The Mystery of “The War Room” Clip

Mickey Kantor — Bill Clinton’s Trade Representative, a supporter of Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, and an informal adviser to her campaign — once seemed to have some not-so-nice things to say about the Hoosiers his chosen candidate is working so hard to pursue.

As seen in The War Room, watching election returns come in, Kantor seems to say in hushed tones to James Carville, “Look at Indiana, wait, wait – look at Indiana. 42-40. It doesn’t matter if we win. Those people are s—. Excuse me."

You can watch it HERE; the moment comes about 4:45 into the clip.

I posted the above yesterday but had the post taken down amidst some debate over its authenticity. I’m traveling and the Clinton campaign said that the clip had been doctored.

(If I’m traveling and a credible person tells me something on the blog is wrong, I will — very rarely — take down the blog post until I’m in front of a computer and can verify it. In this instance, I had watched the clip and read contemporaneous accounts that Kantor was referring to Indianans, plus I had spoken to the Clinton campaign which never denied the authenticity of the clip. In retrospect, I shouldn’t have taken it down, but I was running through an airport at the time.)

Kantor today denied to the Huffington Post that he had called Hoosiers "s—." "I was talking about the polling and not the people," Kantor said.

(He also denied the legitimacy of another clip, which certainly seems doctored, in which he uses a horrible racial slur. I’d seen that clip — not sent to me by anyone affiliated with the Obama campaign, I hasten to add — but I had not posted it.)

Ben Smith of Politico today talked to D.A. Pennebaker, director of "The War Room," agreed that the racial slur was not Kantor’s, that someone had doctored the video in that other clip.

As for the "Those people are s—" line, Pennebaker told Smith that Kantor had said, "he says they must be s—ing in the White House."

Watch the clip, what do you think he said? When "The War Room" came out other folks interpreted Kantor to be impugning Indiana residents.

In The Washington Post’s review of the film in 1993, critic Desson Howe referred to "a Mickey Kantor comment about the people of Indiana (when it looks as though Clinton’s ahead in Dan Quayle’s state)."

And a 1995 story in the Sydney Morning Herald said that "As for the good folk of Indiana, they are still recovering from the 1993 documentary War Room, which revealed the grim truth behind the Clinton election campaign. It showed Mr Kantor bursting in on election night to tell other campaign staffers that incredibly, Mr Clinton was doing well even in Republican Indiana. ‘And those people are s—!’ he declared breathlessly."

Were I not currently eating a chicken sandwich at Liberty East Restaurant in Charlotte, NC, while working on a World News piece about the economy and the candidates, I would go to Blockbuster, rent a copy of The War Room and settle this matter as much as possible.

As it is, all I can do is post this to explain why I took down the original blog entry, and re-post it with all the added context above. Not good enough, but the best I can do from Liberty East Restaurant.

- jpt

UPDATE: Let me make this clearer: I NEVER posted the doctored video with Kantor using the N-word.

UPDATE: Please see THIS POST for the official transcript that shows Kantor was not impugning Hoosiers.

Thanks for the explanation Jake. I think a better way of handling it would be to add an update telling everybody what you’re up to. This is New Media…stuff travels fast…people want their information yesterday.
At least a good thing that came out of this is you probably pissed Matt Drudge off. He still hasn’t updated the broken link.

Jake,
This is all confusing to me. If the authenticity of a material is in doubt, why post it? This is only adding to the negativity of the process that the voters are tired of.

Posted by: Mark | May 2, 2008, 1:50 pm 1:50 pm

There is only one explanation for this, The Obama campaign doctored this video back in ’93 when the press first reported on it.
He will do anything to discredit the Clinton’s good name! Even travel back in time!!!

Posted by: Buck | May 2, 2008, 1:55 pm 1:55 pm

Well put it on the news and let people see it for themeselves. let them judge this clip just like you did with the Rev. Wright clips! Turn about is fair play don’t you think???

Better yet let hims peak at the Press Club. Hey, anyone see Wright lately? Strange how he disappears, reappears, and then disappears.

Jake made the Clip avail in his post just click the link.
Thius is the clip that was not doctored or enhanced.

