New Clinton TV Ad Asks Who’s Tougher, Her or Obama

The ad’s called "Kitchen," but it might as well be titled "Wuss."

"It’s the toughest job in the world," it says. "You need to be ready for anything – especially now, with two wars, oil prices skyrocketing and an economy in crisis. Harry Truman said it best – if you can’t stand the heat, get out of the kitchen. Who do you think has what it takes?"

Watch it HERE

So? Who do you think?

what I think is that if HRC spent half the amount of time presenting what she would plan to do in detail instead of trying to make Obama look as bad as possible she might have a chance. Treating the electorate like a buch of 6 year olds hooked on saturday morning cartoons might make for good news coverage, but doesn’t convince me she is worth my vote.

Posted by: Louis | April 21, 2008, 11:37 am 11:37 am

Louis – why are you not asking Obama to explain his policies instead of throwing the race card.
Oh by the way tell Obama Unfortunately Pres. Bush is not on the ballot this time.

Obama could not even take the heat from the debate.

Louis: She has explained what she intends to do clearly and in far more detail than Obama.
It is your candidate and your campaign that plays the race card. That is the ONE outstanding contribution of Obama’s run for the presidency: after this cycle is over, the race card won’t be worth a deuce. Possibly unfortunately, affirmative action as a cause will also be done.
There is a cost for that strategy. The world now knows the time for it is over.

Yeah “tougher”
tough enough to promise an open ended umbrella policy for non-nuclear countries on America’s tab…
tough enough to propose that policy which inherently would force limitations on congressional oversight of a President’s ability to MASSIVELY RETALIATE…
and tough enough to already have voted to limit that congressional oversight and never apologize for it…
She is not getting questioned on the biggest policy stance of this primary. She is a not just a hawk she’s a pterydactyl.
and no one can answer what she meant at the debate the other night.
She’s tougher al right…like George Bush. “let them eat cake”…
or better yet
“let y’all eat cake” ugh.

Posted by: dl | April 21, 2008, 11:47 am 11:47 am

dl – She said we will have help form a umbrella of partners in the middle east , she never said it will be using American dollars. Already Egypt, Jordon and Israel have a pact. She would like to expand it by including other arab countries.
OBama would rather sip tea with Hamas and Iran and help them get a nuclear weapon.
Go read some history.

Suggesting that Clinton has NOT said what she is going to do is comedy. She has been talking specifics for a YEAR.
Obama has made his campaign about blanket ‘change’ and HYPE. True, he has put up specifics, but far later in the process, and 99% identical to Clinton.
Clintons biggest mistake of all was trying to talk about the issues , because nobody cared. All they cared about was the HYPE OF HOPE.
So Clinton tried tearing down the Obama myth. But only in soft ways. The press wouldnt let her. They gave Obama a MEDIA SHIELD.
Until the Wright story broke -which was broken by the republicans -specifically Shawn Hannity – Obama was almost a Jesus figure according to the CORRUPT Liberal media.
Clinton had every opportunity to knock Obama off his media induced pedestal. She and Bill tried in a watered down way, and were SAVAGELY PANNED by the media for their efforts.
Both Bill and Hillary could have broken the wright story, or any other story . They didnt because Obama is a democrat.
The republicans kept their mouth shut specifically so that Obama could crush clinton. And when it appeared that he was going to win the nomination – then they started showing the american people who he really was.
I dont think the average american really has a CLUE how manipulated they have been by the media.

Financial reports filed Sunday by the Democratic presidential candidates with the Federal Election Commission show Clinton had $10.3 million in debts at the start of the month and only about $9 million cash on hand for the primaries. Obama reported having $42 million for the primary.
Clinton’s red ink poses yet another obstacle to her campaign as she seeks to end the primary season with a string of victories. She trails Obama in delegates, states won and popular votes. And she can’t dent Obama’s superior fundraising.
The March money positioned Obama to undertake an expensive April campaign in Pennsylvania, where he has spent at least twice as much as Clinton and cut into her lead. Pennsylvania votes on Tuesday.
Clinton, who had kept pace with Obama financially throughout last year, had even less cash on hand than Republican John McCain. McCain raised $15.2 million in March and had $11.6 million in the bank at the start of April. It was his best fundraising performance of the campaign, coming after he had essentially secured his party’s presidential nomination.

Bill Clinton in 2004:
“Now one of Clinton’s Laws of Politics is this: If one candidate’s trying to scare you and the other one’s trying to get you to think; if one candidate’s appealing to your fears and the other one’s appealing to your hopes, you better vote for the person who wants you to think and hope. That’s the best.”

