Obama Stakes Monetary Claim

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller Reports: The forth and final town hall of Sen. Barack Obama’s campaign swing trough western Iowa brought a barrage of odd questions and equally odd responses.

A discussion about medical marijuana inspired an audience member to ask if Obama had "inhaled a toss back to Bill Clinton’s defense of smoking, but not inhaling, marijuana while growing up.

Obama, D-Ill., responded bluntly, "I did."

But Obama then added, "The point was to inhale."

Obama was also asked by a child what money bill would he be on, a question which prompted a laugh by Obama.

"The truth is they don’t put the president on money until long after you’re dead," Obama explained, "So I don’t want to be on money anytime soon."

Obama couldn’t let the question go by though without staking his monetary claim,

"Maybe 70, 80, 90 years from now, I’ll be on a One Hundred dollar bill….put Benjamin Franklin aside."

i love the fact that you guys destort the stoy, the question of the “child” came before the question of weather he inhaled. and he answer was, that he sis not understand that line, referring to the 3/4 lie of clinton. instead he said that the point of smoking is to inhale.
the audience agreed with him. stop the bs tell the truth. or at least give us the link to the story.

The only thing i know for sure is he is being honest. a lot more than the clintons. He spends more time talking about possible solutions to important issues more so than hillary. at least he will be able to unite this country. With hillary in office republicans will only waste the next 4 years smearing her name instead of working together on some important issues. Nothing will get done with her in office. He is genuine, hillary looks more out to just win than be president

Here is a suggestion for you: Learn how to spell and not criticize reporters doing their jobs. The reporter did not distort the truth, but merely used good composition to report the facts.
