Huckabee Improves Fundraising Numbers

ABC News Kevin Chupka reports: In the second quarter of primary fundraising, former Arkansas Governor Mike Huckabee improved upon his first quarter fundraising numbers but still lags behind the "front-runners" by a considerable margin. He began the quarter with $373918.28 cash on hand, raised a total of $765,873.13 and spent $702,622.33 to end up with $437,169 cash on hand. He is carrying $31,045 in debt.
Top donor states: Arkansas, $293,582; Texas, $117,599; North Carolina, $36,159.
Top employers: Challenger Inc., whose employees gave $6,900;
The Stephens Group, whose employees gave $6,900;
Wal-Mart Stores Inc., whose employees gave $5,800.
Some are taking note of the contributions of Wal-Mart employees, however this is not all that surprising as Wal-Mart is headquartered in Huckabee’s home state of Arkansas.

LOL-If you look close he has Arkansas state employees donating a lot and he has several of his family on the campaign payroll and paid himself $10, 000 !
