Bill Clinton: Hillary Can Be the ‘Comeback Kid’
ABC News’ Kate Snow Reports: Bill Clinton says his wife can be a “comeback kid” just like he was.
"Absolutely," President Clinton said in a brief interview with ABC News.
"Remember I lost here," Clinton added, referring to New Hampshire. (Bill Clinton placed second in New Hampshire in 1992 behind Paul Tsongas.)
He then quickly listed off his other losses from memory: "South Dakota, Maine, Maryland, Colorado, before I ever won a state," he said.
So what can Hillary Clinton do to come back?
"Run that hard here," said her husband. "She’s got a better profile here. They know more about her now than they did about me then. And I think she’ll be fine. We just get out and go."
Bill Clinton did express one concern about the shortened time frame for campaigning in New Hampshire. New Hampshire’s primary is next Tuesday, January 8– just five days after the Iowa caucuses.
"I just wish we had ten days instead of five," Clinton said.

Iowa has shown us that the American people can see through the Clintons’ 2-for-1 strategy, which we first heard from Bill back in 1992. At President Bush’s first inauguration, Bill said, “We’ll be back.” It’s part of Bill and Hillary’s life-long plan. Fortunately, it’s been rejected, and we can only hope the rest of the country follows suit.
I did not ask for 2-for-1 then, nor do I ask for it now. That’s just the life-long Clinton strategy that moves Hillary into a position for which she is not qualified.
Every time Bill moves up (Gov of Arkansas), Hillary moves up with him (Attorney General of Arkansas). Bill moves up again (President of the US); Hillary moves up with him (US Senate). See the pattern, women?
Consider what America got with the first Clinton co-Presidency:
• Abuse of the powers of the office of the President
• Granting Presidential pardons to buy Hillary’s election to the Senate. As a woman who made it on my own, Hillary’s need to ride Bill’s coattails and her sense of entitlement (as in “it’s my turn and Obama should wait his turn”) makes me doubt her capabilities.
• Hillary’s long-suffering marriage to Bill, enabling a lifetime of sexual trysts and trying to contain the Bimbo eruptions, gives me a President without the backbone to stand up to a man. Hillary claims to be tough enough to play with the boys when, in fact, she is unable to leave a cheating husband. How will she stand up to other male leaders who see this in “Mrs.” Clinton and walk all over her?
• Being married to a former President does not make one qualified to be President.
Hillary has less experience in elected office than Barack. She’s held elected office for one Senate term plus one year and has introduced no major legislation during that time. She showed us in the interview about Pakistani elections the extent of her foreign policy experience–she did not know what office the election was for or who was on the ballot! Is this the kind of experience we want in the Oval Office?
I am not a “Hillary hater;” I am an America lover. Please consider very carefully which candidate the Democratic Party puts on the ballot. The future of this country absolutely depends on it.

When Bill Clinton was loosing early primaries in 1991, few people knew who he was (or what he said he represented). Hillary is loosing and EVERYONE knows who she is. That is a very bad sign for Hillary. We don’t like her.

I am afraid that Hillary is not dead yet. She has too many big dollar supporters and she is still the darling of the Media.
The only thing that will drive a stake into the heart of this beast is a string of defeats all the way through Florida and may have to go through Super Tuesday.
She has to be defeated if we want this country to remain a democracy. This holds true for all of the democrats except for Bill Richardson.

At this point, the only real question appears to be: Who is more popular, Bill Clinton or Oprah? Apparently the candidates themselves aren’t winning their own elections. I am too cynical to believe that anyone “sees through her”, or that any of the candidates in either party are truly qualified or ethical. It is shocking how much people will believe from the candidates’ after having made their choice. People STILL love and admire HRC’s perjurous, adulterous, lascivious husband, and no revelations of fact will EVER change that.
Personally, I doubt the importance of Iowa in the big picture. Being first on the calendar doesn’t necessarily mean being significant in any other way. No offense intended, Iowa. Hillary is not out of the running. Or rather, Bill and Oprah haven’t settled the matter yet.

The “comeback kid” implies one has someplace to come back to, which in this case I hope is Yale, where she lost in a student poll bigger than Iowa. Also, Bill, if she was a “kid,” you might spend some time in your own bed! I think the real reason for HRC’s drubbing in Iowa is that Obama and Edwards are stealth members of the vast right-wing conspiracy. Go Barack!!! Knock her down again in NH.

Obama vs. McCain (or Giuliani, I suppose)would be a breath of fresh air for the country. All 3 are statesmen!
The politics of divisiveness, personal destruction, assigning ones own negatives to their opponent, and deny, deny, deny is the PHONY politics and person of the Clintons.
I am hopeful that people recognize that the world will be a better place without the self-serving agendas of the Clintons.
I am hopeful today…. and would recommend that Hillary bow out now to enable the opportunity for Obama to lead the Democratic Party.

I don’t think Hillary is done by any means. She’s kind of like Medusa (heck, that face can turn anyone to stone).
Anyway, she has the war chest to keep her in the race for quite awhile, and I think she will still get the Dem nomination (perish the thought). The only thing that can keep her from getting the nomination is the mainstream media—if they discover that they can get out their message through Obama instead of through Hillary, they will dump her in a heartbeat. The media have been carrying the Clinton water for a long time, and I am sure they are a bit tired of it.
One final point—even the worst in the field of Republicans would be better than whoever the best is in the Democrat field (does the word ‘vacuous’ ring a bell).

Hopefully this truly is a sign the Democrats realize how corrupt the Clintons really are.
Why won’t the media investigate all the millions the foreign governments, criminals (Marc Rich), etc. are giving to the Clinton Library? If it’s on the up and up why is it all too secret to release? Why won’t the other presidential candidates hammer this home? Could it be Hillary also has their FBI files from the 90′s?

Hillary and her people were instrumental in accelerating the primary timeline, because she was expected to run the table.
Bill’s comparisons to the 92 and 96 campaigns don’t work, because of the abbreviated calendar.

Hillary is ready on day 1 to fight bimbo eruptions and terrorize her opponents. This is her proven expertise. Period. It is extraordinarily poetic that it was the Dems themselves that threw her in a snowy Iowa ditch. How sweet it is.
Posted by: LWH | January 4, 2008, 12:27 pm 12:27 pm
Hillary’s time was Bill’s time. Now, as evidenced by last night, there is a new kid on the block. And that guy brings out more possible votes than any candidate ever IMO. Democrats in other states will see what they saw last night and realize he will win in November. I say this as an ardent John Edwards supporter who loves the guy’s passion and fight. However, 2008 is bigger than a personal favorite, it is about a new energy the non political types have never felt. The possibilities that Obama represents is too strong to compete with and last night was the begining of the end. Hillary has one chance and that is to play the Bill Clinton card to the Hilt. No other candidate can boast of having a former president, a good one at that, as their spouse or closest advisor. She can’t go after Obama now, his train has already began to steamroll. Obama may get 60% of the vote in November.

