Cheney Blasts Iraq Timetable
ABC News’ Teddy Davis Reports: Vice President Cheney ripped "self-appointed strategists on Capitol Hill" Monday for including a timetable for U.S. troop withdrawal in an Iraq war funding bill.
"It’s time the self-appointed strategists on Capitol Hill understood a very simple concept," Cheney said at a fundraiser for Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala., in Birmingham, Ala. "You cannot win a war if you tell the enemy when you’re going to quit."
DNC Chairman Howard Dean shot back by accusing the vice president of "scare tactics."
"The American people overwhelmingly support the Democratic plan for change in Iraq," said Dean in a statement released by the DNC, "yet the President has stubbornly threatened to veto legislation that contains his own benchmarks for success in Iraq, ensures our troops have the training they need, and supports our veterans."

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
It’s time Cheney understood a simple fact: We can’t win the occupation of Iraq. There is no strategy that will ensure American control of middle eastern oil, no matter how badly he wants it to happen. We’ll just have to buy it like everyone else.
If we want to ensure our energy independence, it’s time, no, way past time, to look for other answers – wind, solar, conservation, less sprawl and all the other things we shoulda been doing since the 70s.
Time to grow up already, America.

Is it just me or does Vice President Cheney seem increasingly irrelevent these days?

We won the war! Remember…Mission Accomplished”? We have lost the Occupation. Bring the troops home now. The illusion of victory is but an illusion.

Fear and hate are the only things the GOP has to offer.

Where would we be if the billions spent in Iraq had been spent on energy independence efforts? Kennedy took us to the Moon, Boosh took us to hell . . . different time tables . . . different priorities.
