Well its either a desperate last ditch attempt by the Clinton campaign or there followers to throw dirt at Obama or its a GOP game to divide the Democratic Party, either way IMO Father Pleger’s comments should be given the respect and notice they deserve ie absolutely none.

“Without a doubt, their understanding of the nominating process was one of the keys to their success,” said Tad Devine, a Democratic strategist not aligned with either candidate. “They understood the nuances of it and approached it at a strategic level that the Clinton campaign did not.”
Careful planning is one reason why Obama is emerging as the nominee as the Democratic Party prepares for its final three primaries, Puerto Rico on Sunday and Montana and South Dakota on Tuesday. Attributing his success only to soaring speeches and prodigious fundraising ignores a critical part of contest.

Watching the video of this “man of God?”
I saw NO ONE get up and leave, in fact the just egged him on and sat there agreeing with him, nodding their heads. You know, no one said Hillary was perfect, and neither is Obama. Media please stop treating him as though he is pure as the new driven snow. Hillary probably won’t win the nomination, but she put up one hell of a fight for her supporters and the good of this country. Too bad people didn’t appreciate what she tried to do. I won’t vote for Obama unless Hillary shares the ticket with him. I’m not alone either. I hope the superdelegates sleep at night with their decision. I for one am very disappointed in the whole nominating process.

Obama has the mathematical advantage at this point in time but he got there BEFORE the “truth” about his character was revealed…notice his HUGE losses in states where he will need to have their support come the November Election. Obama doesn’t seem to care. He has stated they will vote for him anyway on Election Day. He is delusional. Americans are not as dumb as Obama thinks. This is his first “grave” mistake.
Obama is chained to his church and their beliefs that he can only say “I disapprove of the recent statements” that the Catholic Priest gave at his church on Sunday. The Priest not only made offensive comments to Hillary Clinton, but to all white people in the US especially the working class that supports this country. OBAMA believes in his church’s philosophy of “black supremacy” or he would have left the church a long time ago. This is his second serious mistake.
Now you have to really ask yourself how did Obama make it this far? The answer is simply he has a lot of support from people in the wrong places (Rezko, an Iraqi billionaire, black theology supporters, and a great deal of money given to superdelegates over the years and now they want repayment). A conspiracy plan put into effect after September 11, 2001, and we thought that the terrorists had left our country alone all these years!

Tad Devine was no doubt referring to the manipulation of the caucases by the Obama camp in his comments. Nice way to say they cheated.
I pray that Hillary doesn’t sign on as VP. I won’t vote for Obama under any circumstances and many others won’t either. He will drag her down with him and she will get all the blame for his failure to win.

Remember there’s a 3rd pastor lurking in the wings that the GOP will use in the GE. As the Sun-Times wrote — “Another person Obama says he seeks out for spiritual counsel is state Sen. James Meeks, who is also the pastor of Chicago’s Salem Baptist Church. The day after Obama won the primary in March, he stopped by Salem for Wednesday-night Bible study.”
Just do a search on You Tube for Meeks.

It’s not a game markymark. You, the DNC and the rest of the Obama supporters have to own up to what the voting democrats know: this IS Obama’s friend by choice. This is who he chooses to associate with. That is why Hillary is winning the national vote. This is why he loses the general election.
But the fascinating bit is the narrative arc: Pelosi sets up a candidate with money and support, pushes all the right buttons to set him against her chief rival, Hillary Clinton. With the delegate count soaring but losing in the popular vote, she steps in as the great power broker to stop the fighting, annointing herself as the queen while her knight errant is sent off to slay the monster but leaving her with the magic money machine and the voter list. She doesn’t care that he is losing; she needs him to create the percription of herself as the real power in the party.
Slick. Very Grendel. Or at least bad Disney.

Bishop,
I agree. ABC should have the full clip here. Pfleger goes on to condemn whitey in general. “They” think we all have been great beneficiaries, with 401K’s and trust funds. LOL
There is another tape of Pflger at St. Sabina’s church in which Rev. Wright was an honored guest. The occasion was the birthday of Maya Angelou. Pflger goes on a long rant praising Rev. Wright. It is on the web and could be easily linked here. It was the end of March. There are also sermons by Rev. Meeks out there.
These are all “spiritual” advisors to Obama. I would like to see them all put together in one piece so that the citizenry can really get the message. It is not one of conciliation and unity at all. It is a message of racial hatred and divisiveness.
Obama “transcends” nothing.

