More on Obama v Clinton

The Quad City Times has posted the audio of its interviews with Sens. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, and Barack Obama, D-Illinois, in which the frontrunners use some of the strongest rhetoric yet in Campaign 2008.

Clinton can be heard HERE.

Key part: "I thought that was irresponsible and frankly naïve to say that he (Sen. Obama) would commit to meeting with Chavez and Castro and others within the first year…Senator Obama gave an answer which I think he’s regretting today."

Obama’s response can be heard HERE … and he doesn’t hold back either.

"If anything is irresponsible and naive, it was authorizing George Bush to send 160,000 young American men and women into Iraq — apparently without knowing how they were going to get out."

Moreover, Obama said, "if Senator Clinton’s interested in a continuation of the Bush-Cheney diplomatic strategies over the next several years, that’s fine, but she certainly can’t claim the mantle of change. She’s not going to be able to significantly shift the perception of the United States around the world."

It’s getting hot out there.

It must drive Clinton nuts that everyone is saying Obama won the debate when she’s so convinced she won the single question.
Then again, she also was convinced we needed to invade Iraq, presumably because Bush told her so. And she was convinced that her husband was “ministering” to Monica Lewinsky, presumably because he told her so.

The battle for Dem political supremacy is most certainly engaged, especially since Sen. Clinton wasn’t viewed as the clear, decisive winner of the “debate.” Now, she’s now on the offensive in a no-holds-barred competition. But as to which candidate holds the high moral ground in this contretemps, I’d refer to John 8:7, as you did in an earlier post, Jake.

Clinton wins this point, as in she’s in the right. But Obama’s answer, and dem fighting words above, will likely appeal to The Base.

I’m at a lost I have to defend Clinton again, she is right you do not talk to these people, it only gives them credibility.
Someone tell Obama that President Bush is not running in 08 please, actually tell all the Marxists.
Obama the answer to pulling out our troops is easy , WHEN ALL THE TERRORISTS ARE DEAD. but another thing is you do not advertise any strategy, so answer this Obama if you God forbid become president, are you going to give military strategy out? That is what you are looking for? see the military does not plan to surrender they plan to win.

I keep my friends close, and my enemies even closer.
For all the Hillarys cowards, I would have to be in the face of my enemy, so they know I `am all over them, I know what they do,when they do it,and how they do it, not just a GUT feeling! (how stupid is that) because I would have covert, and would infiltrat their organizations.
Bad neighborhoods dont scare the average person, doing nothing about it does!
