Snow: Firing Attorneys Was Miers’ Idea
ABC’s Karen Travers Reports: White House spokesman Tony Snow says the 2004 plan to review and possibly replace all 93 US attorneys was proposed by former White House counsel Harriet Miers. He described her idea a suggestion to consider fresh blood at the US Attorney ranks. It was not a firm recommendation to fire everybody, Snow told reporters today while traveling with the President in Latin America.
Snow added that there are no indications that the President personally made any calls about the US attorneys. The President "made no recommendations on specific individuals," Snow said.
"We don’t have anything to indicate the president made any calls on specific us attorneys."

So now it’s Harriet Miers who is at fault not Karl Rove?? Gonsales should resign — he has been no more than a yes man. Looks like Bush thought more of Harriet than Alberto when it came time to put someone’s name in for the Supreme Court — does that speak some words as well??