Hillary will in fact clinch the nominee. She is leading in the polls in New Hampshire and has a big lead in large states. She is the one to lead the country. What does Obama have over Clinton? Hillary has great admiration in the international community, which is what we need. We do not know Obama. If he gains ground, be sure that the GOP will tear this guy apart. I have faith that NH and other early states will nominate the candidate who will best lead the nation. A few farming hicks do not reflect the minds of the rest of the country.

What a Joke…all those comments should have been made in B Clinton’s Second try for the presidency and H R C’s second Senate run! Dems have to make the decision as they did in Massachusetts ..are their Blacks Ready Yet..in Mass they tell us all the time..that is when we want to run for a Statewide Office or a Legislative Office or Congress..YOU ARE NOT READY..now it is coming back to haunt them..We now have a Black Dem. Governor..the first Dem to win a Statewide office up here in Dem/Lib Mass..even tho the MASS. Republicans had a great Black Attorney General and US Senator decades before Dems..BLACK DEMOCRATS ARE MERELY WAKING UP AND IT IS JUST BAD TIMING FOR HILLARY… AFTER DECADES OF AFFIRMATIVE ACTION AND ALL THE OTHER PERKS…BLACK DEMOCRATS ARE NOW FIT FOR NATIONAL OFFICE..CAN’T WAIT TO SEE HOW CLINTON REACTS TO THAT FACT!
No more will people in Mass. elect the old White Democrats to higher office and ted and john better watch out..Capuano was the last one to use the “your not ready” line…ADVICE TO DEMS…DO NOT TRY IT AGAIN!

There are two bright spots here. One, every candidate Bill endorsed lost, and two, there has not been a Senator elected president in almost 50 years.

Unless there’s some deep horrible secret about Obama that is going to come out of nowhere and destroy him, he is gong to look very “Presidential” come November. That victory speech of Obama’s was just about the most moving and effective piece of oratory I’ve listened to in over 20 years.

The Hillary we all know but don’t want to say: She is a pure socialist. She wants the presidency for its reputation but not for its responsibilities in making difficult life altering decisions. Bill was the same way and did not want the responsibilities either. He was too busy with his bimbo eruptions, internship trysts, and wag the dog scenarios. In short, everyone knows what Hillary is and she is a nightmare and a disaster in the making. I am certain that the terrorist would love to have a socialist, pacifist fool in the white house so that they can more easily destroy america from within. At least the have respect for Bush because they know that he is out to kill them. Terrorist respect the stronger person not the useful idiots among the liberals. Hint, hint, Obama? Speaking of Obama, he won the “anyone but Hillary” vote last night. I am sure this will be a national wide trend among democrats.

Experience can be overrated; we’ve all known people with tons of “experience” who never seem to learn from their mistakes.
Obama’s no bumpkin; he’s a Harvard grad who will no doubt surround himself with a cabinet of people more experienced in the areas he lacks and I think he’ll listen to them. I also sense that, even though his instincts are far from hawk-ish, he’d respect the military in a way neither Clinton could ever bring themself to do.
Would he screw up a few times in his first couple of years? Probably, but show me a president who hasn’t, and I’ll bet he’s a fast learner.
And I’m a Republican who’d vote for him over Preacher Mike in a heartbeat…

Regarding Hillary (from a conservative):
1. I think the one poster meant that she is a hydra, not a Medusa. A hydra is a mythical beast that, when the head was cut off, three more grew in its’ place.
2. Never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, never, ever write the Clintons off. That has been the downfall of many an opponent of theirs.
3. The best way to beat a Clinton is to have a better plan (see 1994′s Contract with America – It was a positive counter to what the Clintons were doing) Obama seems to be doing this, and he is inspirational to listen to. I did so last night and was transfixed by his positiveness.
3. Whomever gets elected, remember this: We don’t elect a dictator; we elect a president who needs the support of Congress to do whatever they want to do. A case in point: When the Republicans got control of Congress in 1995 (the election was in 1994…), was Mr. Clinton able to run roughshod over them? No. Checks and Balances, folks…
It’s getting interesting!

I’m a Republican and I’ll be voting for Obama. With that said, I would also be okay with a Huckabee presidency. I like all the other candidates and will not be unhappy with any of them with the EXCEPTION of Hillary Clinton. I have a deep and abiding hatred of what those two-fers did the to his country’s reputation and many good people who were part of their team. Here I am thinking Richardson whose viability as a candidate has been sullied by the Clintons.

My gut tells me that any Democrat or Democrat leaning independent in New Hampshire that listened to Obama’s victory speech in Iowa last night will end up voting for Obama on Tuesday.
I am a libertarian who wouldn’t ordinarily consider supporting a statist/socialist politician if you held a gun to my head. After listening to that speech, I was actually moved.
Also, it wasn’t just me who was affected. I was watching Pat Buchanan’s reaction on MSNBC.
Pat Buchanan!!!
Chris Matthews went directly to Buchanan after Obama was done speaking for his immediate reaction. I have never seen Buchanan look like that before. He looked like he had just peered into the future and seen the moment of his own death. What he said was that Huckabee’s speech suddenly made him look pretty good as the Republican nominee.
Reading between the lines, Buchanan’s emotional reaction was, “Oh my God, if the Republicans don’t get their act together in about 6 seconds, we can kiss the Presidency goodbye until 2012.”
Was anybody else watching Buchanan’s reaction?

So will she put her personal lust for power above her party and her Country?
Of course she will!

When Hillary’s poll numbers first started to decline, she went to Iowa and talked to a lot of people. And everytime that she opened up her mouth, her poll numbers declined. So when it got down close to the actual caucuses, she started in with her “listening” tours again, where she wouldn’t say anything, but she would listen to what the people wanted. And she has Chelsea doing the same, and this is the Clinton’s version of “Don’t ask, Don’t tell”, no one is supposed to ask them questions anymore and they won’t tell us any more lies!
Meanwhile, when Obama talks, his poll numbers increase, as do Edwards.

