‘Stop Hillary Clinton’: A Vast Internet Conspiracy?

ABC News’ Jennifer Parker Reports: An anti-Hillary Clinton Facebook group is quickly gaining traction on the popular social networking site.

The Facebook group ‘Stop Hillary Clinton: (One Million Strong AGAINST Hillary)’ has over 171,525 members — over 40,000 of which signed up this month alone.

The creator of the group, Stephen DeMaura, said in an interview with TechPresident.com: "To many on the right and the left Hillary Clinton is a polarizing and unacceptable candidate for President."

DeMaura said he reached out to "likely adversaries" of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-N.Y., on Facebook and now they have thousands of people joining every day.

There are several other anti-Clinton groups on Facebook — such as the offensively titled ‘Hillary Clinton: Stop Running for President and Make Me a Sandwich’ group with 2,169 members, and the ‘If Elected, Hillary Clinton Would Usher in the Apocalypse’ group with 2,036 members.

There are other groups with a smattering of members attempting to counter these anti-Clinton groups on Facebook — such as the ‘Hillary Clinton bashing is so passe’ group with 23 members, but these groups are not catching on as quickly.

America is made up of over 300 million people, and you are suggesting the sky is falling becuase of these “right wings” with no followers. My advice to them is they should rush for Canadian passport soon becuase Hillary is going to be their next president.

Hillary is obscene.

It is encouraging that many people of both the Right and Left see Hillary Clinton for the poorly-qualified presidential candidate that she is. My book about Hillary Clinton, “Hillary Clinton Nude: Naked Ambition, Hillary Clinton And America’s Demise” echoes the feelings of many Americans who dread a second Clinton presidency.

Whatever you may think of Hillary Clinton’s personality or political skills, her socialist ideas and her lack of managerial experience would make her a disaster as President.

Sounds like they have at least 171,525 followers so far!

Hating Hillary because you’ve been told to do so shows a lack of independant thought. Can you not think without a conditioned response?
“Obscene”? because she differs with your opinions? “Dangerous?” because she is a woman?
Try at least to come up with a rational argument that is without hyperbole and tries to be reasonable.

I Think Hillary is the most influential woman America has ever seen, and as a new voter & will be honored to vote her into office! It always takes a Clinton to clean up after a Bush!

I feel sorry for people who would
sign up with such a group. I think
that it is time for people to look
into this Stephen person and his background. We have a process,
I don’t have to join a group. I’ll
evaluate each candidate and make a
choice. DON’T BE USED PEOPLE !

Folks, there’s lots of candidates who haven’t been in the middle of the most blatantly scandal-ridden administration in the country’s history.
Scandalous behavior in our leaders–especially the almost cartoonishly over-the-top criminality and vice of the Clinton administration–is terribly damaging to our young people.
Since these young people will create the future, why in the world would we go back to those same leaders? For more of the same? Are we crazy?

Are you kidding? I’m all for a qualified wonan being President, but please. This woman actually said she voted for UN inspectors to go into Iraq, not authorize Bush to use force. If she’s not smart enough to read the bill, then she’s not qualified, if she didn’t listen to her husband describing Iraz as capable of using WMD’s she’s not smart enough to be President. If she’s lying to gain Moveon.org votes, well that says it all and really makes her qualified. I agree, get rid of them all, the gutless republicans and the hate America democrats. Term limits might give the people a chance to receive real leadership instead of the cureent group of unethical money grubing losers. The only real difference in the ethics of both parties is that republicans resign posts during scandals because their backers won’t support them anymore while democrats keep theirs because the liberals believe as Al Davis says “just win baby”.

