A Presidential Father’s Day

ABC News’ Jon Garcia Reports: President Bush spent his Father’s Day–like everyone else in Central Texas–experiencing the pounding of a summer thunderstorm. The deluge was so intense that it turned one tributary of the Middle Bosque river, which runs through the President’s ranch, into a raging torrent. The normally calm falls at Tonkawa Park had become a mini-Niagara Falls. The water was so high it spilled out onto Farm Route 185, closing one of the two main access roads to Crawford.

But the water didn’t stop the First Family from celebrating Dad’s holiday. First Daughter Jenna presented Mr. Bush with a CD mix she made with her twin sister Barbara, who was absent from their family gathering. The First Lady gave the First Dad several neckties she picked up while traveling in Europe for the G8 last week
