Giuliani’s Roe Woe

ABC News’ Teddy Davis Reports: Rudy Giuliani did not rule out signing post-Roe federal legislation codifying abortion rights in an interview with The Washington Post’s Dan Balz.

"If the Supreme Court overturned Roe v. Wade, he said, he would oppose any effort by states to put women in prison for seeking abortions. But he said he has not considered whether he would sign federal legislation aimed at codifying abortion rights nationally. ‘That’s so hypothetical, it’s impossible to answer,’ he said."

Giuliani’s comments to The Washington Post come on top of comments to CNN in which he reaffirmed that he supports public funding for some abortions.

Poor Rudy, he doesn’t stand a chance with his Republican counterparts. He is too truthful and that scares the h— out of them! They haven’t had a truthful administration for so long they are fearful of the truth. Rather than thinking that “the truth can set you free” they are of the mindset “the truth is not for me”.
So, until Rudy learns how to lie as well as or better than Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, or Rove, he is out of luck with his party.

The current crop of Republican hopefuls don’t appear to have a chance in the world of winning the support of the conservative wing
(which seems at time to be about 95%).Only one option left…draft Tom Delay. Delay,Delay…he’s our man…if he can’t return us to the 19th century…nobody can!

How do Giuliani supporters feel about Rudy doing business with Hugo Chavez controlled Citgo Petroleum. Yes, the very same Hugo CHavez who calls the President a “devil” and a “genocidal murderer” AND who proudly speaks of his close friendship with imprisoned terrorist murderer Carlos “the Jackal”.
Rudy’s law firm lobbies for Chavez’s Citgo Petroleum and Rudy’s income is partially funded by his business dealings with Citgo.