Posted by: Bill's Advice | April 21, 2008, 11:56 am 11:56 am

Rick
go watch her statement again
she is saying it is on America’s tab
“If they don’t persue nuclear…they will go uner the umbrella…”
You are misleading by saying that isn’t whta she was saying…everyone wants to know and her campaign manager even said he didn’t know how to answer that question. He said he can’t talk about it because he is not part of her “policy” making group.
Everyone in the news is now saying”why isn’t anyone talking about this and they turn and don’t talk about it.”
Yet they all know what she said is a massive policy difference in what she has been campaigning as.
This is neither fiscally responsible or the policy of a candidate who understands how this war is hurting us. She is saying what she needs to get elected and this IS the issue that shows she is not being up front on a major foreign policy stance.
this is cowboy foreign policy and policing the world…and the imperialist image that it creates is part of what drives the terrorists to join ranks.

SHe is actually running an ad claiming she has more experience and toughness to be President? If you cannot run a successful campaign, how can you claim the higher ground on the readiness front? Is this more of the suspension of reality by the Clinton camp? Whatever happened to the sniper fire coverage? I think that needs re-played some more.

Looking at Obama’s friendships, associations and in some cases close relationships with people like William Ayers, Mr. Wright, Farrakhan etc who publicaly maintain anti-American and racist sentiments – I do not think he CAN GET ‘TOP SECURITY CLEARANCE’. Shouldn’t that be a BASIC CRITERIA for someone who is running for ‘President’ of USA?

Retired U.S. Navy Chief Petty Officer Michael Kotyk called Clinton’s statement a whopper and said, “If she’s gonna tell stories like that is as candidate, what will she do when she’s standing in front of Congress? … How do you expect your troops to follow you if you’re not providing good leadership?”

If America is what she says she is then we will be able to shed these politicians who win with only one tactic… tearing the other down.
Not as a defense from attacks but as the only way to put themselves above the line.
That would be the Clintons … the Bush’s… the Cheney’s… the Foxnews’… the whole last two decades of people who achieved.

Frank:
This country is not about a flag pin; it’s not about a flag; it is more about a citizens right to burn that flag in protest. Anyone who thinks wearing a flag pin makes them patriotic is sick. It’s like a baby that cries, not because it hurts, but because it wants others to think it hurts. This country is about the right of a person to get up and put forth an opinion that others might totally disagree with, and you have the right to protest it . That is what America is about, that is what we should celebrate. Our military fights for our Constitutional right to burn that flag if we wish. It’s called freedom of speech. The right to express ourselves any way we wish.

Well, there is only one Presidential candidate currently making an “enemies list”. Any guess which one? It’s too obvious, isnt’t it. Forget Karl Rove, the Clinton’s have gone Nixonian. I am amazed, actually I am not. The Goldwater Girl was always a Goldwater Girl.
What Progressive change did we see in the Bill Clinton administration? They tanked health care and global warming for 20 years because of their negligence. They screwed poor families in welfare reform because they could in an expanding economy. Well guess what? The economy is not expanding anymore, so now they have a new plan?
They screwed over African-Americans by not only addressing the crack/powder federal sentencing discrepancy, but actually making it worse by expanding federal prosecutions of local drug crimes.
They called for an Anti-Crime Bill that expanded the number of offenses where the federal death penalty could be applied. They have done great harm to the progressive movement, it is just that people have forgotten.
They governed America like it was Arkansas and no one ever questioned why Arkansas is always last in every metric of development.
I cannot imagine what further havoc they would reap having a second chance at the White House. Particularly considering that $109 million comes with $109 million favors.

I love when people bring up the lapel pin. as people have discovered the other canidates don’t really wear theme ither…but all the hype.
a lapel pin (as was said on of all places, Foxnews,) is worn most by …lobbyists and others who are trying to substitute real patriotism with lapel pins… and pointing fingers and voices saying “he is unpatriotic”
simply wearing a lapel pin and pointing to someone and saying you are unpatriotic makes neither you patriotic nor the person un patriotic.
In fact it degregates both concepts.

In my most humble opinion, any person running for the Office of the President of the United States should exhibit the abilities to exercise stewardship over her or her campaign funds and resources. It appears as though Hillary is running in the red. If her campaign is running in the red, then how can she effectively exercise good stewardship over our country’s resources? For the record, my choice of a good candidate is not running in this year’s election, but ran in the 1992 election.

stella:

Obama decided to take off his lapel pin shortly after 9/11. When the country was coming together to show more patriotism with flags etc. he made that decision.
Was he influenced by Rev.Wright’s anti-American rants and his sermon about how we caused that attack? But then again Obama never heard that sermon.
It all starts to make sense.

How does someone who wept in the middle of a primary have the gall to run on toughness? I guess the same way someone who turned what should have been a cakewalk primary into a pre-civil war death-match runs on “knowing how Washington works”. The same way someone who can’t manage a primary budget of millions demands to be in charge of the budget of the United States which is just a little bit bigger. The same way someone whose Chief Strategist was whispering to other countries has the gall to Still talk about a “campaign saying one thing and doing another”.
You think being friends with someone who did bad things disqualifies someone for security clearance? Bill Clinton Pardoned members of the Weather Underground. How’s that? You think a man who spends his life helping people and is a veteran marine doesn’t have the right to curse America in the middle of a sermon about mercy than you don’t understand this country you idiot and don’t embarrass yourself by claiming to be a patriot. You want to talk about truthfulness and security clearances: Clinton made up a firefight that never happened or she imagined one and told the story as fact three times. Where do you even begin with something like that?
If you don’t want to vote for the other candidate don’t. But spare US the stupid jibes and vague insinuations. You want to sacrifice your job on the alter of Free Trade? Fine. You want to have Another stupid war and stay in this one? What can I say? But That is whats on the table. Not your six degrees of smear. And the reason Clinton has lost twice as many primaries as she’s won is everybody else knows it.

