Clinton Says She Can Control Her Husband
ABC News’ Eloise Harper Reports: Senator Hillary Clinton, in an interview with ABC News’ Cynthia McFadden for ABC News’ Nightline, was asked about President Clinton’s controversial comments about race and Senator Obama in the past weeks. Clinton apologized for her husband.
“I think whatever he said which was certainly never intended to cause any kind of offense to anyone,” Clinton said, “if it did give offenses then I take responsibility and I’m sorry about that.”
"Can you control him?" asked McFadden.
“Oh of course,” Clinton replied.
For more, watch Senator Hillary Clinton’s interview on ABC News’ Nightline tonight.

Navy SEAL Commander Advised: Get the Hell Out of the Media
Geez guys, stop beating this dead horse. MOVE ON. I know it’s hard to fathom, but the voters want to hear about the ISSUES.. not these nonsensical things like whether Hill can control Bill and whether Obama snubed Clinton. God. The news should be renamed “Politics Entertainment Tonight”.

You wouldn’t vote for someone solely because of how the media acts? Now that’s a sophisticated way to participate in our democracy.

While I certainly agree that the media spends a lot of time on non-events (e.g. “The Snub”), I think this is a point worth considering.
Because the Clinton campaign machine is so well oiled, the out of control Bill situation can come about for two reasons:
1) Hillary is unable to control her husband.
2) He was deployed strategically.
Both speak to her leadership style and abilities. Bill is definitely a Type A, intelligent, ego-centric individual. If the answer is (1), then how can Hillary control similar individuals, including Bill, in her administration? These types of people tend to end up in high-level government positions. On the other hand, if the answer is (2), how far is Hillary willing to go to win? Are we witnessing the rebirth of triangulation? Is this a good thing? Does it move our country forward?
Why did Hillary cry in NH? Did Barack snub Hillary? These are questions that don’t help our decision for who should be the next President. Examining a person’s leadership style when they are running for the highest leadership position in the nation seems salient to me.

Posted by: Iowan | January 30, 2008, 9:30 pm 9:30 pm
Yes, of course she can control her husband. Remember, she said she knew how much the Slickster loved her after the Lewinsky affair, and always loved her. So I guess she was actually controlling him when he had the affairs with Monica, Gennifer Flowers, Sally Perdue, Elizabeth Ward Gracen, etc., etc., and when he was assaulting Juanita Broderick, Paula Jones and Kathleen Willey.
Watch the Hillarybad videos on YouTube for more info. Not to mention all the other videos on YouTube documenting the mendacity of Billary.

Hillary went on at least 2 TV shows, ABC and FOX, to say her line “I held out my hand in unity ,,,,” in the hopes of getting the vote for poor little me effect that she’s good at exploiting. Sorry, many of us aren’t falling for it.
I think Obama has been quite gentlemanly towards both Clintons…they’re trying to goad him into anger..they’re doing everything they can to stick the knife in and it isn’t working and that’s what makes Bills face red and makes Hillary resort to trying to get people to feel sorry for her. These people don’t care about anything but themselves and getting more power. Interestingly, some people are now on to them, finally.
They don’t deserve to get back in the White House.

Hil will say whatever the polls dictate, and Bill is willing to take a fall for her this episode. I’m no Obama fan, but it is clear that the Clinton’s cynical style of playing the media and public opinion would be disastrous for the nation at this critical point.
Basically, if you must vote Democrat, at least don’t vote Hil. Let’s show these unprinciple, completely self-absorbed people the door.

How race and sex are used to obscure the personality and achievements of people is an important feature of American life that must be understood to be overcome.
In Obama’s campaign, it is not a creation of the media, rather, it has been manipulated by the media, particularly CNN, to encourage the American public to judge him by his race instead of the content of his character.
Recently CNN analyzed the results in South Carolina by saying that Obama was helped by Edward’s presence in the campaign because it split the white vote. To infer that white people vote for white people, even though the results in Iowa, New Hampshire, Nevada and South Carolina disproved that.
Why do they try to cast everything in black and white? Because they know that repetition of an accepted proposition will subtly prompt people to do what they’ve always done.
I am grateful for this discussion because it just my bring about the truth that will set us free and end our national division.

