Rudy and Judith Thank Reporters With Thoughts on January 29
ABC News’ Jan Simmonds reports: Rudy Giuliani made another impromptu visit to his press bus today, thanking the reporters for joining them for stops throughout the east coast of Florida.
The former New York City mayor, with wife Judith behind him, walked up and down the aisle, shaking hands and thanking reporters, personally.
"Thanks for being here, and thanks for everything," noted Mrs. Giuliani, in a rare engagement with the press. "I’m sure it’s not easy for you guys, either."
After making small talk, WABC television’s Dave Evans asked the presidential candidate whether he thought early voting in Florida would help him.
“We believe so. We have been campaigning here, you know, from the day early voting began,” said Giuliani. “In fact, I think we started when the absentee voting was going on, so we were encouraging people to vote. We tried to be in the critical places where we thought we would get the best votes, the best early votes, so, we’ll see. We’ll see if that doesn’t help us.”
Down in the most recent polls in Florida, the campaign is hoping that their efforts to get people to the polls early will make the difference.
Looking ahead, Giuliani was also asked what Florida means to his hopes for “Super Duper Tuesday” on Feb. 5.
“We’re not thinking about February 5th — we’re thinking about January 29th. That’s our day, January 29th. A big day, and we’re gonna win,” he said, remaining outwardly confident in these last hours.

Obama Backs Off Birth Control Battle?
Rudy Giuliani put all of his eggs in the Florida primary basket. If all of his eggs don’t hatch and he comes up short, it’s over. I don’t think this is a good idea, because while he was in Florida, all of the other candidates were in the national public eye. That is why he was thanking reporters for helping him to get into the nation’s eye. This is what the early primaries do for a candidate, good or bad.

Rudy, do you know what it’s like to die of mesothelioma?
Do the right thing. Stop wasting those millions profiteered from 9/11. Give them to the firefighters, the responders and their families.

They’re blaming Rudy for bad radios and giving the terrorists a pass…….wake up! the terrorists killed the people on 9/11 not Rudy. All of these Rudy attacks are unfair and immoral.