Anoter Blog idea – Global Warming Alarmism use of Bio-fuel is killing People around World -
The liberal push for Global Warming initiated since there Global Ice Age predictions failed to come true has cause countries to divert food to make fule thus putting a unneeded rise in food cost causing riots around the world.
Scientists Now warn use of bio fuel will cause more problems then oil in pollution.
People wake up before billions are killed by elitists for the ske of greed.
Read about Global 2000, it is happening as we sit back and listen to two Liberal Elitists.
Information for Global 2000 wa given to the Carter Administration in 79 calling for the genocide of up to 4 Billion people through starvation and disease, saying that the people are not needed now since roads and buildings are built.
It calls for the push of Abortions on the poor (Already happening throug Planned Parenthood which was founded by one f the elitists that started Global 2000), Starvation and Disease (just look at Africa, by the way that is where it states to begin), though Education (Global Warming, and bad education that is being given out now)
Gets you to think why no proble is solved in the Education system and Cancer is hard to cure! And why are they pushing Global Warming as man-made only in our country the most!!

The answer to the ad is: Obama
Clinton can’t run a smoothly-functioning campaign, her staff has a playground vocabulary (“copycat”?!), she has zero understanding of the world economy and taxes, she can’t tell “the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth.”
She’s better than Bush and McCain, but Obama’s by far the best candidate.

I think Hillary is far more able to handle scary, surprising, and unpleasant events occurring during a president’s tenure.
Also, it is hard to believe that a candidate who has lost New York, California, Ohio, Massachusetts, New Hampshire, Florida, Nevada, Arizona, and Texas can carry the day in November. I swallow hard when I think about that!

APPEALING TO AMERICANS’ FEARS!
Fear destroys good decision making.
Fear causes rash decisions.
This unfortunate ad of Clinton now means that BOTH Clinton and McCain would continue the self-destructive Bush policy of appealing to Americans’ fears should Americans make the grave mistake of electing either Clinton or McCain.
Instead of educating Americans to be vigilant, focus, hopeful, and resolute in our efforts to go after America’s real enemies where they are ‘nesting’ in Afghanistan and Pakistan, the Chintons are mindlessly appealing to Americans to be fearful and MAKE RASH DECISIONS AS A RESULT.
The Iraq quagmire is the DIRECT RESULT of Americans being made so fearful by their own leaders that they would initiate a WRONG & WASTEFUL WAR in Iraq!

“Michael Moore endorses Obama.”
Yeah, it’s very … Haydenesque;
“What we are witnessing is not just a candidate but a profound, massive public movement for change. My endorsement is more for Obama The Movement than it is for Obama the candidate.”
This is the veriest horsechips — and hating Hillary Clinton, which seems to be Moore’s other point, is no reason to endorse her ideological twin.
Obama’s “left” cred isn’t in evidence: he’s supposedly pro-Palestinian, but under the influence of ambition, takes time out from selling himself to all stripes by criticizing Jimmy Carter’s mideast meetings. He says nothing about poverty in the U.S., or about de-militarization.
Democrats should hold out for the nomination of John Edwards.

If she does time, the Clintonite posters can keep posting their semi-delusional comments, with the hope that Hills will burn down her party at the convention and capture the nomination.
If she does not, there’ll be no one left, other than Dead Enders, supporting Hills.

It was a great ad. It reminds the voters of their choice of choosing the right candidate to run in the white house. I don’t think Obama needs to run the negative campaing, it will hurt him in the general election if he’s a nominee. It seems he did have a lot negative tones after Wednesday debate as he uses to say his campaing based one change and hope. Voters are tired of personal attack and they need a president to focus how solve our economy instead of tearing down his own party opponent.
I used to be his supporter but I now see he is same as any old politician. I think Mcain will benefit from this and will my vote for Mcain if OB is a nominee.

Senator Hillary Rodham Clinton’s presidential campaign is continuing to struggle to stay ahead of its bills, finishing March with just $9.3 million in the bank for the primary, coupled with $10.3 million in debt, according to a report filed last night with the Federal Election Commission.
In contrast, Senator Barack Obama had amassed a $42 million war chest for the primary by the end of March and had less than $700,000 in unpaid bills.
Mrs. Clinton had ended February with $8.7 million in debt. She collected about $20 million in March but spent about $22 million, adding to her pile of unpaid invoices.
Her list of outstanding debts reads like a road map of the nominating contest schedule: $45,908 to World Audio & Lights in San Antonio; $4,600 to Studimo Sound in Motion in Ironton, Ohio; $43,484 to Endeavor Audio and Lighting Services in Dickson City, Pennsylvania. Mrs. Clinton even had outstanding debt from Iowa, the first nominating contest of the season, including $16,260 to Garner Printing in Des Moines.
In other notable debts, since January, Mrs. Clinton has owed $240,000 to Catalist, a for-profit company created by Howard Ickes, who is one of Mrs. Clinton’s top advisers, that has sold its voter files to both Senator Barack Obama’s presidential campaign and Mrs. Clinton’s.