“Hillary says that she can control her husband.” Do tell. I haven’t seen any evidence of this so far. If Hillary Clinton is elected President of the United States, who will actually be in charge? Her? Bill? Both of them? It’s something to think about, people.
Bill Clinton had eight years to do his job. He spent the final two years of his second term trying to explain how he “didn’t have sexual relations with that woman, Ms. Lewinski”. He also spent quite a bit of time explaining why he lied under oath during a deposition given during the Paula Jones civil litigation. (If you may recall, Mr. Clinton allegedly exposed his privates to Ms. Jones while he was governor of Arkansas, and while she was an Arkansas state employee.) Bill Clinton perjured himself during the deposition by lieing about his relationship with Lewinski.
Bill’s eight year presidency was a “co-presidency” with Hillary, or so we were led to believe by the representations of the Clinton’s. We now see where that led. Hillary didn’t do a very good job controlling Bill, did she? So are we going to have another “co-presidency” where Hillary is the lead and Bill is her enabler?
I voted for Bill Clinton in 1992. But to paraphrase Hillary when she commented on her now repudiated 2002 Iraq War vote, “If I knew then what I know now, I would have voted differently.”

Reviewing Hillary’s methodical playing of the “Race card”, and “The Perpetual Victim” against Obama; and, her recent commentary on Iraq; Pakistan; Energy Policy; the need to control the American Economy from the White House (this from a woman who hasn’t managed so much as a corner vegetable stand, or for that matter her own marriage; but, of course you could count Whitewater); Illegal Immigration; Taxes; Infanticide; Massive new Government spending; Multi million $ Senate earmarks for supporters of Hillary’s Presidential campaign; Socialized medicine; and, the Clinton’s history of emasculating the military, verifies that this grievously flawed woman would be the female version of the Jimmy Carter debacle that gave us the Ayatollah Khomeini who ushered in rampant Islamic radicalism; block-long lines at our gasoline stations; a severely hollow military; and, a record Misery Index. Only much worse. Considering all of her recent gaffes, e.g. “I voted FOR IT (referring to the Bankruptcy Bill); but, I was glad to see that it didn’t pass.”, one has to wonder if excessive use of Botox has affected her mental stability. It’s no wonder that her campaign staff is shielding her from reporter and audience unscripted questions. Greg Neubeck

In fact, the two of them have made the ultimate deal for each other: we will help the other reach the top, at whatever cost personally or professionally. I want absolutely no part of this. Never did. Bill is a loose cannon during the campaign. He WILL be a loose cannon as the spouse of the president.
This is applicable, and it is important in our selection of the nominee.
I cannot and will not vote for Hillary with Bill out of control and yelling at Americans, nor wagging his finger at us, nor dividing the party, nor dividing the country.
I cannot take another 8 years of this ego mainiac dominating the news and dividing the country.
Bill’s behavior, and Hillary’s lack of control IS important during our selection and vetting process.

These journalists really need to be whipped back into the corner. Who the heck do they think they are? Did anyone ask President Clinton could he control his wife since she was constantly sticking her nose in while serving his terms in office. The feminists would hit the bloody roof. As a conservative Democrat proud of the party’s record on civil and human rights, I find prospect of the party putting Hillary Clinton up against John McCain a guarantee that many in the party will either stay at home or …
On one hand, you have a war hero/budget hawk who has been the only Republican candidate to resolutely oppose the practice of torture. McCain has also been very good on civil rights issues–he, together with Sen. Inouye of Hawaii, is a firm advocate for the rights of Native Americans, for example.
On the other hand you have Hillary, the only Democratic candidate who, until recently, supported torture (and by that name), who is an budgetary earmark queen, and whose campaign has sunk to injecting race into the primaries.
News reports suggest that Bill Clinton supports torture still (and that certainly explains the kind of campaigning he has been doing of late).
This cannot be a winning hand for the Democrats.
The Clintons want to win in the worst way; if they do, they will have.

The thought of Hillary having to worry about what Bill’s doind in his free time at the same time she runs the country is a bit frightening. She’s put up with his philandering since Arkansas because of the power it brought her. I personally think he is so narcissistic that all these rants he’s gone on have been on purpose, to sabotage her. I don’t think he wants her to win – because then he can remain superior to her – he’s been president, and the people don’t want her. I almost gag when he brags about how wonderful she is. I’ll be he wasn’t thinking about how wonderful and intelligent she was when he was fooling her with his phone calls and rendezvous with his lovers. I really don’t want someone with so little insight and discernment in to her own husbands character to be making decisions on the honesty or sincerity of the rest of the world leaders. If she can’t stand up to her own husband when he acts like a dog, how is she going to stand up to Iran or Korea? They’ll laugh in her face.

