Pelosi on Bill Clinton’s Error-Riddled Excuse: a ‘Late-Night Adult Moment’
House Speaker Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif., was asked about former President Bill Clinton’s error-riddled defense of his wife, regarding her Hemingway-esque accounting of her 1996 trip to Bosnia.
"I can’t for the life of me figure out why the president would have said it except he may have been having a late night adult moment," Pelosi told CBS’s Bob Schieffer, "but let’s leave it at that."
Kind of harsh for a House speaker to say about a former president.
And ABC News’ Sarah Amos points out that Bill Clinton’s comments were hardly "late night" — having been uttered at 3 in the afternoon and again at 5 pm.
Somebody buy these Democrats some watches.

Ms. Pelosi has become quite a disappointment to the Congressional Democrats. She had a wonderful opportunity which she must have craved for years. In less than a year, she has shown her utter incompetence as a Speaker of the House.
She is not that greatly popular in her own liberal SF. Now, she is trying to shore up her support by being for Mr. Obama and against the Clintons.
Although it is unlikely, I sure hope the Congressional Democrats replace her with some body more effective and efficient.

Pelosi has been a major disappointment – both as Speaker and as a so-called Party leader.
Does anyone else think that that smile on This Week with G. Stephanopolis a few weeks ago was that of the “cat who swallowed the canary” – very unbecoming!
Is she the face of the New Democratic Party? Yuck!!!!!

I’d call it a very diplomatic remark when in fact she talking about lying, lying, and lying again.
It is the lying itself that is harsh for a former President.
Posted by: greg | April 11, 2008, 9:02 pm 9:02 pm
Spoken like some one who will never be a ststeswoman what a lousy way for a speaker of the house to behave what a remark to make about a President who is part of the same party.

Bill42 today seemed to suggest that Hillary was getting long in the tooth. He also said, she had a hard time remembering stuff at night since she turned 60.
Interesting take on Bills part, but I guess he’s in position to be in the Know.
But still kind of a harsh assessment of Hills by Bills.

I have an honest question for Clinton Supporters. Will you roll on anyone and smear them in mud if they don’t support your candidate? Anyone who doesn’t support Hillary Clinton is the enemy (Bush-esk) and will have their heads on your plate? Is that how it is? Let’s count the people you have throen under the bus because they voiced their opinions…
1. Oprah Winfrey
2. John Kerry
3. Ted Kennedy
4. George Clooney
5. Gov. Kathleen Sebelius (D, KS)
6. Gov. Bill Richardson (D, NM)–whom some of you wanted on the ticket with Hillary Clinton. Now he’s worthless.
7. former President Jimmy Carter
8. Nancy Pelosi.
The list goes on…..

I have a thought and would appreciate some feedback from all of you.
Why is Hillary up so late at night (3 A.M.) all of the time? Doesn’t she realize that sleep deprivation can have devastating effects on the human body? It can even lead some to believe that they’ve done or said things that have never happened!
Is it possible that she’s gotten so used to waiting up at night for Bill to come home (1992-2000) and then confront him with:
“Allright… Now where the *HELL* have you been???”, that she can no longer sleep normal hours?
My advice for the good lady would be: Get some sleep!

Posted by: Joan | April 11, 2008, 9:41 pm 9:41 pm
Uhhh Sonia Trevino———————- I agree with Pelosi. As much as I despise Bush, you do not impeach a President for political differences. That would serve to undermine our democracy and what the constitution stands for. Bush may be a horrible President, but he is not negligent. Pelosi knows that and in a time of war, it would put our Country in a constitutional crisis. Also, remember that if Bush is impeached, Cheney, a more worse of a person, would be President. Come on, think it through.

“Will you roll on anyone and smear them in mud if they don’t support your candidate?”
And then you may not have seen what people are posting on the Hillary forums out there yet. It is truly terrible.
EVERYONE who supports Barack Obama gets personally smeared, so yes, including people like Kennedy or Kerry who fought so hard for a Democratic agenda for the USA. It’s incredible and very confusing: really a LOT of Hillary’s supporters do not seem to care one bit about the actual and urgent issues these elections are about, they ONLY care about Hillary as their Great American Idol.
That’s why many of these supporters might indeed vote FOR the war in Iraq and AGAINST universal health care if Obama wins the nomination… SHE was entitled to the throne, and Obama had the brutality to spoil the coronation festivities… That’s how they think. America’s problems have NOTHING to do with it. These folks, in Hillary’s official blog for instance, NEVER discuss the issues but they all agree that Obama is unfit and “too inexperienced” to tackle them – even when a majority of Hillary’s fellow Senators are clearly telling them otherwise. They know it better! for Hillary is their girl!
It’s… I can’t find a word for it.