If Hillary were an ethical person she would pay her debts. Even a slightly ethical person would peel off enough money from her campaign’s $20 million to make partial payments to help those businesses keep their noses above water!
Shame on Hillary Clinton! Her campaign is an abuse of America’s small companies… she refuses to pay their bills.

And he was noever down by 20 points on average in Penn.
His was behind by at most 13-14 percent on average.
So if she wins by more than 10% that means he has outspent her 3:1 in Pennsylvania on tv ads alone and didn’t significantly change that number.
That means he could spend 300-400 million in the fall and still not beat McCain in working class swing states, and he won’t have 300-400 milion in the fall.

By covorting with a pastor who damns America? This same pastor gives an award to Farrakhan, a total racist and anti american? His wife hates whites, and was disappointed in america for years? Obama associates with terrorists, Ayers, who planned bombing the Pentagon, the seat of our military? HOW, JACKT, HOW can you favor this Obama? We have had 8 years of “tough”. 8 years of a President who would not back down, stood his ground and would not take no for an answer. We needed “tough” questions on Iraq instead of an Authorization to go to war. America doesn’t need that kind of “tough” in the White House; especially with the reckless Middle East policy Clinton proposed during the debate. It is only being covered by some in the media, but her “nuclear umbrella” strategy makes Bush and McCain look wimpy on war…

@dem…
I read his books…why did he go to law school in the first place? Because he realized that his work as a community organizer, albeit effective, could never effect the reasons why steel plants were closing in the first place. When he returned, he went to work for a civil rights law firm and taught Constitutional Law. Has Hillary or McSame made such sacrifices? Please go read his books or do your own research…

Bloomberg is waiting in the wings for Hillary and Obama to fail, If Obama gets the democratic nomination, all the negativity about his associations with radicals will come to light. Not just associations, but actual events that will show him involved with these people.
When they see that Obama is not electible, the Democratic party will go after Bloomberg and make him their nominee.

You guys are so concerned over a handful of Obama… Wait tell you see the tons of baggage Hillary has on her that I can tell you will be brought out by McCain. Do your homework before you pass judgement on Obama…
I just watched a video of Ed Rendell lavishing praise on Louis Farrakhan and the Nation of Islam. Obama has been getting hammered for being unpatriotic so this must mean that Rendell is unpatriotic and by extension so is Clinton.
Her campaign is broke… How can she fix the country??? What am I missing here…. Not seeing it.

Now the democrat campaign season is trying to show which democrat has praised Farrakhan more. Which democrat candidate has more terrorist associations. And so on, and so on, and so on.
Thank you God. We couldn’t have planned this better ourselves. :)

Yeah: “O-Bomb-a” — that’d be wonderful.
The Democratic “leadership” cares more about maintaining their positions than about actually electing a DEMOCRATIC president.
Whatever ELSE Obama is, he’s a pig in a poke — who’s been chummy with everybody from the Weathermen to hard-right Republicans.
The Weathermen discussion will certainly smoke out a great many things, though — including how others who were close to the Weather Underground have gone about political projects great and small since.

Hamas and their “Leader” will be dancing in the streets if Obambi gets the Democratic Nomination.
Farrahkan and their supporters will be dancing in the streets if Obambi gets the Democratic Nomination.
And Obambi can thank Rezko and all his friends (AUCHI) for their support.
America has been BAMBOOZLED.
Good-Bye Israel. People should start walking to work….. cause if the price of gas is bad now….. wait til the Extremist take over the Middle East…. (actually it’ll be given over by Obambi)

“What a laugh. You know McCain’s gonna get destroyed. He can’t even keep up in money, and you know MONEY IS POWER.”
There is NO reason to believe the right will stick with McCain. It’s more likely that the Republicans will nominate somebody who ISN’T a hundred years old AND a military nut — after the Democrats settle on whatever they settle on.

Louis Farrakhan is one of most famous anti-semites in the USA.
That’s why Obama strongly objected to Trinity Church awarding Farrakhan.
Ed Rendell, Hillary Clinton’s most powerful surrogate in PA, praised Farrakhan – in his face and for a large audience – “for the intensity of his beliefs, for the decency of his soul and the strength of his courage.”
And we have that Rendell speech on video.
Now let Hillary do some talking, and Rendell some explaining.

Clinton went with the only avenue available to her – pointing out Obama’s weaknesses. Since the media has been so in the tank for Obama – Clinton has to do their work for them.
It appears that conservative commentators have a grudging respect for her tenacity and resilience.

