Biden Kicks Off at Local Pub
ABC News’ Brian Wheeler reports: Sen. Joe Biden kicked off caucus day with a salute to his Irish roots: a rally at Jamieson’s Public House in Waterloo. Yet, this was no drinking matter.
"You are a sober group of people. You take this thing seriously," Biden told the crowd.
Biden took implicit shots at the frontrunners: "what have you done to change anything? Have you demonstrated in your career you’re willing to be the odd man out with no one else supporting you, and change the landscape of this country? Ladies and gentleman this is not about change and its not about experience alone. It is about action."
The senators day continues with rallies in Davenport and Dubuque before returning to Des Moines.

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
GO JOE! Compared to the front runners no one can touch his experience. Only Dodd can state a case.
Obama – 3 years on nat’l politics
Clinton – 7 years a Senator
Edwards – 6 years a Senator
Richards – better than the big 3, former UN ambassador
Experience. It Matters.
Hopefully Joe comes through with a strong showing tonight.

Biden’s right. HRC-Obama-Edwards are not just light on experience, they are light on results. Talk about change all you want, but where’s the history of bringing about change?
The time is right for Joe Biden. He has a long history in the senate of getting things done (Biden Crime Bill, Violence Against Women Act, Plan for Iraq, kept Bork off the court, etc. etc.). What have the rest done? Richardson and Dodd have experience for sure, but none can unite the parties like Biden.
