Huckabee’s Modest Homecoming
EmailABC News’ Kevin Chupka Reports: Mike Huckabee is a small town boy that made it big in Arkansas. Arkansas’ current favorite son returned to his home state for his first campaign event here in months to find a surprisingly small crowd.
The former governor stopped into a large airplane hangar in Bentonville, Arkansas but only about 175 supporters showed up. Huckabee, however didn’t let it rattle him. He played right into the hands of the hometown crowd referencing his Razorback pride and even risking what he referred to as "my Howard Dean moment" by yelling the Razorback battle cry "WOO PIG SUEY."
The meat of his stump speech didn’t change too much here in the Natural State but he did tend to stress his record as governor for the people it most impacted.
"Every year I was governor we balanced the budget. That’s something that hasn’t been done in Washington in so long that now your grandchildren owe 9 trillion dollars."
Huckabee will be back in Arkansas Monday for events in Texarkana and Little Rock. Perhaps today was just an Arkansas warm-up for surely the former governor must expect a bit more from supporters here at home.

Our grassroots organization is HUGE! We understand that the biased media has all but blocked out HUCKABEE’s message! But we’re here to tell you..HUCKABEE is the only candidate with any credibility! He embodies what a presidential candidate SHOULD have: He has class; He is the best communicator; He is a true representative of ALL people; He’s compassionate; He’s keen and he is honest! I SUPPORT MIKE HUCKABEE and will do so all the way to the WHite House!

The media has blocked alot, I urge anyone who has not read the fact on Mike Huckabee to do so. If you care about this country, freedom, and keeping it alive, you are asking for disaster if you do not investigate this candidate. Your opinions are valued and surely you can disagree but at least know what your dissing. Read it and you will see genuine true American ways,period. Let us get back to what built this country to keep it alive.