Well Sonia Trevino,
I am no supporter of the War, but the only good thing I have to say about ot is that the U.S finally eliminated one less nut job (Saddam Hussein) from the reigns of power. Bush has laid the blame on faulty intelligence– which I think is a bogus claim, but then she would have to go after everyone in the Senate who voted for the war without reading and examining the necessary documents (negligence). The point is that it would put our Federal government in turmoil during an election year and a time of war. None of which, Americans need right now.

I cannot understand why people are defending Bill and Hillary Clinton. Both are very close to be caller pathological liars. When N. Dear Sen. Clinton,
You fought a tough fight because you love this country and we all respect you, President Clinton, and Chelsea for it. Now show your love by stepping back and prevent the Republicans from winning this November. The health care plan that Senator Obama proposes may not, in your opinion, be as good as your’s but at least it will insure everyone who desires it, and isn’t that worth your sacrifice? I am just worried if you keep this up it can cost us the election and you wouldn’t want that would you. Please do it for all those people you met along the way who have to work double shifts to be able to insure their families. Let them work a single shift and be able to spend more time with their children especially the single Mom’s you hold so dear to your heart. Let’s not forget the war. Why hang on by less than a thread and allow McCain to prolong the war. Think of all the lives you would be saving with this selfless action. Please Senator, that’s what you spent those 35 years of hard work for……………….isn’t it?

Klaus….just like Obama is a media invention to a large extent….the demonization of the Clinton’s is as well.
Bill Clinton was the only Democratic President that served America in the last 30 years (after 1 term for Carter) He ran a balanced budget and created jobs. He was able to come a long way with civil rights and enforcement of Federal Equal Opportunity laws. He took the guns out of the hands of children while leaving them in the hands of adults…..he had an amazing record on the environment….he developed in his administration a policy of keeping terrorists at bay and had to fight the Republicans to enforce it…he was instrumental in bringing peace to Northern Ireland and many other things.
Did he sleep around? yes! Was he prosecuted and investigated by Republicans all the time he was in office? yes…Do politicians exaggerate? yes
The demonization of Hillary as a media exercise and campaign tactic is a disgrace.

I think Pelosi knew the time and saying that was just a swipe at Billy not only for his newly minted lies about the fake claims about her Bosnia trip, but also his claims that the false story took place at 11 pm and his poor 60 year old wife was too fatigued to understand what was going on around her… it did not take place at night, she repeated it at least four times over a period of time, and she did not correct it or apologize immediately as Billy’s new lies would have us believe about the old lies.
Pelosi is older than Clinton and it is reasonably for her to take offense at Billy characterization of an elderly woman too tire at 11 pm to know what is going on, and she should be forget for being feeble, since she is old and tired.
Good for Pelosi, she should be this tough on Bush and Cheney.
It one likes to be lied to, vote Clinton, lies and then lies excusing lies…beautiful…

Pelosi is an idiot and has done absolutely nothing as Speaker. Bill has been drinking too much – just look at him. How many times does he have to be told to shut up? Hillary flat-out lies right to your face & the fact that she’s still married to such an idiot shows a huge flaw in her ability to make rational decisions. These people disgust me. I can’t believe any of them think they honorably represent the Democratic Party in any way.

Former Pres. Clinton said a few days ago that a presidential candidate should be able to take the heat of the press and if they can’t they are in the wrong business and then he goes and whines about how the press is treating his wife. If she is as tough as he claims then stop complaining and srop all the sniping and get to the issues. Bill went out and lied, I’m sorry misspoke about Hillary misspeaking on the Bosnia trip. If it was 11pm and she was tired what about the other times when she told the same story and it wasn’t 11pm? And if she gets that confused at 11pm how do we know she will be any better at 3am when the phone rings? Bill needs to let sleeping dogs lie. If a topic has left the spotlight let it stay out of the spotlight.

