From this primary battle it has become very apparent that any lingering racism in American is on the part of blacks. Obama won Iowa, which is a white as lightbread, which shows that white American’s do not look at skin color like the Afro-American community continues to claim. On the other hand, when you look at South Carolina, and the rest of the nation, you see the black community is almost completely behind Obama. So exactly where is the racism? Not from the Clintons, nor the average white Americans. When will the black community stop pointing fingers and start admitting that racism in American is the result of black attitudes?

The problem here is that Obama is a black man whether his is White or not is erelvant in this country, because white America see color more than substance. It amazes me that so many people are having a problem with that fact that Obama is speaking of the African American community at times. Is he suppose to ignore the facts that he too experiance such racism. That this is a part of “the American way” that needs to be addressed. For the 1st time in history some our issues are being addressed and if a Black Man does address them, then who will?…. George Bush, Hillary Clinton, she cant even take care of her own “affairs”. GIVE ME A BREAK! You think that our realities should be non issues and we no more injustice.

The Clintons have intentionally distorted Barack Obama’s record on a number of issues. Example, Hillary’s recent statement she made on Meet the Press in which she said: “Sen. Obama’s chief strategist accuses me of playing a role in Benazir Bhutto’s assassination.” When in actuality David Axelrod never made such an accusation. He said former Prime Minister Bhutto’s death will ”call into issue the judgment” of ”taking the eye off the ball and making the wrong judgment in going into Iraq.” Then recently Bill Clinton completely distorted Obama’s remarks he made about Reagan and Republicans and twisted it to say that Obama had said no Democrats had any good ideas. And Obama’s opposition stance on the Iraq war, that he has been against from Day One, while Hillary had voted Yes. And, are these people of high principal and moral character and want to run the White House?
The American people are tired of politicians who lie and distort their opponent’s records to gain the edge. Our politicians should be held to a higher standard. We should have politicians who are honest and above tactics that are unethical, irresponsible, misleading and dishonest — who lack principals and are willing to do anything to win. After all most of us teach our children to be honest, ethical and not to lie. How can we have trust in our leaders to be frank with us when they have not been honest and ethical on the campaign trail. Politicians who intentionally lie, distort and mislead are in all honesty not honorable people, and basically unethical — not the kind of people we should want to run or represent our country.
I can only hope that Barack Obama will not stoop down to their level while trying to set his record straight, which he must, against the lies and distortion their campaign are trying to get into the American psyche. These tactics are old time party politics and should be a thing of the past as we move towards the 21st Century, towards cleaner air, cleaner water, cleaner politics, towards a more holistic way of living. It is a greater duty and in the best interest of the country for Barack Obama to continue to stay positive and hopeful while attempting to bring this country together and lift it up from fear an a distrust of one another — to continue to show the American people and the world there is another way to run for office other than smear and fear. That is why Obama and Huckabee are so appealing. They are authentic and each in their own way are trying to lead the Americans away from dirty campaigning, lies and tricks. How can a country be blessed after all that ugly and dirty fighting, it can’t be. And too we have to ask ourselves as a people, why do we allow this behavior to be acceptable and reward this kind of negative behavior, when we would not accept it in ourselves.

All the candidates sp at churches to honor a preacher who went against the masses and stood for change; and changed the world in the process. That is why and how they honored him this weekend. The movement started with words, touch the hearts and minds of all, and that is what OBAMA is doing. HRC and her husband say she is an agent of change… but she says she wants to take the country back back to the 90′s… the yrs of embarrassment, lies, deceit and trickery. NO WE WANT REAL CHANGE… BILL’S ACTIONS OPENED THE WHITE HOUSE UP FOR A REPUBLICAN… HE IS RESPONSIBLE FOR 8 YRS OF BUSH. THANKS BILL… NO WE DON’T WANT YOU BACK; YOUR WIFE CAN’T MANAGE YOU AND YOUR ACTIONS, WHAT IN THE HECK WILL SHE DO WITH THE ENTIRE COUNTRY…!!!

For all the talk about Obama. Is the Clinton legacy so wonderful. All this seemingly grand notion that it was so wonderful. Ha, how quickly we forget. It was just ten years ago when then President Clinton tore this Country’s moral standing to shreds. Oral sex in the White House of the United States of America. Lying to Congress about it. Yeah,I’m for Obama. But I’d vote for McCain before Hillary.Are we so forgetful? OK not Obama. But listen to Bill these days. Did Former President Bush (I’m a democrat)go around bashing, lying, lowering the honor and prestige of the former presidency. These guys will say or do anything to win. If my choises are Hillary and Romney, I’m sayin home!!!!

I often keep hearing about Obama and Rezko this, Obama and smack that. Has everyone forgotten that Mrs. Clinton was deeply involved in the Whitewater investment scandal and that Bill (who I do respect by the way) smoked but didn’t inhale a pernicious weed? I think the one sided scrutiny of Obama in this primary is something that will come back to haunt both Hillary and the Democrats if such attacks continue to be launched.

I’m an Obama supporter and I understand he’s not perfect. But I want to say that I wish the supporters of Mrs. Clinton well. I know many people are passionate about her and who am I to say they’re wrong? I will, say, though that no politician has inspired me more to try to make America better than Mr. Obama. I’m a hard-core cynic. I hope whoever wins the nomination deserves it and if it’s Mrs. Clinton I won’t be a divider in the party. I want America to be a better place.