Rev. Pfleger preached to his congregation recently “We can recover!” “We can recover” and Obama echoes
“Yes we can”. “Yes we can”.
Along with Rev. Wright, Rev. Pfleger is also a CLOSE friend of Obama. Obama padded the state budget with earmarks grants of $225,000.00 to the Church of St. Sabina and to Rev. Pfleger.
Obama’s relationships to Rev. Wright, Rev. Pfleger, Farrakhan and others certainly sends a loud message that there will be changes in America, just not want you think they might be.

Obama called Jeremiah Wright his mentor who led him to Christianity. He had Fr. Pleger in the section of his site on his supporters from different spiritual traditions.
How can this be blamed on Clinton? These are not two overzealous supporters at the fringe. These videos were not made by some secret oppo research group.
This stuff just doesn’t manifest the “new politics” of unity and of hope. It has been denounced by now, but wow.

I think this minister was dumb for saying it in such a way…but anyone who doesn’t think Hillary’s tears were more about her situation and her let down that she wasn’t going to be crowned… isn’t watching what she is doing now.
This is about her…above all else… not about the soldiers…or the people without health insurance or the divisions among America being healed or the weight of wealthy tax cuts on the rest of our lives…or our standing in the world sinking…or our security…
It is about Hillary expectign ehr due and being let down…and now her continuing fight shows that her nomination is more important than all those things.
so yeah her tears were about HER. Think if Barack or John McCain or any other candidate had cried and said the same things as she did then…
NO ONE would say it was for their patriotism…and EVERYONE would say they are not suited to be President.

Imagine this close your eyes and picture John McCain crying in front of reporters and saying “This election is so important.”
Now do the same with Obama…imagine him with tears flowing saying “this election is so important. I love this country so much”
Would that be the person you think should be president.
Do you think that McCain was crying because he “loves his country so much” or that it’s just because he is so emotional about that he might fulfill his father’s legacy. Or when you picture Obama doing it…is it because you think he is so self inflated.
Now take another look at Hillary doing the same thing. This woman who is ignoring all the issues that might be lost because she deserves to win over the other nominees.

geeville- that cuts both ways. We had record turnout in my state so some of the counties had to move their state coventions to the next day due to space issues. The Clinton campaign is challenging the seating of these delegates (Obama netted the most) since they were not held on “the” specified day. David letterman Connan and all the comics made jokes of Clintons tears they where fake..
Clinton saying she found her own voice was fake!!
They Iron my shirt guys where a Clinton fake:
On January 7th, 2008, Nick and Adolfo pranked Senator Hillary Clinton during a campaign speech in New Hampshire. In front of a crowd of supporters, Clinton spoke the words, “Some people think they can bring about change…” Upon the word, “change”, Nick and Adolfo, stood up with signs reading, “Iron My Shirt” and proceeded to shout the slogan. Clinton then asked her staffers to “turn the lights on…it’s so dark…” She then said, “Ah, the remnants of sexism are alive and well,” to applause from the crowd, as the men were led away by Clinton’s security. Clinton managed to make light of the incident, asking if anyone in the audience had questions, or still wondered how one irons a shirt.
A journalist, Michael McAuliff of the NY Daily News, followed the pranksters from the speech area and found they had “Hillary for President” stickers on there car once there names where confirmed their myspace pages relveled they were Hillary Clinton volunteers leading to accusations they were pro-Hillary plants
IT WAS A STUNT!!!

It’s funny that the portion of the tape that appears on NBC and ABC is only the Hillary part, which a lot of people will agree with. Rewind the tape to the beginning (watch it on you tube) and you will see the rant isn’t just about Hillary. To paraphrase the priest: ALL you white people need to give up your entitlements (earned money, 401 plans, even the good jobs you were handed for no reason other than being white) if you ever expect to wash the sin of your ancestors from yourself. You are guilty by association for no other reason than your color. That is the real message here, and the one that should cause pause.

your comments on the dem party splitting because the left wing and african amaericans have “taken over” …because of your candidate?

