Richardson to Help Clinton Ease Debt

ABC News’ David Chalian Reports: Clinton ally James Carville may have called him "Judas" when he endorsed Barack Obama over Hillary Clinton in March, but that isn’t stopping Gov. Bill Richardson D-NM., from offering to raise money to help Sen. Clinton retire her significant campaign debt.

"We’ve been asked to help. So in principle we are going to help," Richardson told ABC News after addressing members of the Democratic Leadership Council in Chicago at the centrist group’s annual gathering. "I think the party needs to come together," he added.

Richardson cautioned that the healing process inside the Democratic Party after its protracted nomination battle may not yet be complete. "Everybody’s a human being. There still probably is a need to heal a little bit. It’s not going to come back and be together right away. It may take a little time," Richardson told the crowd in his prepared remarks. "I mean, I hope not too much longer," he added to laughter in the audience. Gov. Richardson then mentioned that he has seen some hopeful signs of the party stitching itself back together and that he is "going to be involved in a debt event for Sen. Clinton in New Mexico." He later added that the event has yet to be scheduled.

President Clinton worked hard to woo his former cabinet secretary’s support for his wife’s candidacy after Gov. Richardson ended his own bid for the Democratic nomination. In January, Mr. Clinton flew to Santa Fe, New Mexico to watch the Super Bowl with Gov. Richardson as part of the outreach effort. Gov. Richardson ultimately decided to endorse Sen. Obama’s candidacy in March which was received as a great affront inside the Clinton campaign at the time. Gov. Richardson noted today that his endorsement of Sen. Obama got more public attention than either his campaign announcement or withdrawal speeches.

In his remarks at the DLC, Gov. Richardson addressed six major foreign policy/national security challenges awaiting the next president including nuclear proliferation and the rapid rise of China and India. He said that before Barack Obama said a word at his inauguration, the image of a "young man with an internationalist background" would immediately work to restore the United States’ reputation around the world.

Hillary, please do not accept any help from Judas!! He is a traitor, let him be for the rest of his life.
Obama can retire your loans – you are helping him so much! That’s fair and square.

Judas is only thinking of his position in the party and his next job. Be assured that he is not doing this out of the goodness of his heart….

I hope that all of us that can will do our best to help Hillary Clinton pay off ALL of her campaign debt quickly. She deserves that. You all knew Hillary, and Bill would go out on a limb for us if they felt they had too. That’s what they do. :-) As I said before Hillary Clinton was STUNNING!!!
You witnessed the greatest political campaign struggle in American history. One for the textbooks, and the history books. Hillary Clinton fought her heart out against all odds to win for all of the American people. While at the same time doing her best to prepare Sen. Barack Obama to win in November if he was the nominee. STUNNING!!! WELL DONE HILLARY CLINTON. WELL DONE! Your AMAZING! :-)
Sen. Obama could not have had a better opponent than Hillary Clinton. Nor could he have had a better opponent to prepare him for the battle royal to come against John McCain and the Republicans ahead of the November elections. Hillary Clinton was like a big Mama cat determined to teach her kitten how to hunt, and hang with the big dogs for the fights ahead. The Clinton’s have won the Whitehouse twice before. They know what it will take.
Hillary Clinton took Sen. Obama to every brawl, and cat fight she could find for him to develop his fight, and his chops. She even let her men (President Clinton, Governor Rendell, and many others) loose on Sen. Obama a little bit. So as to give Sen. Obama a taste of just how rough, and tough the big boys will be to do battle with. :-)
From sea to shining sea and US territories Hillary Clinton took Sen. Obama to see all of America. To meet, and greet all it’s people. And to ask for their votes and support, which he will need if he becomes President. She took him to see what he will be fighting for. And to see what she and President Clinton have fought so heroically for over so many years. Sen. Obama could not have ask for any better. Nor had any better teachers.
Bill Clinton, Chelsea, Mrs. Rodham, and the whole Clinton team were magnificent. They really showed their metal. BRAVO! TEAM CLINTON… BRAVO!
And YOU! my fellow Americans. I’m so proud of you. And proud to be one of you. You showed what you are made of. And what makes America so great. You never gave up on your Champion Hillary Clinton. Time, and time again you eagerly waited your turn to vote for Hillary Clinton. To raise her up and pass her along down the line to the rest of your waiting fellow Americans.
You never gave up on her. Just as Hillary Clinton never gave up on you. No matter how many times they counted her out. No matter how many times her detractors, and attackers brutally knocked her down. You knew she would get back up and get after it. And when she did you were ready to support her. This is your role model America. AMERICA LOVES A FIGHTER. AMERICA UNDERSTANDS A FIGHTER. AMERICA IS A FIGHTER. I’M PROUD OF YOU AMERICA!
Sen. Clinton looked a little tired her first day back at work in the senate after her history making heroic campaign. She has good reason to be tired. Doesn’t she America. But with time and good attention to the basics she, and you will recover. The basics are good well balanced nutrition, hydration, rest, exercise, recreation, POSITIVE! emotional support, and time (the greatest healer of all).
Y’all be good to President Clinton. I never saw a man fight so hard for a woman, and the American people as President Clinton fought for Hillary Clinton, and you. It’s going to take Bill a while. No one except Hillary Clinton could have fought any harder than President Clinton did for you.
I imagine President Clinton still remembers how the American people wailed, reached, and cried out for him as he took that last flight home as your President on Air Force One after the 2000 elections. Yes, many of us knew back then what was coming for the American people under a republican administration. Back to living like dumb animals again. Fighting over territory, and scraps of meat. You are dieing like fly’s now. Republicans too. But it’s ok because some people are making a lot of money off of your needless deaths. :-(
As always, Hillary Clinton, and President Clinton did their best for all of us. It was an EPIC!
YOU MADE US VERY PROUD HILLARY CLINTON! HOLD YOUR HEAD HIGH :-)
WE LOVE YOU. AND ADMIRE YOU…

That’s awesome that Richardson will be helping Hillary retire her debt.

OK, so what does that mean? “We have been asked to help. So in principle we are going to help.” I can do a lot of things “in principle” while sitting on my a$$ doing nothing. And how is Obama a “young man with an internationalist background” who can accomplish great things before he even says a word at his inaguration? Obama has never worked or studied abroad unless you count up until the age of 12 when he attended school in Nigeria when he lived with his mother and stepfather. And I highly doubt he has the power to transform our reputation around the world without saying a word. What, are they playing sublimal messages at his speeches? Does he have everyone hypnotized? Who writes Richardson’s speeches for him? It’s ok to try to make your candidate look good, but at least try to keep some perspective on what this guy can or cannot accomplish. Next thing you know, he’ll be able to cure cancer and he’s found intelligent life on Mars.