You have to all agree, Clinton’s loss makes the race even more interesting. And, when she does make her comback, one primary at a time, and win the nomination (and the eventual presidency), this will make for a great story and the media will be all over it. I can hear the theme music to the Hillary Clinton movie already.

The only reason that Bill Clinton went on to win the Presidency is because the press chose to ignore his widely-known alleged rapes of women and his long history of philandering.
America cannot afford to be humiliated again with the Clintons in the White House a second time!

I heard all the speeches, from the democrats, last night.
Clinton acted like she had won when she knew dam well she was crushed and that she is mortally wounded.
Edwards makes me want to puke with his class warfare blame corporations and lobbyists for evrything BS.
Obama – Interesting, talks nice, looks sharp. Obviously has a very good speech writer and he can deliver it well.
But is no one worried about what he actually wants to do? He is a socialist, plain and simple. Hillera is too but at least she does not actually run on that crap. he does.
Any of these three would be a disaster for America. Fortunately with the rules in the Senate, as long as we have 41 republican Senators none of their crap can get passed and into law.

If Mrs. Clinton truly has nothing to hide then why are her’s and Bill’s documents still under wraps? why not make them public?
I lived in DC during the second Clinton debacle/administration and her agenda has ALWAYS been quite clear – to return. She is just as devious as her husband, who the late former President Ford called “the perfect politician”. Just because she “says” she’s innocent doesn’t mean she IS. Or is she just taking another que from her “dearly devoted” husband? And yes, i use that adjective quite loosely. I am a republican but I would like to see Obama make it. He also has healthcare reform, a very good plan for getting the troops out as well as a solid stance on economics. If Mrs. Clinton makes it into office I am seriously considering citizenship elsewhere!
thank you,
Jim

I am a Republican. I can read the tea leaves. Obama will be the next President of the United States.
The trend now is that the Republicans intend to nominate the one candidate that will assure victory for the Democrats in November. Democrats are playing it smart by rejecting two phonies from Arkansas. Yet the Republicans are embracing a third phony from ‘Arkansas’. I think we all have had enough of Presidents elected from ‘Arkansas’.
P.S. I have nothing against your average ‘Joe’ from Arkansas. Many are very good people. Some are personal friends. I just cannot stand the likes of the ‘Clintons’ and Huckabee. Politics and Religion should remain separate. My view is that the Clintons are preachers for a type of ‘Elitism’. In the case of Bill, it may be also be ‘Hedonism’.

Ms. Clinton claims to have sixteen years experience. One and a half terms as
NY senator, and claims eight years as the wife of the president. She did recieve daily presidental breifing, did
not attend National Security breifings.
Did not essert herself on probelms in Sudan, Rawanda, or Somailia. During
President B. Clinton’s war on terror, deciding whther to bomb Sudan and Afganistan in 1998, she did not “advise”
because the White house and America were
reeling from the Monica Lewinsky scandal, heck they were barely speaking.

The Clintons are the living, breathing personification of ambition over substance, ambition over character, ambition over integrity and ambition over all else.
They have proven that they will say and do anything, in pursuit of personal gain, and that they will care not for anything or anyone that stands in their self proclaimed right-of-way.
“Experience!” she yells from the roof tops??? Is this the “experience” for which the Democratic Party is looking?
Corrupt, conceited, arrogant, self-serving narcissists… Are these two individuals the Democratic standard bearers?
It cannot be.
Gods Speed to Obama, and/or Richardson, and/or (even) Edwards (for that matter).

Don’t waste your time asking any Hillary supporter to name a single accomplishment of hers that supposedly qualifies her to be president. I have done that on many other sites and have come up with ZIP, NADA, NOTHING by way of a positive response. It is easy to say that she is the most experienced or the most qualified, but difficult (read “impossible”) to come up with factual justification.
On the flip side, she failed the DC bar exam, she was bamboozled by Bill (or so she would have us believe) about not having sex with that woman, she couldn’t find her billing records in her closet, she failed in her 1993 attempt at healthcare reform, and she has done NOTHING as a Junior Senator from New York to introduce legislation to accomplish what she claims to stand for. If her name were Hillary Johnson, she would finished below Richardson, Biden and Dodd.

Jim — please tell me what, in your understanding, the differences are between Obama and Clinton on the topics you mention above: (1) health care reform; (2) “economics” as you put it (Obama has a “solid stance”; what differentiates that stance from Hillary’s?); and (3) his “very good plan” for getting U.S. troops out of Iraq.
You’re a Republican but would like to see Obama make it, as you say, but if Clinton won you would “seriously” consider citizenship elsewhere. So obviously, there must be a very large difference between Obama’s and Clinton’s proposed policies — please spell them out for me. Thanks –

What Obama needs to do is say, “If you want to re-elect Bush…don’t elect McCain or Huckabee or Giuliani…elect Hillary because there is no difference between Bush and Clinton…both represent the same old tired divisive government where if you don’t win you damn well better make the other side lose worse than you….I know there will be times when I will be wrong..and my opposition will be right. I’ll admit when I’m wrong and bring collective minds together to make things right. This isn’t a win at all cost campaign with a false label of “change” attached to it. This is the change…change in policy, change in attitude and atmosphere….a new and better day is ahead of us..not locked up somewhere in the 1990s…”

People complain that the Clintons are too harsh, manipulative, and scandalous. Wouldnt you expect a couple to be this way after being involved with politics for 30 years? When Bill ran for president in ’92, he was perceived as the “new” and “fresh”guy in politics. The same will go for Obama. What’s worse is that we do not even have any dirt on Obama. If he gets nominated, be sure that the Republicans will eat him alive. The fact that Hillary is still standing after being scrutnized for 16 years shows how strong and determined she is.

It hasn’t really been said much yet, and probably won’t unless Hillary gets the nomination, but if she doesn, we will have had a Bush or Clinton in the Executive Brach of the government since 1981 when Ronald Regan took office. I do not despise wealth, and I acknowledge the deserved rewards of hard work and discipline. But I also acknowledge another economy, a moral economy, in which our value changes every moment with the decisions we make, and the lives we lead. I yearn for a country that values this economy equally.
I’m not a democrat. I’m not a republican.

Quarterback for the Packers…
In a news conference Deanna Favre announced she will be the starting QB for the Packers this coming Sunday. Deanna asserts that she is qualified to be starting QB because she has spent the past 16 years married to Brett while he played QB for the Packers. During this period of time she became familiar with the definition of a corner blitz, and is now completely comfortable with other terminology of the Packers offense. A survey of Packers fans shows that 50% of those polled supported the move.
Does this sounds idiotic and unbelievable to you? Well, Hillary Clinton makes the same claims as to why she is qualified to be President and 50% of democrats polled agreed. She has never run a City, County, or State.
When told Hillary Clinton has experience because she has 8 years in the white house, Dick Morris stated “so has the pastry chef”.

