David Caruso, Underrated Genius

User Comments

I saw this a while ago… Absolutely genius work… How this guy hasn’t won multiple Emmys I have no idea…

FIRST.
THANK U FOR MAKING THIS A GOOD WEEK!

They didn’t kill him off; if you watch the behind-the-scenes video, there’s an explanation. His acting stinks at times, but CSI Miami wouldn’t be CSI Miami without him.
I am, however, actively annoyed that they killed off Warrick in Vegas. He was my favorite or second favorite character over there, depending on when you ask and what mood I’m in. (I’m a geek so I like Grissom too).

A more mannered, vapid, overrated, scenery-chewer I’ve not seen in some time, unless, of course, you count Jim Carrey! A perfect choice for a serious “actor” who embodies our current standards of “entertainment.” I hear that he’ll be making a “special appearance” on “American Gladiators” next week!

I LOVE David Caruso on CSI: Miami!!!
Without Horatio, it is just another cop show. I love the interaction with all of the characters like Caleigh and Eric.
I think that it is the only show I watch on CBS. I am more of a PBS kind of gal.
I sure do miss Chuck Norris though. On Saturday night that was my free therapy. Then I watched Touched by an Angel on Sunday to get me ready for the week. By Saturday, I needed Chuck.

Awesome.
How this guy gets work is beyond me.

I must take exception to “his acting stinks at times”. He is absolutely stellar at what he is required to do. H holds the thing together. He is the calm voice of reason that keeps the investigation on the right path. After all, we only have 44 minutes to catch the bad guy or gal. We know this is not how law enforcement works, but it is pretty cool to think that is works that way. And besides, as a red-head, H needs those glasses…I think he needs a hat and sunscreen too, but then I am old and overly cautious.

You talking about David Caruso or Jake Tapper???

One of my favorite fantasies is getting David Caruso’s Horatio in the same script with Vincent D’Onofrio’s Bobby Goren and turning them both loose. Sheesh, that would be fun. You have almost-comatose Horatio and almost-manic Goren. The irresistable force and the immovable object.
Let the games begin.

I am also a big fan of Vincent D’nofrio…and having him and Caruso together would be a hoot!!!
I can see a stand-off though…H takes out his glasses and Bobby eats them. All without either of them breaking eye contact….over and over again….
FUN!!!

Come on. people. Can’t you find something to write about? BORING DUMB

Scot McClellan is an unlikely American hero!
Why speak ill of the ‘dead’ or near dead? lol
Tens of thousands of Americans have lost lives, limbs, mental health.
Hundreds of thousands of Iraqi women, children, old people, etc have been ‘shocked and awed’ and mass murdered UNPROVOKED.
And hundreds of billions of dollars have been wasted in an UNPROVOKED war.
And all this old man, Dole, is concerned about is loyalty to warmongers, who undermine the US Constitution and mislead the American people into a wasteful war? tsk tsk.
Scot McClellan is an American hero!
Even if by accident, every administration should have ‘checks and balance’ from within if the rest of government refuses to do it from without.
This administration has been trampling the US Constitution and robbing Americans of liberty in their stubborn, closed minded and visionless bungling into the future.
So if the Congress and the Courts will not ‘check and balance’ an out of control administration, then Americans should count their blessings that a ‘rat’ or two is in the White House to ensure vigilance in RESPECTING THE US CONSTITUTION!

Patriot, the history books will have a completely different view point of President George W. Bush. The invasion of Iraq was a continuation of the 1991 Gulf War. There was only a cease fire based on Saddam Hussein meeting several conditions. Saddam Hussein failed to comply with any of the conditions. So after 12 years, the UN Security Council issued its final ultimatum. Unfortunately, the UN Security Council did not have the backbone to follow through on its ultimatum. So President Bush issued his own ultimatum. Saddam Hussein called what he perceived to be President Bush’s bluff. President Bush kept his word.
One of the conditions of the cease fire was for Saddam Hussein to destroy his WMDs and provide proof of this destruction; or show proof that he no longer had WMDs. Saddam Hussein chose, instead, to allow his neighbors (and thus the UN Security Council) to continue to believe that he had WMDs.
President Bush has NOT trampled on the U. S. Constitution. Nor has he robbed Americans of their liberty — unless of course said Americans have communicated with and/or financially supported the terrorists.
Finally to say that President Bush is visionless is absolutely wrong. President Bush envisions Iraq and Afghanistan as thriving democracies; and role models for the other countries in the Middle East. He further envisions a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict. The spread of democracy throughout the Middle East in addition to a solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict is the ONLY way in which we will defeat the jihad against us.
