And What Is Ralph Nader Up to Tonight?
ABC NEWS’ JAY SHAYLOR REPORTS:
Long-shot presidential candidate Ralph Nader and an aide came into the Amtrak Acela lounge at NYC’s Penn Station tonight, waiting to board an 8:15pm train to Washington, DC.
The aide suggested they sit in an area where CNN is on and carrying primary voting analysis and results.
Nader shook his head and indicated he wasn’t at all interested. He opted for a seat in the one corner of the room without a view of the TV.
Asked why he wasn’t watching the primary results, Nader said, "Well, they can’t be showing results yet, can they? How could they be showing results?"
Told ABC News had called Vermont for Obama and Ohio for McCain, Nader replied (smiling and somewhat sarcastically), "Well, those weren’t exactly tough calls."
Then he said, "I guess I’m only interested in the big finale… This is just a sideshow."

I normally don’t comment on this, but, uh, what is the point of this beyond unnecessary attention to Nader? You call this journalism? Wow.

I’m a die-hard Democrat and really should not like Nader, but you have to give it to the guy, he sticks to his guns and consistently stands by his principles. The Democratic party is the party of the people and Nader is definitely one of the people.

All hail the two-party state eh comrades?

Since when is it unnecessary to pay attention to someone running for President of the United States? You’d rather know what your mainstream candidate had for lunch?? Don’t shoot the messenger, this country is in dire need of election reform , and the sooner the better. Lest we have a repeat where the Supreme Court can decide the election based on who installed them into power, or the media based on who paid them the most. How naive.

“Unncessary attention to Nader” Yeah seriously, the mainstream media spends too much time talking about Ralph. Oh, wait … that’s completely wrong.

Why have none of the “Nader Haters”
questioned his platform? Why is
“Running” the only issue they raise?
The U.S. Voting system is what you
should be mad at not a Third party
candidate that wants to make America
better!!!
Remember it’s you Republicans and
Democrat voters that are supporting
the corruptive forces in Washington that
are destroying America!
What’s four years of a third party
Prez like Nader ??
If we lived thru 8 yrs with a lying
crook like Bush (and Co.)
Who knows maybe having “NEW” view
in Government just might be a good
thing!!!
REPS&DEMS have had more than 110yrs
to get it right!
So either they are too incompetent
or they don’t want to make America
better !!!!!!

Ralph Nader is the only choice if you care more for America than our political parties.

Unfortunately Nader is too idealistic and intellectually dishonest. In American politics, the rich have big clout in what philosophies appeal the most. It is ‘Macho’ culture and this is manifested in US Foreign policies.
US is still a Great Country, but hope their over self-indulgence and Go it alone will destroy its moral leadership.
Nader is someone who though unelectible is lightning rod for many ills.
Long Live US and the Founding Philosophies,
And Down with Modern NeoCons and Self-Righteous Right Wings.
