Bush “Hangs” With Bono at G8

ABC News’ Karen Travers Reports: President Bush met with Irish rocker/activist Bono, music producer Bob Geldof and Senegalese singer Youssou N’Dour Wednesday at the Kempinski Grand Hotel Heiiligendamm in Germany, site of the G8 meetings.

Bush, Bono, Geldof and N’Dour exchanged quick pleasantries before the meeting. Posed for pictures with Bono, Bush said, "Hanging out with good company, aren’t I?"

Bono has called on G8 leaders to reaffirm their 2005 commitment to fight poverty in Africa. Bono will sing at an anti-poverty concert in Germany Thursday.

It’s time for everyone to demand change from our leaders.
Only justice through sharing will truly lead to peace and global sustainability. The world’s poor deserve much more help from the wealthiest and greediest countries in the West. Sharing resources will save the world…