IT IS ABOUT THE ISSUES.
IT IS ABOUT SOLDIERS DYING, CHILDREN WITHOUT HEALTHCARE OUR SLOWLY DEPLETING SAFETY IN THE WORLD BECAUSE OF A STUPID FOREIGN POLICY, ABOUT MIDDLE CLASS AMERICANS BEARING THE BRUNT OF WEALTHY TAX CUTS, ABOUT A WOMAN’S RIGHTS, ABOUT NOT SETTING THIS COUNTRY BACK FOR THE NEXT 30 YEARS BECAUSE OF RIGHT WING CONSERVATIVE JUDGES BEING APPOINTED, ABOUT THE WORLD MORE AND MORE HATING AMERICA AND THE TERRORISTS HAVING MORE AND MORE PROPOGANDA HANDED THEM FOR RECRUITMENT.
IT IS NOT ABOUT A CANDIDATE.
especially when Hillary’s views and platform is lifetimes closer to Obama’s than McCain’s.
to say that you should separate over a candidate and not the issues…is like a 5th grader…and most voters are actually adults…who vote for their country, their children and the ISSUES.
There is very little daylight between the issues… there is massive amounts of daylight between these two candidates…but the issues are what we fight for first…not the candidate.
To fight for the candidate alone in the general would be to lose no matter whom the candidate.

The last time the Clintons had to make a big exit was at the end of Bill Clinton’s second term as president — and they made a complete and utter hash of that historic moment. Having survived the Monica Lewinsky ordeal, you might have thought the Clintons would be on their best behavior.
Instead, a huge scandal erupted when it became known that Mrs. Clinton’s brothers, Tony and Hugh Rodham, had lobbied the president on behalf of criminals who then received presidential pardons or a sentence commutation from Mr. Clinton.
Tony Rodham helped get a pardon for a Tennessee couple that had hired him as a consultant and paid or loaned him hundreds of thousands of dollars. Over the protests of the Justice Department, President Clinton pardoned the couple, Edgar Allen Gregory Jr. and his wife, Vonna Jo, who had been convicted of bank fraud in Alabama.
Hugh Rodham was paid $400,000 to lobby for a pardon of Almon Glenn Braswell, who had been convicted of mail fraud and perjury, and for the release from prison of Carlos Vignali, a drug trafficker who was convicted and imprisoned for conspiring to sell 800 pounds of cocaine. Sure enough, in his last hours in office (when he issued a blizzard of pardons, many of them controversial), President Clinton agreed to the pardon for Braswell and the sentence commutation for Vignali.
Hugh Rodham reportedly returned the money after the scandal became public and was an enormous political liability for the Clintons.
Both Clintons professed to be ignorant of anything improper or untoward regarding the pardons. Once, when asked specifically if she had talked with a deputy White House counsel about pardons, Mrs. Clinton said: “People would hand me envelopes. I would just pass them on. You know, I would not have any reason to look into them.”
It wasn’t just the pardons that sullied the Clintons’ exit from the White House. They took furniture and rugs from the White House collection that had to be returned. And they received $86,000 in gifts during the president’s last year in office, including clothing (a pantsuit, a leather jacket), flatware, carpeting, and so on. In response to the outcry over that, they decided to repay the value of the gifts.
So class is not a Clinton forte.
But it’s one thing to lack class and a sense of grace, quite another to deliberately try and wreck the presidential prospects of your party’s likely nominee — and to do it in a way that has the potential to undermine the substantial racial progress that has been made in this country over many years.
The Clintons should be ashamed of themselves. But they long ago proved to the world that they have no shame.