It’s historically somewhat weird that a poster styling himself “Nat Turner” — a Weather hero, to be sure — is talking about the overthrow of cynicism, etc., through the electoral vessel of tender candidate Obama:
“Nat started with a few trusted fellow slaves. The rebels traveled from house to house, freeing slaves and killing all the white people they found.”

Governor Ed Rendell is Jewish, and in the video he is talking about “taking the steps on the long road to healing racism and hatred in this country..” Well, Farrakhan is not interested in any of that, and 15 years later Governor Rendell and the rest of the country can see what Farrakhan truly stands for. Farrakhan had everybody FOOLED back in the 1990′s, they were HOODWINKED AND BAMBOOZLED into believing that Farrakhan and Wright were working towards racial unity!!! It’s exactly what Obama is doing to us today, we’re being HOODWINKED AND BAMBOOZLED just like Gov. Rendell in the 1990′s and everybody else that buys the LIES OBAMA IS TRYING TO SELL US!! Obama is a pro-palestinian, Hamas supporting, Syria connected, friends with Khalidi and Said, Auchi and who else is there we don’t know about yet? Obama has been acting like a whiny cry baby since the debate last week, and it obvious he could never handle the pressure of being president, he’s too busy flipping Hillary the finger, calling her names, and doing Jay Z rapper dances instead of answering questions..hey, Obama blew off a reporter that tried to ask him a question today! Obama has not held a press converence since April 11! Why? Is Obama afraid he’ll be asked more questions about Ayers?? NO WIMPYBAMA 08!! NO MOVEONORG. IN THE WHITE HOUSE! well I’ve been making calls for Sen.Clinton, and the old folks get her ad-
The ad is great.
so. mr. obama has all the money
the media
the bigwigs of the dem party
especially the msm.
all pulling against her.
this is why the toughness of her had to come out.
I heard one of the talking heads say
“She sure has shown-she can take a punch and get back up.”
why has all of this toughness of Sen. Clinton been brought up.
her haters and opponents will say-it is her doing anything to try and win-some have accused her of trying to tear up the dem. party.
but everyone standing and observing-knows the media and everybody has been hammering this woman for everything.
women who have been hard done-by by men
hate her because she didn’t dump her husband.
Men hate her because they say she is to “brash” well you would never have that term labeled on a man.
amist all of this media negative stuff
chris matthews and keith olberman
(I would hate to see the women in their lives-or maybe they are the way they are because the women in their lives are small minded and petty)but I know these men must get paid bonuses from someone to know Hillary.
and still she soldiers on.
If there is anyone who has taken to heart what their mother told them as a child-about not quitting-it is Hillary.
Obama is to far to the left
mccain will keep us in war
Sen. Clinton is a moderate dem
our american country is more to the center
moderation in all things
and that is the best place to be.
The ad is great-it reminds us of the tough times we have been in and have pulled through with the right leadership
and with her leadership we will come out not just alright but better.
I believe we American people are eager
to show the world-we strayed the past 8years with you know wwwho.

The math does not favor her and it is evident that she WILL LOSE the nomination. Whether by pooular vote or supper delegate, she won’t make it. We also know that the Clinton’s strategy, “Say anything, do anything to get the nomination”. She has double standards, she said McCain has more experience suggesting Obama does not, but When Obama said the same thing, we have seen that. The more she become negative, the more we hate her. Apparently, she is the most hated politicians in the nation! What she is just giving ammunition for McBush.

Here are some Louis Farrakhan statements PRIOR to Ed Rendell passionate praise of Farrakhan on the 1997 video:
“I believe that for the small numbers of Jewish people in the United States, they exercise a tremendous amount of influence on the affairs of government…Yes, they exercise extraordinary control, and Black people will never be free in this country until they are free of that kind of control…”
Meet The Press interview, 4/14/97
“To continue to point out the truth of that control and how that control never will allow us to be full and completely men, free, justified, and equal. Why should we be controlled by the power, influence, and money of others? We should not be under that kind of control…going to Jewish philanthropists, begging them for money to support our causes, and through that money, there is control, and that kind of control limits the freedom of our people to speak freely, write freely, think freely, and act as free men…”
Meet The Press interview, 4/14/97
“And you do with me as is written, but remember that I have warned you that Allah will punish you. You are wicked deceivers of the American people. You have sucked their blood. You are not real Jews, those of you that are not real Jews. You are the synagogue of Satan, and you have wrapped your tentacles around the U.S. government, and you are deceiving and sending this nation to hell. But I warn you in the name of Allah, you would be wise to leave me alone. But if you choose to crucify me, know that Allah will crucify you.”
Saviours’ Day Speech, Chicago, 2/25/96
“I don’t own Hollywood. Who depicted Black people? Who writes the books? Who writes the plays, the songs that make us look less than human? Do you mean to tell me that Jews have never done any evil to Black people?…Were they not involved in the slave trade? Yes, they were…and to the extent that they were involved, somebody has to bring them to account. And I believe that has fallen on me.”