Bill has taken some serious detours off the campaign’s talking points and stuck his foot in his mouth so badly and so often that I truly wonder if he isn’t losing it. I believe HE is the 60-year-old in the family who can’t remember much from one day to the next.
One other possibility presents itself: Maybe he, is consciously or not, deliberately subverting his wife’s campaign. Why else would he keep bringing up her Bosnia lie? Why else would he comment on his wife’s age-related memory problems? Why else would he deliberately antagonize the press, baiting them with even more lies?
This is a man, remember, who once was reputed to be the greatest politician of his generation. He is screwing up badly.
Whether he is skidding around the corners mentally or is engaged in some kind of deep psycho-feud with his wife, this is not a drama for the White House. For once, could the Clinton’s just keep it to themselves?

Tapper after your I THINK Obama lied to me article…you are hardly the person to be taking shots at anybody. Folks, if you have bought the farm that Bill Clinton wants Hillary Clinton to be the next President, then that island in NY is for sale for $1.95. There is nothing in this man’s history with this wife that leads me to believe that he wants her to replicate the most significant achievement of his life. It amazes me that the media continues to see his supposed gaffes’ as some sort of accidental mishap. Smart people don’t get dumb overnight. In the case of the former President, I don’t believe for a moment he doesn’t know what he is doing every moment. The man has nothing if he does not have an ego.

Two things everyone is forgetting, in the recent Clinton wars (“does Bill Richardson OWE Hillary her support?” “Is he being a traitorous Judas for not giving it?”, etc.) is, and allow me to be the first to bring this name up; RON BROWN.
Long before Bill Clinton won the Dem. primary in 1992, RON BROWN had the DLC oiled, polished, and running in top form. He had, by himself, UNITED the lefty/liberal wing of the party (example, the poor neighborhood minority voters who wanted welfare or at least more health care for children) with the high & mighty “liberal intelligenstia” wing of the party – the Hollywood celebs, the billionaires, etc. Ron and Bill got along famously (vs their common foe, BushSr. Republicans who had bankupted America with the S&L debacle), and not only did Ron present Bill with the mighty DNC campaign machine, which would become the basis of Clinton’s “War Room” winning campaign, but Ron helped winnow out the chaff in Bill’s primary campaign.
Then, in 2000, we get one of the great betrayals in American history: NOT ONE Dem Senator would sign on to the SIMPLE Congressional Black Caucus request for a SIMPLE congressional investigation into (massive) voter disenfranchisement in Florida (at the hands of Katherine Harris and the Republican candidate’s OWN BROTHER, Jeb Bush!)
This FAILURE of FIFTY Democratic Senators to SUPPORT THEIR one of their CAREER, CORE CONSTITUECIES, was simply disgraceful. In a word, the Democrat senators were INTIMIDATED by the Right-Wing mob that had impeached Bill Clinton over “Monica – Did she, or Didn’t She?”, but only after Ken Starr had to quit his $70 million “whitewater” investigation in failure. (Remember the hounding Repubs gave starr to come back to his “independet counsel” job?)
Hillary was not in the senate for that great, disgraceful roll call.. but what has SHE done for minority voters DISENFRANCHISED in 2000 (and 2004) since then?
The notion that ANY Dem. interest group OWES Mrs. Clinton their primary vote is absurd. If women, immigrants, minorities, union workers, single moms, or any other Democrats want to vote for Hillary, that is of course their business and their right. But for any of the Dems who were in the Senate in 2000 (or thereafter) to imply that anyone OWES them a vote, is simply absurd.
Ron Brown and the Black Congressional Caucus helped put Bill Clinton in the White House in 1992, and today, no one even remembers his name!
(Much less expresses an appreciation for their efforts back then.)

He’s trying to cover up more of her lies.
Here is another lie.
Hilary claims Obama is no professor.
Read on:
The Law School has received many media requests about Barack Obama, especially about his status as “Senior Lecturer.” From 1992 until his election to the U.S. Senate in 2004, Barack Obama served as a professor in the Law School. He was a Lecturer from 1992 to 1996. He was a Senior Lecturer from 1996 to 2004, during which time he taught three courses per year. Senior Lecturers are considered to be members of the Law School faculty and are regarded as professors, although not full-time or tenure-track. The title of Senior Lecturer is distinct from the title of Lecturer, which signifies adjunct status. Like Obama, each of the Law School’s Senior Lecturers have high-demand careers in politics or public service, which prevent full-time teaching. Several times during his 12 years as a professor in the Law School, Obama was invited to join the faculty in a full-time tenure-track position, but he declined.
I would definately say he’s ready to lead our country.

