Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hillary Hill-la-ree*

(*That title is to be sung to the tune of that JFK theme song from 1960.)

Obviously the big story on the campaign trail today is the resignation of Hillary Clinton’s New Hampshire campaign co-chair Bill Shaheen.

But beyond that there were two interesting moments at the Des Moines Register "debate" today.

One came when Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, was asked how he could bring change if so many of his foreign policy advisers were members of Bill Clinton’s administration.

Clinton laughed loudly, interrupting his answer, kinda.

"I want to hear that," she said. "HA HA HA HA HA HA."

"Well, Hillary, I’m looking forward to you advising me as well," Obama said. "I want to gather up talent from everywhere."

Another interesting moment came when Clinton talked about how Iowans wanted change. "Well, everybody on this stage has an idea about how you get change," she said.

In veiled shots at John Edwards and Obama, respectively, Clinton said, "Some people believe you get change by demanding in, some believe you get it by hoping for it," she said. "I believe you get it by working hard for change. That’s what I’ve done my whole life."

You cannot concurrently claim that you’ve been skulking around in washington for 35 years AND that you’ll bring change. Unless, i guess, your argument is that you really screwed things up and now you want to go back on everything, and change your mess….or something like that……?
When i look at how long Dodd and Biden have been in washington, and hear Hillary talk about her “35 years of experience” (which is debatable) I think , “Man, if you haven’t been able to accomplish what you set out to do in 35 YEARS, get out of washington and get a new job!”
And it makes me think fondly of term limits.
We DO need change, and tired old Hillary Clinton won’t do.

HILLARY WAS OUTSTANDING ONCE AGAIN IN THE DEBATE! obamaboy was very dissapointing, looks like he has nothing to offer when oprahs not around. He seems to forget what his point is while hes struggling to make one? he is nothing without the oprah hype… This guy is no leader…

JOI —- Hillary was outstanding??? How so??? i have seen numerous posts on Hillary’s experience and how she will exact needed change… What I STILL haven’t heard are any details? How will she pay for healthcare..or the countless other socialist promises she has made… In yesterdays debate, she was asked if she thought the deficit was a problem and what she would do to fix it (major softball question) and her response sounded pretty good, but when you thought about it, she didn’t really say anything…she spoke about some plan she has that no one is privy to but really didn’t even outline any specifics… This is what we need??? Lip service that amounts to nothing?

Excuse me but Hillary Clinton is the only one of the canidates that is actually honest and decent. She gives you the truth straight up, and be honest with your self where do you think the money will come from? People are really unbelievable. First of all how can anyone even think about voting republican? They sure have done a great job in the past 8 years… haven’t they? I mean really, we’ve managed to stick our noses into another mess once again, costing our nation billion and billions of the tax payers money. Hell, why not god knows we have pleanty of it to blow, the FDA the biggest source of the governments funds will keep all those republicans real happy, maybe we can power up some more and take over a few more countries while were at it. Since we have no value of what this country was based on anymore.. why not.
You know, I just cant see why something so simple doesn’t stand out to everyone.
This country was based on the laws of God, the democracy was formed to make it so “the poeple” actually had a voice and some say in who should represent thier country for them. WOW what a great representation we have had over the past few years. Im sorry, but I’m embarrased for our country. Democracy:Democrat? The democrats are for the people. They want to help the people who need help, not help the rich get richer. We have our own people in this country that need help. What about them? Why is someone foreign treated better than we are. Maybe I should move out get citizenship somewhere else for a while and then come back as a foreigner, maybe ill get handed a house, vehicle, free medical insurance and a business to get me rolling in the dough faster than I can say citizen.
Hillary wants to change healthcare. Its time for a women to step in and clean house… literally. She will do a great job and get this nation back on tack like it should be. Women are more nuturing and she will nuture this nation back to health.

i think she was out standing also, i seen that interview and it was great Little O was trying to start up some fire their with her but she didn”t take the Bait, good for her, she is a lot smarter than folks think, and what really does get to me, is the way that when any one says any thing she gets the blame, she is to blame for Bills conduct in the white house according to them and it makes me sick to hear them go on and on around her hiding stuff, what in the name of God is the matter with them?she is a lady thro and thro, and will make a very fine president
