The last sentence of Article VI of the Constitution of the United States of America:
The Senators and Representatives before mentioned, and the Members of the several State Legislatures, and all executive and judicial Officers, both of the United States and of the several States, shall be bound by Oath or Affirmation, to support this Constitution; but no religious Test shall ever be required as a Qualification to any Office or public Trust under the United States.

There’s been a whole lot of activity by neo-nazis spreading this stuff about Obama being a Muslim and and an unpariotic terrorist sympathizer. It’s all over the internet and church and factory parking lots are being leafletted with it, tee shirts being sold with it. And some of it’s bringing up Charlie Manson’s vision of Helter Skelter – the impending world wide race war. I can’t understand why the media isn’t exposing these people and how dangerous it is to play with this fire.

It’s not a question of Obama being ashamed of his heritage, it’s the way his heritage is used as a weapon. After years of being told that we are at war with Islamist facism, it is an obvious attempt to stir up racism when someone uses Barack’s name and claims that he is a Muslim.

I cannot honestly see anything wrong with what she said! She was asked/baited the same ridiculous question 3 times, and she said “no” 3 times. If someone repeatedly asks me the same question, around the third time of answering it, I could definitely see saying “…as far as I know.” As far as she knows, he is not a Muslim (or an astronaut or a sushi chef, where are just as (ir)relevant); she doesn’t think he is and doesn’t have reason to believe he is.
What she SHOULD have said in response is: “What does Barack Obama’s religion have to do with my OR his qualifications to be the president of the US? Ask me about my health care plan.”

Only losers like Clinton’s hard core supporters think these snide comments would be beneficial to her. You would think there would be someone in this world who could confirm such an idiotic story.
He went to a Catholic elem school and a fine Christian prep school where he was in the jock clique. Students attended chapel there. Why would he radically convert while attending Ivy League schools thereafter? Some people are just jealous and resort to this crap…pathetic losers.

The problem is, Hillary’s history contains so many lies that it all becomes white noise. “Obviously, I wouldn’t be in this race if I didn’t care for the people of this county…” Give me a break!

I think Steve Kroft was trying to make Hillary gossip. How else can a person respond to gossip — she didn’t want to sound offensive to Steve Kroft’s intelligence. Steve Kroft should be asking personal questions of the person involved. This speaks to Steve Kroft and not Hillary. This would not be happennig if Obama had been strong enough to accept his heritage.

I am surprised that the Hillary bashers are picking up on these slim pickings. What she could have said was “Look, the rumors are not baseless and Barack has a rich heritage which includes Muslim — people want to know and Barack is the only one who can answer these questions”. Well Barack did by saying that the rumors are baseless like we are living in a different planet! I cannot understand why he is so ashamed of his heritage!
