Obama Gives Rezko’s Tainted Cash to Charity
After being "named" (though not by name) in a prosecution outline of the corruption case against his former fundraiser Tony Rezko, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, has announced that he would give to charity $40,350 from past political contributions from individuals linked to Rezko

"Recent public information has called into question contributions to the Obama campaign from a donor and fundraiser," says Obama spox Bill Burton. "Our consistent practice in these circumstances is to give the funds to charity out of an abundance of caution."

Obama have to wait until his friends gets indicted, the Feds trials get schedule and finally he was named in the outline for the case before he returned the money??? His political friends in Illinois fought hard to get this trial postponed and now is going to be an unwanted distraction to his campaign of “CHANGE.” There is nothing to change with Obama other than to change a President who can’y speaks by a new Obama that gives big speeches; other than that they both were inexperience, made big promised and brought big advisers to Washington to feel their gap of knowledge or experience, just like Obama plans to do it if he ever wins the Presidency. I still wondering why the big press not sthe blogs here but the front pages on tv and printed press haven’t scrutinize Obama more. All we hear is about how great he is; but we don’t know why is he so great? same with his change promises, what is he going to change and how?

The man-BO- has no experience in politics, his speech is only words. Put to the test of being the next President would only mean someone else would be doing the work for him. The country needs an experienced President – the service that Sen Clinton could offer Americans. Why can we Americans wake up and speak up.

Guess Obama’s just as dirty as the rest of them. He’ll fit right in at the DNC, with McCauliffe and his ilk. YUCK!

Get real – this information came out over two years ago, and he was not, nor will be, linked to any criminal activity involving Tony Rezko.
By the way, have ANY of you heard of Norman Hsu? Brought up on federal charges, donated $850,000 to Hillary Clinton’s campaigns, Hillary donated his donations to charity? Fair and balanced, people – wake up!

It is nice that Obama is donating some tainted funds but I am still waiting for our political representatives to take a more vocal stance on the reduction of global poverty during their campaigns. Just recently Obama introduced the Global Poverty Act in the Senate, but we do not hear him speak much about that type of foreign policy. According to the Borgen Project, 19 billion dollars would eliminate starvation globally.

If he knew nothing of it why did he return 11,600 in 2006 and now 40,000 he should of never accepted the 40,000 to begin with.
But nothing new for a Dem.
Samson – Hopefully soon

Obama as Democrats nominee is a train wreck! Primary voters get a reality check on this guy!

So the Republicans nominate McCain–who plays his long ago military hero-ism to the hilt and the voters contrast that image with O-B-A-M-A, eloquent speaker of high platitudes, like an info-mercial for “yes we can” and not much else to offer–and what a surprise—McCain wins. I am a life long Democrat because even with all the similarities of corruption and selfishness, the legislative record for real positive change has ALWAYS come from democrats and republicans have always RESISTED CHANGE–so democrats please don’t nominate a person destined to lose this election and thereby give us another 4 years of NONSENSE. America needs change at the federal, state and local level, but Obama has no proven track record that convinces me he is up to the challenges America faces.
