ABC News’ Z. Byron Wolf Reports: While having an impromptu news conference, Republican presidential candidate former Gov, Mitt Romney, R-Mass., stood in front of some steps in the lobby of the Radisson hotel in Manchester, New Hampshire amid an amoeba of reporters.
Just then, who should walk down the steps at that moment but long-shot presidential candidate Ron Paul. The Republican congressman from Texas paused on the steps as Romney tried to squeeze out the front door.
Somebody in the lobby shouted: "Ron Paul!" but random shouts of "Ron Paul!" go off like firecrackers on the Fourth of July in New Hampshire and nobody in the Romney group looked up — including Romney. In fact, Romney did not appear to notice Paul coming up behind him at all.
A little real-life symbolism?