And this is important why?

Posted by: Bishop | May 2, 2008, 2:09 pm 2:09 pm

This is ridiculous. All you have to do is LISTEN to the clip & read his lips. He is CLEARLY saying “Those people are “s—-ing.” Whatever happened to responsibility and accountability? I shouldn’t be surprised…

Posted by: ihma | May 2, 2008, 2:09 pm 2:09 pm

The original film, “The War Room”, is available anywhere. Watch the original film and watch the “doctored” one – they are identical.
Hillary’s campaign advisor called Indiana people “s***”.
Turn up the volume at the end on the original film and you can hear it. There’s even a Wikipedia on him making this statement – and the entry was made a long time ago. When he said this in the film, it was mentioned in the mainstream press.
He said it.

jpt: “I posted the above yesterday but had the post taken down amidst some debate over its authenticity.”
Remember that the destruction of Dr. Dean’s campaign was begun by network broadcast, just before the Iowa caucuses, of somebody’s old home movie of Dean making a casual comment to someone that the Iowa caucuses aren’t really democratic.
However you THINK the doctored video got to you, this sounds like John Kerry’s Iowa op, doesn’t it? And Kerry=Obama.
Don’t know why you post stuff like that, anyway — or, if you must, why not check the authenticity FIRST — when it all can be altered.
I think candidate Obama and his uber-white handlers stir up “racism” as much as they possibly can — first with Wright, now ABOUT Wright, and by any other means they can manage.
The whole Obama campaign, especially the dread John Kerry and his “black man” blabla, is disgraceful flim-flam. Why are you HELPING ‘em?
How about some video of Alice Palmer and Tony Rezko, instead? Or home movies of Obama and the Ayerses yucking it up at those “education” meetings? Sheesh.

Jake, I am in a state real close to you in nc. and we all know the kantor family and the good works they have done.
Mickey Kantor is one of the good guys
real smart guy.
and if he decides he really wants to find out who did it and sues
heaven help them.
cause he will get them.
he is a real smart and decent man.
is there no transcript or script to that movie.
if he had said that-it would have been exposed a long time ago.
I hope the smart people of indiana can see through this and see it for what it is.

Posted by: nickberry | May 2, 2008, 2:21 pm 2:21 pm

I take offense at the accusation that Obama supporters are pushing this story. That is an outright lie, to be completely honest I think that this is as much of a non-story as Reverand Wright, Ayers AND Bosnia. Get off of it, who cares what Mickey said, Mickey isn’t Clinton.
I have no doubt that if asked to comment on this “controversy” Senator Obama will dismiss it as a manufactured distraction, just as he dismissed Bosnia. I only wish Hillary had done the same thing with the Wright “controversy”, perhaps this is karma, in which case it becomes increasingly evident that the climate of our political discourse is an absolutely mess.

Now it’s supposedly not doctored in content, but VOLUME LEVEL of audio is bossted to make it easier to discern.
The saga of ‘did he or didn’t he’ backed with ABC’s removal of Tapper’s post pretty much says something is being denied rather than didn’t happen.
Kantor said ‘shxt’ at least, and because the director supports Clinton, he would be duplicitous in denying the more damning part.

Posted by: kravitz | May 2, 2008, 2:29 pm 2:29 pm

If the video were true, Obama had already used it in his ad and his speech since IND is so critical to him….

In true McClinton fashion, what they did 15 years ago doesn’t matter but Obama’s conduct over 46 years is fair game.
The tape is clearly not doctored as presented here. The McClinton campaign is lying seven ways to Sunday on this. We can talk about what Wright said 5 or 7 years ago but 15 is too long. Pleez.

What about the Rose Law Firm papers that suddenly showed up on the cocktail table in The White House? What about all those lies? O’Reilly may have been instructed not to ask the tough questions but the people still want to know. We are very curious as to why you have never answered these questions.

Posted by: Joe | May 2, 2008, 3:02 pm 3:02 pm

Why would he impune people when they are in a virtual tie. He’s obviously talking about the pollsters. Just like Zogby saying its tied in Indiana or obama is up by 16 in NC. Clinton could be winning in NC and Zogby would still put out that poll. A similar comment could be made about Zogby.
You don’t insult people when a race is tied and you want to win. They also knew the cameras were rolling in the war room.