Anti Hillary outfits have no explanation when asked to justify their constant refrain “She is too polarizing”.
She threatens neocons of the extreme right and left liberals alike, the former with her demonstrated concern for the poor and the threatened middle class and the latter with her refusal to endorse pacifist (and defeatist) foreign policies and a “soak the rich” fiscal regime that would kill enterprise. She is a tough fighter who is articulate, does her home work carefully and is persistent. This is what irritates her “enemies” who expect her to “compromise” all the time.
Contrast Hillary’s clear enunciation of her policies and priorities with the hopeless mushy “audacity of hope” message of Obama who has carefully avoided stating his stand on most issues. Likewise contrast the “support” of Guiliani, McCain and Romney for Bush’s failed Iraq policy and their utter hypocracy in flip flopping on their stands on abortion, gay marriage and other social issues that are important to conservative Republicans.
Hillary haters better judge other candidates in the race as harshly, lest they become a joke among voters.

Hillary would be and even worse disaster than her husband was. I think it is utterly amazing how she can have no platform, and still be supported by a mindless mob of deviants and degenerates. All the clintons stand for is a fascist socialist agenda. Anyone that claims to be an “independent thinker”, isn’t. They drank deeply of the kool-aid, and crave more. Kinda like crack, only more destructive.

Steve: “Try at least to come up with a rational argument that is without hyperbole and tries to be reasonable.”
You want rational and reasonable? Alright…
The entire nation heard and saw Hillary Clinton openly and very vocally support military intervention in Iraq – because she bragged about it at every opportunity in order to gain political points with the public.
Since the going got tough, however, she has tried to disavow any responsibility, in an obvious effort to avoid any negative political fall-out. This shows her to be dishonest, and untrustworthy.
Why did she do this? She did so because her personal ambition knows no bounds. There is nothing she will not do to further her own goals. This shows her to be totally unprincipled, and dangerous.
And what are her goals? Hillary Clinton is a Socialist who seeks to establish a Nanny-Government (led by she and her husband, of course) that completely controls the American people and their money. In order to establish a Socialist government, she seeks the destruction of our Republic and our Constitution, which serve as a barrier to her goals. That makes her a threat to America.
To summarize: she is unprincipled, dishonest, untrustworthy and an enemy of America, who presents a definite and deliberate threat to our nation, and is therefore the last human who should EVER be allowed to occupy the Presidency of the United States of America.
Is that clear enough for you to gather up, or do you need visual aids to help you understand?

I am loath to even consider that Hillary Clinton could represent the American people as President of the United States. I can accept when a canditate does not agree with my political, social or moral values. I can accept an opposing candidate who is sincere and alturist in purpose. I can accept a candidate that is moved by principles they truly believe in not just someone who is motivated by politics. What I cannot accept is someone who is none of those things and is of highly questionable personal character and deportment whose purpose is self serving, arragent and aggrandizing. I believe Dick Morris that Hillary Clinton would be a disaster as President. If she is elected politics as we know it will become even more devisive, mean spirited and embarrassing. That has been her history with those around her and that behavior will only be emboldened and will only increase once she can take off the gloves as President. So many can attest to her temper, her foul mouth, her inability to connect with individuals, her dictorial treatment of those who have worked for her, her unabashed desire for power, and her willingness to bend the truth as it suits her. Her disgust for the military, Secret Service, etc. is well known. Is the person we want sitting with heads of states, overseeing our military, working with all of the governmental agencies, and in general representing the most powerful nation on earth? Why would we chose such a potentially volatile, polarizing person to represent you and I? I for one can not imagine it and pray it may never be a reality.

I am Disgusted to see the veiws of such men, who are obviously afraid that a woman will dominate the field that man has so potently set in place. Afraid? I would be too because A woman not only thinks with her head, but also her heart which is why I support Hillary 100% and secondly President Clinton was an excelent President, What went on behind closed door is not our buisnesses. He got things done when it came to our country, judge not, lest be judged yourself.

Hey ignoramuses,
Why don’t you actually read the description under the largest Stop Hillary Clinton group instead of making assumptions? It is a group for people from all walks of political life who agree that Hillary would be a terrible president.
Believe it or not, it is not a part of the vast right wing conspiracy.