Why is it that those who would support the Clinton’s can’t seem to be able to spell, use proper grammer, construct a coherent argument or apply logic to issues to see if their beliefs are consistent? Board after board, posting after posting…
Perhaps we will have the opportunity to witness the Clinton Machine solve all the world’s problems from the private sector! If so, I suggest they start by eliminating the NEA and find an army of individuals who are serious about EDUCATION. I hear they have enough vehicles (soon to be idle), to solve our national transportation issues (how many Toyota Prius did they use?), and they could pool their money with Gore, Edwards and Hollywood to eradicate world poverty.
It’s not as though HRC has actually led or driven legislation to address these or any other issues.

I hope that Bill Clinton is right. I hope that Hillary becomes the “comeback kid” as Bill describes. The Democrats deserve her as their nominee. Hillary’s candidacy in a general election will bring out every Republican voter who can walk and read a ballot. It also will bring out a lot of Republicans who can’t walk, but who can still vote.
The Republican nominee will cast Hillary as the greatest threat to America since Hitler in WW II and Stalin and Kruschev during the Cold War. Hillary is a stalinist, plain and simple. She will be the greatest boon to Republicans since her triangulating, philandering husband stained Monica’s infamous blue dress ten years ago.

It is unfortunate for MS. Clinton that this is no longer the 20th Century. 16 years have elapsed since Slick Willie’s 1st Presidential campaign. Talk radio and the Internet are so much more widespread and available to more and more Americans. I figured out a long time ago that there is something seriously wrong with the woman. When you see her on a TV screen, cover all but her eyes. She has a definite deranged look. That would explain a lot of her behavior: tolerating a “marriage of convenience” lo these many years, “Battles Royal” in the White House, where she threw everything that wasn’t nailed down and trying to dupe us into believing that she is too stupid to know her husband was cheating on her when all she had to do was ask the Secret Service or a member of the Park Service!
The damage done to the Presidency by her beloved Bill may never be undone – the cheapening of the Office, the damage to our national security and our international image. Osama bin Laden planned 9/11 on Clinton’s watch, even by early 1999. bin Laden considered himself a devout, pious man. Based on what the world knew about Clinton, what do you think bin Laden thought of America? I am convinced Clinton’s moral turpitude was a major factor in the attacks.

USA shows 118000 voters cast their prefence at the Iowa cacuses combined. Hillary got 747. Around one half a percentile of the total. Obviously she’s not loved in Iowa. Total dems vote of that total vote was 2501. Her two Dem oponents both recieved more of those than she did. With the money she is suppsedly to have spent there it’s time she looked for a day job !

It’s sad. You’ll pick away at certain things and brush off everything good that happened.
Bill Clinton was one of the greatest presidents we’ve had. Sorry to those who wern’t “working” when he was in office, or cared about the economy.
All you’re worried about is how Bill got a little fun from Monica.
And good for you Hillary for proving to stuck up christian garbage that emotional love dominates physical lust. Funny how monogomous relationships (1 pers for 1 person) as taught by christian mythology has a lower happiness rate than polyamorous relationships. (those who do have relationships with others than their spouses). Guess what. They don’t consider that cheating.
Your religious beliefs have no business in presidential criticism or elections. Get that garbage out.

Anybody that can’t see through Hillary

If elected PODUS even before swearing in the military would dwindle and the draft would have to return within 6 months. No person with character would serve under Hillary. NONE

Can’t Bill take her away on a long junket away from the U.S. She must

people who post comments are often very mean spirited. Guess you all just got off work. Personally, Bill Clinton was no different than any other president, probably most of them had extramarital affairs, I only wish we could go back to the time when all we had to worry about was who Bill was sleeping with. Now we worry about gas prices, national debt, the war, terrorism,,the list is never ending. I am voting for hillary.

As an Independent, I would not vote for either HRC or the Huckster, I’m actually leaning toward someone who will offer “real change” like Obama, Thompson, Duncan or Paul …. I’m tired of the usual suspects from Washington. If Biden and Dodd hadn’t dropped out, I would have given them more scrutiny, but that point is moot. If HRC and Huckabee are the only candidates available, I won’t vote!
That being said, I would like to remind many of the commentators above that there are three people who have been impeached by Congress in the history of the US. First was Andrew Johnson, War-Democrat/National Union Party; Richard Nixon, Republican Party; and Bill Clinton, Democrat Party. Of those three, only one has ever knowingly attended an “impeachment party” which was given by his wife. Guess who that was ….. if you guessed Bill Clinton, you’re right!! He and his wife, Presidential nominee-candidate Hillary Rodman Clinton, mocked the justice system and the US Constitution and threw an “in your face” impeachment party!! Even after this, Bill Clinton lost his license to practice law, because he was convicted (or about to be convicted, I don’t remember which) of lying under oath, and lying to Congress. Hillary’s responses ot Congressional inquiries were “I can’t remember/ I’m not sure/ I don’t know anything about that” never a straight answer.
The impeachment of a President of the United States is a very sobering thing …. NOT to be taken lightly, yet they treated this personal and national humiliation as a joke!! This, to me, disqualifies Hillary from holding ANY federal public office; as the oath of office promises to uphold the Constitution of the United States! Mockery of the Constitution and the Rule of Law, does NOT qualify a person for the office of President of the United States, but actually DISqualifies a person from aspirations to that office..
I have not yet decided exactly who I will vote for, if any, but it won’t be Hillary. Keep these things in mind as you offer your vote for the next President of the United States, whoever you vote for!

The ONLY reason all of us even know who

self-obsorbed pathetic little worm named
Ross Perot. He took 19-percent of the
’92 vote, enabling Billy to slip into the White House. But it was NOT because
of all his vaunted, so-called political
accumen and skills. But for Ross Perot,
Billy would be serving time for rape, and Hilly would be a mid-level staff attorney in some mid-level Little Rock law firm.
The two are the greatest snake-oil
salesmen in American history.

Looking through most of the comments here, I see the level of ‘intelligence’ that got us 3 years of the most current corrupt Bush administration.
I would not vote for Hillary if you paid me but Bush has done more than his share of damage to this country, having betrayed Evangelicals, liberals, and true conservatives in favor of oil fascism and a campaign of terorrism to keep everyone distracted from his overt crimes against the U.S. Constitution. He deserves impeachement far more than Clinton ever did.