OB, Obama will win the big states because states such as Pennsylvania, New York, New Jersey, California, and Michigan will vote Democrat no matter who the candidate is. States such as Florida, Ohio, and Texas will be toss-ups no matter whether Clinton or Obama. What Clinton will never win and Obama might are Southern states, especially border states such as North Carolina, Tennessee, Missouri, Maryland. Living as a Connecticut Yankee in North Carolina I can attest that the Clintons are not very well liked here and that dynamic will never change…

You know it is really funny. But with both of these Democratic hopefuls, no one is really sure if they will they will actually keep their word.
At least with the republicans, we know where he stands.
Which is better for the USA?
1) A President who has clearly stated what he thinks. And also has the character to change his stance when shown he was wrong.
2) A President who has yet to show, they are making a solid stand for something. And our will to lie or forget all the facts of a event, just to get your vote.
And the funniest part of all, not one of the democrats has called McCain’s character into question. But they call each others character into question all the time. Maybe they don’t, because they know that is a fight they can not win.
The Presidency is completely about character. The person we choose represents you and me, and our beliefs and values to the world.
Drop the ball on this one folks and you can except another cigar event in the Whitehouse.
George W McBush or not, I am tired of politicians lying to me to get my vote. I think I will try something new, and vote for someone who has a clear stand one something.
Maybe the change, the US needs, is not in its people, but in the norms and values it’s president displays. Like it or not some of our greatest Presidents, had a vision and they stood by it, to the end.
I am tired of professional politicians; I want someone with character for a change.

John McCain = No chance of winning.
Equation for McCain:
Economy/Recession/Jobs + Iraq War + Incumbent Party + Lack of Money + Temper/Instability + Old Age + Lack of Media Support + Lack of Republican Base Support + Lack of Internet/College Support = Huge Loss for Republicans this November in the National Election.
I doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure this one out!

“No matter about the other crap, at least you recognize Obama will win.”
Noo. I was quoting from another poster. If the “leadership” succeeds in nominating a post-partisan pig-in-a-poke, the Green Party, Ralph Nader, and of course the Republicans, will “win”.
Whatever “win” actually means at this point, in a media-driven circus in which the over-hyped candidate of HOPE and CHANGE gives the finger (to a female candidate, for those who care about such quaint things) by way of rallying his clueless troops.
If O-Bomb-a WERE “elected” president — I sooo don’t believe this will EVER happen! — the counter-revolution would begin in about two seconds. And then there would be NO hope, because there’s a depression going on out here.
Better nominate John Edwards.

Primarily: If you had to go back all the way to 1994 to find some quotes from the Governor, that’s pretty pathetic. It’s 2008 and Jews have all gotten Farrakhan’s number – Farrakhan is on speed dial to Hamas, Hezbollah and every other Jewish hate group known. It’s hard to believe that moveonorg. and the radical left wing crazies will go after a democratic Governor the way you are, but it seems that to Radicals, every method of war is okay, even setting bombs – is that why Ayers is so beloved by all of you? Obama’s campaign is in a sad state if this is what it’s resorting to in order to get votes. What happened to talking about issues? That was so important after the debate last week? Obama Widens National Lead
By Susan Page, USA TODAY
WASHINGTON — Barack Obama has widened his lead nationally for the Democratic presidential nomination despite a furor over his comments about small-town Americans, a USA TODAY/Gallup Poll finds. Rival Hillary Rodham Clinton is getting more of the blame among those who say their contest has become too negative

Obambi learned quick to be the Politician he claimed he isn’t.
Look closely at his rise.
Everything was either handed to him or he himself has BAMBOOZLED — even his own supporters to get what he wants.
Obambi does not want the public to ask him any questions about what he has really done.
He wants to tell you what he will do……. it’s easlier to promise that than to explain what you have done.
He is slick as Oil and as he rises— Our Oil cost will rise higher. Will he care?…. no—his agenda does not include the TYPICAL White folks……
doesn’t even include the TYICAL Black folks……. or Asians or Hispanics….
He is a Communist. What was the common thread that Obambi felt with Ayers for the past 10 years……something very fundamental—- and Obambi will not discuss this. He will evade every questions regarding Ayers. In their hearts — they are the same.

From NBC/NJ’s Aswini Anburajan
SCRANTON, PA — Chomping down on sausage and waffles at Glider’s Diner in Scranton today, with his Pennsylvania BFF (Sen. Bob Casey) at his side, Obama avoided commenting on former President Jimmy Carter’s meeting with Hamas.
Asked by a reporter if he had heard that Carter reported a positive outcome from the meeting, Obama looked sternly at the reporter in question and said, “Why can’t I just eat my waffle?”
Asked again by the reporter, Obama bit — not at the question but into a butter covered bite of Glider’s specialty over-size Belgian waffles. With a wink this time he said, “Just let me eat my waffle.”

