Sign of the Times? Clinton At Half Price
ABC News’ Kate Snow reports: Surely this can’t be a good omen for Senator Hillary Clinton.
The pundits can argue all they want, her campaign may protest that she’s still in the game, but at the "America!" souvenir shops at Dulles International and Reagan National airports, the signs are clear as day.
"Sale!" "Clearance!" "50% off!" they blare.
A pink t-shirt with an image of Clinton’s head and the words "Madame President 2008: Making History."
A black t-shirt that reads "Anyone but Hillary" with a drawing of the famous "scream" painting.
The "Hillary for President" bobblehead. And oh yes, even the Hillary nutcracker, "with stainless steel thighs." All are marked half off.
A store employee says the products went on sale last Friday.
He says it’s not meant to be a political statement, just a practical business decision. Seems sales of Clinton merchandise have slowed way down since last week’s loss in North Carolina and squeaker in Indiana.
Not every Clinton souvenir is on sale, just the items they have large stocks of in the warehouse. The employee said the store is worried they might get stuck holding a lot of merchandise they can never sell.

I’m surprised there are still buyers.
Clinton will lose. Pelosi, Dean, Soros, Kennedy and the others will win. Obama is just a puppet for the rest. If he’s elected, his strings will be pulled by the entire left-wing of a once-proud party.

Bob Barr just announced his run for the Presidency. So, now that Bob Barr has dropped the RNC and become Libertarian, WHEN is Hillary going to drop the DNC and become Independent and beat everyone in the general election?!! This race just keeps getting more interesting by the minute!

Sen. Obama is 43 points behind in WV and 30 points behind in Nebraska! Doesn’t that tell you something about our Democratic front runner’s precarious situation? Sen. Obama seemed have appointed himself to be the Democratic nominee! He needs the super-delegates as much as Sen. Clinton does! Isn’t this kind of political theatre that Sen. Obama promised to stop?

Just because the man is half black and half white does not make him a winner. I am white and I am voting for him. Shame on all of you.

WHEN ASKED
Which should be more important in choosing a party’s nominee for president?
Delegate count OR Popular vote – 80% Said Popular vote
And
All Obama and his supporters said the the Superdelegates should not go against the WILL OF THE PEOPLE well the popular vote is the WILL OF THE PEOPLE.

If a white person vote for Clintons (like in West Virginia) it is racist …when 92% BLACKs vote for a BLACK MAN over someone they 2 years ago still Called lovingly ” the Fisrt Black President” and that is NOT racist???????? Am I missing something here ???? this is totally crazy ….White is the only race that is capable of being RACISTS?????? although Obama sat in Wright’s Church for 20 years and listened to those “whites injected blacks with HIV” stuffs , he somehow immuned to that??? This country is getting more and more stupid every day ….I use to have sympathy for the blacks people , but somehow , I see the Clearer pictures now, those who cry WOLF are NOT always the victims….it it weird , but true …HOW in the Heck someone got 92% support from an ethnic group is totally beyond me …and this is 92% over the Clintons ( the first Black President ) now , not just anybody ….There need to be more HOnesty in America ,….call it for what it is , black and white alike , if it is racist , then please have the courage to call it what it is …if a white person vote his color , you call him racist , now some of the 92% of the black just vote their color and no one has the gut to call it RACIST…the media is coward , the whole liberal wing of the DEM. is coward and even the REPUBLICANs are coward …in trying to be politically correct , in trying to carter to the Ultra-Liberals San Franciscan , in trying to prevent another black riot, people are loosing their Spines….they became coward….God Help Them …because they are sure NOT trying to help themselves …..My view about blacks changed from this Election…I will vote Mc Cain if not Hillary …..Enough of this injustice and discriminative stuffs…Enough of this cowardice….

So if West Virginia and Kentucky do not vote for your boy Obama than so many Obama supporters say they are RACIST. That is the problem with this election, so many Obama supporters are the ones who are RACIST and use the RACE card when ever someone does not agree with them. It is so many Obama supporters that have divided the party and have thrown the Clinton’s under the bus just like Obama did to his Grandmother and his Pastor. The Clinton’s have done more for minorities than anyone else. People like you are responsible for what is going to happen and that is most of us Hillary Clinton supporters will now vote for McCain. Anyone but Obama.

Hillary’s political career is over if she doesn’t whole heartedly campaign for Obama. He’s got millions of supporters/donors who would be so angry that any democrat who challenged her senate seat in NY would get flooded with cash. Even if she does go full tilt for Barack, if her base doesn’t turn out in the general election for Obama she’s still toast. Her political survival depends on Obama winning the general election.