What happened here is that the Clinton campaign concluded that it would be a good tactic to suggest that a vote for HC would be tantamount to another four years of a BC presidency. It backfired – badly. Now, damage control. BC will be off the train for now, while HC rolls up enough delegates to steamroll Obama. Then she loses miserably — whether McCain, Romney, or Paul.

“She’s the most gifted person of our generation.”
“Now the fun part begins.”
“No woman is illegal.”
And yet I am surprised. Didn’t expect her to say of course she could control Bill. It just invites ridicule.
Its getting harder and harder to remember these two actually were in the White House before, as they continue to develop their traveling sideshow act. Its just the weirdest dang campaign.

As an upgrade to this and any future election. Lie detector tests with sodium pentathol should be given to ALL those seeking to be elected to the office of President of the United States of America.
Also it would seem that psychological tests would also be mandatory and in order. Then after all these tests and reports can be verified as true and correct we can begin the process of electing an experienced and honest President.

Remember this famous quote from BC: “I will not tolerate even the APPEARANCE of impropriety in my administration.”
Apparently, nothing is improper to either Bill or Hill. These 2 absolutely disgust me.
The media sycophants who have turned on their beloved CLintons are even worse. Why? Because they were willing to overlook the despicable actions of the Clintons when they were aimed at Republicans. But, now that they are using the same tactics on one of their own, Hillary and Bill get dumped like yesterday’s news. Exactly the way it should be.

Oh my gosh. A story is breaking that in the usual dimension we all lived in before this campaign season might just be fatal to the Clintons. Seems Bill was undermining U.S. policy in Central Asia while using peddling his former president influence to set up a friend as a global uranium kingpin. Then the guy gets rich, and turns around and donates over $30 million back to the Clintons.
But in our new parallel universe, it will probably be dismissed as just a bunch of reporters and editors who can’t stand the thought of a woman in charge.

The issue here is power… unbridled power. A general election victory by Senator Clinton would put almost dictorial control of the planet in the hands of the two Clintons. There is virtually nothing they might design that wouldn’t come to pass. Never before in history, since the 1930s, has there been so much power potentially vested in one or two people. Those who support another Clinton presidency have no idea what they are creating. Good intentions aside, the world would be at their mercy.

Huh? Hill and Bill get it both ways. And I thought her husband was slick. She sends Kill Bill out to play the race card, then she apologizes!
Bill paints Obama into the “black candidate” corner, forces him to go off message to respond to it all, and Hillary apologizes!
We might as well have Eisenhower apologize to the Gemans for the damage caused by Patton’s 3rd Army.
Hill got one thing right, of course they are working together.
G-d help America if they get control of this country.

Hillary said she would be able to control Bill. Right.
In Florida last night she also said she would “manage the economy.” Nobody manages the economy. The economy is a reflection of the sum of millions of people making millions of economic decisions every day here at home and around the globe. So, it’s just like controlling Bill. Impossible.
She will say anything, no matter how baseless, to get elected.

The Clintons aren’t playing the race card. The Blacks are playing the race card by voting for Obama simply for one reason he is black. This is not unification but division. It is like going back 60 years ago. The blacks want a “First Black President”.

If media is unfair to the clintons they ‘d be playing monica lewinski tapes by now.
I just love how “honesty” is not an issue to Clintn Supporters, but they like to hear “real issues” such as what she promise she will do.
Just admit that you votin for no other reason except she’s a woman.
All this “we want to hear the issues” crap is making me sick.
Of course, “Moral integrity”, “transcendance of bitter partisan politics”, “unifying people with a common purpose”, “defining a clear vision for the country” are not “real issues” to the Clinton supporters.
Jeez gimme a break, this whole thing is the biggest fairytale!!!

Guess who wrote this?
It was only after the distortions of the Clintons in South Carolina that he changed his tone and took on Hillary in a tough way in the debate there. Afterward, one of his advisers said that it was as though a dam had broken and Obama finally began using all the sharp lines against Hillary that strategists had been suggesting for months.
Why had it taken so long for Obama to push back against Hillary? “He respected her as a senator,” the adviser replied. “He even defended her privately when she cried, saying that no one knows how hard these campaigns are.”
But Obama’s outrage makes him seem a little jejune. He is surely the only person in the country who was surprised when the Clintons teamed up to dissemble and smear when confronted with an impediment to their ambitions.