Just curious
Obama has policies that aren’t 30 second soundbite material.
You need to read them…
the 30 second soundbite chances are has bad stuff attached to it because you can not solve the problems we have in these statements like “covering all Americans”
Healthcare …just as an example…
the biggest cost inflation and problem getting all people covered costs…
Hillary says more people will reduce the cost.
UGH
The biggest problems with our healthcare system is billing, and shortage of family docs, nurses and surgeons.
None of these are looked at and all of these are made worse by Hillary’s plan.
Period
but you wouldn’t know that would you.
the worst billing system?
Medicare… Massachusetts is finding this out now and why they are already massively increasing costs…and theyare a state with amn enormous medical resource…what do you think is going to happen to states without that?
a large increase in patients going often will exascebate the problem with staffing shortages…which are not addressed in Hillary’s plan…
not to mention the third issue malpractice insurance rates are through the roof…
those don’t hurt the doctors or hospitals… as neither do the redundant lawsuits…where the courts award 2 different financial rewards…
these get passed on to ALL doctors and hospitals and therefore the Patients.
Hillary does not address these or the increase that will come with an overloaded system.
Some of this is in Barack’s.
It is about cost and not the 30 second soundbite that gets you elected…or about stupid things reverends say.

Im white I have no guilt!
I look at the person not the colour for you to make such a statement mean you dont !
The fact Hillary is a female made me want to vote for her to start with but then i looked into Obama and he is the best person regardless of sex or race !

Hey Spock…
Obama’s WHITE Grandmother said she was scared to walk past a black man on the street. His white grandmother has used the “N” word. So does this mean Obama is a racist against black people because he loves his grandmother?

Obama supporters have been ridiculing, maligning, bullying and denegrating Hillary Clinton and her years of service, particularly to civil rights since New Hampshire.
Women have seen enough and aren’t interesting in his nomination. They will shift to McCain, stay home or write in Hillary in enough numbers that the dems lose.
We have a right to do that and to decide for ourselves what we think about the candidates, their campaigns and their qualifications for the job.

Its the “black” vote that put Clinton into office. And the Democrats will lose that vote in Nov. if Hillary STEALS the nomination from Obama.

Here we go again!! PLEASE GOD SPEAR US!
All you have proven to me is that there are a whole lot of churches out there that need new ministers or maybe they need to stop mixing the word or God with politics.
Churches need to stop leading the people in politics they should be teaching them about God and the bible.

Mark,
Not only will Hillary lose the “black” vote she will also lose the white educated voters who have had enough of the Bush/Clinton/Bush legacy that has run our country for long enough! We would rather have McCain than to keep the Bush/Clinton legacy going…

In reading some of the comments here, and those attached to the stories on the ABC Political page, some fanatic Obama supporters are trying to question whether Obama even knew this kind of stuff was going on at his church.
Of course he knew!!
Listen to the end of the video of Father Pfleger, right before he exits the pulpit he says this:
“I’m sorry…..I don’t want to get “YOU” in any more trouble…..the live streaming just went out again…”
Who on earth would “YOU” be if not Obama? Who else got into trouble over previous remarks made from that pulpit?? Obama did, of course.
His supporters will claim that Obama hasn’t attended church there in months due to his campaign schedule. OK, I’ll give them that. But if he does not attend in person and was not present for this service, why did the Father feel the need to extend that apology at the end??
Because he knew at some point, Obama WOULD be viewing his performance.
What I want to know is this: Does Obama have the Sunday services at Trinity live fed into his campaign jet? Or does he have them recorded so that he and Michelle can sit back and watch them after a hard day on the campaign trial preaching “Unity?”
I am sorry, too, but it is very hard for me to comprehend that Obama is not aware of what transpires at this church that he has belonged to for 20 years.

s.b,
“Women have seen enough and aren’t interesting in his nomination”
Yeah thats why NARAL endorsed Obama!
No democratic woman will vote for John McBush…
Many women who are avowed Hillary Clinton supporters are declaring they won’t vote for Barack Obama in the fall. I get the anger and the disappointment.
But to quote SNL’s Amy Poehler and Seth Meyers: Really? You’d rather vote for John McCain, a man who has a 25-year history of voting against a woman’s right to choose? A man who over the last eight years that NARAL has released a pro-choice scorecard has received a 0 percent rating?
A man whose campaign website says he believes Roe v. Wade “must be overturned”? A man who has vowed that, as president, he will be “a loyal and unswerving friend of the right to life movement”? Really?

Senator Obama’s supporters are getting desperate and spewing more vile hatred toward the Clintons. The Gallop poll showed Clinton ahead of Obama 52% to 43%. To say Obama is ahead in popularity is just so much hype. He will be sent back to his corrupt Chicago district in November. Senator Arlen Specter says a congressional hearing may be in order if all the votes are not counted in FL and MI.
Several prominent civil rights attorneys said Democrats must fully seat the FI and MI delegation or be subject to criminal proceedings.