“Kitchen” is the best title, since all the media pundits, keep referring to Clinton, “throwing the kitchen sink”. I am sure that tag line would have never been used to describe Barack Obama. Because Hillary Clinton is a woman, the sexist (not racist) media, indirectly applying she perhaps belongs in the kitchen.
If you cannot stand the heat, get out of the kitchen indeed! For the reaction of Barack Obama media advisers(CNN, MSNBC, etc. the list is endless) over the debate of ABC, Obama cannot take the heat (without him whinning).

Her use of Osama Bin Laden is just more of what has gotten her in the shape she is in right now. From front runner to a laughing stock to those smart enough to get the joke.
All I hear when I see these ads from her stink tank is the sound of Tammy Wynette singing “Her D E S P E R A T E race becomes final today”
LOL She has no intention of becoming the nominee. She hasn’t since Texas when Obama took more delegates and she lost her bid to have the faulty votes counted in MI and FL. It’s all about making sure John McCain wins in November so that she can run again in 2012.
So go ahead and send more money, waste your vote and guess what? If it works you get at least 4 more years of Bush politics with McCain at the helm.
Dosen’t matter that much to me. I am educated and have money. The uneducated and poor who are voting for her are the ones who will lose in the next 4 years under McCain…oh and those women whose husbbies ran around on them and they decided to stay..Hillary gives them a feeling of power so they vote for her too but just like Hillary’s Motel 6 Bill…they never change and your lives won’t either if you don’t change. I am not saying that there are not good Americans, white and brown and black and yellow and red. But you are like sheep. Your government is rotten to the core. Now bring me before the government. You are deceiving the American people. And you, press, are an agent of the deception.”

Hey, Obamamaniacs:
You consistently forget that Obama is nowhere without the Clintonistas to support him in the GE. You make it impossible for me to do so.

“It’s the toughest job in the world,” it says. “You need to be ready for anything”
Obama can’t even handle a debate. Hillary Clinton is a fighter.
Barack Obama is a wuss.

It’s 3AM. And it’s a COLLECTION AGENCY – HILLARY $10 MILLION YOU OWE HARD WORKING PEOPLE whose only mistake was trying to help your once unstoppable campaign.

Obama is a weak crybaby who thinks he is superior to everyone else and truly feels affronted when asked a simple question. How is this presidential material?
Truman also said “the buck stops here.” Obama points fingers, blames others, stutters and stammers, and wahwahwahwahs like an itty bitty baby boy.
How can anyone support him? Where’s the change? How can he unite everyone when he can’t even unite the Democratic party? He’s pathetic!

HILLARY IS GOING TO WIN!

Hillary is tough! She’s really tough to look at. An eyesore anywhere, even in a zoo. She’s ready to lie from day one. The only problem is that on day one she won’t be in the White House; she’ll be hiding in her mansion in New York.

Belle Starr:
The fact of he matter is: Obama is a Christian, but what’s wrong with Muslims? Are you a religious bigot of some kind? There are over 1.4 billions Muslims in the world. Are you suggesting that they all are terrorists? They are over a million Catholics, are they all pedophiles?

Hillary is the wimp! First she complained about the “piling on” against her she claimed in one of the early debates. Then she complained about “unfair media treatment.” Then she complained about “the boys ganging up on me in a speech at her alma mater.” Then she about unfair media bias on SNL. She is the most whining bitch I have ever heard of. It’s time for her to get in the kitchen and start making cookies; that’s where she belongs.

what’s wrong with having osama in the list of challenges we have to face.
is he not still at-large? did he not orchestrate the only attack on U.S. soil(mainland) in history? don’t u want to apprehend this criminal?
how is this negative? those who think this implies anything to other candidates, or a comment on islam are nothing but spin… get out of the campaign competition and into reality. this is not a game for chris’s sake.

Poor Hillary.
Totally outclassed in all categories including campaign management, political messaging, reinforcing trust with potential voters and likeability.
She’ll be lucky to hold on to her Senate Seat which is up in a couple of years. Hopefully she can get more lemmings to send her money to pay off that 10 mil she still owes the mom and pop stores in NH, TX and Ohio.
What a loser.

I didn’t serve in uniform for three decades to see a do nothing Senator based on his actual State Senate and U.S. Senate record that believes America owes him the Presidency. I for one do not want the Obama friends that he refuses to disassociate himself go to the White House like Farankam, Wright, Byers and his former State Senator Meeks. Anyone that purchased a $1.65 million home at the cost of his own people when he helped slumlord REZKO, speaks about Obama true character. At least Obama lived up to why Americans hate slimy lawyers.

Obama can not do another debate in North Carolina but people think he is ready to be president? Who is the real Obama? Do you really know and are you willing to take a chance at this very important time in the history of the United States? Actions speak louder than words and I am very concerned about Obama’s movements.

Colonel,
Then McCain surely wouldn’t be a good fit either considering he was involved with the Keating 5 and I’m sure you’re aware of the numerous amount of hard working, honest people who lost everything with that.
McCain is the scheistiest of the 3. That’s why he won’t be close to being POTUS.
Who wants another shady, war mongering, tax benefits for the ultra rich politician as President, right?
RIIIIIIIIIIIGHT!