The only thing I agree with in the above comment is I would not vote for hillary if you paid me. I am a conservative and would vote for Obama if it kept hillary out of the white house. Obama may be naive but I don’t see any corruption in his character. hillary has NO “admiration” in the international community. She was a cerimonial figure in the white house. She has NO FOREIGN POLICY EXPERIENCE! Her experience line is a SHAM.

I am a democrat and want our next president to be a democrat. Bush has done damage to this country on many levels. We need a change in Washington. Hillary is not the person that can change things. She is an old Washington insider with ties to too many lobbyists and questionable money. Why are most of their whitehouse records off limits? They need to be more open about the past. Seems like they are hiding something.
Initally, I was going to vote for her until I saw how her campaign workers played dirty tricks on Obama. Then Bill got on the campaign trail and told us how great he was. He was all I and me. He was a fairly good president but his personal life and parsing of words got to be ridiculous and embarrasing. Bill constantly seeks the limelight and that does not bode well for a Hillary presidency. I think he is hurting her campaign since he is a reminder of all the Clinton baggage and lies that the both of them brought to the Whitehouse. He seems to be seeking a third and fourth presidency for himself. Four or even 8 more years of the Clintons is just too much.
I now plan to vote for Obama. He is refreshing, honest and inspiring. There are so many people in this country that dislike Hillary that I fear that if she gets the Democratic nomination we will lose to the republicans.

Two heads are better then one (ie) the Clintons.
Look at the joke we have in the White House now running (ruining) our country. he is a complete moron, he has’nt the brains he was born with.
We need some one in charge that knows what they are doing and believe me its not a Republican.

I am not the most politically astute person to come down the pike but why in the H— would anyone vote for Obama or Hillary Clinton? One is a consumate liar and the other has political and religious ties to one of the most radical black “preachers” in the country. We are heading for disaster in this country. There is not one politician running, Democrat or Republican that has the moral fiber to occupy the Oval office. The one sitting in office now lost all credibility with the American people when he put his global asperations before the good of the people. The American people need to wake up and take the country back from all the self centered, lying, money grubbing, tax imposing, freedom restricting thieves in the halls of Congress. They laugh at us behind closed doors, and we prove our ignorance by constantly wallowing in our apathetic state, waiting for the government to take care of our every need. We have lost all control to govern ourselves—the very things we fought for against the British.

Bill is only campaigning for Hillary so he can get the house in Chapaqua to himself. It would be ironic, should Hillary be elected, that she would work in the Oval Office where Bill was getting ### on Easter Sunday while the family was upstairs.

I am an undecided Democrat. I will be I staying undecided until the National Democratic Convention picks a candidate. I just want a Democrat to win and that is ALL. Case closed.
What is astonishing after reading all of these comments is that very few of the blogs recognize the damage the Bush Administration did to the post of “President of the United States” and the damage done to our reputation around the world.
Bush CAUSED all the problems we have now. He was the DECIDER, remember? Republicans, BUSH is the one we Democrats HATE. VENOMOUS HATE doesn’t even get close, as a word, either.
So, the Iowa Causus, in which twice as many Democrats showed up to vote, indicates that we Democrats WILL WIN. Republicans know that a Democrat will win. I don’t care who the Republicans pick, that person will lose. CASE CLOSED. Get used to it…….

So let me get this right, all this critical judgement comes from the right which is the God party? Ok you Jesus freak,s , I just have one thing to say to you about that and that is God doesn,t need your kinda help. Now going neg. wasn,t that Nixon,s Ideal with a little help from Hoover ( unamerican,s including Ronald Reagan) Senator Joe put the spotlight on that. And then you thought Dem,s were soft on Defense, but Trumen cleared that up for you. Then you right wing waco,s got Kennedy killed because you thought a catholic was going to take order,s from the pope and in some quarter,s of the south like Texas they thought he was the 666 come too life because of their preachers down their at the time. Yes keep listening to those wacko,s of today their still the same.(The world coming to an end because of the middle east) I got news for you, they thought that way during WWll. and your buddy Bush might make it come to past.Talk about negative. What about this great Reagan, was he so great, He was an actor of all things that didn,t even fight in WWll he was doing movie,s on the back lots of Hollywood, he also did a T.V. show and worked for G.E. after WWll when the country was in an boom era. And somehow from this he became the great communicator, more like for bustin unions like the Airport tower controllers. Cut the social program for people who really needed them and gave tax cut to the top tier of Americans because they made him President. so please, don,t cry to me about Hillary. As for negatives, you Rep perfected this with Atwater and Grinrich. while dying Atwater admitted this was wrong, do you need reminding it was one of your own,, who only knew one way of winning by going negative, so please don,t cry to me about Hillary or Bill and his womanizing. Grinrich was doing his own thing not counting your closet Rep. Yeah that Bill guy is soooo bad, give me a brake, Why don,t you wake up and realize that the sex industry is a 4 billion dollar a year industry on the internet and it,s just not Democrats looking. So look in the mirror if you want to talk about someone,s sex life. 75% of American are divorce in this country, I will leave you to guess how many affair,s have gone on in this country not counting heft of course. So please don,t cry to me about the Slick Willie kid, those women new he had a wife, that didnt stop them. So quit blameing him for their weakness and if Hillary want,s to hang with the guy, what business is that of your,s? Ike had a little going on the side, so were all too humen aren,t we. As for the same old same old folks who deplore this Dynasty crap lets review the record it was Reagan& Bush 8yrs. Bush Sr. 4yrs. Clinton 8yrs. and bush jr. 8yrs. with a little help from the Supreme Ct. that,s a grand total Rep.20 to Dem.8 Now I ask you who is the same old same old in this calculation. And who is the Dynasty that reaaly put this country in the condition itis in, and if you want to get down with religion which President is showing you what a born again christian can do and that Carter, the peanut farmer! Do you right winger,s get it. So please quit crying about Hillary. She can only do what she can do based on the God givin talent that she been givin. I really don,t know if she would be a good President as a women, But I know she has by the record, in all of those 35yrs. for this particular moment, has a chance to become the frist women to become President. And for all you cry babies, grow up and quit crying, you should be crying for all those guys fighting and dying for oil. NO it,s not for Freedom! And if you think it is, then look at Vietnam. I bet you thought that was about communism. Well was it? and how do you anwser those families 58000 names on that wall in Washington, by saying it was for Freedom from communism. Maybe, Maybe not! But one things for sure come Tuesday and beyond, it,s not about the candidates who choose this sort of thing it is We the people! So if it Hillary or Huckabee or Obama or McCain you better make sure you know what your talking about because the next box home might be your kid or your grandkid. SO PLEASE DON,T CRY TO ME ABOUT HILLARY!