I WOULD NEVER VOTE BHO.
THE SINGLE BIGGEST REASON HE WILL NEVER BE ELECTED IS THIS 20 YEAR TIE WITH A CHURCH/PASTOR OF HATE….FOLLOWED BY INEXPERIENCE.
EXIT POLLS WILL SHOW THE #1 REASON OBAMA LOST VOTES…BLACK LIBERATION THEOLOGY. RACISM AGAINST WHTTES.
PRESIDENT McCAIN SOUNDS GOOD! NO TRUE HILLARY SUPPORTER WILL EVER VOTE BO.

Debra, isn’t it funny how the pundits interpret those exit polls as white racism against Obama? They never seem to consider that perhaps its Obama’s racist background that’s the problem.
Prediction for Election night: Chrissy Matthews will be the first to say, “America just wasn’t ready to elect a black man.” Oberwoman can start writing his 10 minute rant now; he’s going to need it come November.

By the way, on FOX, Alan Colmes wife said she should suspend her campaign next week and sit back until 2 days before the convention and make her appeal to the super d’s who can change their minds right up until the last day!

Entitled is as entitled does. Hillary Clinton is interested only in states (Read votes) that benefit her. Her hysterical supporters seem to forget that “It’s the votes, stupid!” And frankly the collective votes- that count- are simply not in her favor. In other words, if the majority had wanted her to win they would have voted for her. But they did not and they voted not (for her). By the way, the majority of Hillary’s voting bloc voted for Bush in the last election. So, for those yelling that they will vote for McCain if Hillary does not receive the nomination, it’s not like you are Democratic loyalists anyway. So there!

According to Lynn Sweet’s blog, Chicago Sun-Times religion reporter Mike Thomas asked Cardinal Francis George’s office for a reaction. Yes, His weakness is seeing people suffer….It hurts him deeply.
Posted by: Mark | May 30, 2008, 12:10 pm 12:10 pm
Why…because being American means free to choose. I would have voted Hillary if she were on the ballot because I feel she is the better candidate. Smarter, hard working, determined, married to a political giant. I am not a party loyalist, I am an American first….and this American, like millions of others, will vote McCain if not Hillary.
Well, yes, I agree that Father Pfleger’s opinions are Father Pfleger’s opinions.
However, everyone in that church on Sunday seemed to be in total agreement with what he was saying…I did not observe one dissenter in the crowd.
Are we supposed to believe Obama, as a member of that church, would have been the lone dissenter had he been present? I think not…
Like the Father was implying in his speech:
If White Americans are to be held accountable for the sins of their ancestors because of the benefits they are presently reaping in today’s society from those sins, then Obama can likewise be held accountable for the opinions and rhetoric of those whose counsel he has sought in the past, and who has spoken on his behalf during his campaign.
Mark,
LOL. You think he’s the only one that cares about people? This guy is nowhere on track towards sainthood, so quit it with the idolism stuff, it’s really scary.
You want to know what his weakness is? Being naive and trying to be friends with everybody, including people like Wright and Co. It’s like watching a teenager getting on with the wrong crowd. He has poor judgment, and that is not the leadership this country needs.
Ignore what Obama’s friend says about Hillary and listen to what he says about white people, their culpability and the debt they must repay. This is part and parcel of the doctrine to which Obama has ascribed for over 20 years. He hides it well, but sometimes it slips out. Remember, even his grandmother is just a typical white person…The house that Obama has built rests on a rotten foundation.
SandyB…thankfully, millions of Americans have figured Obama’s poor judgement issues out. He is toast…Soros can’t buy him the Presidency, even if they outspend McCain 4 to 1. Liberal radicals WILL NOT take over this country.
LOLapalooza,
More proof your reading from McSames script
“Being NAIVE and trying to BE FRIENDS with everybody..”
You dont like Obama you dont have to but be honest about your choice and your intet!
Why hide behind Clinton ?