Cynics are still whining about debates?
Poor little spoon fed grasshoppas. Just go watch Springer. That should satisfy your need for debating. ABC’s was on par with Springer for content.
What a joke.

justiceme:
Mainly, I don’t buy into your misstatements and half-truths. Senator Obama is as patriotic as the next guy, and I don’t rely on y-tube snippets to form a judgement about the character of a pastor with a long career of preaching who served his country as a Marine.

I thought the ad was great!!!! Every picture Hillary used was the real thing!! Some day we might be facing those under lying currents and not to admit to that would be sticking your head in the sand. They are not fun issues to think about or talk about but they need to be discussed. Hillary is willing to address these concerns but Obama will not do another debate in North Carolina. And some people want him as a leader????

The latest from Hillary: “I will obliterate Iran.”

Just a thought, but isn’t 21 debates enough.

Posted by: lisa | April 21, 2008, 7:28 pm 7:28 pm

Look people
Did any of you listen to the debate?
Hillary was the only one who stated what she would do to try and correct the problems Bush has bestowed on the
United States. When the Clintons were in office, we did not have these problems. Which did you not enjoy the prosperty or the peace? Everyone needs to stop judging Pres. Clinton on his moral rights, that is between the Clinton’s. He ran the country very well.
We were not hated by other countries. DA
Obama has not given any info about how he would turn over this country. Please people, think for once.

Hillary has succeeded in exposing a harsher side of Obama. However, he still has a halo around his head compared to her and McCain. I won’t bore you with Pardongate and Keating 5 over a dozen others. I did find it interesting that older white women tend to identify with her. Someone even suggested the Monica incident may even have helped her with all the women who stay with their husbands. That kind of victim bonding is hard for me to believe. Yet even with Obama in office, we’re still in trouble until we redistribute the wealth, sharply cut military spending, spend on consumer goods we need not want, and most importantly take over the Fed so it works for the people and not the banks. Anyone remember Greenspan pitching ARMs at the height of the bubble? It makes me nauseous every time I think about it! I’ve donated $1900 to Obama so far, he’s a modern day Robin Hood, tax the rich, help the poor, not an idealistic rich guy like me! I know…nobody cares!

God, you have to loook very closely to even spot Bin Laden. So the point is?? Bin Laden’s profile is on the screeen for a brief second. It belongs there with other problems we have. That was the first itme in history we Americans have have been bombed on our own soil. So what is the controversy> Fear mongering? R e a l s t r e t c h!!

BECKA:
The latest from Hillary: “I will obliterate Iran.”
Well that’s enough for me; I’ve seen enough wars for one lifetime. The only “war” Hillary has seen has been dodging sniper bullets in Bosnia. She not sending my son to war.
I VOTING FOR OBAMA

Posted by: jbate | April 21, 2008, 7:44 pm 7:44 pm

If Obama is so interested in the change you want, how come you guys are looking into who he is surrounding himself with?
Dubya surrounded himself with war mongers despite saying he was against nation building while on the trail.
Every book out there proves within days Iraq was on the table.
So, what do all the energy companies that have ties to Cheney or Ayers tell you?
Because those two characters never cared about Americans, it was all about themselves.
That’s right Ayers has ties to an energy company. The largest in Illinois as a matter of fact, who is having probelms with it’s nuclear waste probelm and is looking to force it on Nevada, as well as every state in between who will be force to host the waste into their state via the rail system.
Tell Illinois to take their own nuclear garbage and not inflict it on others. It should have been within their own business plan to deal with it, not force it on so many other states.

AN ADVICE FROM AN HONEST MAN.
TAKE IT HILLARY AND APPLY IT.

Everyone voted for Bush because he was a reborn Christian. Please explain how that helped the American people. When Clinton was in office we didn’t have the problems that we have at the present time. What didn’t you all like about the Clinton admin., the peace or the prosperity? We were not in deep crap
like now. If you all listened, Hillary gave hope to our country, jobs, hope for the middle class and lower class.
Please,Please tell me what is Obama going to do, as I did not hear him explain what he would do for our country and the American people. I thought that is what a debate is about.
Everyone keeps thinking about what clinton did with whats her name. It needs to stop and concentrate on the real issues and how our president is going to help us.

I voted Bush in 2004 because the Democrats succeeded in scaring me worse than he does with their incessantly over-the-top hate-filled rhetoric, of a type that put the Repub slams on Bill Clinton to shame. Between Hillary and Barak, I support Barak because he is the ANTITHESIS of the “power through hate and division” wing of the Democrat Party. Nor does Hillary have significantly more experience than Barak — it’s like comparing a sixth-grader to a fifth-grader. If I had to elect someone strictly on experience grounds, McCain has literally more Congressional and foriegn policy experience than both of them combined, and that’s definitely an understatement. On the “Experience Issue”, Hillary will lose to McCain only slightly less worse than Barak would.