Richardson, how his he going to help Obama? He could neither raise the money nor attract Hispanics for his own campaign. Guess Hillary has taken the spotlight and VP consideratin from good old Judas.

Hillary Clinton would make the best president this country has ever had. Everyone should do what they can to retire her debt. She loves America and its people with all her heart, and shows it in her words and work. Please do what you can to help this true American. Go to http://www.hillaryclinton.com.

Frankly how pathetic some Hillary supporters are if they really don’t want Richardson to help. Calling him a ‘traitor’ is a little unfair, he never endorsed Hillary just because hge served in Bill’s cabinet doesn’t tie him into supporting the Clintons forever. I feel sympathy for Hillary but I am begining to lose patience with her supporters given there frankly shameful desire to campaign against the principles that there candidate stood for, by being so anti Obama and anything to do with him.

Posted by: markymark | June 29, 2008, 4:48 pm 4:48 pm

markymark – I have great admiration for Hillary – she is an intelligent and classy lady and I truly believe she has our country’s good at heart. But like you, I am losing patience with people who have no desire to help her retire her debt – only berate those who are willing to do so. I am with Dot – put up or shut up!

This is just Richardson’s way to keep his name in the press since he was one of the great dividers and is being called on like everyone else to be a uniter.
Go Hillary. The numbnuts at the head of the Dems, read Donna Brazille and Howard Dean, need to mend their fences BIG TIME with Hillary. She is still the most qualified dynamic star on the polical horizon and may be called on yet to run against McCain. Stranger things have happened.

These trolls posing as Hillary supporters would love nothing more than for any Democratic effort to fail. They are pretending to be pro-Hillary, but are merely using that as a guise to launch smears against Bill Richardson. Its the same old tactic from the Karl Rove days.
Bill Richardson enjoys strong support amongst the Hispanic Americans. Just look at the speech McCain gave this weekend to the Latinos to see what these negative blogs are doing. McCain gets heckled in an adjacent state to his own. Kinda says something.
Don’t believe anyone who claims to be a Hillary supporter that doesn’t want to see her retire her campaign debt. Its just those hateful trolls trying to stir up yet another smear campaign.

Judas, LOL! You guys are really funny. You all sound like James Carville puppets.
All that ugliness sunk her campaign.
She could have stayed in the race in a more fiscally responsible way. Paying those jokers $8 million per month to mismanage her campaign is a travesity. She needs to dip into her own pocket to pay off her debts.
Bill Richardson didn’t rack up her debt and should not be forced into retiring it.

Posted by: jmc663 | June 29, 2008, 5:04 pm 5:04 pm

This is nothing but an attempt to rub salt on the wound. Obama and his men are really enjoying the way Sen. Clinton’s campaign finance was poorly managed. They have rewarded Patti Sollis Doyle, the chief culprit, who blew most of the money during the Iowa caucus. These guys are gleefully watching every day passing by, with very little time left for Sen. Clinton to get rid of her campaign debt. We, the so-called ardent supporters of her should hang our heads in shame, for not doing enough, for not giving enough, and for not reaching out to other people to help her get rid of her debt. The Obamas and the Richardsons are not needed.

Posted by: Paula | June 29, 2008, 5:04 pm 5:04 pm

Help retire Hillary’s debt at http://www.hillaryclinton.com. Maybe Obama plans to select Richardson as a VP candidate, but Richardson does not have recent name recognition except as a person disloyal to those who helped him along the way. It would be nice if he would help erase Hillary’s debt with a fund raiser, but why no date for the event yet?

sandy,
Clinton should have completed her campaign in a financially responsible manner, but her campaign was spending like a druken sailor from the very beginning.
Spending millions and millions is Puerto Rico, where they can’t vote in the GE was beyond stupid. She wanted to make a point, and it was an expensive one.
She has no one to blame but herself. She was the Captain of the ship.

you republicans on this site are pretty funny. And REALLY obvious. No one that supported Hillary is going to vote for McCain. That would be like voting for Bush over Bill C. Never happen. Their philosophies are so entirely different. Any Hillary supporter that votes for Roe V Wade being overturned, and more and more war and killing the military and the middle class is a joke. Put a fork in Sen McCain and the whole bunch of Republican traitors. Time for a much needed change. We need America to once again become the greatest nation in the world!

The eighteen million people that voted for Hillary are not robots. We all are different with expectations and hopes like everyone else. However, we are entitled to our opinion about Hillary and Obama based on our judgment. Listening to the political commentary, we are portrayed as bitter, delusional, vindictive, and racist against Obama.
More importantly, Hillary is blamed for spreading these ideas among us. What nonsense! We can think for ourselves. If anything, we were too naive how the political system worked. In our opinion, Obama was selected by the pundits and the party. Yes, he did win his share of delegates with the caucuses and the superdelegates. However, it was the way the process evolved over the last six months that really made us angry.
This is the first Presidential election where the MSM became a power broker and blatantly favored one candidate. By doing this, the norms of this election changed. Past candidates that had marginal delegates and victories were allowed to take their campaigns to the convention. However, Hillary was stopped from exercising this option by her own party and the media.
In addition, there were the issues of sexism and racism. Race served as an undercurrent in this process, and used as a wedge issue against Hillary. Sexism became not only acceptable but openly practiced by the likes of Matthews, Russert, Beck, Cafferty, and Olbermann.
It was obvious that Hillary was pressured by her own party to suspend her campaign and endorse Obama. Now, we are to “fall in line” like good little Democrats. Like hell, we will. After seeing Hillary being trampled on by her own party, we are taking the initiative and reclaiming our power through our votes.

Posted by: yoga82y | June 29, 2008, 6:11 pm 6:11 pm

I believe it is the men who are trying to get Hillary to campaign for them, not the other way around. BO needs Hillary and her donors, that’s way he isn’t taking public financing. He thought he could make more off the coattails of the former First Lady, than he could on his own. Well, what he didn’t count on was the fact that Hillary’s biggest contributors didn’t like BO and didn’t open their wallets for him. Why? Because he is the same inexperienced, racist, sexist, fool now as he was a year ago. A blind man could see that. Unfortunately BO’s supporters cant. The light that shines from the Messiahs eyes are too bright for them to see anything that has to do with truth.