Kate, awww you’re so not entertaining anymore…
I think I’ll have to watch that Obama Reverend video again just to entertain myself until Kate makes a better joke we can all poke fun of
I have a premonition…Act III, Obama’s speech…after Act I…”I could no sooner reject Rev. Wright”, to Act II, “I never knew he believed these things, I’m kicking him to the curb”…to Act III…”I will never be member of Trinity again”. Seriously, don’t you think he’ll be requesting more free air time to give us some pithy long winded speech in the coming days?
That’s right BO, spin it…say “what you have to say as a politician”, just like your old uncle Wright says.
“The only thing you post is your own opinion which really doesn’t mean much…”
yeah that’s so un-democratic. That’s exactly what Obama and his supporters want America to be.
It’s like George W. fascism all over again
“if you’re not for us, you’re against us!”
The rest of your post was really funny Mark, beyond words I cannot even think of, so I will let it stand on its own merit.
Hillary condemned the anti-American statements Reverend Wright had made from his pulpit at Trinity Church.
I don’t remember her condemning the congregants.
As you say, THE MEDIA put their church and ex-pastor on trial.
Should not the media have been the one Father Pfleger chose to ridicule??
Kate — wake up and smell the roses. The democratic party is on record as saying they would pass legislation to allow McCain to run if necessary. It’s almost certain to be unnecessary because McCain was born in a US compound.
Anything else like like to smear around today?
Posted by: Thomas | May 30, 2008, 12:30 pm 12:30 pm
Kate,
they changed the law recently, so yes, John McCain can run.
But at least you know how to look up things on the internet! I’m so proud of you dear! But try harder next time sweetie… you can’t succeed without failing a 1000 times
Your Uncle LOL
It always astounds me that those who profess to uphold Christian standards, like the Rev. Pfleger, are the least likely to actually behave according to them. All the mockery and satire in churches nowadays would seem to indicate that they want to entertain instead of doing what they’re supposed to: providing moral guidance.
Krissy K
I talk for myself not Obama…
Read this blog and you will see why half the people slagging off Obama are really McBush supporters pretending to be Hillary Clinton supporters.
If I misjudged you I am sorry !
But given this part of your post:
“Do you even know any of McCain’s stances on the issues??? Of course you don’t, hence the silly names you people invent. Just proves your stupidity.
I have looked at McCain, it is what the sane white working class does, look at the person and not the party. Afterall I might have to vote for him and because it is a vote against Obama.
Spare me with the woman’s rights thing. (another scare tactic) There will be a democratic congress. And if you looked at McCain, you would know that I am not worried”
i KNOW YOU ARE ONE OF THEM I HAVE READ MCBUSH’S POLICY AND I JUST SEE MORE OF BUSH! NO THANKS… SCARE TACTIC HIS WEB SITE SAYS WE MUST AND WILL OVER TURN “ROE V WADE” HE VOTED FOR THE WAR AND KEPT IT GOING AND IT SHOWS HIS JUDGEMENT.

I just don’t get it.

The working class and middle class are hurting now with the high cost of gas, utilitites, health care, food costs, etc. Just where is he going to come up with the money to “FIX” everything. Other than money fixes, his solutions are few and far between. Let’s face it. Obama is a socialist.

John McCain believes that shaping the judiciary through the appointment power is one of the most important and solemn responsibilities a President has, and certainly one that has a profound and lasting impact. When he was running for President in 1999, he promised that, in appointing judges, he would not only insist on persons who were faithful to the Constitution, but persons who had a record that demonstrated that fidelity. A President should have confidence in the judicial philosophy of those he is appointing to the bench.************ That is why he strongly supported John Roberts and Samuel Alito for the Supreme Court and that is why he would seek men and women like them as his judicial appointees.********************

