No wonder he’s the Democrats favorite “Republican.”

I still find this very intriguing! The NY Times publishes this story without any specific accusation by an individual, only innuendo and rumor. And the news media has spent the last three days hashing and rehasing this non-story. Yet the NY Times and the mainstream media still ignores both the specific claim by an individual against Sen. Obama and the lawsuit filed against Sen. Clinton and her 2000 Senate Campaign. The double standard is certainly alive and well!

The NYT story benefits only one person and that is McCain. I would venture to bet dollars to doughnuts that the McCain machine has it’s fingeprints all over this story. It is the only way he could get the conservatives to back him. He once again is playing the victim. Now the conservative talking heads are up in arms against this liberal reporting that is smearing the good name of John McCain the conservative. Last week the conservatives thought McCain was Satan’s child now they have annointed him their savior. I will have to give it to John McCain , this was a great political strategy. The neo cons have done just what he wanted them to do.

Sen. McCain did exactly what I suspected that he would do: deny, deny, deny, even without using plausible deniability. This incident, plus his history in the savings and loan scandals in the late 1980′s-early 1990′s raise serious questions about his judgment, if not his character.
