Barack Obama Responds to Hillary Clinton’s RFK Remark
ABC News’ Tahman Bradley and Kate McCarthy report: Sen. Barack Obama gives Hillary Clinton the benefit of the doubt that she had no hidden meaning when she invoked the assassination of Bobby Kennedy as an explanation for remaining in the Democratic presidential race.
"I have learned that when you’re campaigning for as many months as myself and Sen. Clinton have been campaigning that, you know, sometimes you get careless in terms of the statements that you make. And I think that’s what happened here," Obama told the Puerto Rico radio station Isla Saturday.
"Sen. Clinton says that she did not intend any offense by it, and I would take her at her word on that."
Word of Clinton’s remark made to the Argus Leader sparked a less gracious response yesterday by the Obama campaign. Spokesman Bill Burton said the remarks were "unfortunate." Robert F. Kennedy Jr., a Hillary Clinton supporter, issued a statement last night saying Clinton’s words should not be interpreted for more than they were.
Obama spent his day campaigning in Puerto Rico where he held a rally at La Plaza del Quinto Centenario in advance of next Sunday’s primary. Obama told the cheering crowd, "If we do well in Puerto Rico, there’s no reason I won’t be announcing I’m the Democratic nominee for president."
Obama also told the crowd he thought his campaign was "on the brink of winning the Democratic nomination.”

The only thing that needs to be put out of it’s misery is Hillary’s campaign. She has let her handlers leave her boring, full speed, head on into the nearest iceberg. True an arguement can be made that it wasn’t entirely her fault, until this latest act of ruthlessness and unvarnished desperation she decided to insert with her campaign teetering into it’s “last throes”, “damn the torpedos” act of final and utimate disaster. If the superdelegates want to still keep their hopes of taking the White House alive, they have to go with the money and the enthusiasm and take their shot with Obama. Because a broke, and angry Hilliary, who offers accusations and class warfare instead of any substantive difference of general policy from “Madman McCain” is a loser for sure.

When people ask..why Obama? Why are his supporters so convinced of this mans greatness? People who have never been involved in politics are not only voting for the first time, we are volunteering for him, were donating to him, we are cancelling vacations so that we can send that money to his campaign, we are emailing friends and foes for this campaign. We will stand in the rain for 10 hours waiting to get one glimpse of him and people ask why? It is because of things like this, his character, his ethics, his morality, his story is the story of so many of us and what we have wanted to see in our leaders for so long.
If it had been Obama who was behind and he had made this comment, can you imagine what Hillary would have said and done? No, we don’t have to imagine we already know….”SHAME ON YOU BARACK OBAMA, SHAME ON YOU BARACK OBAMA!!!” Screaming at him like a small child. Or my favourite one ” HE IS AN ELITIST” “HE DOES NOT KNOW PEOPLE IN SMALL TOWNS”..Then she ran an Ad (Payed over $300,000 to run an Ad against him because of a comment that he said that came out wrong). Does Obama play the same card, no…HE GIVES HER THE BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT. Does he run an Ad against her comments, no he just says it was unfortunate. The drama has ended.
Obama is a true leader, a leader that we have been waiting for and a leader who will inspire us to do better. Be better daughters, better sisters, better moms, better friends, better workers, better neighbors and better Americans.

Barack “will take her at her word”? lol
Let’s see: What Hilary’s words are worth these days?
“Michigan and Florida does not count”, Hilary Clinton’s words a few months ago.
“Michigan and Florida voted; I won; and I want the votes and delegates of Michigan and Florida.”
“Barack should get zero votes for Michigan; since his name was not on the ballot”, Hilary’s campaign.
Barack will take Hilary’s words; but he will STILL keep her at arms’ length. lol

Hilary’s campaign is dead. Why kick her when she is out. It’s like a boxer jumping on another after the guys been knocked out cold. Hilary won’t get up so why bother criticizing her. Of course, if Obama does end up dead, then we all know who to look for

Obama knows that his supporters are blowing it for him.
The venom they spit at Hillary has convinced many of them to either to stay home on Election Day or to vote for John McCain.
Obama has a real problem on his hands.
His bitter supporters have made this race so divisive, John McCain will probably win the General Election.