You people are disgusting. Why do you hate the Clintons so much – what do you hate – did you hate the Clinton years of peace and prosperity? Do you hate strong, smart women – do you believe women should be barefoot and pregnant? If – heaven help us Obama is the nominee – you will all look like fools after the Repubs get done with him. The sad thing is – you will look like fools – but we will have another 4 years of the Repubs in the White House.

I wish that Clinton supporters who seek to defend them by comparing Clinton era with Bush’s Presidency would have some respect for logic. What with begging us to consider that no matter the scandals of Clintons, they pale in face of the Bush wrongs– NICE TRY! Bush is not running, and even if he were, we’re choosing between Clinton and Obama in our party. And if Bush is bad, Clinton with all her votes in favor of the war, the patriot act, and other carefully carved out positions, is right there in the sty with him. Clinton apologists, please get over your delusions– I will vote Republican before voting for that pair of mendacious megalomaniacs.

Aha, Barbara are you playing the gender card? So you voting for her because she’s a woman?
I don’t hate her because she’s a woman.
I hate her becuse she’s a chronic liar, who was responsible for many scandals, thousands of people lives ruined becoz of her whitewater deal, she happens to be a woman.
If she had divorced that liar Bill, I’d still have respect for her. For me to respect a woman this woman need to have self-respect.

Under different circumstances s/he might have gotten elected simply on the basis of baby boomer nostaligia.
Look over your shoulder, Billary. There’s a whole new generation here and they chomping at the bit to move forward!
I’ve never understood why women support Hillary Clinton. They’re just the lucky ones who didn’t have to work under sexual harassment… and then have the boss’ wife conduct a smear campaign on them.

Hillary isn’t running for president, she’s running for Bill’s third term. I don’t think that he would be calling the shots from behind the scenes, I think he will literally push Hillary aside and take charge. That may sound silly, but image how Bill Clinton is going to act if he gets back in the whitehouse. He isn’t going to sit back and be America’s first male “first lady”. I think that he wants to be president again so badly that he is willing to use his wife to get back in office. Her campaign is nothing but a big charade, and I think her supporters know it. This kind of plot is certainly not beneath the Clintons, very little is.

Hey,you people are so media brainwash it,s unbelievable. Let me ask you a ques. Is waterboarding torture? Some will say yes and others no! The point is people in Wash. are so distracted by the politics of self destruction that, We the People suffer from it by the cynacism of our own opinions. Hey, guess what, it,s We the People who elect them right or left. So if you really want to change D.C. change yourself, because this stuff, be it from the right or left does not address the real deal. And what is the real deal 1. Your pocketbook 2. Your family 3. your rights. When you vote, make sure they understand these positions and that your the boss not their self interest. Personally for me, what tells me that Wash. is sick, is the fact that with all these problems going on, Congress, in it,s wisdom at the height of Bushes power and the Dem,s are just as Guilty is that they voted themselves a raise of $ 4000.00 dollars, How,s that work for you the people. Well let,s see they get Govt Healthcare, their kids get to go to College, etc. etc. And oh yeah everytime it,s ready to vote on a raise they always vote yes! Now just imagine if you could do that in the workplace. It,s not just George Jr. or the Bill&Hill show! It,s time to get smart people and start looking out for yourselves from what the forefather provided us with the true power of America, the Vote. So if you want to fix or cure D.C. Vote!

Hey, if Hillary can control Bill, then how come she hasn’t “controlled” his decision to release documents showing all of her experience in the White House? Anytime she is asked questions that involve Bill having to take some action or make some decision, and to which the answers may be adverse to her, she always passes the buck to Bill, as in, “That’s my husband’s decision.” Sad . . . no spouse in a healthy marriage should be able to or even have to “control” the other person. This is one very dysfunctional couple and now, even by her own admission!

Bill is a sociopath and cannot be controlled. Hillary is the enabling wife who, rather than controlling him, keeps making excuses for why he acts as he does and why she still loves him and sticks with him. Strong woman? No, typical sick woman who should have been in therapy years ago to figure out why she stays with a man who humiliates her.

I love this country. Its not Bill or Hillary who scares me per se. Socialism scares me. We are the worlds econimic engine because we have managed to keep our top tax rates to a modest 35 percent Amisdt all the rhetoric Bill came to the middle (he had to because of the Republican Congress) on this perhaps Hillary will to?
Look for a 4 year miserable democratic admistration with a Tax Payer revolt in 2012 either way. Their ideals are admirable, but if they kill the engine they will be doing peace missions with Jimmy Carter in 4 years.
Just my guess.