Bushe’s second term convinced me that
Americans should not be allowed to select their leaders. After his usurpation, I would gladly have left the country and changed my citizenship. So many of these blogs reinforce my feelings. Too many ahve forgotten the good economic condition Mr. Clinton left the country in and have drunk the poison of the right to believe Bush has built a good economy. Welcome to todya’s market reports and the future deficits that will have our country owned by the Chinese and other enemy states. Bush and buddies ahve done that to us. I’ve seen ABH and I say ABR–Anybody but a Republican. As for Hick Huck, if you want to live in a country run by a church, move to Iran, and please do so before the election. We need Clinton economy and diplomatic intellect and, yes, the experience so many above have derided. Shame on any of you who think the Clintons are a bad thing.

Thank goodness for your sanity Dr. Hal Dalrymple. Either people are as stupid as I think are or the more intelligent don’t waste their time on these blogs. I felt compelled this morning to stop the major hype on Obama and the Clinton bashing. During the Clinton years people has jobs. Not just jobs but very good jobs. We also had a surplus of money in the Government. Bush has been raiding the peoples piggy bank and is borrowing away our future. Get a life people. What would be so bad about getting a two for one with the Clintons. My only issue with Obama is the pandering to the people about obtuse issues of hope and change. They don’t mean anything. Actions and direction is what is needed and you need to be able to do them. As a democrat and a Southerner I am greatly worried about the electability of a black man. This is certainly not Iowa and I want the Democrats to win. Since our choices are limited and not the greatest I am worried.

It amazes me to no end how so many people categorize “all the Republicans” or “all the Democrats” as idiots. Seems most folks are too busy thinking up their next line of hyperbole to listen to anyone who does not agree.
The speeches given by the candidates after the results in Iowa were quite revealing, IMO. But then I am just an idiot, who hasn’t made up my mind who to vote for.

Do you want to know who runs this country? If you really do perhaps you should follow the money—not George Soros, Ted Kennedy, George Bush etc., etc., etc. look to the “BIG” bankers and study the banking industry. If their man doesn’t get elected they will manipulate the economy to benefit their pocketbooks and do whatever it takes to remain in power behind the scenes. Wake up folks and smell the GARBAGE. We are all living in a society dominated by greed and power. The sorry part is most of you are drifting along oblivious to this state of affairs, just waiting for Uncle Sammy to take care of your every need. Many of you criticize the religious right, not even knowing what you are saying. There is not a one of us who is going to change the course of history. What each and everyone of us needs to do is make sure of where we stand with God——-and that is done by accepting His Son as your Savior. The rest, all the political manipulating, will come to an end, and when it does, you better be on the right side. If not, your end will be worst than anything Hillary, George, Obama, Osama, the Muslims or terrorists can inflict upon you. It is good to be concerned with the state of things but you need to know your focus should be on the One who has the power over life and death. Laugh if you want and criticize if you must, but these words are Truth and the truth will indeed set you free.

I just wanted to comment to the person above who asked for examples of Hillary’s “fluff” legislation while she has been a Senator.
She wanted to spend a million dollars on a Woodstock Museum in her state – to make sure nobody forgot about the hippies who rolled around in the mud, doing acid and listening to crappy music.
Once her ‘idea’ got out – it was laughed at and then killed.
I would certainly call her ideas “fluff” .. other than that, she has only named public buildings and offices and ‘special days’ for citizens of her state. Not one other piece of legislation can be tied to her.
If this is not true, why isnt she running on her ‘amazing record’ in the Senate.. rather than “35 years of fighting for YOU!” which really shows nothing. Being someone’s wife is NOT experience. If it were, then I should be a technology genius… like my husband.

I am pleasantly surprised that so many of you are so well informed. I guess a huge segment of the U.S. has amnesia. (Or allows the “mainstream media” to do their thinking for them.) Bill Clinton’s impeachment was not about sex. It was about SEXUAL harrassment of an underling staffer, Paula Jones. I guess many have selectively forgotten that tiny fact, and that he suborned perjury to attempt to cover it up. Clinton did not have “affairs.” He had sex acts performed on him by willing and unwilling participants. You know, kinda like prostitution?
I can remember when he first ran in ’92 telling my leftie friends – (yes, I have a FEW)- Bill Clinton is a classic “flim-flam” man. I grew up about 100 miles from where he did and know his type well. The man is sexually pathological. He was so used to charming the hicks, the uneducated blacks and illiterates of Arkansas, his skills were well-honed. The “mainstream media” loved the guy and compared him to KENNEDY – (after he DID meet JFK as a teenager!) That was his “in” to the American people. The rest is a 16 year sordid history.
No, Nixon was not impeached. That Most Hated Man in America (at one time) had the moral decency, (and savvy,)to spare the America people that nightmare and resigned. Clinton had no such compunctions. It’s “all about Bill all of the time.”
I have a young grandson that I have told the most important thing I will ever tell you is this: “Do not ever let anyone, (even me,) tell you what to think or believe – least of all the “unbiased” news media. Investigate for yourself. Inform yourself. (He has a teacher who makes them watch CNN every AM in class!)
And George Bush? I don’t know about you, but everyone I know who wants a job has one and MY town has not been attacked by Muslim terrorists in, oh, what – better than 6 years? A President’s primary JOB is to protect the nation’s security and the last time I checked, I think he has done that. Bush’s primary problem with the dim Dems is THAT HE ISN’T ONE!
Keep up the good work, folks. I look on forums like this one as modern day “town squares” where we all get our rants and try to inform each other.
Don’t worry. Someone as roundly hated as Hillary can never be elected President – (unless you can figure out a way to get the news media and the political PACs into the voting booth!) Iowa has already proven that.