Clinton must first thank the state’s Republican Party. It’s decision to put the most strident anti-Obama ad, one with a heavy dose of the Rev. Jeremiah Wright, into the mix two weeks ahead of the primary has rebounded to Clinton’s advantage. The ad was ostensibly directed at the two Democratic contenders for the governor’s race, both of whom have endorsed Obama.

I am very glad that I have convinced my sister to vote for Hillary. All I told her was to look at issues, do some independent research, and read articles while keeping in mind that some of the journalists are no longer objective and they are now obama advocates.
She did, five days later, she told me:

TO ALL THE VOTERS:
Since the media is refusing to reveal/report the Paul vs Clinton fraud case in court right now, we need to create our own movement and flood every blog on CNN and every blogging website on the World Wide Web with information from the case regardless of what the topic is. For those that don’t know – Google Paul vs Clinton and hold on to your shirt with what you read!!
For those of you who think this case has been thrown out or is irrelevant:
“In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!.”(paulvclinton.com)

Obama voted for a gas-tax suspension 3 times when he was in the Illinois Senate.
Obama voted for the Bush/Cheney energy bill written by lobbyists and special interests behind close doors
Clinton voted against the Bush/Cheney energy bill

For gas price issue, it needs both short term and long term solutions..
Gas Tax holiday in summer can give people a relief in this driving season…
In the meantime, long term solution will be how to regulate oil companies and optimize the relation of supply and demand…
While politicians are dabating the long term solution, can we consumers get some temporary relief???
Obama doesn’t allow people have a temporary gas cost relief nor he has

Do you “Paul v Clinton” morons ever do anything but read anti-Clinton sites? If you did, you would know that Hillary is not a defendant in this case and it is not an election fraud case!!! Two California courts have dismissed Paul’s LAWSUIT — NOT PROSECUTION — against Hillary. And the FEC has cleared her and Bill of any election law violations. All that remains is a lawsuit alleging that Bill promised him that they would do business if he fund raised for him. Big deal! So, at most, it’s a “breach of contract” case. Kind of like breaking your lease? Returning your rental car an hour late….get over it.

Bill Clinton is not CHARGED with anything. You guys are clearly in high school because you know absolutely nothing about basic civics. If this were a criminal case, the name would be State of California v Clinton. This is a private lawsuit. Calling it “fraud” does not make it true. This moron Paul is a convicted felon; he was convicted of fraud himself TWICE. And you believe him? Get real.
“In the landmark civil fraud case against Bill Clinton in Los Angeles, where the former President is charged with defrauding a Hollywood dot com millionaire to help Hillary Clinton obtain more than $1.2 million from him for her 2000 Senate campaign, Los Angeles Superior Court Judge Aurelio Munoz ruled on Friday, April 25, 2008 that Hillary Clinton would not be required to testify in a sworn deposition as a material witness in the case until AFTER the November election!.”
Here is the kicker – the judge is a Bill Clinton appointee!”

I’m surprised abc even posted anything remotely negative about the Clintons. But then again, if the Clintons say it’s a fake and abc takes it down…. seems very on par for abc.
Mainstream media will never show this tot he extent of the Wrights fiasco. Reason being, the intent is to obliterate Obama during the primarys then attack the Clintons with all of their so far unmentioned skeletons during the general thus leaving another McBush/McSame for 4 more years to vulturize America.
You measly back and forth posters haven’t caught on yet. Just what they want. And just what they expect.

“While politicians are dabating the long term solution, can we consumers get some temporary relief???” – True Truth
If we have x amount of fuel supply left and we lower the price for 3 months more people will fill up tanks because it’s cheaper. After 3 months go by we have less amount of fuel. By supply and demand the price of gas will increase. Why? Because we only have an x amount of fuel supply and it keeps declining while the supply stays the same. In order to slow down the declining rate of gas, oil companies must increase price. This does not solve our problem both long term and short term.
Yes you do save about $30 for the entire 3 months, but that is not a significant amount of relief. Especially, if the price of gas just increases after the tax holiday. This plan is will do more harm than good.