If you are a Hillary supporter, I strongly suggest that you read the comments your countrymen have written here. Ninety-nine percent of the comments are not in praise of Hillary. There is a reason for that. She is not trustworthy. She is not a leader. She is thoroughly corrupt and she would be a disaster as President. Yes, the United States is ready for a woman president. But no, it is not again ready for Hillary Clinton and her husband. They had their chance as co-presidents from 1993 through 2001. The nation has had its fill of them. The comments people have made here attest to that simple fact.

Nothing that we know, or can prove about the Clintons will matter come primary time and then general election time. Hillary will win the nomination and then the presidency by playing on race, age, religion, any divisive subject she can find. The Vast Clinton Conspiracy is a ruthless, power-mongering machine, and nothing will stop their next inevitable power-grab. The good news about that ? After four years of picking our pockets and further driving our country’s good name into the dust, maybe people will wake up and throw them out of office for good. Maybe.

It requires a suspension of disbelief to think that Hillary and Bill have not completely conspired to coordinate their mud bath against Obama. Is this the sort of quarrelsome and argumentattive political climate we want for the next 8 years?
Hillary has a reputation for being polarizing and divisive and the recent joint Clinton behavior illustrates why.

Folks,
After all is said and done, imagine this…the US has the most formidable Armed Forces in the world…
Commander in Chief, Hillary Clinton???
I don’t think so! Remember, when the Clinton’s had the White House, they succeeded in cutting our forces in half.
Remember when our soldiers suffered a loss in Mogadishu,,,when they were refused the equipment they needed because it didn’t look good politically.
And don’t forget that Bill was offered Osama Bin laden on a platter by Sudan and he refused, stating recently that he didn’t think he had legal rights to accept. As for Bill, he see’s this as a shadow presidency. Unlike Hillary, who did not have a security clearance, as an ex-president, he can have one and try and keep him out of security strategy meetings..or other presidential issues. It gives me chills.

Hillary Clinton has diminished women by her actions. Her “stand by her man” comments after the Lewinsky matter broke made me sick. Had my husband done that to me, I would stand by him alright — right in front of the judge when he finalized our divorce. Now, years later she is diminishing women all the more with her having “Slick Willy” fight her battles for her and her squeezing out tears to show her “softer side.” For NOW, Hillary and her supporters to criticize Ted Kennedy for supporting Obama by saying he (Kennedy) is turning his back on women is garbage. NOW should be angry with Hillary for setting all women back!! What a disgrace. If this country elects this women then we will all be set back. The Clintons needs to “tuck tail” and go away FOR GOOD!!

She is a vile, unprincipled woman.
When one seeks power at any cost, they will destroy what they cannot have.
She will destroy the democratic party trying to win at all costs.
If (horrors) she is elected she will do away with all of that Bill of Rights and Constitution nonsense and seek to end term limits, so she can appoint herself Queen.
ABH, anybody but Hillary.
Mark my words: If she is elected, expect a military coup.

What I would like to know is where the NOW organization was when Slick Willie was doing his thing with Lewinsky. They said nothing to criticize Billy….not a word how he set woman’s rights back. How they were just sex objects for his pleasure. I wonder why…maybe they looked the other way because they saw Hillary as their best hope in getting the first woman as president. What a bunch of hypocrites!!! The American people have such short memories and they are doomed to see the same do nothing political hacks in office that do nothing but stroke the egos (among other things). Any woman that supports Hillary should look deep inside and try to understand what the real agenda is. Just look at her stump speeches and look at her face…you will see how she longs for the power and could give a rat’s ass for the real issues at hand. Bush might not be looked at as good president but he stuck by his principles and did not waver even though his approval ratings were low. What would a Clinton do? God help us all if these scum get into office. Please get over the gender and race issues and focus on what really matters. The real sad thing is that out 300 million people in this country these are the best candidates that we get to choose from (Democrats and Republicans) now that is something that we should be concerned about!!

IMHO…Barack Obama AND Michelle Obama are EQUALLY capable of running for president. Both highly intellegent individuals…where the Hill falls short of her husband’s qualifications. And consider the world has changed since Mr Bill was in…there’s no Bill Gates to turn around the economy with a technology boom which parallelled Bill’s successful term…Obama sees the world futuristically and progress forward (Obama/Paul) would be better than progress backward (Clinton/McCain).

Bill and Hillary had their turn and it’s time to move on. Putting Hillary and her “impeached” husband back in the white house will only further divide this country. They are both pathological lying sociopaths and there are MANY examples to prove this. Come on, people, open your eyes.

