Obama: No ‘Pot Shots’ at Clinton
ABC News’ David Wright and Sunlen Miller Report: At a rare press conference — one where half of the questions included the mention of his rival, Sen. Hillary Clinton — presidential hopeful Sen. Barack Obama defended his strategy to not outright attack his opponent.
"I’m not interested in taking pot shots just for the sake of taking pot shots. If I have a serious difference with Senator Clinton, I’ve made that difference absolutely clear," Obama responded, "I’m not going to manufacture stuff just for the sake of manufacturing it."
Obama is in the middle of a five day bus tour throughout Iowa, one where the agenda has been focused mainly on domestic issues and reclaiming the "American Dream."
"I think this week we were just talking about domestic policy so I don’t think that there was some, major strategic interest. We continue to believe that there is a big difference between myself and Senator Clinton in how we would approach diplomacy in the Middle East, how we would deal with countries that we don’t like, and our approach to Iran and our approach to Iraq," he said.
Obama was also grilled about the whereabouts of his records while he was a state senator.
"I don’t have the Barack Obama state senate library available to me so we had a bunch of file cabinets. I do not have a whole bunch of records from those years," Obama responded, "It could have been thrown out. I haven’t been in the state senate now for quite some time."
Earlier in the day, at a taping of "Iowa Press" on Iowa Public Television, Obama gave a prediction and warning to Clinton, "If you don’t do well in Iowa, you’re going to have problems catching up, there’s no doubt about that. That’s true not just for me, but for Senator Clinton as well."

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
well i guess that the adage that if Hilary is touting her experience as first lady then her records documenting that experience must be made available just doesn’t hold true for Obama’s time in the state senate and incidentally he left the state senate in 2004 …not all that long ago..but then again he is special! or so he ‘d like us to believe.. just really tired of him making snide comments about his opponents..at least have the guts to come out and say it straight like edwards!

It’s trivial garbage like that (below), that’s causing so many problems for actual progress. There are candidates for presidency, choose one. Politics shouldn’t be something people argue about; it should be something we come together about. Let the issues speak for themselves.