The man clearly said **** people. The last part of the video doesn’t even matter. Remember how people was so offended by the word “bitter”. Hoosiers should be uproared about this. Obama was trying to make a point for the people he was referring to, this Kantor guy is clearly insulting them. Anybody that doesn’t see that on the Clintonite side, must be a liar and manipulater as well as their leader…remember “guilt by association”…

Posted by: kendall | May 2, 2008, 4:32 pm 4:32 pm

This is really a new low in the media, and quite frankly libelous. If you had listened to the clip, he clearly says, “those people [i.e., in the white house] are ********.” If there is any doubt, the context clears it up. They are excited because they are up in the polls in Indiana. It doesn’t make sense that they would insult them.
By the way, while you’re at it, why don’t you also blog about Larry Sinclair? … or, do the rules of ethics, common decency and slander only apply to covering the Obama campaign?

It is quite possible that Kantor is saying “These people are ********… excuse me… in the White House”.
THAT IS EXACTLY WHAT HE IS SAYING. HE BREAKS TO APOLOGIZE FOR SWEARING ON CAMERA. (Unlike Wright who utters profanities in church). Anyone with common sense can see and hear what is going on. The original tape was altered so the sound was barely audible and subtitles put on saying “They are —-”(no ing on the end)

Tony…
As far as the gas tax relief…I figured that based on the amount of gas I use in a week if they take out the $.18 cent fed gas tax I would have an extra $3.87 in my pocket every week…WOO HOO!!….enough to almost buy a gallon of milk.
Typical political smoke and mirrors.

Posted by: Paul | May 2, 2008, 4:44 pm 4:44 pm

The gas supply is relatively steady each month. So after the hot summer season, the demands will be dramatically reduced and the ratio of demand/supply will be no change, so it won’t cause any supply issue…
Also, the consumer gas demanding for driving is just a small portion of oil supply and it won’t affect the overall supply or pricing too much…

Do you know This story?
“Hillary’s shenanigans when she was working for the House Judiciary Committee during the Nixon impeachment mess.
Hillary Rodham gets a spot on the legal staff of the House Judiciary Committee upon the recommendation of a lawyer pal of Ted Kennedy.
The man who hires Hillary is Jerry Zeifman, a lifelong Democrat.
The House Judiciary Committee is investigating Richard Nixon with an eye on impeachment.
A question arises as to whether or not Nixon is legally entitled to counsel during the investigation. If so, his council would be allowed to cross examine witnesses appearing before the panel.
The concern about having counsel for Nixon cross examine witnesses centered on E. Howard Hunt. Democrats on the committee feared that Nixon’s counsel would elicit information from Hunt that would be very damaging to the Kennedys.
Zeifman tells Hillary that Nixon is entitled to counsel. He cites documents in the committee’s public file referencing the fact that Supreme Court Justice William O. Douglas had representation four years earlier while he was being investigated.
Hillary removes the documents from the committees public file and places them under lock and key in her office where they are not available for media or public scrutiny.
Hillary then prepares a brief for filing with a federal judge which falsely states that there is no precedent for an official being investigated by the committee to have legal representation during that investigation.
Nixon resigns before Hillary has a chance to submit the brief in which she makes knowingly false claims.
Zeifman then fires Hillary. Hillary asks for a letter of recommendation. Zeifman says no. This was only the third time in Zeifman’s 17 years with the committee that he had refused a letter of recommendation.
Zeifman told Dan Calabrese that if Hillary had actually submitted the brief she most likely would have been disbarred.
So .. all you Hillary fans out there. Here we have your hero once again hiding documents that could be damaging to her cause (Rose Law Firm billing records, Vince Foster’s files) and then committing an unethical act in preparing a brief on a point of law she knew to be false. And you want this lady to be our president? ”
My thought is: if she would stoop that low to hurt a sitting President, how low would she go on other issues?