DaddysDingDong,
Obama raised over $250 Million! That is more than Clinton raised. A QUARTER OF A BILLION DOLLARS!!
Clintons supporters are and will support Obama in every way possible. Many of them “donors” are not wanted by Obama. Clintons campaign was funded in large part by health insurance and pharm companies. It was their way of saying thanks for not getting Universal Health Care in the 90′s. Clinton has been and is in their back pocket.
You are incredibly naive. Obama is not a God or messiah (why do you all use the same words, anyway? Get a dictionary or Thesaurus, you guys are boring). But he is the best man for the job.

No one really knows how many people are actually in Obama’s corner. Most of the primaries and caucuses were held before Rev Wright and all the rest. LOTS of people have ‘changed’ their minds. And keep in mind that no less than 140 million people will vote in November. Even if Obama has his 18 mil and some of Hillary’s, he’s not even close.

Some of you Clinton supporters have really lost your grip with reality. Richardson is showing class by offering to help even after Carville called him a Judas and Bill Clinton went ballistic at a fund raiser over his endorsement of Obama. Instead of being grateful, you write vile posts and spew your irrational hatred and vituperations at Richardson and Obama. Thank goodness most of HRC supporters have common sense and know when to let go. To the others of you who would rather whine and blame everyone for her loss except herself and her campaign, have fun being miserable during the general campaign, because that’s what you want anyway. For the rest of us, we’re going to do everything in our power to elect Barack Obama as the next POTUS! Obama ’08!!!

Would any Obama supporter help clear the debt of an adversary who democrats that McCain could better lead the country than Obama? You keep hearing about the hurt feelings of the Clintons because of mistreatment by the media and Obama. Never mind sexism, the excuse of a poor loser. Sure, lots of people were against her, but not because she was a woman, but because she was who she was.

Only half of Obama’s $250 million dollars came from small Internet Donors. The rest were from bundlers from law firms or financial firms tied to the mortgage or subprime industry. In other words, Obama accepted money from PACS and lobbyists. Here is just a partial list of his bundlers:
Theodore Janulis-Bundler (over $50,000) & Lehman Bros. head of Global Mortgages
Francisco Borges – Bundler (over $50,000) and Chairman of Landmark Partners a private equity real estate firm
Nadja Fidelia – Bundler (over $50,000) & Managing Director of Lehman Bros.
Michael Froman-Bundler (over $50,000) & Managing Director of Citigroup
David Heller-Bundler (over $200,000) & Managing Director of Goldman Sachs
J. Michael Schell – Bundler (over $100,000) & Managing Director at Citigroup
Jim Torrey – Bundler (over $200,000) and founder of the Torrey Funds-Hedge Funds
Todd Williams-Bundler (over $50,000) & Managing Director Goldman Sachs & The Real Estate Council
In Obama’s database of 1.5 million donors are roughly 130,000 power brokers that have funded nearly 60% of his campaign. (Source: Jarid Brown-Politically Drunk on Power)

Yes, approximately 140m people will vote in November – all states did not hold promaries or caucuses – many people simply do not vote in the prmaries – so your Clinton math is off. Looking at the electoral college – yesterday’s post:
Projected Electoral Votes:
Obama – 336
McCain – 202
Barr – 0
Nader – 0
Needed to Win – 270
Sorry – your popular vote count goes back to the same fuzzy math apparent in the primaries.

Again, this is not about obama, Sen. Clinton, Richardson, etc. This is about a corrupt Democratic Party. This is about not allowing the DNC to set in stone voter disenfranchisement, caucus/voter fraud, voter manipulation, selecting a nominee, condoning misogyny and racism to be set in stone as Democratic Party Platform policies.
This is about our Democratic process. This is about our constitutional rights to fair elections and our votes counting.
I could care less about Richardson’s sorry self. I not allow this party and a bunch of immature followers of the ‘chosen’ one to destroy our Democracy. Plain and simple.
This rest of this static, it is just that, static.

I’m puzzled at how Richardson wants to help retire Sen Clinton debt when I’m still getting emails from his campaign asking for money to retire his debt. And what makes him think that Sen Clinton wants or needs his charity or is this the big strong men coming to the aid of a helpless woman. The who thing makes me sick, Sen Clinton should tell them where to go with this pity party Richardson wants to throw. Judas is just working hard to get the vp nom and feel important.

I admire Bill Richardson a great deal….a gentleman, a critical thinker and loyal to his party. He did not deserve the Judas reference just because he used his brains and chose to endorse Obama. Good grief, what are we supposed to do with that gray matter? Just let it set like jello between two
appendages that are equally unused by some people?
Though I basically disagree with the apparently common practice of helping the losing candidate pay off their debt, I certainly admire Gov
Richardson’s gesture to do so.

Posted by: comickey | June 29, 2008, 9:07 pm 9:07 pm

It’s certainly not the vendors’ fault that Hillabeans’ campaign crew misspent the money given to her campaign.
And it’s not their fault that Carville and other surrogates went so totally negative on folks like Governor Richardson.
If — and it’s still a big if — the Clintons are going to provide full and ACTIVE support to putting Senator Obama in the White House in November, then retiring their debt would be a small price to pay — though I wish I had a small fraction of the monies paid to Mark Penn!!! And for what?!
The continuing negativity toward anyone who was not a diehard Hillabeans supporter is quite puzzling, and I have to believe it is coming from Republicans at this point — and a few morons who WANT to see four more years of Bush/Cheney style politics.
Thankfully, the polls seem to show that those folks are deep in the minority!

I am an avid Hilary supporter, however this is a democracy and Bill Richardson has the right to endorse whomever he pleases.
That said, I truly believe some deal was made for his endorsement just as some deal was made by others who endorsed Obama. The Obama camp is Chicago politics. Win at any cost. Say what you have to to win….
The good thing about that is people like Obama and Richardson etc. have to answer to a higher power. Eventually any dishonesty on any of their parts will be made known. I just hope it’s in time to let people see the real them before November.
Unfortunately politicians in this day and others have been made to varnish the truth. We, the people only hear what we want to hear and if they don’t say what we like, even if it is the truth we find great fault with the person saying it.
It would be wonderful if they could just be honest with the American people for a change and say what the truth is.

What do you mean ‘whites’ didn’t even vote on caucuses? What do you think we were doing? Knitting?
The caucus I went to was nearly all white. And there was no racism. Just honest people selecting the candidate they felt was best. For the first time in a very long time I felt we had a choice. I could support either candidate with equal enthusiasm. The caucus created a serious discussion; not of race, but of which one of the two would be the best. If you had been there, you’d have seen that too.
The division in the party is because both candidates were the best. Both are more in tune with America’s ideals than the Republican front-runner at the time. The division wasn’t because we were choosing who we didn’t like; it was because both candidates were outstanding.
And remember, we vote in November too.