She couldn’t control his libido. She hasn’t been able to control his emotional rage-filled answers on the campaign trail. Exactly what is she going to control? His Fri/Sat night intern dating program?
The best commentary I’ve seen about Billary is this:
1. She is playing up the female angle. Women’s libbers, etc. are trying to get women out to vote simply because Billary is female. This is a terrible reason to vote for someone.
2. She ‘claims’ to be tough and ready to lead. We all know that if she keeps saying it, plenty of sheeple will start believing it.
3. Yet when she loses Iowa she starts crying in NH and that’s why she ‘won’ the popular vote. Even if Obama got more delegates. Why does the media then proclaim her “the comeback kid”? What a joke.
4. Lastly, when things get tough on the campaign trail, she brings her husband out and let’s him play bad cop to her good cop.
So, are we to believe that she’s a strong woman ready to lead? Or just some whining little twit who has to resort to crying and her husband to get elected?
She’s a pandering tool. He’s a philandering tool.
Quite amusing actually.

To Popolop,
Hillary’s definition of “control” might be similar to that of a naval aviator landing on an aircraft carrier. It’s often called just a “controlled” crash.
In other words, you practice a lot, and you just hope nothing really bad happens when you land (see Bimbo eruption). In her case, practice makes perfect.

Does Hillary realize she isn’t the reason people are voting for her? Has she come to the realization people are supporting her because of Bill? Like him or not, he is smooth, smart, charasmatic and a great public speaker. Without him, Hillary wouldn’t stand a chance in this race since her ‘experience’ is basically a created job as she set up shop in New York to slide into that senate seat.
People are wanting Bill to be back in the White House since he was there during the internet boom and good economy. Unfortunately, when it boils down to voting for President, folks won’t see Bill’s name on the ballot and at some point Hillary will have to back up her double-talk. The fact is, she can’t since her track record is poc-marked with subversive and strange results.

This is the most duplicit and corrupt couple of modern couple of modern times. If I could reverse my two votes for Bill I would in a HEART BEAT.
I won’t make the same mistake twice, especially now that what know what type of people they really are deep down inside.
Sure they’ve thrown the people a few crumbs to make it appears as if they’ve done something special. But, in reality it is for their own political gain that they’ve done those things. I see no real or geniune concern in either one of them.
As far as the 90′s it’s dead. Besides, with: a decreasing dollar, debt, war spending, rising un-employment, housing crisis yet to hit, etc. there is no way on earth the econ. picture of the 90′s can be modeled today – not unless there are tons of new businesses open up, new money making schemes hit the market, new inventions, etc. take place and grow the economy. If none of those things occur, there is NOTHING Hillary will be able to produce other than will turn the market around anytime soon.
In fact, the only thing I think she will produce – more like increase – is searing hate from her opponents. If that happens, the Dems can forget winning any elections for a long time. The mark or presence of ANY Clinton is deadly to this country.
As for the article: I highly doubt she can control her husband. I think she can if he lets her! Otherwise, Bill is one of those that does what he wants regardless of the acts, players, or consequences involved – we’ve seen this time and again.

This is for the idiots that think Hillary can control her husband, or anything else. She had to hire a women to keep the floozies of of Bill when he was Pres. Bill gave her the nickname of Mother Superior. That says a lot about Hillary right there. She should have divorced him but she has no morals. Thats why they make such a great pair.

Bill Clinton can not be controlled by anyone. When he was president he tackled Dick Morris in the White House and was about to punch him when secret service pulled him off. This is confirmed in Morris’ book “Because He Could” and in George Stepanopolous’ book also. If this is how Bill treats a friend of 20+ years what makes you think he cares about anyone but himself?

Bottom line: Hillary comes with a lot of baggage in the form of her husband. He’s not going away and she’s not holding his leash.
She stood by him when he lied to all of us during his impeachment trial because he couldn’t give a straight answer. She never showed the courage to speak the truth;similar to a parent who denies their child is a criminal and helps cover up their crimes. During the trial, she was already making plans for her attempt at the presidency.
Her actions clearly demonstrate the maxim, “The end justifies the means”. It’s all about her. We are all just a means to an end to her.

I am still patiently waiting for someone (ANYONE) to tell me what Hillary Clinton has accomplished on her own to qualify her to run our country (I know, she cares a lot, she’s smart, she has Bill to advise her, blah blah blah). Actually, the Clintons are trying to run the US as a family business, and appoint a president because of who they are related to, not because they are qualified. Who thinks this is a good idea, given their horrendous track record?