Hillary supporters, it will be amusing to watch Obama supporters beg you to vote for Obama if he becomes the nominee.
Remember their comments here, this is what they really think about Hillary.
Of course, they will say whatever they think will persuade you to vote for Far Left Obama if he becomes the nominee.
As for me, although I am a long-time Democrat, there is no way on God’s green earth that I will vote for Radical Obama.

I’d also like to see the facts presented on Michigan & Florida. Maybe the pledge that was signed by both Democratic candidates & how that pertains to the nomination???

Wow, Obama still implies that it was directed at him. It’s Obama’s world and we’re just living in it.
I guess RFK’s son knows better:
May 23: Robert Kennedy Jr. issued the following statement this evening: ”It is clear from the context that Hillary was invoking a familiar political circumstance in order to support her decision to stay in the race through June. I have heard her make this reference before, also citing her husband”s 1992 race, both of which were hard fought through June. I understand how highly charged the atmosphere is, but I think it is a mistake for people to take offense.” ###

The only thing that Hillary is sorry for is that she’s taking heat. Her excuse is that she was thinking heavily about Kennedy this week, yet she said he same thing several months ago, before Kennedy was diagnosed with cancer. Another lie… but then again, what else should we really expect from her. At least now we know why she’s staying in the race – she’s got her fingers crossed that her opponent will just go away, somehow.

Hillary had no business in comparing herseslf with her husband or RFK. Before, their contests got in CA they were leading and not in second place that she currentry occupy and badly trailing. It is comparison of oranges with apples in order to justify an illusionary idea. Then unfortunately her tounge sliped and said what was in her heart rather than what was in her manipulative brain. She refused a graceful exit and now she is on the verge of shameful one.

His campaign spokesman said within minutes that Hillary’s comment had no place in the campaign. And Obama says the next day she was careless because of a long campaign.
That’s good hardball campaigning, but it’s not different politics, as the above Obama posters claim it is.
Hillary was not careless, there’s nothing wrong with referencing campaigns that went into June, including the memorable trauma in June of Bobby Kennedy’s California win and the aftermath, she’s done it repeatedly, and she was answering a question from the newspaper editors about you Obama thugs and the liberal media trying to force her out of the race. Unprecedented is what she calle dit, and cited those examples.
I’ll hand it to Axelrod that he’s an SOB at sticking the knife in and letting Obama twist it, but that’s all the credit I’ll give you Obama people.
As I post regularly, we Hillary supporters want nothing to do with Obama and Axelrod and will be voting for McCain if we can’t get Hillary on the ballot as president.
Obama will do better than McGovern, about the same as Dukakis and Mondale, but not nearly as good as Kerry. He will be soundly trounced and the Democratic party will no longer be viable with what’s left of you.

I am a woman over 50 and I find Hillary to be mean-spirited, divisive and a liar. To vote for her just because you want a woman president is ridiculous. I am a Business Manager and have had several women bosses. Some of them have had the same lust for power and lack of integrity as Hillary and those traits almost destroyed our department; just like Hillary is about to destroy the Democratic Party. I agree it would be great to have a woman President, but she is not the right person.

It would help the HIllary suporters to look into the question Obama was responding to when he stated that he took Hillary at her word. I’m pretty sure the question was framed from his reference point. Needles to say it would not matter what Obma said or did, because these blogs are toxic blasts to each other. If Obama takes Hillary at her word, he is bad. If he doesn’t he is bad. Ferraro says that Obama just “let” the media crucify her. He tried to help her with her pin and he was labelled a sexist, but he is supposed to know to come to her aid when the media is persecuting her? Help, I would hate to be a man in today’s climate because I don’t know the rules and I’m a woman. I think back to the first theory – this is a very toxic campaign and if you aren’t for the candidate anything they do is bad.

I am also amused by pundits who think that the vast majority of Hillary supporters will unite behind Radical Obama if he becomes the nominee.
Obama supporters might think that their nasty comments about Hillary and her supporters will be forgotten by November, but the truth is John McCain is a moderate Republican, who is closer to the center than Far Left-Wing Obama.
If the super delegates hope to see a Democrat win the White House in November, they will vote for Hillary.
If not, get ready for President McCain.

