Dream Weaver

Statement from John Weaver, former top McCain aide:

"The New York Times asked for a formal interview and I said no and asked for written questions. The Times knew of my meeting with Ms. Iseman, from sources they didn’t identify to me, and asked me about that meeting. I did not inform Senator McCain that I asked for a meeting with Ms. Iseman.

"Her comments, which had gotten back to some of us, that she had strong ties to the Commerce Committee and his staff were wrong and harmful and I so informed her and asked her to stop with these comments and to not be involved in the campaign. Nothing more and nothing less.

"I responded to the Times on the record about a meeting they already knew about. The campaign received a copy of my response to the Times the same day, which was in late December.

"From the day I first approached John about running for President in 1997 and through today, I have always wanted John to be president. The country needs him at this perilous time. From the moment I left the campaign until today, not one day — not one — has gone by that I haven’t reactively or pro-actively talked with the campaign leadership, with state leadership about how the campaign and how to win. To suggest anything else is wrong, a lie and meant to do nothing but harm."

Can the NYT also find out why Princeton is hiding Michelle Obama’s until November 5th?

I guess the real issue is who pushed this non-story from the start.
Was it HRC or Romney, or was it both?

You know I don’t see how the stars could line up more perfectly for Obama. The Fidel Castro story dominates the news the day after both his and Michelle’s lack of good judgement episodes right up to the election returns and right on it’s heels comes the NY Times story on McCain. Some say its destiny. Maybe.
I don’t suppose it would be right for Cindy McCain to ask now, since of course, she may fall into the same grouping of Hillary “if you can’t run your own house you can’t run the white house.”
But the question still begs to be asked -
what part of “for the first time in my adult life I am proud of my country” do you not understand?

I fail to see how this was the work of Hillary or Romney. This appears to be the work of the media since they are the ones who sat on the story and didn’t release it until this moment. You only need to look at who benefits and that is Obama! The presidential candidate the media has chosen. Now for the general election, which canidate does the media want…….not looking good for McCain.

Fidel sees the ascent of Comrade Barack as guarantee he will pass away from natural causes. After playing roulette with the lives of every living being on the planet in 1962,he sought to foment discord throughout the Americas and Africa. He approved the safe passage through Cuban airspace for Medellin cocaine on its way north to the United States ,some of which probably going up young Baracks’ nose.