Sorry Kaye, I am a very successful 52 year old white businessman, and I remember the Clinton years very well. It is them, I became prosperous and was able to provides hundreds of less fortunate people with a very affluent lifestyle. I fully support Hillary Clinton. She lies no more that any other politician including OBama. Did I mention I was born and raised in Chicago. Are you saying OBama is clean. He is not.
You have every right to know their personal lives, and also respect them for staying together thru a difficult time in their marriage.
_______________________________________
Jay, you were prosperous because of the times–the world came into the information/technology age. It wouldn’t have mattered WHO had been president at the time. As a result of that transformation age, jobs were created in the private sector everywhere. And all those IRA investments (that came into existence in the 80′s under President Reagan)that put money back into the economy were starting to pay off big time. Do your research. In fact, I have often wondered if the economy wouldn’t have been alot more prosperous but for the failure of Clinton to lead. And to be sure, he ripped off senior citizens (like my widowed mother who is on a fixed income) by taxing their social security–thereby taking money OUT of the economy to give to government.
Again, do your research.

Would our millitray be stronger? Would we have higher taxes . Would her goverment paid healthcare include illegals and all their relatives? Would you stop the illegals from draining all our social services to educate, house, feed , all of them? Will bill allow all your records be open to the public so we can see for ourselves what your record has been on issues? The Snubb ?? Sen.Obama has too much class as a gentleman to act so childish. The Clintons are the smartest married couple in the history of this country and I will be proud to vote them back into the White House. Hillary deserves to be president because she’s sharp, driven, cool headed, and an excellent communicator. The fact that the republicans absolutely hate her is a testimony of her strength. Bill, for all his human faults, is a great leader and diplomat. The US needs the Clintons. McCain is a good man and a National hero and I respect him- but nobody should walk into the White House at 71 years old and expect to face the pace of issues effectively. Obama is a good man also, but I don’t understand how he and his wife can attack the Clintons (didn’t she make a crack about how Hillary can’t run the White House because she can’t keep her own house in order???)- this is a COMPETITION people- these people are CAMPAIGNING for the office of US President, they’re supposed to take off the gloves and fight. Obama will pick up the idealist vote – but he needs to fight a little harder and get a little more seasoned before I trust him behind the desk.
Let’s elect this highly intelligent person who has worked their entire life to be a great student, a leader, a contributor, a visionary, and a hard worker. Man or woman- Hillary deserves the job.

I agree that reporting the Clinton control factor isn’t important enough to justify any media coverage. What is important though is Hillary trying to convince us that she can control him. If her “control” response is accurate, she had more control within Slick’s administration than we were led to believe. She constantly claims to be an experienced and a change agent. She can’t have it both ways unless she’s now trying to convince us she’s wants change of the administration (Slick’s) she had significant control in.

Dream or Nightmare?
I had the strangest dream. It was so real, so life-like and so vivid I woke up in a cold sweat. Let me describe it to you briefly…
1. Hillary wins the Democratic Party nomination for President of the United States
2. Naturally, she wants to choose as her running mate someone with a lot of knowledge and experience in government and foreign affairs, someone who is a seasoned campaigner who could bring a lot of strength to the ticket. Who better than Bill, her husband?!!!
3. Hill and Bill go on to win the election in November and the Democrats maintain control of the House and the Senate.
4. Hillary is sworn in as President on January 20, 2009. The next day, after all the inauguration parties are over, she calls a press conference to make an announcement: she is resigning as President!!! Bill, as the Vice President, immediately becomes President!!! This is all perfectly legal under the 22nd Amendment to the Constitution, for it states that “no person may be elected as president more than twice”.
Bill is not being elected for a third term but is merely serving out the remainder of Hillary’s term—all 4 years of it.
5. But wait! There’s more! The following day Bill calls a press conference to make an announcement. He has chosen someone to fill the now-vacant office of Vice President. Guess who he picks? Why, Hillary, of course!!!

Today in Denver, Bill announced that we’re going to have to slow down the economy so that we can save the planet. If Hillary knows what’s good for her, she’ll get that kind of talk under control STAT.

It’s fascinating to see liberals turnon the Clinton’s after tirelessly defending them for so long. As soon as something a little more attractive comes along it’s bye-bye Bill. The conclusion I reach is that liberals don’t really have core values or commitments, other than to the democrat party. As long as it’s your guy, everything is good. No wonder our culture is collapsing.