In the PA primary Hillary was shown taking straight shots of whiskey and polishing her shotgun…
Maybe she just let it go to her head.
Obama’s response is just what I’d expect from him, though. Gracious, smooth… he got his pitch from W’s victory in 2004 and 2000, without picking up the smirk.
But he’s lying. He’s delighted that people are talking about Vince Foster again instead of Black Power “theology” and Trinity United Church and Chicago political machinations. BHO and HRC are both struggling and grasping for power. They have no higher motivation.

It was a totally inappropriate analogy for Senator Clinton to make when there were so many other examples of long primaries that she could have used. I am tired of her lack of judgement and discretion. She does not seem to consider the impact of her words – that is not a particularly comforting quality in a President. Hey Karen, you want to know what it’s going to take for a woman to become President? Barack Obama. Why? Because he is attempting to bring about a new way of politicking, a new way of having a public conversation between ideologies. The Rove politics, Clinton politics, etc. these styles will be dispatched once people realize that this argument can be had without creating great division, or destroying the person. This will finally allow those who have great ideas, but are repulsed at the gutter level mentality required to be “in the game” the opportunity to come forward. When the days come when a conversation can be held between different viewpoints, with the intended outcome being of what benefits the people over the individual the most, will be the days of a much higher regard for those who represent us. Myself personally, I predict, regardless of Hillary’s effect on the publics perception of female candidates, a woman as POTUS within 10 years, 12 years max.

I really didn’t take Hillary’s comment to mean anything but a time reference. I don’t think these candidates can always make perfect references everyday. They (the media) are beating up on her pretty bad. Although, I do agree that she would jump all over this if the shoe was on the other foot, I still think they (we) should give her break.
What she should be beat up about is her constant changing of the measure of a nomination win, claiming the popular vote (which is divisive and untrue), and advocating for a change to the process after agreeing to it. Now that is out and out wrong!

Hillary is unelectable and she is now trying to cause a loss for the Dems so she can run in 1012. This a self serving strategy that only benefits Republicans. Hillary’s stubborness can be compared to Bush. She has a negative influence even amoung her naive supporters who want a woman at any cost. Hillary has already poisoned politics for women. The funny thing is, Clinton supporters think we care if they don’t support the dem nominee in Nov. We could care less. Obama supporters wouldn’t vote for her either, so she wouldn’t get the presidency either way. Obama is 46 years old. He can easily try again with no problems. If we kill Hills chance this time, then she’s done completely. And how fitting is it that her dumb behind killed herself with this idiotic and moronic comment. As long as she doesn’t get it and is defeated, she and the Clinton machine are dead. Overall, there is one person who defeated Hillary Clinton and that was Hillary Clinton herself. If she wasn’t so egotistical and arrogant, she would have planned beyond super Tuesday. That will teach her to celebrate before winning next time. Go back to Arkansas. And Keith Olberman killed it on Countdown last night. Completely slammed her and told her how it was. Way to go!

In her raw ambition and stubborn, grinding energy, Hillary will certainly cast a long shadow on young women aspiring to high office. She is both inspiring role model and cringe-making bad example — an overtly feminist careerist who never found a way to succeed without her husband’s connections, advice, and intervention.
Bill Clinton may have masterminded Hillary’s runs for the Senate and for the Democratic nomination, but he has been a gross liability in recent months, as he has co-opted the hustings to maunder on about himself or to inject divisive racial overtones into the debate.
The next major female presidential candidate will be well advised to stuff any errant husband into a rucksack and chuck him down a laundry chute. If they are to be truly equal, women must fight their own fights and not rely on a borrowed spotlight.
advertisement
Hillary has tried to have it both ways: to batten on her husband’s nostalgic popularity while simultaneously claiming to be a victim of sexism.
Well, which is it? Are men convenient sugar daddies or condescending oppressors?
As her presidential hopes have begun to evaporate, Hillary has upped the ante in the crusading feminist department. Her surrogates are beating the grievance drums, trying to scare every angry female out of the bush.
From that rag-tag crew, she will build her army. Let the red flags fly! Hillary is positioning herself as the Crucified One, betrayed, mocked, flogged, and shunted aside for the cause of Ultimate Womanhood. But doesn’t this saccharine melodrama undermine the central goals of feminism?

