MoveOn Attacks Bush in TV Ad
EmailRiding the media momentum of their New York Times Petraeus/Betray-Us ad earlier this week, MoveOn.org has set its sights on a new target: President Bush.
On Monday, the antiwar group will launch a television ad accusing the president of betraying the nation’s trust.
The ad uses the troop strength and surge numbers to illustrate that, despite White House calls for a drawdown, there will be the same number of U.S. forces in Iraq as there were before the surge began.

The 30-second spot is first in the group’s "George Bush: Betrayal of Trust" ad campaign.

Iraqis elected a theocracy. Its their country and don’t want the US there.
Most Americans, conservatives and liberals in both parties, don’t want an extended war lasting to a decade or more. In the end what will have been accomplished?
Iraq will have to take the reins at some point to direct their country and government themselves. Yes, things will be very difficult and get ugly. But Iraqis and Iraq will persevere.