Jean, your comment “Do your job man. I don’t care whether the facts support one candidate or another, I just believe that as a reporter, you have a higher responsibility to report the truth.” was positively wonderful. I wish the entire MSM would report ‘TRUTH AND FACTS’, but it has been many many decades since that was true. I don’t know when ‘news’ started to deterioate to the point where it became propaganda, ineundo, and personal opinion. The worst thing is that most of our public actually believe what they are being fed as “gospel”. Like you, all I ask is that the truth be reported so that Americans can actually learn the facts about this campaign. It appears that only the reporters who talk of weather give more facts than their counterpart “journalists”. It is a sad state of affairs for this country. Thanks again Jean!

jean has a excellent post above – true journalist should ask those questions that actually matter to this country:
you ask the Clinton who has funded 500 million dollars to their library?
Where did former President Bill Clinton go, when he went on those speaking engagements into other countries?
A mistatement is an ‘utterance given without thought and without malice or the intent to harm or deceive’?
How does the well thought out lie about Bosnia which was repeated over and over at least 5 times, qualify as a ‘misstatement’? ask Sneator Clinton about that?
ASk her how is it that she does not know that her right hand man is negotiating a NAFTA deal with Columbia???
You shouldn’t be worried about watches, you should be worried about Americans who are being lied to!!!
Do your job man. I don’t care whether the facts support one candidate or another, I just believe that as a reporter, you have a higher responsibility to report the truth.
Good for you Jean. Bravo Nancy!

PELOSI, DEAN AND OBAMA ARE DESTROYING THE DEMOCRATIC PARTY.
Having been born in the segregated South, I have come to understand racism. Sometimes it is overt; more often nowadays it is covert. It is my belief that Obama is a racist: he continues to resent his mother’s race (his words from his book). Such a man or woman is not fit to be president, period.
Obama is a fraud. He is a slick corrupt politician from Chicago. He is an elitist, a racist and a socialist.
His followers cling to ‘hope’ and ‘change’ as actual reasons to vote for him, while continuing to convince themselves that the fantasy of who they want Obama to be still exists.
The problem is: Obama is the ‘dream’ of the politically correct crowd and they will just ignore anything that gets in the way of the fairy tale.
Obama could butcher a kitten on the White House lawn and the media would make it sound like a good thing!
NO OBAMA IN 2008! HE HAS TOLD TOO MANY LIES!

I have been through a lot of election primaries. I think this is the nastiest one I have ever seen, with the most undeserving individuals. McCain is the only possible fit choice. His integrity and honesty and loyalty to country is well-known.

The big danger is that Hillary’s campaign is on full-bore destroy the opposition. That is always ultimately a self-destructive tactic. There is blowback. Also, Barack Obama has pretty much shared so much about himself that he may be hard to destroy. He has made his mistakes and he has dealt with them.
Hillary’s campaign, including Bill whom I used to respect along with her, has made so many and so blatantly without ever confronting them that it’s going to be hard for her to do what she is going to have to do if she is the loser — back the winner and get the Republicans as far from the White House as we can for the sake of the country’s survival.

An ex-president of the United States tells 8 provable lies on national t.v. in 30 seconds and all people can think to say is that the Speaker of the House knows it? And that’s bad? We’re all supposed to pretend that the Emperor Has No Clothes. Bill Clinton was buying his owning polling demographics. That was no mistake. He was counting on his belief that a demographic of people with less college education means that people are stupid and won’t know the difference. Guess what Bill? We aren’t stupid and we do know the difference. The Speaker of the House has a greater responsibility to America then she does to the Clintons. And it was Bill who brought up the idea of a senior moment when he tried to say Hillary goofed because it was 11:00pm and she’s 60. See the videos. Good for you Ms. Pelosi.

Obama is an ELITIST.
If Obama wins the dem. nom., he will be another Al Gore, and John Kerry. Two prominant democrats who couldn’t win the White House.
We need a Clinton. The Clinton brand is a winning brand. Clintons won the White House, and they won over and over against the republicans, and embarrassed the republicans consistantly & effectively. Wake up Democrats!!!! Obama is going down in the general. Hillary is our only hope to get the white house back! Never underestimate a Clinton!