Both candidates have about the same popular vote (fact). Yet, it is time for Hillary Clinton to leave? Even in States where Hillary won more popular vote, Obama got more superdelegates and you have to ask yourself why? Why would people vote against the wishes of their state? I would not want these people representing me! Hillary won in Nevada 51% of the vote to Obama 45% of the vote yet Obama got 14 delegates and Hillary 11? Hillary won in Texas and yet Obama received more delegates?
After Obama’s radical black religious close friends made the many famous sermons saying that white people are worse than trash, he has been losing by huge numbers….65% to 30% Kentucky for Hillary; 67% to 26% West Virginia for Hillary; Pennsylvania 55% to 45% for Hillary. Yes, Obama won North Carolina but that was clearly projected by all because of the huge number of “black” registered voters in the state and 94% voted for him. Obama’s religious beliefs are becoming crystal clear—if he didn’t believe the black superiority philosophy he would be in a church that does teach “hate” on Sundays. SO WHY ARE THE DEMOCRATS PUSHING TO HAVE THIS MAN AS THEIR NOMINEE—THAT IS THE REAL QUESTION? Its money, folks. Obama’s “bundlers list” and a little extortion—I get the nomination and you get the list? I will never vote Democratic again!

Even to comment on this episode is a waste of time. No matter who wins the Democratic nomination, the country and the party will remain divided along the racial lines. Unfortunately, Clinton nor Obama appear to be the better candidate that can unite the Democrats and there party. And please if you think McCain, Clinton or Obama can unite the country we live in think again!!! it’s every one for Themselves

It really doesn’t matter if Hillary stays in this until the convention or not. The division in this party will not be pasted together once they announce BO as nom. I cannot see any of Hillary’s enlightened supporters EVER VOTING/SUPPORTING B. HUSSEIN. There is nothing they can do….BO couldn’t buy votes and no matter what the liberal media shoves in our faces, American will pull the right lever in Nov. If not Hillary, then McCain!

The DNC hates Hillary so much that they have ignored every red flag about Obama.
With every passing day we see how weak and inexperienced Obama is, with constant gaffes and flip-flops on foreign policies.
And once again we have more evidence of Obama’s racist church, pastors and advisors. Obama’s choices…
I suppose the DNC thought with Obama’s charm and color he was the best candidate they could buy.
I have more faith that McCain will bring the changes we need.
I simply do not believe Obama’s lies.

The Democratic Party has damaged itself with the promotion of Senator Barack Obama as the preferred candidate. Obama is a SOCIALIST/MARXIST and has belittled or insulted 2/3 of Americans. We need a true Democrat that cares for all American families. We need Senator Clinton. OBAMA WILL LOOSE IN NOV. He seems to think as his church does, that he is a CHOSEN PERSON because of his race. He is buying the superdelegates. This was confirmed by the DNC fund.

BO may be the preferred nominee of the Democratic partisans but he will lose more and more credibility as time runs by.
If I just look at the candidates : Mc Cain, Hillary (she is not out yet), BO, I kind of see the sign of time. None of them represents the perfect type of candidate one wants .
Mc Cain is old and a moderate republican, which is not the ideal type of conservative for the real conservative republicans; HC, is a woman and many hate to see a woman in the White House, BO is a black-white candidate with some questionable background (is he muslim ? that kind of thing).
The common point is that none is perfect according to the standards of the perfect ideal : a male probably, with a good solid background, strong and what have you. That does not exist in these candidates.
So the quality that could be best for the coming years should be about having competence and capacity to help America to take the turn of the new century :
dealing with global economy , foreign policy that deals well with geopolitics, climate change etc. Given the situation, all that may be expected from a president is to contain the crisis while developing new strategy for the present and the future.
I see those qualities coming from a candidate like Hillary Clinton.
BO is not too viable with geopolitics, and his economic stance is not very clear since he is the many leaders candidate, his vision cannot be a strong overall view with a real governing philosophy.
Mc Cain is bound to conservative fiscality and if the economy is in a crisis, it may not be helpful for the country as a whole. His position about the war is so far not very encouraging for most of americans.
For those reasons I only see Hillary Clinton. That’s my position.

When are you going to realize all he is is a slick POLITICIAN!
THIS is a clue to his MORAL COMPASS and POLTICIAL WILL.
THIS IS the REASON I WILL NEVER VOTE FOR HIM!
CHANGE is not enough to vote this man into office!

Period.

We had record turnout in my state so some of the counties had to move their state coventions to the next day due to space issues. dl,
David letterman Connan and all the comics made jokes of Clintons tears they where fake..

The most appalling thing about Pfleger’s comments has nothing to do with Hillary Clinton. Watch the whole thing. Listen to what he says about white people. Note the enthusiastic reaction in the pews. This is sick. And Obama partook of it for 20 years…It speaks volumes about his character.
If my party nominates Obama, I will do everything I can to oppose it and him. This doctrine of racial invective is beyond disgusting.

