CodePink Kicked Out of McNulty Hearing
ABC News’ Jason Ryan Reports: The U.S. Capitol Police have ordered about 10 protesters from the anti-Iraq war, anti-Bush administration group CodePink out of the House Judiciary Committee room.
The group was in the room waiting for Deputy Attorney General Paul McNulty to testify in the continuing Congressional investigation of the firing of eight U.S. attorneys last year.
An officer said the protestors were in violation of House rules. A handful of the women were wearing jump suits similar to those worn by detainees at Guantanamo Bay.
They were also carrying signs expressing disapproval with the Bush administration, and others calling for Attorney General Alberto Gonzales to be fired.
"We really don’t know why we are being kicked out," said one woman. She also claimed to be on the phone with her lawyer.
"Get rid of Gonzales — he’s the criminal," another protestor said as she was escorted out of the hearing room.

God bless Code Pink. Hopefully these great ladies will have a positive effect to get our country back on the right track. This country is not war mongering. We have a president who is a hell bent war mongerer. I respect all efforts by all groups who are fighting to take our country back from these extreme neoconservatives.

The country doesn’t want for enemies as long as it has neo-liberal organizations like Code Pink around. Like most of their ilk, they really aren’t anti-war, they’re just vaguely sympathetic with whoever hates the U.S.