This is all this country needs. The American people do not need to be lectured by one of our education system’s indoctrinators. We are not one of your college level gullible students that wants to learn about socialism/communism which is running rampant in the liberal education system of today. Thanks to PROFESSORS like you. bill clinton inherited an economy that was booming, thanks to Ronald Magnus Reagan. He tried to screw it up but the Republican Congress led by Newt Gingrich would not allow it. clinton raised taxes, the highest raise in history and the economy went in the tank at the end of his escapades. Bush inherited an economy going down the tubes, cut taxes and the economy came back and has prospered. The stock market is now in a dive thanks to the possibility that a democrat might become president. As far as your promise of moving to another country along with some of your Hollywood cronies, if Bush was elected, you are still here. What happened? Please go to your socialist utopia, leave your job of trying to indoctrinate our young people and don’t let the doorknob hit you in the rearend. Take your lovable pair of lieing crooks, the clintons, with you.

The Clinton’s arrogance is only surpassed by their galactic stupidity and insatiable appetite for human suffering. These blow-hard gas-bag liars are finally through- hopefully they will come to realize this soon and shut the hell up.

I laugh when some of you support Bill Richardson for clown. His ego and weight are so large, he won’t even need a VP, he can just divide himself in half and fill each position with a pontificating 225 pound candidate. He’s the real ’2 for 1′ in this race.

Hey Mike P,
I hope to provide an answer to your points, but first:
In English, the comma (,) is used to separate clauses and items in a list; the apostrophe (‘) is used in a contraction, or to show possessive state of nouns.
1. The Republican Party is not God’s party. I think that God is more accepted by more people in the Republican Party than the Democratic Party, I agree with you that Jesus and God don’t need people hating each other. Jesus kind of taught the opposite of that. (Good Samaritan Proverb)
2. I’m not too sure about Nixon’s “Ideals”. Do you mean going negative? If your point is that going negative is a bad thing, then why justify it? When my kids are hitting each other, using the excuse of, “the neighbor’s kids do it,” is not a winner there, nor in your post.
3. Name calling, such as with Mr. Reagan and Hoover does nothing to enhance your argument. It does, however, reveal much about you as a person.
4. What did Senator McCarthy (“Joe”, I assume) do to point out that Reagan and Hoover were UnAmerican? In fact, Senator McCarthy did name quite a few spies in the US Government. (One of many, Google “McCarthy” “Communism” “Spies” “Correct” for about 30,000 articles.
4. Trumen is a font.
5. Harry S Truman did clear that up for us. 57 years ago. If you want to use history as a way to prove your point, then may I suggest that the best party for African Americans is the Republican party? It was the first Republican president, Abraham Lincoln that issued the emancipation proclamation.
6. Please cite where Republicans killed Kennedy because of the Catholic claim. He had been in office for almost 3 years by the time he was assassinated. If it were true, it seems a bit late.
7. If the Republicans were worried about Kennedy being to liberal, take a look at his vice president. If that were true, why would they do that to get a liberal like Johnson in the White House? Kennedy was far more fiscally conservative that Johnson. (PS. Johnson was from Texas, too…)
8. The 666 claim has been used for pretty much everything that someone wants to use it for. Ronald Wilson Reagan each have 5 characters, and people thought that he was the 666.
9. Bush may make it come to past what? It seems that all of your vitriol seems to be pointed one way (towards Republicans) while you cast the same accusations on the Republicans.
10. In writing, it is good practice to put two spaces between a period and the next sentence.
11. Reagan was not God, so the capitalization of “He” is inappropriate.
12. Name the only president of the United States that was the president of a Union. I’ll give you a hint: Look at point #11.
13. When you take an oath not to strike, and you do, what should be the consequences? http://www.buyandhold.com/bh/en/education/history/2001/ronaldreagan.html
14. Which social programs were cut?
15. When you elect a president, you don’t elect a dictator. All spending bills originate in the House of Representatives (Constitution, Article 1, Section 7), so why is the President blamed or credited with the taxes and/or spending?
16. The “top tier” is very generous. I prefer to think of the top tier of Americans as all of the citizens. However, in 1980, 43.9 Million people were in the top tier that elected Mr. Reagan to office with 90.9% of the electoral votes (and all states but RI, MD, WV, GA, MN, and DC (not a state, but I threw it in there)), and in 1984, 54.5 Million (vs. 37.6 Million) of the “top tier” put Mr. Reagan in office, with 97.6% of the electoral vote (all but MN and DC voting that way)
`6. Regarding tax cuts, it seems that the Democrats in congress passed the bill, and Mr. Reagan signed it. To put it simpler, if you tell me to give Joe a dollar, and I say, “ok”, who is giving Joe the dollar, you or me?
18. They have nice furniture at Grinrich.
19. Assuming you are talking about Newt Gingrich, if it is so wrong to go negative, then why do you excuse it? Is wrong ok if you do it, but bad if I do?
20. Bill and Newt’s womanizing is both bad. One resigned, and the other didn’t. I guess it’s only hypocracy if you say something is bad, and do it. Newt, at least lost his job (voluntarily, albeit) over his womanizing. Mr. Clinton became a legend. Women still swoon over him. Just not the kind of women I want to hang around with. Well, then again, maybe I do… ;)
21. Are you having problems stopping, so you need a brake? Perhaps you wanted a break. I’m not homonymophobic…
22. $4 Billion? I’m clearly on the wrong side of this thing…
23. 75% is too high. Maybe more women need to listen to Dr. Laura..
24. For all of your justification of affairs by using Repbulicans’ affairs, does your spouse feel the same way?
25. Yes, you caught me, I don’t like the dynasty thing. I have been voting since 1988, and I would love to have a ballot that didn’t include a Bush or a Clinton. They are both disappointments.
26. If you like, by 2016, Chelsea will be 36 (she was born in 1980), and we can have another 8 years of her, just to make it fair.
27. If the Supreme Court reference was a reference to 2000 election, what did you want? It seemed that the recount would continue until Al Gore won Florida. There were plenty of recounts (I know, I lived in Florida in 2000), and they were all in favor or Mr. Bush. In the three counties where the ballots were recounted, which party were these people members of? Democrat. I do beleive they were doing their best, and yet, it still came out to be that Mr. Bush won. Fair and square. If you would like to agrue the point on the “Mr. Gore won the popular vote,” that is fine, but the popular vote doesn’t win the presidency. Changing the rules after the game begins in not very sporting, is it?
28. Mr. Carter is an excellent example of a former president with his humanitarian work. I applaud him.
29. Get what? I am still trying to understand your point. It has taken me about an hour to read your post with all of the spelling, gramatical, and inaccuracies that I failed to understand your point. So far, i have these points that have attempted to be made:
a. Hillary is ok, and is not the devil.
b. Adultery is ok, because everyone does it.
c. Bill is not the devil.
d. Adultery is not OK, because Republicans do it.
e. Reagan was a bad and evil man, bent on killing and eating babies.
All of these seem to be opinions.
30. The parable of the talents seems to disprove what you say about Hillary and her God given (not givin) talents.
31. If she becomes president, she can only be president as a woman, barring any surgery.
32. Why would anyone vote on someone based on their gonads and sexual organs?
33. I think she is only one person, so her being the first women to be president is a bit precocious.
34. Capitialization is not needed after a comma. See item in the preamble of my post.
35. I’ll give you that they are fighting for oil; economic concerns have been the cause of war for eons. Your castigation of this thought should concern you each time you turn on a light, drive a car, or ride public transportation. I do think we should be energy independant, just so we don’t have to care what people do in the middle east.
36. I agree, Viet Nam was a poorly run war. But, then again, the surge is working, isn’t it?
37. I find the irony in you telling me to know what I am talking about staggering.
38. If you are really concerned about changing things in Washington, it may be more prudent to work on the congress and the president, rather than just the president.
One other note (and I don’t know if my post wil be formatted how it was when I typed it): Please take a class on grammar, punctuation, and spelling. What you put to paper (or web) says a lot about how people perceive you. It was very hard to read your tirade, due to these shortcomings.
Also, I use words carefully, so if you don’t know what a word means, go to http://www.mw.com and put it in there.
Oh, I’m at the end… the point was to not cry to you about Hillary. OK, I got it. I didn’t do so in this post, now did I?
Have a wonderful day,
Jeff