“Hillary” didn’t throw out her lying, cheating, embarassment of a “husband” when he got caught – not once, but several times. So where’s she gonna defend this country and be a world leader–especially in a world where so many countries have no use for women at all?! At least we won’t have to worry about Bill taking over – she’ll just lay in a new supply of interns to keep him busy……

THE MORNING WILL COME WHEN THE WORLD IS MINE
So, “the real agenda was not improving American public education academically but changing it from a system that taught young Americans basic skills and imparted essential cultural knowledge, to a system of training youngsters to serve the state in whatever capacity the government thought necessary.” The Duke lacrosse team fiasco shows that liberal educators have created a phony cultural paradigm that distorts reality. And, nobody exploits phony paradigms, obfuscates the truth, or games the system like the Clintons.
TOMORROW BELONGS TO ME
Set the Wayback Machine for 23 August 1995: a hot day in the nation’s capitol. But 3000 miles due west on the California Coast, a constellation of events was unfolding that would have a cataclysmic effect. Bill Clinton picked up the telephone. It was his Chief of Staff Leon Panetta, calling from a payphone in Monterey. Bill held the receiver at arms length and gazed at the tasteful floral arrangement that adorned the Oval Office. Leon’s disembodied voice filled the room. What now, asked Hillary. It’s that damn college, mouthed Bill. Hillary nodded; just tell Leon he’ll get whatever he needs. There was, no getting out:

Let me say first off, as a woman, I DO NOT want Hillary to be the first female president. I would like to see a woman run for president who has at least a DROP of decency and an ounce of moral fiber. Frankly, I think that Hillary winning the Presidency would set women in politics back, because after the DISASTER of having to live under an administration headed by her, no one would ever want to have another woman in office again. Don’t let her ruin the chance that the rest of us deserve to have to step into the ring. Let’s be honest, what good could EVER come from Hillary running our country. She would simply run it into the ground.

If you kept the pollsters and political advisors away from Hillary for 5 minutes, she wouldn’t be able to produce one definitive, intelligent and reasonable thought of her own.
Yes, she scares me because she is a socialist and moral relativist who lacks the skills to run even the smallest company and, certainly, not the entire country.

Hillary is an evil corupt woman. She is out to change the constitution to fulfill her devious, powermungering self. It would be the only way for her socialist regime to prevail.

In response to the woman who semed to think we dislike Hillary because we have been condiitoned to: think two words: Vince Foster. I remember Hillary in the White House. Hillary may be trying to condition the American people to like her now, but I dislike her. Not because she is a woman, but because she is amoral, vicious and calculating. If a man resembled her, I wouldn’t vote for him either. In a leader, we need a solid moral compass, a record of a predictable, stable life, a history of successful leadership. In short, we need a candidate with no scandal, no history of shredding files or making witnesses disappear. Vince Foster is still dead. Let’s find a candidate without a body count.

If you are not aware that the Clinton’s are in bed with the Bush’s behind the great curtain of OZ you have been brainwashed by the media. Its a big joke, they play Dems vs. Pubs, and you suckers fall for the issues every time. You have not done your research if you cannot even see through the travesty power grab for a 30 year dynasty if Hillary is elected. We now live in an aristocracy and you are too busy watching Gilmore girls to care.

I have no confidence in Hillary after all she is claiming experience in the White House eight years to be exact. And all the issues she claims to change now are the same problems that were facing us when she was in the White House. Hello! Get real people! She is washed up and sinking. I frankly would love to see Obama in the White House. But I would like anyone except Hillary. She is cold, manipulative, angry, likes to be abused, I am a woman and would love to see a woman in the White House( Nancy Pelosi?) but not another Clinton(don’t forget a spare apartment for another Monica) To have a another Clinton in the White House is a shaming joke.

Question….how does being married to a President equate to “experience”.
That would be like going in for open heart surgery and the lady with the scalpel says “Don’t worry, I have experience…my husband was a surgeon for eight years!”