I agree. This late in the game, people like Nicholas who keep trying to stir up the ‘Hillary or McCain’ riff are almost certainly Republicans anyway.
Some Republicans abandoned their own party to support Hillary, and are now shuffling back home. They were never really interested in change, just protesting their own party. They chant ‘I was a 30 year Democrat’; or ‘I’ll never vote for Obama if not Hillary’. They can protest all they want, but no one is believing them now.
If we work together, we can overcome this Republican chant.

Hillary supporters will vote for McCain, because we can’t afford a too liberal inconsistent BHO. Hillary was the more moderate candidate and had experience and solutions. At least McCain is/was more moderate. BHO is largely an unknown not having worked outside of his one state – Illinois. Hillary topped him in experience and understanding of the issues, as does McCain. We can’t afford inexperience and a person who changes their mind with the weather – like Obama tends to do. It is too soon for BHO, give him a few more years to impress the voters with accomplishments, not just words. If BHO is voted in, and does for the country what he did for Illinois and during his few short months of misleading campaigning, we would be far worse off than today.

The truth is that Hillary spent the mounting debt she accumulated basically hurting our party’s presumptive candidate and now Obama is supposed to kiss her ring finger before her supporters will even consider supporting him. What is wrong with you people? Hillary should have dropped out of the campaign when the math wasn’t there and what did she do…she went negative constantly for months, hurting our chances in November. The only reason she did as well as she did is because Obama bent over backwards to be nice to Hillary supporters to help the inevitable transition take place for the good of the party. And now so many Hillary supporters consider a noble guy like Richardson a “Judas”? Last I knew this is a democracy and people could support whoever they want, hopefully without being called a “Judas” for making that freewill choice. Why can’t you just consider that to Richardson, maybe Obama was the better choice. He was not alone in that assessment. Clinton supporters, please look at the big picture and help us achieve the goals we both want and stop the negative and clearly unwarranted attacks. Obama waged an ethical campaign. It’s time to get on the train!

Nicholas up to his usual shenanigans. I do like the quote, though, “once a cheater always a cheater.” I assume this is referring to Senator McCain and his first wife?

Who cares about Richardson (Judas).
Hillary was way too nice to Obama in debates (as she didn’t want to ruin the DNC). McCain will smack the Wright out of him – Even Obama knows this – That’s why he’s HIDING from them.
I feel bad for the Clintons being blackmailed into supporting this fraud Obama.

Poor little Clinton, do you feel better now that all the men are riding to your rescue on their white chargers, after they betrayed you and your supporters? If you have any integrity, you won’t take a dime from them, nor will you accept a vp spot with that fraud Obama. Having you as his vp will not make him any fitter to be president. What are you going to do, hold his hand throughout his term and tell him what he should do? He’s already hijacked all your plans and policies, he’s been handed the Democratic candidacy, he has you on a leash, parading your around with him for his campaign. Have you been degraded enough yet?

How lofty is that, Bill Richardson? What internationalist background are you talking about? All of us, if you want to count our parentage or our ancestors, have as much internationalist background. The comedy continues. Obama has no more internationalist background to aid him in world relationships than anyone else of foreign parentage. In fact, he has no experience in foreign affairs and very little in the Senate, even the chairmanship of an important committee for Afghanistan issues. The reason the “healing” process is taking so long, is that we are fed up with your self-serving shenanigans and those of many of the “wise” superdelegates who were looking out for number one–themselves. If I had the money to pay her debt, I would do it so that she did not need the resources of so many of you who knifed her in the back. The way the Democrat Party tried early on to push her out (especially you) long before the primaries were completed, is a shameless joke.
The better candidate? The problem is you will never convince us that your guy is the better candidate for the job. He is just a “change” artist.

What the Heck is this talk about HRC campaign debt. I thought she claims to have gathered 18million votes or supporters.
If each of her supporter pays $1 into her campaign fund; bingo the debt will be over.
If she has all these so called 18million passionate supporters let them pay off her debt so that we can know they are really her supporters, period. Aything short of this is absolute lip service support.

I am kinda offended by your comments. I am a Die Hard Clinton Supporter, and it is America, and she has and had every right to run as long as she did. Yes, her debt is high, but she also has acknowledged that it needs to be paid. She sent out a fund raising email to her supporters, and I have donated and I know others have. If we are going to win in November, we need to stick together and quit pointing fingers. That is the worst thing we can do right now. Hillary has asked us to support Obama, and I being a Clinton supporter am. Please folks, lets stop the finger pointing and move on. I also appreciate as a Clinton supporter Obama helping her with her Debt as well. These kinds of things happen, and we all just need to stand together to elect a Democrat to the White House.

If you watch CSPAN for very long you see an orchestrated attempt by Republican operatives to disparage anyone in the Democratic party and create dissent within the party. They often call in on the Democratic line and sound like Democrats for a while and then go completely off the deep end with ridiculous, inflamatory comments. The same is probably happening at least some in the above statements. If we wanted distortion we could just tune in to FOX NEWS…right! Democrats, hold strong this November. It’s going to take everything we’ve got to succeeed. Enough of the misdirection and lies. If Obama can pull off this election, with our help, it will be one of the greatest moments in world history. Let’s get the job done and UNITE!

Sorry, but $4 a gallon was a disaster brought on by the oil barons in the White House, Bush and Cheney. Drilling for more oil only encourages the continuation of the wasteful Bush era. Not a solution.
Besides, if we could drill our way out of this, why aren’t the oil companies drilling on the 68 million acres of land already leased? If there isn’t oil there, then release the lease. If there is, why aren’t they going for it?
Sorry to hear you have such a distorted view of the issues.

Paul,
I’m with you on the goal and you sound reasonable but Obama is going to need all the cash he can get to fight off the Rebublican 527 groups. For those of us that can help Hillary that’s great but we need to keep our eyes on the prize also. The noble thing to do is for Hillary to accept her own personal debt and get help to retire the part she didn’t loan to the campaign. It was her choice Paul to keep spending money long after the math showed she couldn’t win without some kind of major calamity to Obama. Any other Democratic candidate would have dropped out for the good of the party, and everyone else did just that. If Obama wasn’t such a great candidate we all would have lined up behind Hillary by now but Obama has shown to be a once in a generation candidate, who will bring in millions of new voters and effectuate so much needed change within our society and political system if we unite. I agree with you Paul. Let’s do what we can to help Hillary’s debt but stand together most of all to elect a Democrat this fall!

