Dodd enlists Paul Simon to help campaign
ABC News’ Donna Hunter reports: Grammy Award winner Paul Simon is playing impromptu concerts in Iowa Saturday to help garner support for Sen. Chris Dodd’s (D-CT) campaign for the democratic presidential nomination.
Simon, who has been friends with Dodd for twenty years, emphasized how important it was for Dodd to push his message at these rallies, "because of how many candidates there are at this point in the process. You don’t really get a chance to hear everything that he has to say."
The Dodd campaign, which brought Simon to Iowa as part of their "River-to-River Tour", was pleased with the turnout at the concerts, which was as high as 600 in some locations. Traveling Press Secretary Colleen Flanagan said that a strong showing in Iowa is what the campaign needs to ensure success in future primaries.
Dodd has already mobilized resources in Iowa, where he has consistently polled in the low single digits. With 40 paid staffers on the ground in Iowa, the campaign said it plans to hire more staffers in August.

Since you have known Sen Dodd for many years this may be difficult, but we don’t really want more of the same republicrat-demican status quo…..we want to be FREE again.
