Crunch Time for Edwards

ABC News’ Raelyn Johnson Reports:  Democratic presidential hopeful John Edwards greeted supporters in Iowa City Thursday morning, as part of his last push before the state’s caucuses.

As he made his way through The Mill restaurant a young boy told him, "you look so cool." "You look cool too," Edwards responded.

But before he started to speak, he had one request.

"First thing I’m going to do — I’m going to call on members of my traveling press to give my speech now.

No one dared.

Edwards quickly acknowledged it was crunch time:  "This thing could be really close. We need you to make calls, talk to your friends, get everybody to the caucus, don’t be late!"

"We need you to be there on time and we need you to be present, because you are the ambassadors for the change that we’ve been fighting for — you are the agents of that change."