Rob, the truth hurts, and the truth is Obama supporters are motivating Hillary supporters to vote for Republican Moderate John McCain.
Obama’s far left-wing candidancy is the reason why every Mainstream American should be voting for Hillary and/or McCain.
Every voter should vote for the best candidate, regardless of party affiliation.
To vote for a candidate, just because of his or her party affiliation, is a poor reason to vote for him or her.
If every American felt this way, Republican Abraham Lincoln or Democrat Franklin Delano Roosevelt would never have been elected president.

Hillary has changed personas and slogans desperately during her campaign, but one thing is for sure now:
sniper fire has been its central theme all the way.

No drama, huh? You need a rule like that when you have Wright, Ayer, Rezko, Farrakan, Auchi, Michelle, bittergate, and sweetie issues, not to mention zero track record and a con man’s pitch.
Good luck with the no drama rule, sweetie.

Doug, you are fooling yourself if you think that real Democrats always vote for Democratic candidates.
It didn’t happen in 1972, when Far Left McGovern ran for president, and you obviously are unaware of the Reagan Democrats.
Obama is so far left, Mainstream voters in Indiana, Kentucky, Ohio, Pennsylvania, and West Virginia have sent a clear message to the super delegates– that is, if you hope to put a Democrat in the White House on Election Date, vote for Hillary!

It was Donna Brazile who said “uneducated white” people. Not Clinton.
As a matter of fact, Donna Brazile said, “The New Democratic Party doesn’t need the white, blue collar workers and Latinos”!
Obama supporters have choired in with the “uneducated”, “less educated”, insults.
Although I am educated, I have learned a heck of a lot more in the “real” world, than I did in a classroom.
The college education is merely a “starter kit”!

JP, what’s funny is claiming that McCain is like Bush.
Mainstream Americans already know that McCain is a maverick Republican, like U.S. Senator George Voinovich of Ohio.

Senator Clinton was not talking about Obama. Why are you yelling at her without first analizing.
Very sensitive matter but for heavens sake it was not OBAMA. Left wing media and Obama supporters all jumped into the bandwagon and attack. It would be foolish if she ever meant this for Obama. These people always think of the WORD OFFENSE. Their mouths are also offensive, but nobody in Clinton’s clan, or the other party complained about offense. Is this another RACE Issue?
OFFENSE AND RACE have never been an issue in all the history of American politics, except the 2008 presidential election. These two words are becoming shields, that people could hardly say anything without a backlash.

As a matter of fact, Donna Brazile said, “The New Democratic Party doesn’t need the white, blue collar workers and Latinos”!
If you don’t have the intelligence to put your education to work for you then it really doesn’t matter how many degrees you have. Look at the ignorant political anal-list – they have degrees but not enough sense to come in out of the rain!

If RFK jr. understands what Hillary was saying, you should to. Much to do about nothing from baby Obama who isn’t big enough to dismiss it but would rather whine. If RFK’s son can, you and other “cult” members should too.
Posted by: kerry | May 24, 2008, 8:19 pm 8:19 pm
Hillary did not mention Obama in any way at all! His name did not come up.
She said campaigns have run all the way into June. She said Bill Clinton’s as well as RFK’s names as examples.
It was a poor choice, but no more than that.
The Obama camp did the same thing last week to Bush’s comments.
Some things are not “All About Obama”, no matter how far they try to stretch.
Adding words or insinuations are not facts!

Obama will use anything to stir the -—. This is what he calls change. When he does talk about issues he sounds like a fool. He has no idea what he is talking about and leaves people scratching their heads. Obama, leave the issues to someone that knows what they are doing and go back to church.

jake, it ain’t over yet. Not till the SD’s vote in Denver. They’ll have a good long look at the polls throughout the summer.
They certainly won;t get it with Obama. See McGovern ’72, Carter ’80, Mondale ’84, Dukakis ’88, and Kerry ’04 for similar examples.
See Clinton ’92, Clinton ’96, and Gore ’00 for similar examples if Hillary is selected.
Just depends if they want a Dem president or not.

