Obama has been saying that words are important. He chooses bad words to describe small town America. What does this say about Obama? Now words don’t matter? Do we want such a person for President? It is too risky to gamble on Obama. Hillary should be the candidate against McCain.

Pretty clear to me that Hannity defamed the Reverend by taking the worst things this man had ever said and got the entire nation to rally around a “Old Black Men Shouldn’t Be Angry” flag.
Thank God for Mike Huckabee, who said in the aftermath of the scandal, that Obama is of a different generation, and why did it take Huckabee to ask the question of how many white men would be angry if they had been subjected to Jim Crow.

This year’s democratic primary is very particular in respect of the 2 candidates- a celebration for the civil rights mouvement in the US. I have to say that i am very shocked of the divisive, racist comments of fox news particularly Sean Hannity. It’s make think that Fox news is a racist channel.
This campaign is getting nastier and nastier and politics don’t worth it.

Rev. Wright critizes the founding fathers of the U.S. for their support of slavery, and rightly so. However, he also fails to recognize that it was their own writings that inspired many African Americans to work for their freedom.
Hindsight is 20/20 Rev. Wright. A true prophet is able to not only look backward, but to the present and the future. Rev. Wright is stuck in the past.

I think it’s true what many other posters are saying. As a Democrat I have felt much peer pressure from my friends about why I was choosing Hillary over Obama. I get the feeling from several of my black friends and those who are left leaning that when Obama is challenged on issues and rhetoric as any candidate would be that they think it unfair. If Hillary should win the nomination, I fear that they will be so upset they will hold it against me personally and anyone else they think may have supported Hillary. With the venom that Wright is putting out, the over-the-top rhetoric of Obama surrogates, and the general attitude of pitting one group of Dems aqainst another (which Obama is fostering by his generalizations) I think there may be real upheaval should Obama not get the presidency. But I will not be stampeded or vote out of fear. I will still vote for the person that I think can best do the job for all Americans.

I think the media needs to investigate the correlation between Obama’s views on religion (expressed at this fundraiser) and his long-time pastor Rev. Wright.
It is obvious Rev. Wright is an extreme radical. Obama views religion very poorly. I think there is a strong correlation.

Have any of you listened to the entire sermons (which by the way are from the years 2001 and 2003), if you would take time to make an honest interpretation for yourselves, you would listen to the sermons in its entirety. It is a known fact if you only hear 2 – 3 seconds of any conversation, you have missed the core of the message or the point. You have missed the beginning and the end with everything in between. All of you have taken the word of someone else and have not taken the responsibility to make your own thorough and concise determination.It appears that you are easily led like puppets on strings. Secondly, where is everyone? Are you not hearing from the very mouths of some of the voters that live in PA.? Actually he used key words that he “hopes” will resonate with people and they will focus just on those word like the “hope” and “change”. As a matter of fact, some of the people that I talk to do not know three things about Obama outside of those two words. I believe that they have huge audiences because their basic message is that the United States is a great country and her people are generally honest and hard working. Obama clearly looks down on the people in the United States of America that are not like him and he clearly is not being truthful with at least half of his audiences across the United States of America. I support Obama, but feel Rev. Wright is a coward to wait so long to speak up. He’s not running for anything but his retirement and Obama has shown more character to not “throw him under the bus” like he’s done Obama who has everything to lose.

Wright is an ex-Marine. If ANYONE has the right to say what he said, it’s him. He gave his service to his country and if that’s how he feels than I’m not going to put him down. It’s not something I would have said, but the man would not say those things if he didn’t feel that way and I think as Americans, it’s more important for us to focus on why he felt he needed to say those things and where they came from rather than distracting ourselves from whatever it is by attacking him and Obama.