I love Hillary and all she has done. I pray to God she runs again either in 2012 or 2016, depending on who wins this race, and this time wins.
I do feel Bill R. is a traitor as Bill Clinton gave him the job and position to become who he is today, and he couldn’t turn around and even say, Yeah, Hillary can do the job. And even now he is only helping because she’s a fellow dem, not because he cares.
Go Hillary!!! – Pay up Bill R – either in your time or your money, you owe her that.

Have you ever been to an Obama rally? Amazing! He starts his speeches slowly, quietly, and builds throughout. By the end, everyone is echoing YES WE CAN! That’s definitely a once-in-a-generation leader. And the crowds are HUGE! We are not alone.
Of course, his speech wouldn’t get that reaction if he didn’t share our own ideals. Our own goals. Our own American Dream. But he does!
I’m with you. Obama is going to need all the resources we can provide. The Republican 527s have already created hate websites trying to smear the Democrats like they did in 2004. Working together we can overcome this.

Dana,
Thank you for the comment, I agree with you 100%. I am still glad though that Obama has offered to help and that Gov. Richardson has also offered to help relieve the debt. In the fund raising email, Hillary has acknowledged that she does not expect what she put into the campaign to be paid back. I agree also about keeping our eyes on the ball. With all of us, there will be a Democrat elected in the fall. Thank you again for the comment and thank you for the compliment, you sound reasonable as well, and I thank you! :)

yoga82y: you have explained the anger and the real picture of the campaign in the clearest possible way. For those who watched the entire campaign and saw all of the games and staging the media and the Party were doing, we could not believe it. Lifelong Democrats do not switch easily, especially my family and the Democrats I know, but this election is the most twisted one, yet. We will not have this inexperienced and phony candidate pushed down our throats. If it takes voting for a better candidate in another party, that will not be the first time, nor the last time.
Hillary is the most qualified candidate, McCain second, and Obama is not an option for me. He is not qualified in experience, knowledge, or integrity. We have seen him backpedal, plaigiarize, dump his lifelong mentors and associates, and double-talk his way through this entire process. He needs Hillary’s supporters, but I do not believe he will get enough of them.

Posted by: georgia | June 29, 2008, 11:18 pm 11:18 pm

This is not about Hillary Clinton. These whining sharks are not democrats.
Bitterness like this is not about Hillary, nor is it of a democrat – it’s bored republicans who want to split the democrat party, and it’s McCain voters that Hillary flattered over for the primary and will go back to him for the general, and it’s the Rush chaos-creators, and lastly it’s the died in the wool racists who can’t bear the inevitable win coming at the democrats in November that’s being handed to them by someone who doesn’t look like them. Nobody whines like this and shoots themselves in the foot at the same time over a loss. Not voting, or voting McCain sets democrats back to pre- Bill & Hillary, so how logical is that. Hillary’s loss is being used for an excuse to have a hissy fit against a black candidate who just happened to kick her butt and played by the rules doing it. Hillary and Obama are taking care of business so forget about it.

Nicholas:
There is no bill blocking the oil companies from drilling on land they already lease. The bill blocking oil drilling is for offshore drilling. That is, new leases. Why aren’t they drilling on what they already have?
Regardless of who becomes president, the price of gas is going to go up. Oil companies have us over a barrel, and they know it. Neither candidate will be able to change that. However, Obama does have a plan for alternative energy sources to wean us off of oil. All oil, both foreign and domestic.
And, Obama has already held an energy summit with Colleges, Business Executives and legislators to promote the development of alternate sources. General Motors was included, and contributed. The group was comprised of Americans without regard to political party. An outstanding first step. McCain has done what?

A Judas is a Judas is a JUdas. Would Richardson shell out at least 30pcs of silver for Hillary?
Hillary won the popular vote, but lost the delegate count because of betrayals (read: richardson. et.al.) and turncoatism amongst delegates and supporters, and through intra-party manipulations and maneuverings favoring Obama, and the American Obamedia. The party should have let the entire process play out up to the Denver convention, where the candidates could make their last respective cases and where the delegates could make a decision, taking into account factors for selecting the BEST candidate.
Now they’re scrambling to get Hillary’s supporter- forcing Hillary, Bill and even Chelsea to campaign for and endorse Obama immediately. My oh my, talk about nominating a candidate with so much demerits. I say let OBama win or lose in November on his own merits or demerits. Hillary should not even accept a VP offer.

To All Hillary Supporters who are going to vote for McCain: Go ahead, vote for him. If he wins, remember you get what you vote for. Don’t come back crying in the streets that he is appointing more conservative judges, trying to overturn Roe v Wade. Or crying that the conservatives are holding you back from achiebing equal pay, or the war in Iraq continues on, or people are struggling to maintain their homes, food on the table, gas in the car, etc. So yes, vote for John McCain. Just don’t come back looking for support to protest his policies. Both Hillary and Obama were excellent candidates, but the delegate votes (not popular) detemine the winner. Obama won, so lets move on and support the agenda of both Hillary and Obama. All Democrats need to help Hillary pay off her debt, so the party can move on unencumbered.

I would really question their “kindness”. I feel they are afraid, very afraid of Hillary as yet and the power she has. Obama needs Hillary’s supporters to win in November. Will he get them, its doubtful. Richardson, I agree is a Judas, and I wouldn’t accept anything from him, at all (idiot), Pelosi and Dean are now courting Hillary because they know she is needed to unite the Democratic party in any hopes of winning this year. “What goes around comes around” and it looks like the Democratic players (Obama, Pelosi, Dean, Richardson) are having to face the music of all the hatred they gave Hillary in the primaries. As a lifelong Democrat, it sickens me the way this years elections have progressed. I will not vote for party preference, but what would be the best choice for America…that is my right.

Totally! Hope Bill will not be browbeaten by the DNC and the media into the “support and endorse and raise fund” crap for Obama. Remember Bill, the Obama camp used the race issue and deflected it onto you, and they had denigrated your presidency and your legacy. The Obama campaign not only has plagiarized Hillary’s plans and policies, it is actually riding on Bill Clinton’s 1992 platform of change, “it’s the economy, stupid!” and “leadership that will restore the American dream…” and Bill’s only Democratic Presidency that really worked internationally and provided prosperity for the American people, that even Republicans could not effectively assail.