Nicholas
your comments on the dem party splitting because the left wing and african amaericans have “taken over” …because of your candidate?
are you kidding.

Kate if the “iron my shirt” stuff that Clinton and supporters are using to say there was sexism…was actually a stunt/joke by Clinton supporters…
that would be really bad.
I hope that is not true…because I have seen everyone from Lanny d…to KIKI and and the rest use that over and over
I can’t believe it would be true. If it was (and I would like to hear more) than the two who did it should be shown.
A candidate can’t control the people underand around them but they sure shouldn’t use something like that for such a politically wrong talking point.
That would be… really bad.

So there!

Dear Comrades, Maybe Mr. Obama will be able to have Mr. McCain’s name stricken from the ballot so that he may run unopposed in the GE?

“However, everyone in that church on Sunday seemed to be in total agreement with what he was saying…I did not observe one dissenter in the crowd.”
Sandyb after the abc debate why wouldnt they hillary Clinton condemed their church and their ex Rev… the media put them on trial what would you really expect from them ????

I have a premonition…Act III, Obama’s speech…after Act I…”I could no sooner reject Rev. Wright”, to Act II, “I never knew he believed these things, I’m kicking him to the curb”…to Act III…”I will never be member of Trinity again”. Seriously, don’t you think he’ll be requesting more free air time to give us some pithy long winded speech in the coming days?
That’s right BO, spin it…say “what you have to say as a politician”, just like your old uncle Wright says.
Posted by: Debra | May 30, 2008, 12:25 pm 12:25 pm
“The only thing you post is your own opinion which really doesn’t mean much…”
yeah that’s so un-democratic. That’s exactly what Obama and his supporters want America to be.
It’s like George W. fascism all over again
“if you’re not for us, you’re against us!”
The rest of your post was really funny Mark, beyond words I cannot even think of, so I will let it stand on its own merit.
Posted by: LOLapalooza | May 30, 2008, 12:25 pm 12:25 pm
Hillary condemned the anti-American statements Reverend Wright had made from his pulpit at Trinity Church.
I don’t remember her condemning the congregants.
As you say, THE MEDIA put their church and ex-pastor on trial.
Should not the media have been the one Father Pfleger chose to ridicule??

Kate — wake up and smell the roses. The democratic party is on record as saying they would pass legislation to allow McCain to run if necessary. It’s almost certain to be unnecessary because McCain was born in a US compound.
Anything else like like to smear around today?

Kate,
they changed the law recently, so yes, John McCain can run.
But at least you know how to look up things on the internet! I’m so proud of you dear! But try harder next time sweetie… you can’t succeed without failing a 1000 times

It always astounds me that those who profess to uphold Christian standards, like the Rev. Pfleger, are the least likely to actually behave according to them. All the mockery and satire in churches nowadays would seem to indicate that they want to entertain instead of doing what they’re supposed to: providing moral guidance.

SAY WHO YOUR REALLY FOR AND HAVE A REAL DEBATE DONT HIDE BEHIND HILLARY!

If McCain will have to face a court battle regarding his birthplace requirements, and the Michigan and Florida delegations file lawsuits over seating their delegates……….
Then by all means, let the lawsuits begin!!!

I just don’t get it.
Wright, Meeks, Pfleger, all smart, schooled, and politically aware.

I never voted for a President that was “spiritually advised” by Graham or Falwell. And, for the same reasons, I will not vote for a President that was “spiritually advised” by Wright or Pfleger.
Any would-be-leader of the free world that has given their ear willingly to any of these “men of God” who all have preached intolerance, hate, and division does not deserve my vote.

Senator Obama’s whole campaign has been “I can fix it with taxpayers’ money”. The working class and middle class are hurting now with the high cost of gas, utilitites, health care, food costs, etc. Just where is he going to come up with the money to “FIX” everything. Other than money fixes, his solutions are few and far between. Let’s face it. Obama is a socialist.
SENATOR CLINTON HAS BETTER SOLUTIONS.

WORST PEOPLE EVER:
Roberts and Samuel Alito