Okay so a Clintonite is condescending and cutting down the typical real American in the heartland?
And this is a surprise to who?
Gee, one elitist condescending candidate to the other elitist condescending candidate, back and forth.
Both Hillary Rodham and Obama are cut from the same cloth. One has more experience since her idolizing Saul Alinsky days, and has destroyed numerous people in a single minded path to achieve socialist power, the other merely a tool of the Chicago machine since his Saul Alinsky days.
Both are not qualified to run for anything near as important as the Presidency. It’s hilarious to see supporters of each liberal/leftist elitist condemn the other.
Vote for your genitalia! No, vote for your guilty white conscience!
Hopeless. It’s like the morons from the Balkans have taken over this country. Well they have taken over a major party.

Is Rev Wright not doing the same? Why only talk about one side, when Obama ensured he go that house to live in, he sure danced through some hoops to make that happen and am positive he did not just want to live there because he liked the place, he wanted to be associated with those that lived that kind of lifestyle.
SO don’t knock it when your own candidate seems to be moving in that same direction.

1) The “doctored” clip is identical from the point where Mickey walks in and high fives George on.
2) He says “It doesn’t matter if we win” . . . “those people are ********” . . . “excuse me” . . . After that, it’s pretty indiscernible.

When we think of the candidates for the Democratic Party, I found it a little amusing and disturbing at where some have positioned their Lane County headquarters. Here is how our local free weekly paper, Eugene Weekly, described their locations.
“It’s not just candidates coming through town for a quick speech anymore; the presidential campaigns have come to Eugene and they’re setting up shop. Just across from Kinko’s on Willamette lies Barack Obama’s new headquarters. And Springfield is the home for Hillary Clinton’s newly opened local campaign office for Lane County, located across the street from Club 1444 (a “gentlemen’s club”), a 60-day loan shop and a panaderia on Main Street.
I hope that it will get some to pause and to think of the two of these candidates on the more obscure issues. For myself I ask, “Why would a women that is running to be the 1st “women” POTUS have her county headquarters in such a location? Living in this area I know of much more suitable locations that would not stare at the belittling of women by being next to a strip club.”
I am a 40ish mixed ethnical background, blonde hair blue eyes woman, guess who has my vote! I might add that I am under the poverty level as I have had to get an education after being downsized 4 times in the last 13 years. 1st one in my family to get a higher education and we go back several generations on this soil. If Obama and Wright were in on this together why would Wright speak at the NAACP? That speech would only hurt his campaign. Doesn’t make any sense at all.
I find it strange how you can judge someone based on what you see on tv and never have to get to know that individual yourself.
When you say Obama knew Wright for 20 years and because one or two of Wright’s sermon’s seemed derogatory that automatically equates to 20 years of Obama listening and agreeing to anti-american and racist remarks.
I find it strange how you can speak on behalf of what Obama believes or disbelieves.

And a 1995 story in the Sydney Morning Herald said that “As for the good folk of Indiana, they are still recovering from the 1993 documentary War Room, which revealed the grim truth behind the Clinton election campaign. It showed Mr Kantor bursting in on election night to tell other campaign staffers that incredibly, Mr Clinton was doing well even in Republican Indiana. ‘And those people are —-!’ he declared breathlessly.”

Statistically, Obama is set to win and Hillary will have to pull a miracle just to make it to the convention.
As for comments saying “most people who are uneducated tend to vote for Hillary” that was from Pennsylvania only? Or other states as well? I just want to know for a fact.
In sociology, generally people who are uneducated are more likely to have many fears. Because of this, it is easier to manipulate them. If I know what you’re scared of then I can use that against you. When you are in a state of fear, all rational thought is gone. This is to say, people who are fearful are also irrational. Being irrational means you are incapable of reason.
The only way to overcome your fears is to learn about them. In other words educate yourself about what scares you. This is to say knowledge will overcome fear.
Hillary and McCain both use scare tactics to manipulate people. Those who are educated are immune to it while those who are uneducated yield to it.

I don’t have a dog in this race. (I hope they both lose) But what “People” is he talking about? The congressmen from Indiana, the democratic leaders in Indiana or all the people of Indiana?
Of the three, the latter choice is probably the least likely. I doubt he even knew very many people of the state other than the elected official in DC and possible the election officials and dem. leaders.