Nat Turner …Sometimes you have to have the gut to make hard choices….
1/ John Mc Cain made the hard choice of enduring torture and NOT collaborated with the NOrth Vietnamese and came home a war heroes .
2/ Hillary made the hard choice of enduring the Bias of the party Powers and the media that are Biased against her and fight on for what is right and we support her , as well as most Whites, working-class, women , seniors (your moms and dads that is) , Latinos, Asians , people from Ohio , Phila. , Texas….
3/ Leonidas of the 300 spartans made the hard choice of fighting to the finish agains the Persians and thus be remembered ’til this day..
4/ Abraham Lincoln made the hard choice of going against Slavery and we had the US of A that is free for all today …
5/ I will make the hard choice to call RAcism when I see it , in the case white agaisnt Blacks OR in the case of 92% of blacks voters against a White woment and if that choice means that I will stay alone on a beautiful island away from all ya San Franciscan elitists than so be it……Better to be alone and hang around fools….
The one who cry Wolf is NOT always the Victims…ha ha ha ….I can see how that is true now….

Well , Nat Turner …Let me give you some History lesson here …yes , you do not have a choice to become POW , but when you did become one , you as son and grandson of Admirals will have the choice of going on TV , voluntarily selling out your buddies and country the way Jane Fonda and John Kerry did OR , say NO to that Communist propaganda craps and head straight to the torture chamber…Now Is that Not a hard choice ?? …well , may be NOT for someone like you who will probably follow Hanoi Jane’s example …but to endure torture is hard for anyone who is flesh and bone , unless you are not ready to make that choice …So , there you have it …spin it all you like …Your Obama Candidate will not stand a slim chance against a WAR HERO , much less after listening to those “God Damn America” stuffs …..As a matter of fact , beside the Clintons who have guide us through the “longest prosperity “in US history , I do not see anyone capable enough against MC Cain…Obama ???? , Oh Pleazzzzzzzzz……The black vote would probably give him 10-15% in the General Election MAX…..Wake up and smell the next 4 years of Republican…..

SEN. CLINTON STILL CAMPAIGNING IN WV AND KY AND WILL WIN BIG IN THOSE STATES”
I suspect ABC news is aware, as we all are, that Clinton will win WV/KY by 40+ points. That has been true since last year, so it is not news to the SDs. They also know it will make no difference.

At this point, my state has voted and we supported Hillary. We have a vote in the General Election and many of us will vote for McCain. Obama is running on the same campaign slogan as GWB. Change. Fool me once, shame on you. Fool me twice and shame on me. McCain can be trusted to do what is right. I will trust McCain before Obama. The press has tried all kinds of ways to anoint Obama by comparing him to Lincoln. What a shallow focus. Abe Lincoln ran on a specific platform. He took unpopular stances and stood his ground. He has appeared before the supreme court 400+ times. What has Obama accomplished? 20+ years in Wright’s church and oratory with the help of teleprompters! What a shame! McCain will not go for swift boating but I hope others take up his cause. Obama must be defeated in the General if he survives the primary. We cannot afford to have another newbie like GWB.
Posted by: Voter | May 12, 2008, 10:18 pm 10:18 pm
I do not agree with windrider. The democratic primaries are almost always won with pandering. You pander to the state party bosses, you pander to the super delegates, you pander to the media. Hillary is not a panderer and that is the reason for her loses! Just because you are good at pandering, does not make you a great president! GWB did a good job pandering also and that is why McCain lost against him. Now McCain has managed a win and he will not pander to the media. Obama meanwhile is a fabulous panderer! He pandered to Edwards in the first debates before Iowa, got the other candidates to withdraw from Michigan so Hillary would look bad in Iowa. He pandered to the media and got the superdelegates to endorse him. Does this mean that he will make a great president? It will be the exact opposite. He might become a president but carrying out the job of a president requires more than pandering! I hope Americans realize the difference between a pandering candidate and a real candidate!

I am just ###### Obama dodged two or three dates offered to him in Oregon to debate. I guess he feels he has this in the bag, but I loved how inadequate he always sounded next to Hillary and they only had 3 one on one debates this whole time. He always ran and dodged her, from the beginning. He knows it’s hard for us to understand his policy of “uh, um, uuh”.

SO LETS HOPE VOTERS CAN SEE A BARGAIN!!!
Considering the mainstream media has done nothing but do their best to give Hillary a bad time through out the campaign, the lady is doing good! Especially as Dean has let his personal fight and petty feelings of the Clinton’s affect his judgement…smacks of total unprofessionalism to me!
Everyone knows that Hillary will win most, if not all, of the remaining states, she will call for FL & MI to be acknowledged and make a clear case of being the most electable, with the ability to win and become the next President! So come on Super delegates, ignore the negative bias of the press and DNC, Obama has too many corrupt connections and cannot be trusted! Further more, the Repulicans with use all the skeletons in his closet to prove their case, making good press, but very bad for the country.

Like we have to choose which self-serving crook to elect–Obama, Clinton, or McCain. Do we choose which one is the least corrupt? Ron Paul is the only one that sees the true picture and has the courage to tell the truth about our horrendous, corrupt system.