Jake, you have mainstream voters in every state.
Mainstream voters are moderates.
They are oppose both far right and far left extremism.
This is why Obama was soundly rejected by West Virginians.
Obama has a problem of convincing mainstream voters that he shares their values.
His problem is that his association with Radical Left-Wing Pastor Jeremiah Wright has convinced mainstream voters in many states that Obama’s values are too far left for them to vote for him.
Posted by: USmarine0331 | May 24, 2008, 8:23 pm 8:23 pm
They pulled the same tactic last week when Bush didn’t talk about Obama.
Clinton didn’t talk about Obama this week.
If it is not “all about Obama’, then it’s somehow a reason for outrage.
Bush did not direct his comment at Obama, neither did Clinton.
She was using the camoaigns lasting into June as an example, when asked by a reporter why the Dems are trying to “Force” her out of the race. This is just to force her even harder. It’s a guerrilla tactic.
Posted by: kerry | May 24, 2008, 8:26 pm 8:26 pm
Since Obama knows this tape will come out I am sure he is trying to spin it as taken out of context. Everything he says is taken out of context. You would think he would have learned by now that telling the truth won’t get him elected. His truths scare the living daylights out of most people
Posted by: kerry | May 24, 2008, 8:26 pm 8:26 pm
Jake asked: “When did West Virginia become a state of mainstream voters? When did it become a swing state?”
They gave John Kennedy the nomination in ’60. It’s a heavily Democratic swing state that won’t vote for latte liberals. If they had voted for Gore he would have been president.
No democratic candidate has won the presidency without Wwest Virginia since 1916.

It is really sad that the pundits are STILL talking abou this story. It has been cleared up by Hillary and RFK Jr. What more do they want? Obama, his supporters, and the bias media is again trying to make Hillary quit and stop voters from voting. Obama and the DNC need to come to Hillary’s defense. The DNC and Hillary came to Obama’s defense when he was being attacked by McCain. I am truely disgusted with democrats. They will do anything to stop Hillary. They find her to be a threat and they know that she call still pull this off.
Posted by: kerry | May 24, 2008, 8:28 pm 8:28 pm
Obama’s real problem is not his race, but his association with radical left-wingers and his left-wing politics.
You might think that Obama’s sponsored Global Poverty Act is a good idea, but Mainstream Americans of all colors question why Obama wants to send $845 billion dollars to third world countries, instead of using that money for Americans.
Obama’s campaign promise to federally fund 20 promise neighborhoods in inner-city African-American communities doesn’t go over too well with rural Americans.
Of course, African-Americans like the idea.
They think that they will benefit enormously if Obama gets elected– and they are probably right.

I do believe that the dnc is no longer a relevant org. They should be disbanded and go down in history as the biggest political mistake made in America. The dems were not always like that but now I have to vote as a republican. Thank god McCain is moderate and honest.
I have to hope that Clinton goes independent. If she did I would vote for her. I will not vote for any ticket that has Obama on it. That would include a Obama/Clinton ticket.
Posted by: kerry | May 24, 2008, 8:33 pm 8:33 pm
The dnc is broken. I, like thousands upon thousands of other tee’d off democrats are leaving the dnc like an exodus. This primary was fixed from the beginning. Well, the dnc will see what happens when they disenfranchise voters and basically push out a viable candidate with no regard to its members. Obama is not a viable candidate. He is just a moveon and the dnc’s puppet. There is a growing movement from the dnc to McCain. The dnc is so arrogant that they truly believe that we will fall in line before the general election. This time that will not happen. They know it too. And, yes she can run as an independent. She could get enough signatures without lifting a finger to do that. By the time this general election is over so will the dnc. May they rest in peace.

Public officials should know better. Strip delegates, fine! Strip votes, never.
McCain is a decent man.
His patriotism is unquestionable.
The man spent half his life in the military, some of it as a POW! The other half was in public service.
McCain votes his own ideas. he has reached across the aisle many times. McCain will protect this country.
I can wait another 4 years. I will never vote for Obama.

I’m an Independent voting for Obama. McCain and Hillary are funded by special interests and are not working for the people. Obama is the first pol since the 60’s challenge us to dream one more.
Those who remember will not allow Hillary’s comments to go unpunished.
So sit back and just watch it play out. Folks might learn something important about this country and how “memories make things operate. What she said is OUTRAGEOUS and UNFORGIVABLE.
Hillary Clinton is “toast”… “Dead meat”… “Dead man walking”…
It matter not, what words one might choose to use……her candidacy for President, and for that matter VP is over.

