Does Clinton Have ‘Testicular Fortitude’?
ABC News’ Eloise Harper Reports: At an event in Indiana, Sen. Hillary Clinton got a ballsy introduction by the president of the local steelworkers union who said it’s "going to take an individual with testicular fortitude" to deal with solving the nation’s problems.
While Clinton cracked a smile and then burst into laughter behind him, union leader Paul Gibson called for a president who would take a "strong, hard look" at trade and continued, "I’m tired of these Gucci wearing, latte-drinking, self-centered egotistical people that have damaged our lifestyle." He backed Clinton saying "I know the entire executive board has not made a move yet to endorse whoever in this primary, Paul Gibson is going to do it right here tonight, she’s standing right behind me.”
Clinton addressed Gibson’s racy comments – glossing over the slightly controversial part saying with a smile "I do think I have fortitude…women can have it as well as men.”
Clinton went on to address high gas prices, her plan for universal healthcare and highlighted trade issues to a very rowdy crowd of over a thousand union members.

Very funny comment and Hillary made a good comeback. Combine that with the N.C. Governor saying that Hillary makes Rocky look like a “pansy” which in no way is offensive… especially since it was made about a FICTIONAL character!!!!!
And notably, Hillary is receiving kudos for her tenacity and toughness. This is about Hillary and NOT Obama.

She has no fortitude whatsoever. She portrays herself as a fighter, but makes cameo appearances inany state she feels she has no shot in. She only “fights” in states that demographically favor her. What kind of fighter is that?

Jackt51,
I can’t believe you still have your own fortitude to come on here and pump for that wimp Obama. Can you believe he denounced Reverend Wright. Weren’t you and all your cohorts backing Obama when he said he could never denounce the man. You have to admit that Obama is a flip-flopper!

Obama flip-flopped on Reverend Wright!

Yes, where are all of those people defending Rev. Wright before Obama just threw him under the bus? I don’t see them defending the Rev anymore. Guess it’s “whatever Obama says”. NObama08

Great point Steve. I noticed the same thing. If a state’s voters don’t put a win in her column, ‘they are dead to her’. No thanks, no acknowledgement, no mention, just moving on to a the next state with favorable demographics. Whe is the last time she even mentioned hispanics since TX? Doesn’t matter to her anymore, just like Judas himself, the honorable Bill Richardson of New Mexico. She’ll throw you out with the garbage. Have another capuccino, while you think about who you’ll trounce next. Is it any wonder, why she has the highest national unfavorability ratings of any democratic nominee- ever? Wake up superdelegates- take action to save the party.

Great comments, Hillary! You do have fortitude, and we certainly need it now.
Hillary’s endurance, tenacity, moxie, and stalwart grit demonstrate unparalleled presidential strength. Her unwavering compassion, generosity, and grace (even under pressure) demonstrate presidential thoughtfulness and inclusion. She is a tour de force, and simultaneously, she’s the apogee of humanitarianism that we should all strive to achieve.

Our country is in turmoil right now & all the media seems to talk about is this mess with Rev Wright. I received a picture today where President Clinton was with the Rev. himself. Nothing has been said about that. I have been trying to figure out out to forward the email along with the pictures but I don’t know how. This is about a race for the president’s seat not about Rev. Wright. All of us in lives have been around people who said thing that we didn’t agree with, why is this case such a big issue.

Clinton in 08!
She faces things head on!
Obama hides from things until they’re at rock bottom and it’s too late.
His way to deal with an election is to send lobbys to states to block a revote.
He wants a 48 state union.

yes she does – especially when it comes to reinventing history and disclosing the truth. Her husband signed and supported nafta, and the sale of the indiana company to china; now she is opposed? her husband still supports the free trade agreement with columbia – but she opposes? and don’t forget the bosnia sniper fire. And let’s ask her about the pending clinton campaign election fraud case in which both will have to testify…

Then you will grow into maturity. I am not your master, and the media shoud not be either. Facts are stubborn things, they can only be hiiden by those who choose not to see.

Is this the same Hillary who cried because campaigning was so hard for her? Crying worked in New Hampshire, but it takes testicular fortitude to win in Indiana. Whatever the rubes want, she’ll give them.

LOL the Dems will go down in history as losing an election almost handed to them. McCain has to give Hillary a seat in his cabinet. LOL. Real men will never vote for Hillary.

We are fortunate Hillary is still in the race — hopefully those who need to will heed the wake up call and realize Sen. Obama is unelectable and nominate Sen. Clinton so we can get a CAPABLE Democrat back in the White House.

Phil Gramm, Bill Clinton, and the Sub-Prime Financial Mess
http://blog.sustainablemiddleclass.com/?p=220 Wednesday, April 16th, 2008
Listen to Michael Greenberger on NPR’s Fresh Air http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=89338743
Prof. Greenberger said that Bill Clinton approved a law that has contributed to high oil/gas prices, Enron and the subprime housing mess. Phil Gramm, John McCain’s principle economic advisor was the major force behind the bill..
Especially important was his repeatedly citing Phil Gramm as the source of the worst of the “reforms” that allowed the wholesale theft of as of yet untold tens of billions, maybe hundreds of billions. He especially mentioned removing “derivatives” from any possibility of regulation. Noting that Gramm is John McCain’s principle economic advisor is especially important this year.
Since McCain himself admits that he knows nothing about economic issues, his choice of Gramm to serve as his brain in these matters should be enough to show he’s the opposite of the reformer his media-driven mythology insists on. That white-knight role is a pose that was created for him after he got caught in the Keating scandal.
With his history, positioning the entirely tainted, ultra-sleazy, Phil Gramm as his candidate for economic Czar should be enough to kill that one off, though not in the corporate media. We’re going to have to do it outside the moldy media.

@so saddened: Because all Obama supporters are technologically inept, apparently. Seriously, where do you kids come up with this crap? Does it make you feel better after watching Obama take the Democratic lead from your candidate? At least Obama isn’t facing election fraud in court.
All candidates speak lies. The question is, who’s worse? Personally, picking between “I can’t denounce him; I am denouncing him” and potentially facing a prison sentence, I’ll take the political stance that changed due to unforeseen circumstances.
Alternatively, ignore all of the distractions and look at the policies and voting records. How about that one to protect civilians from unexploded cluster bombs? Obama voted for it, Clinton said “let them blow themselves up”, otherwise known as “Nay”. Now there’s a candidate that looks out for the innocent.
