Obama Meets “The One That Caused all the Trouble”: The Clinton Planted Questioner

ABC News’ Sunlen Miller reports: Obama wrapped up his stump speech to a Grinnell college crowd Tuesday night and ended with a familiar joke, “these questions were not pre-selected or pre-arranged,” a knock to the Clinton campaign’s planting question controversy.

But what Obama did not expect was for a character from the controversy to be in the front row.

Students began pointing fingers to one girl, and Obama replied, “Is this the young lady right here? Oh my goodness! I didn’t know she was gonna be here.”

Sure enough, it was Muriel Gallo-Chasanoff, the 19 year old sophomore who had asked a Hillary Clinton a question about climate change which had been planted by a Clinton campaign staffer.

Obama joked, “I’m not gonna call on her,” then moved on.

But the intrepid Gallo-Chasanoff still got her own question to Senator Obama this time.

Obama shook her hand after the event, laid both hands on her shoulders and said, “You caused all the trouble.”

Gallo-Chasanoff nodded smiling.

Then posed her question to the Senator, “Is it really possible to reach this level of national politics without altering your morals,” a fitting question for the ethical controversy she has been wrapped up in.

Obama told her, “You don’t have to compromise who you are. You have to make compromises. But not your core values.”

Gallo-Chasanoff was coy about which candidate she is supporting for the Iowa caucus, saying she’s not going to say right now.

I sure hope she’s not supporting that horrible junior senator from NY (sort of).

I guess after dealing with Hilllary asking if altering your morals is a valid question to her.

An ironic question to ask a Dem candidate. You can’t alter your morals if you have none.

Tyspock:
You sound like another Hillary plant.
It’s funny how Hillary supporters tend to forget her comments on Saddam ad the vote for war not to mention all those UN resolutions… Pathetic.

Your comments perfectly illustrate why we do not need another Clinton in the White House. Personal attacks. Hatred for opponents. Dstortion of the truth. It must be painful to live with so much hatred.

The article on the latest ABC/WP Newhampshire poll CURIOUSLY failed to mention that the percentage of voters that give importance to CHANGE Obama’s strength) is 53% while only 37% give importance to EXPERIENCE(Hillary’s strength). That means Obama gets the majority vote of the majority voters while Hillary gets the majority vote of a minority section of voters. Therefore the inside story of of this poll is very good news for Obama than it is for Clinton.

I guess the problem I have is this, why do the republicans BELIEVE that they are the only ones who can raise this country to another level? We have had enough with politicians; this is the problem we the citizens have with leaders of the past. We do not want another politician running our country. CHANGE! This is what we want CHANGE! Our country; the world, has never been in such a bad situation that it is in today. Because of the republicans the current administration, the politicians who supposedly have all this knowledge and experience they speak so highly about.
