Remix – Obama makes “Whatta Man”
EmailABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports: Arnold is so out. And Obama is so in. That’s according to Salt-N-Pepa.
The leading girls rap group in the ’90′s has decided to update the lyrics to their 1997 hit "Whatta Man," with more current references.
The original lyrics included a shout out to body builder, Arnold Schwarzenegger, pre-governorship, "With a body like Arnold with a Denzel face."
But after discussing it, the two rappers much prefer the body of presidential candidate Sen. Barack Obama, D-Ill., and have reworked the lyrics to, "A body like Obama with a Denzel face."
The rappers’ change of heart – and lyrics – was featured on the debut of the Salt-N-Pepa Show on VH1 this week.