Hillary didn’t come onto her own till she got bill to go away as he wasn’t helping matters and she seemed to become her own person politically. Now people know her better and they like her genuine toughness. I wonder if Hillary got saddled with some poor choices to run and staff her campaign at the top from bill’s advice. In some strange way he seemed to want to sabatoge her campaign by what he said and how he acted. It was more than a little bizarre. I would give Richardson credit for showing judgement to leave a messed up campaign for a better one as its still for the same party and they really want to win this time. And he is showing class to help get the financial pressure off of Hillary by raising funds. He is an asset to the Democrat party.

And as one of her supporters I would suggest to Senator Clinton to not take a dime from that Judas.
And as far as Obama and his minions heaping praise upon Hillary, please she does not need your dumb platitudes.
We know Hillary is terrific, we also know she is highly intelligent, a woman of substance, a true leader and she should have won the primaries, but the DNC, the RBC, gave the nomination to Obama.
.
And the DNC will hear our disgust and irreconcilable voices come the General Election.
Women have a great capacity to place themselves in someone else’s shoes and we felt that what the DNC did to Hillary they also did to us as women.
Our votes are the only tools that we have right now to strike back at the DNC and that we will use it.

bill clinton had 8 years as president, what a lost opportunity to really do good for the country. I am not sure what we got from him over the 8 years except the impeachment show and failed bombing of afghanistan that failed to get bin laden. We didn’t even get health care reform or fix social security or keep college tuitions from astronomically rising. Some tech/net boomers made a lot of money and then put the rest of us in a bear market. Our intelligence services were seriously weakened and we payed for it by believing them to the point of invading Iraq. Bush continued the mess and compounded it to no end and Lord only knows what he’s up to now. yes, bill left Hillary a lot of baggage that now she has to lift on her own.

CMSgt Gary Preston
I gotta tell you that there a lot of Hillary supporters voting McCain. Like it or not the PUMA Pac and similar movements are growing.
Guess people don’t like the media demonizing their candidate and pretending the opponent is a saint. Guess the hypocrisy of the DNC was too much to take.
Look around you’ll find the ex Hillary voters…Try googling anti-Obama.
Remember this is the year of CHANGE.

I think Hillary should accept all the help (yet to be scheduled) that Richardson wants to give her with her debt….after all the Clinton’s campaigned for Richardson to help him get elected Governor.
I’m guessing that he has very little time to serve as Governor . Hed’s way too busy cowtowing to Obama.

Honorable of you Richardson, for showing leadership, unity, and forgiveness for being called a traitor. Somebody’s got to do it. PUMA’s are still trying to validate there point by getting free press and zero $$$ to her campaign. The real Clinton supporters, you know, the one’s who were voting on the issues, have moved on and are helping the campaign as well. Obama ’08.

We can help Hillary -she doesnt need this bozo to help with anything. If he is helping her at all it is because his conscious is bothering him or he fears that more scandals may come out about Obama (and they WILL ) and it will lead the Super delegates to turn to Hillary before the convention. Either way Richardson and his bad “doo” need to stay in New Mexico and keep his mouth shut. He is a traitor and he spit in the Clintons face. Funny, he actually thinks that Obama is going to do something for him. What a fool. Obama is all for himself !!

Hillary suporters, presumbly, all Democrats should, in principle, vote Obama, who is the official nominee of the Democratic party. If they vote for McCain, just to spite Obama, then, it amounts to betraying your own Party.
Loyalty to Party is more important than loyalty to a person. 2008 is crucial to Democrats. Please,Hillary loyalists, heed her advice, and go with Obama.A mistake on your part might help the Republicans to lease the White House for another four years.

As women, we are trying to present ourselves as the stronger sex, which I believe we are, but the women who are still clinging to Hillary and not uniting to win in Nov are only hurting the country and themselves. Do you know how foolish are look? You look like little kids who got spanked. GROW UP!! We are women!! We have been through worse…uniting is the only way to fulfill Hillarys dreams. The Republicans are laughing on the side lines and saying, ” These dumb women, we can lead them anywhere!” Get a grip.

“Hillary Clinton fought her heart out against all odds to win for all of the American people.”
What do you have to be smoking to write something like that? Hillary didn’t fight “against all odds”. She had every possible advantage entering this race; nationwide name recognition, a seemingly overwhelming number of superdelegates, an established set of donors, an popular ex-president spouse, etc. She lost due to her lack of a real record & her negative campaigning.
…and I doubt Jacksmith is “Working Class” if you see him posting large rants on every Hillary related article.

TO ALL:
Please stand up for equal rights for women. Any support for Obama who clearly ran a racist and sexist campaign, will only serve to make acceptable the sexist and racist campaign he ran and allow the future candidates to do the same. There is a lot of talk about the Supreme Court Justices which will be replaced in the next 4 years. Obama would like you to believe that we will lose abortion rights if he is not elected. Please know the facts: ANY SUPREME COURT JUSTICE NOMINATED MUST GET AT LEAST a MAJORITY OF THE SENATE TO APPROVE HIS/HER NOMINATION. Democrats hold a majority in the Senate and will not pass an anti abortion or conservative Justice. Therefore the Supreme Court is in no danger of becoming more conservative in the next 4 years no matter who is elected President.

This man is a disgrace along with Senator Obama.
This is a short synopsis of how my community feels about Senator Obama. We are so sick and tired of not having our voices heard. So here goes……..
Obama, the new guy in town, is a con, a Chicago politician: Obama lacks high morals and will stop at nothing when it comes to further his ambition. He’s a fast talker speaking out of both sides of his mouth.
He bragged about his church. He would never leave the “black” community.
Then threw them under the bus
Bragged about his pastor. He could never leave Reverend Wright, he’s like an old uncle.
Then threw him under the bus
Bragged about his grandmother then called her a “typical white person”
She then went under the bus.
He wrote a book about his father but now that he has been found to be a “non practicing” Muslim
He threw his dad under the bus. Definitely had to disown him.
His Chicago supporters consist of anti Semitics, racists, criminals or far left liberals.
Farrakhan, Rezko, Ayers and Father Pflaeger are all under the bus too
When it comes to Obama’s associates he has figured out that all he has to do is either denounce or reject them and then it’s okay. Sometimes he just doesn’t discuss them at all.
He had a coworker that was a domestic terrorist, William Ayers. Obama laughed and avoided the issue, when asked about his involvement.
Barack Hussein Obama is a fast talker that knows Chicago politics. He will do anything and destroy anyone to win this election. When the heat is on, he avoids debates, changes his mind, defends his thinking with speeches and runs from the press.
Obama will speak few words without a script. He is poor, at best, in debates and he knows that an open speech might divulge his true character.
The icing on the cake was to change his mind on public financing.
Barack Obama has worked on the issue of political reform for years.
On Larry King in Jan. 2007, he told Mr. King that the public-financing system works.
He challenged the Republicans since Feb 2007 to limit their spending. He vowed to do so along with them if he were the Democratic nominee. In fact, a majority of his career was spent talking about how much he believed in public financing.
He speaks so calmly but Obama has the “king or prince” title in mind. Obama’s ambition is to win, cheat and lie if he has to. This is democracy?
Senator Obama will say whatever he has to in order to convince the public and the Democratic Party that he’s the nominee of “change”, a uniter, a man of the future. Nothing could be further from the truth.
A naïve politician? We think not.