Bill Clinton is deserving of all the harsh comments he is getting this election cycle. The went from one of the beloved figure in the democrats party to one of the hated person. I personal think this preventing his wife from being elected president because he is too selfish. No body believe what bill and hillary have to say anymore because of their lies to defend their previous lies. His legacy is destroyed for good.

I’ve been a lifelong Goldwater and Reagan conservative republican but I’m throwing in the towel.
I am going to vote for Obama who, besides being far more intelligent than those two, is also our only hope we will become a peacefull and respected country.

I am a Canadian and I observe the political scene. An election and the work involved is very intense and compacted into a very small time frame; yet the next four years depend on this work. For Clinton the stress is even higher in that she is female, the wife of a President and competing with a strong opponent. I have my personal beliefs about tendency to undermine leaders of the country, given my theories on the vulnerable populations at any time of transition. I feel her recollections represent the way that she felt as she ran under the whirling blades of a helicopter into the unknown territory. Like can you imagine what it was like? The noise, the people, the setting, the importance of this particular visit? It was a very dramatic scene, so I do not fault her if her comment reflects what it felt like to her at that time and moment. So I listen to her words and I try to hear what it is she is telling to tell the people as she makes her bid in this time in history to be the first Woman President. The election is exciting even to an outsider. I watch and hope for the best outcome for the American people.

To all you Clinton supporters. I’m sorry to be the one to tell you this, but it’s over. Obama’s won. To win the nomination, they would have convince the remaining superdelagates to steal the election from trom the people. It’s not going to happen. The Convention would tear itself apart. Maybe there’s a deseted Island somewhere the Clinton’s could buy, and Queen Hillary could take her rightful place at the throne. Then everyone would be happy.

I actually credit her with a degree of wit on this. I think most commentors here have lost their marbles.

The lameness in reading some of Hillary’s supporters are so pathetic.
Bringing up the Word Elitest when your candidate made 109mm cashing in on the white house and another 500mm to charities
they control.
when Obama was raised by his mother and later his grand parents out of an apartment in Hawaii and had to earn scholarships by working his butt off getting up at 4am for extra school by his mom.
that’s rediculous
you leming’s hear Hillary use the word elitest and hours later your using the same word and you have not even read the
transcript in which he was responding to a question wondering if they Pennsylvania small towns weren’t voting for him because he was black
and he was saying it was these other issues
which they are all true

I have always thought of Bill and Hillary Clinton as VERY smart people and truly feel she is the most qualified of the Presidental candidates to be President. HOWEVER, while I was a strong supporter of her, I have been embarassed by some of the things both have said. Did she not know she was on camera in Bosnia?? I’m sorry, but after all I have seen if Obama is the nominee and her campaign fails, it’s the Clinton’s own darn fault for being plain old stupid at times.

I think the timing of the Obama comments was to deflect what Bill Clinton said about his wife and Bosnia. He also misstated some things on this topic. Notice how the attention went to the Obama comments that occured last week? Great timing for the Clinton’s to get the subject off them. I wish they would both shut up.

I agree that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi has become quite a disappointment to Democrats and also to women in general. IMO, she is threateneed by Hillary Clinton’s election as Hillary would overshadow her position in an instant.
As far as the campaign, I hope voters are finally seeing the sad truth about Obama! The man suggests as a nation we are divided and need to get race out of equation and yet all he discusses is race!
I also just read about his wife’s college thesis which has been kept hushed up for good reason. Do a Google search on it and you’ll amazed by her views on race–the white race in particular! And these two people want us to believe they want race out of the picture? Not for a minute.

Nancy is a great speaker and doing a wonderful job. If she were running for president, i might think twice about Obama. Nancy got where she is the old fashioned way-she earned it. That is in sharp contrast to Hllary, who rose to the top only because of her husband. It is sickening that she thought she was more entitled to the presidency because she was married to the former president. As for her statement about Bill, Jake I read that as an obvious slam on Bill’s age-she was suggesting it was getting close to bedtime for Bill, who has often been seen napping during events.

Those of you who have made the Clintons your God are so out of step with reality! Nancy Pelosi has no reason to be jealous of Hillary. Hillary makes up war stories, rides on the coattails of a man who can’t keep his britches up, supported NAFTA all the way and even let the health care program go at the time to do so and makes deals with Columbia through her husband! John McCain’s age and Obama’s speeches that are blown way out of proportion can’t even hold a candle to the Clinton’s lies and corruption!