If Hillary supporters stay home or vote for McCain instead of Obama on Election Day, that pretty well sums up how much they actually care about the issues. Those who vote for McCain want the Iraq war to continue, those that don’t vote at all don’t care if the Iraq War lasts 100 years. Those voters will do what they do. But they will also live with the consequences, as will their children and grandchildren. And that is just the fact of it.

Prisoners in concentration camps during WWII were exposed to so much violence and ruthless behavior that they became numb and unresponsive to it. There are even reports of prisoners being grateful that their violent experiences were not as violent as they could have been. The responses of the Clinton’s support base remind me of that phenomena. They have become so numbed by the clinton’s tactics that they fail to see the inhuman nature of them. This is unforgivable.

Gerry Venice, you speak the truth for so many of us that do remember, you couldn’t have said it any better about how so many of us felt. I was a 17yo living 10 miles from the Ambassador Hotel on June 5, 1968 and a week away from high school graduation. What should have been a happy occasion became a time of mourning. I’m still hurting from having those old wounds opened up yesterday.
You’re right, Senator Obama has challenged us to dream once again, to push the cynicism aside and to work together for what we believe in. We can make a difference and we know it.

I would vote for Carrot Top over McCain for president. Bush is a complete joke and McCain, as a Republican, will continue to follow basically the same path.
The Republican leadership has had eight years to get it together, but instead brought shame and more incompetence upon this country.
Voting Democrat isn’t going to be the magic bullet of change, but we really can’t afford to continue in this direction that John McCain will not be able to stray from if he is handed the presidency.

The “Hillary or John McCain” types show me that Obama should NOT have been so magnanimous towards Sen. Clinton. She certainly takes any gaffe by Obama as an excuse to pounce. And then to have to take all of this crap from her supporters? He’s a better man than I.
Posted by: jstock2008 | May 25, 2008, 1:31 am 1:31 am
noBama and USmarine0331 : Obama is NOT a radical lefty. His voting record is actually slightly to the right of Hillary’s (just to the left of the horrible Lieberman.) And McCain is no “centrist,” not even for a Republican. He’s voted 95% with Bush, which is as far right as humanly possible. Obama has run an excellent campaign, and should not be blamed or penalized for it. Grow up. The Clintons have lost this one. Rather than hold this against Obama, you should give the man his due. Again, grow up. Democracy is full of disappointment, and sometimes our preferred candidate doesn’t win. Obama will nominate better Supreme Court justices than McCain would. That alone should make us all want to vote Obama over McCain. You Clinton supporters who hate the media should remember these are the same people selling McCain as a “maverick.” He’s nothing of the kind; he’s a right wing hack.

Order, you are fooling yourself if you think that you can fool mainstream American voters that Maverick Republican Moderate John McCain is the same as George W. Bush.
Conservative Republicans are still not happy with John McCain being the Republican presidential nominee, and he has demonstrated many times his willingness to work with Democrats in the U.S. Senate, even though it caused him grief with the Bush Administration and its supporters.
I support Hillary, because she has the tremendous advantage of being married to Bill Clinton, the 42nd President of the United States, who ended the recession that gripped our nation when he first took office, and who left office with giant budget surpluses in the U.S. Treasury, and a 65 percent approval rating as president.
He also helped end the Asian Financial Crisis, that almost caused a global financial meltdown in 1997 and 1998, after Obama Supporter George Soros triggered a currency crisis through rogue speculating.
Bill Clinton did so by ordering the U.S. Treasury to join with the International Monetary Fund in a financial rescue plan to stabilize the currencies of specific Southeast Asian countries.
Bill Clinton will do whatever he can to help Hillary succeed.
Rookie U.S. Senator Obama will foreseeably make many mistakes, because of his inexperience.
If Hillary Clinton becomes the nominee, I will vote for her in November.
If Obama becomes the nominee, I will join millions of other Hillary supporters, who will vote for John McCain.
Why? Because a moderate Republican is a better choice for president than a Far Left-Wing Neo-Socialist.

There are too many similarities to go into but just a couple are their views on how we have a “strong” economy and their tax cuts for the wealthy. I’m not even going to get into this “mission accomplished” war.
It doesn’t look like Clinton is going to make it, but I WILL NOT support McAncient.

