Hey Sad State of Affairs…you mean after the primary is re run since Hillary was the only coward who agreed to NOT campagine in those states and she was the ONLY one on the ballot in MI? Yep thats a sure fire way to steal an election and rob the American people of their right to choose.

tv — A million votes difference is not “almost tied.” As for Florida and Michigan, the DNC declared no delegates would be elected in those primaries, and candidates made strategic decisons based on that declaration. The outcome of the presidential race cannot be determined by those states, without destroying the integrity and credibility of the nomination process.

OBAMA 08 is the battle cry of those who want change and are tired of almost 30 freeking years of Bush/Clinton! I think it is very important to clarify what is plagiarism. “Hello”, “Good morning” or “shame on you” is NOT plagiarism. Plagiarism happens when someone tries to make a point, an argument or statement by copying what have been stated by others without citing the resources in a passage. Senator Obama has correctly admitted he committed plagiarism without giving credit to governor Deval Patrick. Case closed. It is true that we have a finite number of words in English language. But there can be infinite number of combinations of words or constructions to make sentences or paragraphs powerful or meaningless. Be yourself by using your own words not copying others.

What makes Obama wrong does not make Hillary right and vice versa. There is a morale standard here. It is very courageous for Obama to admit he is wrong using “patented” expression without citation. But the spin afterwards is less genuine. Try this with your professor and tell him/her that your classmates gave you the permission to copy paragraphs from his/her term paper for the assignment. Perhaps you can try to use the same logic to justify plagarism. Curious about the outcome of that argument.

Where does the speech writer place in all of this? Seems the candidates are using writers’ words and taking them as their own.
To be silly and follow on the academic example what would happen if your professor found out you were paying somebody to write your papers?

Hopefully all these votes will go to McCain if Obama is the candidate. For these were votes against Obama….Screw the democratic party at this point…They have screwed all of us who have stayed with them for many lost national elections…We took a chance on Carter and that got us in more turmoil and only 4 years….Here we go again!!

The whole plagiarism business started by Hillary shows either she doesn’t understand how politics (and perhaps the world at large too) works or she counts on us not to understand. Not good.
Despite the fact that sometimes Obama appears to do similar things as Clinton, he clearly does them without those two effects. I have yet to be given cause to doubt he understands how politics (and the world) works. I have yet to see him counting on us being clueless too. In fact, if anything, I see him encouraging more understanding, not less.
That makes a big difference.
