As an African American woman I continue to be baffled when we are questioned because we support Barack Obama because he is Black. It is not just the color of his skin, but what it really means when we say we support an African American. As with any culture there are differing values,ideas, experiences, thoughts, life styles, and traditions that are unique. When one talks about the value of diversity this is what is meant. So to support an African American means that after years(since George Washington)of domination by only one race/culture in the highest office in the U.S. we (all people)will finally be able to participate in a democracy that is being shaped and embraced by more than just white men. Has it ever occurred to the U.S. that perhaps the reason we continue to be concerned about our security, terrorists, and enemies is because the same domination that white men have perpetuated for centuries to people of color in this country is not welcomed by people of color in other countries? The same heavy hand that has been used to suppress ethnic minorities in this country is not working in other parts of the world. Most of the countries we consider enemies are governed by people of color. It has been 40 years since the assisination of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. 2008 will be a very defining moment in history to see just how far this country has come in race relations.

I read today that Rev. Farraken endoreses Oboma, and that makes me wonder how anyone could not see who the racist really is!!!! It is not Clinton or McCain thats for sure. Oboma is a smart man I’ll give him that, Use the white race to destroy the white race.

Obama won the Hispanic votes in Virginia, Misouri, illinois and some other states as well as tied in Maryland. This whole article is misleading.
Hispanic votes is not about race. Once they started to know senator Obama, they lean towards him. Hillary hispanic votes is as a result of a long relationship with the Hispanic communities

all of you who are singing the praises about how much they have done in the black communitites have lost your minds, name what they did. if you haven’t walked in our shoes please don’t tell us who to thank or support we are capable of deciding for ourselves based on the issues. We have read the issues and platforms and unlike yourselves we know who the best candidate is based on facts not lies that’s why we have voted for Senator Obama because he is the best candidate. Clinton both of them couldn’t organize her campaign to reflect a winner. Give it up. Vote for a better America, vote Obama

Hilary only has herself to blame for being so negative and disorganised. She was way ahead of Obama and lost it because she was DISORGANISED and is trying to win this back by being NEGATIVE. This is not about race, its about whether anyone wants a DISORGANISED and NEGATIVE president?

It certainly is time to clean up the mess in the white house but not by Obama. It will take another Clinton to do that job. Kennedy & Kerry would have to teach him the rules and regulations of politics what to do and no what to do because he does not have the integrity to make decisions on his own. If he gets elected president disaster is coming for America and it would be worse than Bush in the white house.

Demo Rules: You must be dumber than I thought. You don’s know what Obama means when he say change? Changing a white president to a black president. It doesn’t take a college student to figure that out. He certainly has this dumb generation fooled but he cannot fool me.
