Lots of people are fed the theory that African Americans are inherently angry people; and that a black women must be railing about something at all times. Which is why the Right is trying to peddle her as an entitled monster. It;s unseemly how the attacks have piled up. Heads would roll if they tried to do this to Cindy McCain…

Has she got over here disdain for white people as yet, does she still feel that whites are out to get all black people?
Am not talking about the tape am talking about things she said in he college thesis, her thoughts and how whites and black relates.
Maybe she now understands she needs the white vote to win, so its time to take the chip off her shoulder for the moment if her husband wans to achieve the goal of winning a GE

I am sick and tired of the pandering of Obama’s campaign in making us think that these tow are AMerican Idols.
I’m sick of them!!!!!!
NEVER, NEVER WILL MICHELLE OBAMA EVER COME CLOSE TO JACKIE KENNEDY. JACKIE KENNEDY WAS PROUD OF HER COUNTRY AND HAD CLASS. NEITHER, OF WHICH MICHELLE HAS.”BITTER! bitter! bitter!!!!!!!!
The both instantly woke up and got it, they always felt that the white vote did not matter in the primaries, but it sure as hell do in a GE, so now they are both changing their tunes, two peas in the same pod.
Michelle and Barack two hypocrites will both do and say anything to win.

The last thing America needs as a First Lady is an angry black woman who has a huge racial chip on her shoulder as Michelle Obama does.
From the moment she was introduced to the country on 60 Minutes and she brought up her husband with “as a black man he could get killed going to the gas station….” I KNEW this was one angry bitter woman.
No thanks. America can do better. Cindy McCain will make a fine First Lady. At least she loves this country.

So … ABC posts a four-page promo on Obama for her coming “interviewer” appearance on “The View”. Kind of barf-making, n’est-ce pas?
Wonder if Whoopi Goldberg will be there? I don’t think Whoopi’s a fan.
Why does Mrs. Obama — with all that money, and all that corporate time-serving — dress so abominably? Maybe Caroline Kennedy (or Whoopi at her worst, for that matter) could help with THAT.

When Michelle Obama was first exposed for her now infamous speech “For the first time in my adult lifetime, I’m proud of my country” (and in the first speech she left out “really” so don’t even try to excuse it) the Obamabots said she meant it in a “political context.”…
Well, now we know better. Then came another interview where she said America was a “mean country.” Then we find out what she wrote in her college thesis. Then we find out who the Obama pals are …America hating Rev. Wright, Pfluger, etc.
There are no excuses. Michelle Obama doesn’t not like this country and she will NEVER be First Lady. Thank God.

“More Jackie-O Than Theresa” blares the ABC headline. The media moves quickly to shore up Michelle Obama’s image. “We got you covered” winks the media to Barack. You can’t buy this kind of media coverage!
Wow ABC is amazing.
Shame they never gave Hillary such nice headlines.
I seen Michelle Obama give a speech, telling people in Ohio “Don’t take the Blue Collar jobs, take the jobs of nurses and teachers and factories. that is what they need.”
Then turn around and Tell the Black community to stay in school, That they can become Lawyers like her, doctors. etc.

The Republican Party needs to be careful. It is so accustomed to these kinds of personal attacks–more imagined than real–that it seems completely incapable of engaging in a serious dialog or discussion about the issues that most Americans care about. No one would accept such attacks–distortions and fabrications included–if they were made against Cindy McCain or Laura Bush. They aren’t acceptable when they are made against Michelle Obama either.

Oh? Well, Mrs. Onassis is probably whirling in eternity over Obama’s unfortunate Ohio ensemble, then.
Obama’s best fashion gaffe to date was the appearance with Oprah and Caroline Kennedy, where Mrs. Obama effectively upstaged EVERYBODY by wearing BLACK underpants under linen slacks with a rather open weave: NO woman who’s showed up for a high-pay corporate office job makes a “mistake” like that DELIBERATELY (what the heck is Obama’s fashion message, and to whom are we to think it’s directed?).

There is something genuinely grating about the way the right have been trying to demonize the Obamas, and once people get to know them I think it will be tough to pull off. A few you tube headline comments against the genuine picture of a living and genuine family who love there country and want to serve it just isn’t going to stand.
If the GOP really wants a reasoned and genuine debate then bring it on, but lets stop the petty smearing if it is a policy lead campaign they want (As McCain says it is.)
I understand Sen Obama & his wife have to CHANGE first if he wants to campaign for the US President.

Michelle Obama’s thesis adviser:
Stokely Carmichael guided Michelle Obama’s thesis on race. This is very important. Carmichael was not a mainstream academic source in his times. He was not the Henry Louis Gates, Jr. of the 1960s, writing scholarly, brilliant works on black America. In fact, Carmichael, the Honorary Prime Minister of the Black Panther Party, espoused a violent black separatist philosophy which was diametrically opposed to Dr. King’s and the Civil Rights Movement’s struggle for integration and equality.
In his 1966 article entitled What We Want, in the New York Review of Books, Stokely Carmichael wrote, “about plots to ‘get Whitey‘” saying that “Black people don’t want to ‘get whitey,’” and in a 1969 article entitled Toward Black Liberation, Carmichael talks about racial incidents as “Git Whitey” “sensationalism.”

There is no comparison between Jackie & Michelle. Whoever came up with this information definitely does not know the difference between a not only beautiful and intelligent lady,Jackie O, but one who really loved her country, and sacrificed a lot for this country. Michelle is not Jackie O, nor will she ever reach that status.
Posted by: jeanoverly | June 15, 2008, 12:55 am 12:55 am
Neither Hillary nor Michele met the standard for Jackie O, for sure, but for obviously different reasons.
Both are far too outspoken, and Hillary is far too commanding a presence, which is why she succeeded in gaining her own constituency to become President before she was swept aside by Hillary haters, race and gender baiters, and men afraid to entertain her lady-ship Presidency.
The same cannot be said for Michele despite the fantastic metamorphasis for prime time – much as that which Hillary went through in her early years.
But America deserves more than smoke and mirrors in a Presidency, whether from two parties or three – where choice not deception is key to Presidential success.
If he selected her as his VP, I’d vote for both of them!

Thank God.

“Maybe (it’s) the same reason I don’t want to — I don’t exactly approve of a lot of the things he stands for and I’m not sure we know enough about him,” Hobbs told the paper. “He’s got some bad connections, and he may be terrorist connected for all I can tell. It sounds kind of like he may be.”

I’m looking forward to Obama breaking out of the box. Hopefully, all of us will feel the pride of seeing a decent family man protect his wife.
Advice to Obama: Don’t follow Bill’s example.

Maybe she’s angry BECAUSE he’s so creepy. Maybe he MAKES her dress that way.

Michelle’s true anger and racism will
be more evident if the meal-ticket
comes up short in November. Hillary
was never more “on fire” as when Bilbo
(and therefore, she) were facing possible roadblocks in their journey toward political Valhalla. She was, and
Michelle might be, the NE Patriots of
politics….

if it looks like a duck and walks like a duck, saying it is not a duck will not make it go away.

“For the first time in my adult lifetime…”
She was talking about all the excitement generated by the campaign efforts. I feel the same way. This country seems invigorated and energized and I am grateful to be a part of it.
It is wonderfully incredible to see that so many people actually WANT to participate in the selection of our next President instead of believing they don’t matter. Like me, many people feel that, for the first time, we truly have a stake in this country.
Can you imagine the patriotism *that* will spawn? Michelle Obama is a verbal genious! I look forward to her becoming First Lady.
Obama ’08!