“Way to go Obamanations. Sinking lower and lower, against a fellow democrat.” -rs
I don’t think Hillary supporters are in a position to say that since she was the one who was running a negative campaign as well as trying to link Obama to muslims, Osama bin laden, and Saddam Hussein just to ‘scare’ voters.
Hillary was supposed to drop out, but shes still in there and is now killing the democratic party by running negative ads.

D.A. Pennebaker has said it was doctored. He is a very serious filmmaker and wouldn’t make that up.

This is so much fun! Both of these candidates are useless! I don’t know which one is going to be the slimiest! I am not crazy about McCain but I didn’t think anyone could make him look good! Maybe Hillary and Obama can mud rassle for the nomination!

What about her dealings with Peter Paul? What about Bills involvement with the Iran Contra affair. Allowing drugs to be flown into Arkansas while he was Governor. Bosnia…goodness…I’m a combat Veteran…I will never forget being shot at nor would I lie about it. Go to the website for the Library of Congress and see for yourself how she has just been wasting time and money playing Senator. Only a small number of her bills and the bills that she co-sponsored were of substance. Compare that to Senator Obama. Of the 3 Senator Obama is the likely choice. If you want the New World Order to be in effect then vote for her. If you want more screwing then vote for McCain. If you want someone that will make a change and restore credability to this country then Vote For Obama.

Typical Axelrod tactics.
Is anyone really surprised?

How about having professionals come in and examine the Tape? The FBI..someone they could all trust.
The feelings of the people on that Radio Talk Show…were so impassioned, so angry, and they were truth telling..I honestly think NONE Of them thought that tape had been touched. That it had NOT been tampered with..and after Hillary and all of her Mewing about Rev. Wright……explain Kantor’s remarks. And James Carville was there too or so they said on the radio show today and they were getting calls hot and heavy.n Plenty of witnesses to come clean. Fess up. Disown him.
Do what Obama has had to do all week long.

“The vote not casted for Obama doesn’t mean your uneducated, racist, stupid, poor or any other de-humanizing label you want to make up and apply to someone.” -Craig
I never said votes not casted for Obama all come from people who are “uneducated, racist, stupid, poor.” I was talking about the polls in Pennsylvania how it was reported that more people who are uneducated vote for Hillary instead of Obama. Then I followed with how being uneducated is related to fears and how Hillary and McCain play on those fears. I never attacked those people as racist nor de-humanized them. You might want to read that again.

I learned a great deal by working on the Clinton/Gore Campaign in 1992, going door to door in New Hampshire and making phone calls. But my real education came in the years following 1992 when I observed how good people were thrown under a bus, continual moral lapses resulting in scandals were rationalized and in the end the Clinton’s sold the Whitehouse to raise funds. The Clintons became very proficient at getting powerful people to part with their money–In fact Clinton is quoted in a Bill Moyer’s PBS special where he is telling fat cats that their money buys influence certainly but not total control.
excerpted transcript:
BILL MOYERS: In 1996, a “For Sale” sign was hung on the White House.
Pres. BILL CLINTON: [to contributors] And I think it’s okay if your investment gets you influence, but your investment shouldn’t get you control.
Hearing this verbage alone is all you need to know. Since that time the LIES, DECEIT, VOTER FRAUD & MANIPULATION have grown increasingly similar to that of the Neocons, as their wealth derived largely from foreign sources hassky rocketed. So this begs the question, who owns the Clintons? Make no mistake, once you stop drinking the kool-aid it is rather easy to see that if ever there were “ELITISTS” in the Democratic Party, they are the Clintons. The politics of “TRIANGULATION” which they mastered is the art of appealing to and manipulating to the uninformed, the intellectually undernourished, the lower middle class and whatever ethnic minorities that they need as part of winning coalition while winking to the powerful that they have the little people under control. Hillary Clinton’s Campaign has made aggressive, racist appeals to frighten those on the left side of the bell curve, the working class etc. This is at the heart of CLINTON FRAUD…they think all the little people are Dumb sh_ts that can be easily duped. The Clintons are financed heavily by foreign elements who paid for the Clinton Presidential Library, donated to the Clinton Global Initiative, pumped funds into Hillary”s Senate run and this presidential race where they are trying to buy the next Clinton Administration. The essential fraud of the Clintons is that they are the furthest thing from middle class warriors. The CLINTONS ARE WORKING CLASS PREDATORS. The people most easily fooled by their rhetoric are too consumed with their own economic survival to verify the accuracy of what they are told. BOTOX, BLUE CONTACT LENSES, BLONDE HAIR DYE are part of Hillary”s carefully crafted All American persona to manipulate voters into thinking that she is “one of you”—the last white lady standing running against the black man, with a crazy minister, not sure if he is a muslim etc. This is CLINTONISM. CLINTONISM MUST BE REPUDIATED.