Discusting!!! These politicians are the scum of the earth and are in it for themselves. This shows that what ever is expediant to their political careers is the way they’ll go. Jomama : What you fail to realize is that if Obama were to be elected, he would be a one term President and create such problems that a democrat would not be elected for another 20 years. So, if niave Obama supporters refuse to vote Hillary 2012, then they are welcome to vote the next conservative that will do nothing to help the liberal causes. Know that most of us refusing to support Obama, do so because McCain is a better match for our needs. Like getting out of Iraq as winners and certainly requiring drilling in many areas that were banned, as well as increasing all other power sources. On the other side, the Obama supporters are the extreme liberal end of the democratic party. Therefore refusing to vote Hillary 2012 in favor of the next Bush, Jeb or almost any other Republican would be cutting off your nose to spite your face. You need to realize that McCain is the same man John Kerry considered for his VP……same man that stood against the “swift boat” group for John Kerry. McCain is known as the most liberal conservative…..very close to the middle.
So good luck dear but voting against Hillary again will not help you.

truthtell : At this point the court is 5/4 or very close and therefore the democrats know that they can not pass a conservative Justice to the Supreme Court. By the way, Kennedy was nominated by Reagan and seems to vote liberal. Any President including Obama could nominate a justice and only later find that they vote different than was expected……thems the breaks. Obama won’t help the situation.

The pejorative comments about Governor Richardson tend to be superficial and trite, consider the tone and intellect of sentiment. Richardson has demonstrated that he is his own man and not a Clinton minion of any kind. The Obama endorsement was pure political insight and instinct on Richardson’s part in the end game which is called politics. If you have the cards play the game. Richardson has the the cards in hand and influence to be a true leader but not as Vice President. The Carville comment is pure silliness for a guy who is married to Mary Magdalene, I mean Matalin…

Don’t quit your day job to become a fortune teller.
Your poor attempt to portray Obama’s support as only coming from extremists fails to explain why he so was able to handily beat the former party favorite. You don’t don’t do that with just the fringe elements.
Not to mention, there is NO WAY we are exiting Iraq as “winners” as you claim McCain will provide you. Your candidate Hillary should have never voted for that war in the first place. I don’t care what excuse of the day you choose to put your faith in, the fact is that she didn’t want to appear weak on defense, so she choose to contribute to the deaths of numerous others.
She has no real experience of her own, refuses to own up to her mistakes, is one of the more corrupt politicians out there, has repeatedly been shown to be a liar, etc, etc, etc. I’d say a vote against here ANYTIME would best serve my interest, dear.

Hillary Clinton, US President – Written March 22nd 2008
A Democratic Update 2008 Election
By Michelle Whitedove
I really try NOT to watch the TV news; I feel that it may influence my psychic information. My predictions don’t come from intelligent deductions, ego, or opinions. Right before Super Tuesday I was swamped with emails, it was not looking good for Hillary. Everyone wanted me to give an update. Some wanted me to concede to the popular opinion that Obama had a solid lead and Hillary should just drop out. I turned on the TV; the newscasters were predicting doom and gloom for Clinton. My mind was spinning; I started to second guess my prediction given by “Spirit”. I turned off the television, and went into prayer, “Has the Presidential outcome changed?” I asked.
Soon I was given a vision of Hillary being sworn in as the next president elect. Proud and regal she stood with her hand on the bible wearing a royal blue suit. Behind her, the Vice President was a white man; his face was not in clear focus. So my predictions remain unchanged, my faith unwavering. The Democratic ticket will be Hillary Clinton for President and John Edwards as the vice president. (See my May 07 BLOG) You see this is the reason that Hillary was born, the US Presidency is written in her destiny. She has been preparing for this her entire life. Hillary knows that she can make a difference in world politics. “Spirit” says that she is the right person for the job at this time.
What will happen to Obama?
As of today, Obama is over-confidant and the power is going to his head. He is buying into his own PR hype. His people are playing up the Christian family man, but we are in the beginning stages of scandal, after scandal. His colorful past will crop up as his opposition is digging for the dirt. In Obama’s younger years he never thought that he would be running for US President. So now the ugly truth will be spoon fed to the American public: marital indiscretions, prejudice, drug use, associations with the wrong people and even money laundering associated with his church. The country’s opinion will turn on him. Unfortunately this will cause Oprah great embarrassment, and will lead to a drop in her ratings.
In the end, Obama’s reputation will be too tarnished for the vice president, Hillary will not want him. I believe that she has already spoken to John Edwards about him jumping back on the ticket as VP. John is the man with ethics, morals, and he’s standing by his wife during her time of crisis. He looks good on paper and he’s not a threat.

Someone in this very blog has said that Hillary now needs help from the likes of Richardson because her campaign was “spending like a drunken sailor”. Well she had to fire campaign manager, Patti Solis Doyle, who now works openly for BHO. Solis Doyle, a Chicago native and friend of Axelrod’s didn’t budget to compete against BHO in the red state caucuses which is where BHO got his delegate lead . Makes you think!

Bill should wait to see who Obama picks as his VP. If it’s not Hillary he should still endorse, however, he should wait until the convention.

Why doesn’t he just shut up and realize that nobody is interested in him or what he has to say.

Sweetie, Obama barely won the pledged delegates and when all are counted in August as full strength, Obama will be 44 delegates ahead…..plus the 59 delegates he did not win in MI. Hillary easily won the popular vote by more than 187 thousand even when including the over estimated causues which favor Obama. HOW Obama did this was to run a racist and sexist campaign. He also benifited from racist voting by blacks (90+%) and foolish young people that can not name one reason they are voting for him other then “hope” and “change” which ofcourse are not accomplishments of Obama’s, just words. It is still possible that in August the DNC super delegates change their mind, as is their right and vote for the most electable candidate, which is their only job. Manay Super Delegates are elected officials and if they see Obama as hurting their own chances for re-election, then Obama will not be nominated. If they continue to back Obama then Obama will still lose and we will have completed a racist and sexist campaign which will never happen again, as long as Obama loses…….if by some chance Obama is elected then we can expect more racist and sexist campaigns.
I will vote McCain 2008 and HILLARY 2012

I have no respect for Richardson. He is a pandering, selfish liar. It is the least he can do to personally pay off as much of Hillary’s debt as he can – and that still will not put him in good graces. He sunk very very low – can’t stand to look at the man.