Order, you must think that most American voters are not aware that John McCain is a maverick moderate Republican.
He was also Bush’s political rival.
McCain is not a Neo-conservative or a conservative, which is why both groups don’t like him.
As for John McCain’s age, I value the wisdom of our elders, instead of scorning it.
America does not need inexperienced, Neo-Socialist Obama making mistakes with our national economy or our foreign policy.
Hillary is better than McCain, but McCain is better than Obama.
If Obama becomes the Democratic presidential nominee, I will vote for John McCain, just like millions of other Hillary supporters, who also refuse to someone who listened to Radical Left-Wing Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s anti-American and racist sermons for the last 20 years.

The last sentence to my last post should read, “If Obama becomes the Democratic presidential nominee, I will vote for John McCain, just like millions of other Hillary supporters, who also refuse to vote for someone who listened to Radical Left-Wing Pastor Jeremiah Wright’s anti-American and racist sermons for the last 20 years.

USmarine0331,
One more thing I am not, nor any of us, voting for “BILL” Clinton. His name is not on the ballot. Hillary’s is.. so I am depending on HER not her husband.
You people kill me with this “experience” crap. bush is the posterboy for how experience doesn’t mean a d@mn thing. He had all this “experienc” and look where we are. Our economy is sinking fast, the dollar is worth a dime, and our relationship with other nations of this earth couldn’t be worst. So just stop with this “experience” garbage.
Just because Hillary lived in the White House does not mean that I will automatically give her husband’s experience to her.
Come on man…..you’ve got to come at me better than that !!!!

Order, get real!
Bill Clinton is going to do whatever he can to help Hillary succeed.
If you don’t think that Bill Clinton is not a tremendous political asset to Hillary, you are just fooling yourself.

Axelrod is the one who helped to blow this up in the media. Hillary has said these same things before and no one batted an eyelash and NOW it’s news? Interesting timing to make it news.
EVERYONE can see that this is overkill.
The media is out of control and I will never vote for Obama because he gets everything handed on him and the media is in the tank for him and now it is so blatant that everyone can see it, not just Hillary supporters.

John,
The media is finally listening. Thanks to Axelrod. People were offended when Hillary said it before, but the news didn’t report it because they were busy trying to kill Obama’s chances.
Obama ’08!

First let me say,,I am for Hilary,,Obama has no agenda,, He running on nothing more than Corporate Media hype,
Every seems to be caught up in this Barack Obama Magic show. since the media is pushing Hilary out ,, and certain democrats, then 75% to 80% Hilary voter will do what Obama supports said they will do,, Obama support seen on CNN and Msnbc saying if obama don’t win the primary, they are going to vote for McCain, well since then Between certian Democrats and Corporate,,, there already a campaign of Hilary supporter,,
Even if Hilary decide to back Obama, up to 80% of hilary supporter will not vote for Obama or flat out vote for McCain,
I voted for Hilary and no matter what, I will not vote for Obama and better yet, I will not waste my vote, I will vote for McCain, I do think America is ready for a black President, Not Obama, and better yet ,, Obama voter now are saying if you don’t vote for him it Racist, I am not going to Obama because he is a Fraud, No more No Less, Not because he black or white, just because on every single one of his debates He could not answer a hard question for the simple fact they gave them to Hilary,, not only that, everything Hilary said she was going to do, Obama Agreed, with her every single time,, and uses her way on his campaign, Obama needs the other half of Hilary Votes, to win against McCain, and that is a fact, ,,,, Remember if Obama supporter can say they will VOte for McCain if Obama don’t win, then guess what All Hilary voter are uniting and doing the same thing,, what goes around comes around,

Obama supporters, you should try to leave the pro-Hillary, pro-McCain people alone. The more you aggravate them, the more blind they get with hate. An eye for an eye makes the whole world blind. Remember Gandhi’s quote? Be gracious just like your candidate.
If you give them less reason to hate Obama, some of them might see the light and vote for their best interests.
Also beware, there are republican trolls trying to split the democratic party. Don’t take all these Hillary supporters seriously. The outrageously one-sided and fact-free argument that encourages other Hillary supporters to vote for McCain over Obama gives them away.

Clinton’s comment wasn’t only heartless but planned and scarring… I think that she would do anything to win the nomination… Barrack is a stand up guy and a true leader and how he handles every off remark she says shows his character… I thought that a Obama/Clinton ticket was a guaranteed winner but know even Clinton’s supporters should look closer at there candidate