Keep pounding the Clintons, both of them.
They can take anything thrown at them! They are tough, intelligent, capable, confident, and the only Democrats capable of beating the Republican attack machines.
That is why Bill clinton is the only two term elected Democratic President since FDR. That is why after being impeached by a Republican congress, he still governed excellently and left office with a 65% approval rating from the American people.
It is also why Hillary Clinton is the only real choice for the Democratic Party to win with now. She, like Bill, has taken an undeserved beating for more than 16 years; never folded, never quit!
So, to one and all, I say go for it. Hammer away! you only reinforce them and we who support them. We are also inured to the attacks upon them.

I’m still trying to figure out how this Obama’s fault???? It is what it is; clinton’s is known for lying and game playing. What’s done in the dark will come to light. I will never vote for her…THE CLINTON’S ARE LIARS

Well, Tapper, you’ve done it again.
Are you sure that was a chicken salad sandwich you were eating, and not egg salad?
You’ve got egg all over your face.
Jeez, I guess anybody can grow up to be a big time media Journalist.
No heavy lifting, no fact checking… just easy bucks, especially when McCain is the Republican nominee.

Here we go again.
I heard Ed Schultz this morning on the radio and he made me sick for him to hack away at Hillary for three hours today and for the past 6 months.
I wonder if he is really a Democrat?
I along with many of the e-mailers here go along with them and say if you are a Democrat then for pet’s sake act like one.
We are falling into the enemy’s best weapon. “Fighting Among Ourselves”
I don’t care who wins, as long as it is Hillary or Obama.
And to you Ed Schultz I say just “SHUT UP”. You are becoming a big pain in the a-s. What kind of a man are you anyway?
If you are a Democrat act like one or go join the Republicans, and stop this phony acting. As a combat veteran, I have never in my life seen we as a Army of Democrats
give so much to the enemy.
Ed, if you have any education at all, then act like it, instead of some little kid running around with crap in your pants.
That’s all for now.
It is our choice.

Thanks Bob T for your comments about Ed Schultz – I couldn’t have said it better. I heard him today blasting his big mouth about this lie! He had some poor guy so upset, the guy was almost crying. Ed kept saying, well it doesn’t look doctored to me!! Is he somehow an expert on editing these days? He’s sure no expert on politics. He never does his homework on any topic – he has this huge ego and thinks he can say whatever he wants because its HIS show – well without listeners, he’s nothing. He’s a sportscaster AND a republican who found a niche in “progressive” radio because the right wing slots were filled! I have quit listening to him for the most part! He’s no progressive. I hope this one comes back to bite him in the butt!

You guys hear the whole Rev. Wright thing was an edit job? That sounds plausible, wright?

Bob,
Most of us have more faith in Ed Schultz’s progressive credentials than we do in Hillary’s. Isn’t she pretty good buds with old Jump Ship Joe Lieberman?

Here is some high road for you. Its called freedom of speech You can continue to delete my posts, but the truth will come out. It does your publication no favors to keep behaving like George Bush and subverting constitutional values. Sooner or later you folks will get the totalitarian state you keep trying to advance.
An advocate of free trade, Kantor, as Trade Representative, lead U.S. negotiations that created the World Trade Organization (WTO), such as the Uruguay Round, and North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA).