“Sweetie, Obama barely won the pledged delegates…”
Blah, blah, blah. Once again you totally miss the point. The fact is, Obama DID win the contest per the rules that were clearly stated in the beginning. Clinton had NO problem with any of the rules until she started losing. So, cry about MI & FL, but Clinton didn’t care, and publicly stated they didn’t matter, until she decided it was to her advantage.
You can also whine about allegedly foolish young people supporting him, but apparently the so-called “wiser” elders somehow couldn’t see through obvious exaggerations like “32 years of experience”, “a lifetime of results”, or any of the other obvious cases of resume inflation Clinton routinely peddled. She’s a fake and you need to have your head buried deep not to see it.
Vote Hillary in 2012. You’ll be just as successful as you were in ’08 sweetie.

The Denver PAC is a new PAC formed to make sure that a roll call is taken at the dem convention in Denver.
This will ensure that the historic level of support that Hillary achieved during the primaries is on full display for all to see.
Dean, Pelosi and Obama are trying to stop the roll call in some desperate attempt to display party “unity”.
Make sure the voices for Hillary’s 18 million are heard supporters are heard loud and clear at the convention.
There should be no coronation when more people voted for your opponent.

Hey Jomama: “Blah, blah, blah. Once again you totally miss the point. The fact is, Obama DID win the contest per the rules that were clearly stated in the beginning.”
It is really very funny how Obama supporters know so little and talk so much foolishness. SWEETIE, There is no DNC rule which allows the rules committe to give 4 “pledged delegates” which were won by Hillary, who was smart enough not to remove her name from the ballot, and give them to Obama or anyone else that was not on the ballot. There is also no rule which allows 55 pledged delegates when voted as “uncommitted” to Obama. In fact there is a rule which says “uncommitted” delegates go to the convention as just that “uncommitted” untill after the first vote. DNC has been rewriting rules to favor Obama and that is not democratic….it is more like Sadam’s Iraq. If that sounded democratic to you then you should move to Iraq or any other non demcodratic country.

A few thoughts on this race….
1) Bill Richardson always appears to be severely constipated. 2) Michelle Obama should stop wearing those sun dresses and dress in a more dignified manner. 3) I’m already tired of listening to Barack Obama. How thin will he be wearing come November?

I have been procrastanating and I haven’t sent money to help Hillary retire her debt. I’m embarrased that the media and comedians are making sport of her debt. If all of her supporters would send a dollar, hell we could help her. I’m asking all Clinton supporters to send at least 10 dollars to her. I will meet you on Hillary Clinton.com. Let’s show the media, obama supporter, and comedians that we don’t need a damn thing from them.

Ya sure buddy go do your thang!
I say let the DNC and the rest of the crumbs worry about the DEBT!
The DNC is bleeding to death, lets not supply any tourniquets.
They had the best candidate and they bashed her to death, let them see how that feels now. NO MONEY1

“There is no DNC rule which allows the rules committe to give 4 “pledged delegates…”
Typical Clintonista. If you actually wanted the follow the letter of the law, MI & FL should have had NO delegates because they broke the rules. BTW, who set up those rules? Hey, it was some of the key figures of Clinton’s campaign! Who didn’t say anything about these rules at the beginning of the contest? Clinton!
The only person you’re fooling is yourself.

To “Jomama”
Since you know so much about the Dem’s “rules”, can you please point out to me where in the rules can you find what the DMC did in awarding the Michigan delegates? Where does it say that the party can give 55 undeclared delegates to a person (BHO)who was not even a candidate in that state? Where does it say that the party can take away 4 earned delegates from the candidate who did win the primary (Hillary) and give them to someone who was not competing (BHO) to compensate him for people who could have voted for him if he had actually been on the ballot(BHO)?
Please spare me of your characteristic vulgarity if you do not have an answer.

So I don’t get what the Hillary supporters (is that still what they’re called?) want. She asked for help. Her opponent and his supporters turned the other cheek and offered to help these poor businesses left in the wake of her financial disarray. Now, out of spite, you don’t want them to get paid? I have a feeling if Obama hadn’t offered to help, you would be on here slamming him for that….

When Gov Richardson kept the nation in “suspense” while deciding which candidate was better for HIM, his career and political future, he unfortunately enforced the latino stereotype of “oportunismo” . It is argued that he had a “democratic right” to endorse Sen. Obama; however, his individual freedom to choose or his personal agenda within the party is not the real issue/problem, but rather his loyalty to his constituency. In pursuing his political interests he acted against those of the Hispanic/latino community that he -as one of their political leaders- should have always represented. The diverse Hispanic/latino community and its vote was united behind the candidacy of Sen. Clinton who represented their concrete interests and had knowledge of their needs, problems and socio-economic aspects of the countries of origin.Gov Richardson’s credibility is damaged. The “Richardson factor” and his endorsement might have helped only him and not Sen Obama who needs the key vote of the important Hispanic/latino minority group in November…

For everyone who condemns Richardson for only supporting Obama for self-serving reasons and then helping to pay of Clinton’s spending spree for more self serving reasons, what do you think Clinton wanted to be president for? Clinton XY and XX have continually shown their desire to help themselves. They are only interested in their own success. They earned $109 million and 7 years and will probably make another $109 million in the next 7. They want you, probably groaning every time you fill up your tank, to pay down their debt. The debt they rang up to put themselves in power.

In the meantime, “American small business owners” are being stuck with the uncollectable debt that Hillary racked up even when everyone knew Obama was going to be the nominee! No one mentions them in their speeches that all need to work together to retire the debt. Typical overspending based upon ego and no end game to pay off debts! How American. My predication is that Hillary gets all of her debt paid in full and the vendors get pennies on the dollar. But keep giving speeches about the Americans having trouble filling their gas tanks….the small business owner is so wealthy that the can write off Hillary’s debt no problem.
Do the math and see how much more $$$$ in sales a small business owner has to generate at a 15% profit margin for every $$$$ they have to write off as uncollectable debt.
