Clinton Responds to Ads Running in Nevada
ABC News’ Eloise Harper reports: Sen. Hillary Clinton spoke to reporters about the recent television ads in Nevada that are being pushed by the group UNITE, which supports Obama and criticizes Clinton’s record on Hispanic issues.
Clinton said the ads "are shameless and offensive and untrue. You would hope that Sen. Obama had the same standards in Nevada that he had in Iowa. Obviously we’re calling on him to do that here."
Clinton also called on her Democratic rivals to denounce alleged voter intimidation that Clinton said she knew about from news reports.
"I have read of a lot of the accounts in the media, some of them blog accounts," Clinton said of the of the pressure her campaign believes union workers are receiving. "The evidence is pretty compelling."
Clinton also issued a challenge to her rivals, saying, "I am publicly calling on my opponents, as well as any unions that support them for me, to issue a statement today that makes it abundantly clear that everyone in Nevada is urged and encouraged to caucus and that we will de everything possible to protect the right to have their voice heard."
Clinton spoke to reporters in Elko, Nev. Clinton welcomed a reporter who normally doesn’t travel to the group by saying "welcome to our dysfunctional family."

CPAC: Romney Struggles to Convince Voters
Isn’t that ironic? Clinton, after having supporters sue to try to make it harder for some voters to participate in the caucuses is now calling on all candidates to encourage everyone to participate and protect the right to have their voice heard. Can she really think people don’t see through this?
Axelrod had it right in a very underreported comment today: he quoted the old Lincoln comment that if rivals didn’t stop lying about him, he would have to tell the truth about them.

And we wonder why most former Bill Clinton advisors have gone to Obama or Edwards. I hope she wins so Americans can see how they f-ed up again in their choice for a leader.

Clinton’s supporters have been with her since day one and we still are. Obama made promises on national television on Tuesday to leave the race baiting behind and out of his campaign. Three days later we see this? So much for the promise for national unity and change.

So the Clintons are up in arms that Obama supporters are running an ad in Spanish that calls Hillary a “sinverguenza” (shameless).
In Spanish there is a phrase for the way the Clintons and their surrogates (read: trained seals)savage their opponents …
They “throw stones and then hide their hands.”
That in itself would qualify Hillary—who professes not only innocence but victimhood in nearly all instances—and her followers as “sinverguenzas” (shameless).
There is another Spanish phrase that comes to mind here …
“The truth hurts, but it doesn’t offend.”
Except in the case of the Clintons, they pretend that it does.

You Obama supporters want it both ways. You condemn Hillary but turn right around and use the dirty tactics you constantly say she uses. Give me a break.

Hillary cannot control supporters outside her campaign any more than Obama can. Lets remember that this particular dust up occured because supporters of hillary filed a bogus lawsuit to deny the culinary workers to vote at their workplace. These same hillary supporters were on the DNC committee who APPROVED these sites, but went downhill when Obama got the union endorsement. Of course these latino workers are mad. Especially since previously said she wanted it to be easier for these working class people to vote. Bill was outraged screaming that it gives Obama an unfair advantage. Of course there would be no problem if it was Hillary with the advantage. Why on earth would Obama condemn people who are not part of their campaign and were purposefully targeted to have their caucus sites blocked? Hillary, if you and your hubby condemned the lawsuit you might have a leg to stand on. But not only did you not condemn it, but supported it. You cannot have it both ways. UNITE has a right to stand up to this injustice.
The hypocrasy in the Clinton campaign is just amazing.

I would just like to say to ABC as well as all MSM. Don’t try to be balanced. Just tell the truth. In your zeal to be “fair” you are obscuring the truth. This is not a back and forth thing between Obama and Clinton. Obama wanted to run a clean campaign on the issues. Clinton constantly twisting and outright lying needs to be exposed. You as the 4th estate reporting on politics have the unique obligation to report the truth so the American people can really see which candidate is the best. Please report on the obvious hypocrasy when it arises.

Maybe we can have the Obama supporters stop throwing the smears long enough to discuss the facts of the article! The ad is definitely racist in tone, not factual yet Obama will not denounce them yet demands that Clinton denounce racist comments that were not racist to begin with. Obama is not immune from throwing the mud just as much as you claim of Hillary. The problem is you don’t mind him throwing it at Hillary but she can’t even mention his name without ad nauseum attacks on her and Bill’s personalities. Let’s get over this “my candidate is perfect” garbage while you blame everything on Hillary even when not involved. Give equal and fair scrutiny to ALL!
