I like Bob Barr more than any politician other than Ron Paul. But the difference is monumental. On a 1-100 scale, Ron Paul gets a 90+. Bob Barr gets a 20. The next closest crook in D.C. would get no more than a 10.
Bob Barr is no Ron Paul. He has never respected the Constitution any more an any other pol. He has no core philosophy that he uses to analyze issues, other than "I take such and such position because I, in my infinite wisdom, think its correct," at least that I can discern.
If he runs as a Lib, I'll vote for him, if I don't write in Bozo the Clown. But this Ron Paul spambot will not be working for him, or giving him money.

Bob Barr... He was in charge of Clinton's impeachment proceedings in the House, was very much in favor of the Defense of Marriage Act, and is a die-hard foe of abortion ("The flames of hedonism, the flames of self-centered morality are licking at the very foundations of our society: the family unit.")... EVEN though in 1992 he licked whipped-cream off the tatas of two strippers, probably cheated on his second wife with a lady whom became his third, and admitted that his same second wife had an abortion in 1983.
Doesn't sound hypocritical at all!

I've never heard of Bob and I'm not sure the Press can pull themselves away from fawning over Obama long enough to get to know what the guy stands for.
The race seems to be a popularity contest in the Media that has nothing to do with experience, judgment or anything like policy and issues. They, the media, have backed Obama....not everyone is so easily lead and I must say that some people like him. But that is one of the things I've noticed when asked why they want to vote for him you get responses like "he's nice" pretty much the reason a lot of people voted to G.W. Bush, he seemed affable and nice and he too had the media on his side...more so in 2000 than 2004.
Whoever wins I'll respect them as my President and hope that they'll do a good job....but I'm not naive and know what is said on the campaign trail doesn't always translate into a person's performance at President. The President isn't King or Queen, there is a thing called Congress that has a say so. I'm not sure the American people do anymore. It all seems to be twisted by the media and right now they hate everyone but Obama and his "inspirational" speeched. Anything negative that leaks out gets quickly put on the back burner.
I don't think I've ever seen the media try to have so much power or say so in who we elect though. The fawning we see over Obama can sometimes get down right embarrassing.

If Bob Barr runs, it will hurt MCCain. I don't know if Ron Paul's support came from the left. Nader is the only one I've heard of so far that can split votes from the left.

If Mr. Barr will run.. those who are already grudging democrats will vote for him as an alternative to Obama.. so Barr can sway another votes in favor of McCain that leaves us to embrace another Rep inthe White House.., all because of the folly of the DEan, kerry, and Kenneyday and some media big bosses.

Oh good heavens. You say he lied, but he admitted that it had been hard and he had slipped a few times. It is pathetic to see people have to work so hard to FIND SOMETHING.
Maybe he could make it easier on you. He could have a weekly press conference where he confesses something vile, like chewing gum in class in the third grade or not waiting 30 minutes after eating to go swimming. Then you columnists and cable news guys can rant about it all week until the next shocking confession comes out.
Get another job if this is all you can come up with during a time when Hillary STILL hasn't turned in her 2006 income tax return and thinks the flowers and little girl in Bosnia were sniper fire.
We have a war with people getting killed and maimed, people moving out of foreclosed houses, losing jobs and dignity, and you are obsessing on how someone smelled almost a year ago?
Every time I am around other people who smoke, I come home smelling like that also. What is really smelling right now is the news media who apparently don't have enough to do.
Get over it. He is going to be president, and will still try to make things better for you.

WestCoastMessaner you are right Hill will be seating in a McCain cabinet, they are very good friends, so she will let down the democratic party and join her friend. The problem will be Joe Lieberman has had a hard time with Hill and he is McCain's best friend with Lindsy Graham. So Hill may have in a McCain's militarist cabinet the office of the Bosnian Affairs with extension to Kosovo and Serbia. God bless America and God bless obama. OBAMA08