No matter how much sugar coating goes on the “Clinton Cake”, its still “Buy One You Get Two”!

Sorry Ross, you get three. They are already grooming Chelsea for the New York seat and President after she serves one term in the Senate.
PS: Isn’t it about time to talk about the Vincent Foster affair? All the botched up evidence and how it was either lost or misplaced. And the 64,000 dollar question….what does Hillary know that we only suspect?

We have been treating politics as we treat sports in our society IE how well one team can control the line of scrimage and who do we like because of appearance or personality.
We might spend more time investigating the players and their true abilities and agenda. Perhaps then there MIGHT possibly be someone who cares about us the people who really make this country what it is instead of those in power who make it what they want it to be.

All voters should read “Hell to Pay” by the late Barbara Olsen. It’s all about Hillary, her enabling of Bill’s pecadillos from the time they lived together in college through Arkansas to the White House. Her study of Communism under Alinsky and her mean disposition.
This woman would be as big a disaster as John McCain or Barak Obama.

She can’t even control Slick Willie’s willie. How can she claim to control tnyhing of substance? She is pathetic. A nobody.

She can’t control Bill and has no respect for marriage and shows little respect for working women that were abused by sexual harassment she knew about. If she cannot control Bill and has no respect for people I cannot see how she can get anything done as President.

Hillary’s supporters need to do research on this manipulative liar; they need to read books and learn the facts about her vile treatment of subordinates, dating back to her Arkansas days. Are they aware of her secretive ploys to keep the public from public records and her amazing investment skills that would put Warren Buffet to shame? She surely must share a few genes with George W. Bush in that neither can admit making a mistake. Her
pathetic response in the Jan. 31 debate about her Iraq vote was the biggest double talk of any candidate. Watch the body language–the fake smile, especially when she’s uncomforable, the hideous cackling laugh that she can’t suppress, the daggers in the eyes directed to her opponents. Hillary fans, wake up! I’m older than Hillary but would consider moving to Canada is she is elected president. Pray that Dick Morris is wrong in predicting that Hillary will be elected, and she will be the worse president we ever had.

Control wild Bill??? Hillary hasn’t learned her lesson(s) yet. He will not sit by idly waiting to go to the next ground breaking ceremony or ship christening as the 1st man.
Please use some old fashioned common sense & decency when voting. Voting for someone only because they’re a woman, white, black or Chinese is in my opinion, idiotic.
I for one DO NOT want a president and a co-president. 8 years was enough for me. What we saw & heard from Bill these past 2 weeks is just the tip of the iceberg if she/he are elected. These two are so crooked they have to screw their socks on.
Hillary didn’t even respond to Obama during a debate when he asked her who has taken more money from the drug companies than anyone else. She decided to skip right over that one, but she can throw stones & large rocks at anyone else she dislikes about who they take money from. She’s sneaky enough about where her money comes from, but everyone else has to be transparent.
She lied to me & the other people of NY state in saying that she had no aspirations to be President, when her personal ‘diary’ from her younger years said otherwise. She’s been a do-nothing senator from the git go. As a resident of NY state, she’s personally lied to me twice & still wants my vote? Not a chance.

I recall during Bill Clinton’s first presidential campaign, everyone referred Hillary as “Hillary Clinton.” The day of his inauguration and throughout his presidency, she wantedto be called Hillary Rodham Clinton – with the emphasis on “Rodham.” No that she is running for president herself, she resorts to Hillary Clinton. She is a snake and a phony.

What kind of a question is that? They would never ask the equivalent question of a man–”can you control your wife?”

PEOPLE!!!
This election is about saving America from the Clintons and Bushes!
This is about the last fifty years of foreign policy!
WE need change! The kind that comes from a different source than the politics usual!
Aren’t you tired of the Dems and republicans handing off power to one another every few year, yet nothing ever really changes?
Wake UP. Yuppies and progressives! You been sold down the drain by the Clintons and Bushes. Better return to Constitutional Law and get rid of all who oppose it! BFS

Okay?? While not a Hiliary or Bill fan. You puzzle me. Why is this important? Sometimes people focus on the dumbest things.

And getting rid of those who oppose our constitution includes Obama Barack. Has anyone watched him or really listened to him? He does not have any respect for our country, and I thought that was exposed when he refused to put his hand over his heart towards our flag! If his “heart” isn’t for the USA, then he shouldn’t be the leader of our country.