oops, on point #8, I meant 6 characters, making the 666 thingy…
My apologies.
(It did turn out formatted quite well, though…)

I feel bad for Hillary.
I think she is someone who was once very earnest but became cynical and ruthless during an era when it seemed that’s what it took to survive politically.
Now at that she has perfected being a calculating sellout, people are in the mood again for earnestness.

Hey Jeff. “Will” is spelled with two l’s not one. This says alot about you.
Posted by: Eagle1 | January 5, 2008, 9:21 pm 9:21 pm
There are 2 things I look for in the next president: How well accepted will he or she be by world leaders and who will NOT forget the homeland issues that will protect the middle class. Obama wins on both counts.
Hillary would be laughing stock for world leaders and she’d be too busy snuggling up to corporations to do anything to put America back on track when once upon a time, corporations took care of their employees. I’d even vote for Brad Pitt over Hillary!
This isn’t China, the Clintons need to move back to Arkansas…maybe they can improve Walmart. Oh wait…with no middle class like China, people only have the money to shop at Walmart…I forgot. Those at the top and those at the bottom financially.
Only Obama and Edwards can bring both change to elite Washington, uniting average citizens back into the political process and be accepted by world leaders.
While I am a woman, I certainly can’t picture our high-level generals in the armed forces answering to Hillary! God help us if that happens.

I don’t belive on Barack Obama that he can bring cahnges to the white house. He will like an intern in the White house if we will elect him as a president. Iowa’s is not just the bases and it is a small state! Go Hillary go!!!
Posted by: James | January 6, 2008, 10:08 am 10:08 am
Hillary has very little experience in the Senate. She,too, is like an intern. There are other candidates who have MUCH more “experience” than Hillary.
However, Obama is very smart and a quick study. He will listen to those around him, but will still stand by his convictions. Hillary can be bought and doesn’t have the “smarts” to learn anything. My hopes are that Hillary comes in 4th to be honest. If she won the Democratic nomination…I’ve vote Republican in a heartbeat no matter which Republican won their party nomination.

I agree with the vast majority of commentators on this blog. I, too, am ready for a change and am hoping that Obama perseveres and ultimately wins. He may not have the most experience but he has enough brains and experience to surround himself with people who can start digging us out of the mess this country is in. HRC, on the other hand, is corrupt and power-hungry. I get a chill down my spine watching her – I truly think she would sell this country out in a second for her own personal gain. What astonishes me is that the Democratic Party has not put a stake in her heart, figuratively speaking. Do they not see that (1) this is their election to lose given the amount of disenchantment most people, democratic and republican alike, have with the current administration; and (2)so many people HATE the clintons that she is probably the republicans’ ONLY hope of winning the White House again?
I come from a family of republicans and have voted for a republican in every presidential election (I skipped 2004, though, because I just could not vote W in for a second term). That said, I’m ready for a change (Mccain and Thompson are the only 2 reps I’d consider voting for but I don’t think either of them will get the nomination). At this point, I’m for Obama. But if HRC gets the democratic nomination, I will vote for ANYONE who is running against her. Don’t the democrats realize there are many in this country who will vote AGAINST Hillary (much like many people voted AGAINST Oliver North when he ran for the Senate in Virginia)? I just don’t understand why they haven’t done everything they can to eliminate her from the race.

WAKE UP all(proud) Gas Station owners, do not let HILLARY ridicule you. Atleast you have an experience to run the business successfully, SHE CAN ONLY WISH!!!

Hillary seems to think that she’s the most qualified candidate simply because she LIVED in the White House for eight years. If that’s the standard, we should all vote for Socks or Barney!

There’s so much judgement and hatred here. It makes me feel ashamed to live in America. Vote for whomever you like. I will do the same. Be very careful with words like “Never” or “Always”. They have a way of coming back to you.

I am very happy for Hillary. If she had listened to everyone else, she would have given in. BUT – she kept going – that is the type of leader I want for my country :)

Who are all you self-proclaimed political pundits? Instead of knocking Hill and Bill, why don’t you post suggestions on what you would do if you could change the country….your comments read like you’re
filled with self-hatred and are directing it at the candidates. Get off your butts and do your part to help instead of wasting blog space with your venom

How can you guys say that Obama has no experience. That sounds so stupid. No one has the experience of being President of the U.S. And no these none driving illegal immgrants do not need to have a permit to drive. These immgrants are sucking America dry and in the mean while are own people are suffering.

Unless I miss my guess, the majority of these comments reflect the opinions of the same Simpsons-educated ‘youth’ who supported Sen. Obama in Iowa and then abandoned him in NH. Their vitriol about people and subjects that obviously far exceed their understanding is symptomatic of their inexperience, but also of the cult of negativity that is currently in fashion in the U.S. (call it ‘Howard Stern-ism’.) Folks, you ain’t ‘cool’ for making personal attacks against people whose accomplishments, and devotion to this country, far exceed that of all of you combined. Get the TV remote and computer mouse out of your hands and go out there and actively support the candidate of your choice, instead of badmouthing people who are at least actively trying to do something they believe in.