Either Bill Clinton lied, or he was having a senile-type senior moment. I think it’s obvious he lied. Pelosi was saying the politic thing, implying he made a mistake rather than lied, however she still gets a dig in: If he didn’t lie, then he’s old and losing it. (In other words, for Clinton it’s late in the day, even if it’s only 3PM.) Yeah, we all know the truth is Bill Clinton was lying.

I am surprised the Polosi opinion matters to anyone. You are right about her trying to stay in the Speakers house, so she is backing a person whom she thinks she can impress (due to lack of experience), as she obviously has failed at the job. Too bad, as I had high hopes for her.
I guess it takes one inexperienced person to know another.
The important part of that incident was completely lost. Why every one was fact checking, you completely lost track of the fact that a young lady died and so did her child, and that something is wrong with our medical care system.
WHO IN THE HELL CARES IF BILL OR HILLARY GOT THE AEXACTLY FACTS RIGHT (it was second and third hand information), THE POINT REMAINS. Two people who should be alive today, are dead.
POLOSI, do you think you can concentrate on that, and not trying to hoodwink Obama into keeping your job.

I thought most Democrats were anxious to see the current administration and future similar ones be defeated by a terrific Democrat candidate.
While I, a 69 yr. old white feminist once supported Hilary whole heartedly, I am now moving toward voting for Obama in the NC primary–for a variety of reasons. However, I would gladly vote for Hilary as a second choice and by far a better choice than John McCain.
I really can’t believe the awful vindictiveness being shown between the Clinton and Obama camps–and truly believe that most people appear to only pay attention to headlins and never do any research or thinking on their own.
They both have made missteps–but are both excellent candidates and either one would make a fine president. If this is an indication of what to look for in the election, I have little hope of a Democratic win—sadly.

Am I the only one who is recognizing the possibility that Bill Clinton may well be intentionally sabotaging his wife’s campaign?
Think about it – this is a guy who is very proud of the legacy he left for the country. If his wife wins the nomination or the election – by being the first Woman president – in his mind, she could eclipse his presidency.
The man – in some psychological profiler’s eyes my be viewed as narcissistic when he cheated on his wife in the windowless corridor – it was an at many would say was about arrogant flaunting of power in the face of his wife.
Who is to say that what he’s doing now – making a lot of noise about the Bosnia thing – long after it had been set aside… getting visibly angry about Obama’s successes after the last round of routings in the primaries.
If we’re all cringing hoping someone sends him a message to shut up – and if he’s notoriously a BRILLIANT campaigner – why would he drop the ball on his wife’s campaign unless perhaps somewhere underneath – he wants her to do well but never better than him?
He was better on the stump when she was running for state Senator… has been quoted before she announced her candidacy as saying “my job is to stay out of her way”…
I suspect he knows exactly what he’s doing – and he’s sending a subliminal message to voters… “If she can’t control her husband, what kind of management skills will she have as commander in chief?”
I am saying it loud and clear – Bill Clinton is intentionally trying to sabotage his wife’s campaign. There’s too much at stake with his legacy.
Listen carefully to him – see if you agree for yourselves.
I’ll sit here highly amused.

Pelosi’s Dem. “leadership” has been a total disappointment. Congress’ approval rating is low and she knows it. She says she wants the Dem. Party to be united, but she doesn’t realize how divisive she has been. She needs to learn to keep quiet so she doesn’t offend at least 50% of the Dem. party and further divide it. Let’s let the primary run its course and let the rest of the states in the primary have their voting day.

All of these biased people for obama are such a turn off to the election process, definitely not a motivator. It is disgusting how these obama people are acting, it is getting cult like and frankly just like the Bush people in 2000.
Politics are politics and outright fruad, lies and misrepresentations of propaganda are just that even when they are not reported as such.
Obama is riding a false wave and I would never support something so irresponsible and shallow.
It is just as sad as the GOP.

Bill Clinton must have had a reason behind these words. My thinking is that it was to change subject from Colombia Trade Deal story to something less damaging as a Bosnia story. This also sends a message to public that Hillary and Bill are not on same page on everything. and that is Hillary’s argument that she is against trade deals while Bill Clinton is for trade deals.
Believe it or not – this is a well thought out planned thing to make us think that Bill and Hillary are not on same page on everything – mind games…
