RNC Already Using Clinton’s Words Against Obama

Those scamps at the Republican National Committee have posted a video on Youtube  featuring Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, saying that Sen. Barack Obama, D-NY, lacks the experience necessary to be president.

"In this election we need a nominee who can pass the commander-in-chief test. Someone ready on Day One to defend our country and keep our families safe. And we need a president who passes that test…and when there’s a crisis, when that phone rings, whether it’s at 3 PM and 3 AM, in the White House there is no time for speeches and on-the-job training…

"Senator McCain will bring a lifetime of experience to the campaign, I will bring a lifetime of experience and Senator Obama will bring a speech that he gave in 2002.

"I think that is a significant difference. I think that since we now know Senator McCain will be the nominee for the Republican Party, national security will be front and center in this election. We all know that.

"And I think it is imperative that each of us be able to demonstrate we can cross the commander-in-chief threshold. And I believe that I’ve done that. Certainly, Senator McCain has done that. And you will have to ask Senator Obama with respect to his candidacy.”

"The video speaks for itself and goes to the central question that will be asked about Barack Obama," said an RNC official. "Democrats throughout the course of this primary campaign have questioned Sen. Obama’s leadership and judgment and that will be a central part of the discourse we engage in with the American people."

This is a PERFECT example of why there can NEVER be an Obama/Clinton ticket.

Even if Clinton accepts the VP with Obama i’m STILL most definetly 100% voting McCain in November.

“Even if Clinton accepts the VP with Obama i’m STILL most definetly 100% voting McCain in November.”
In your bitterness… you would cast your vote for no healthcare, the further demise of a struggling economy, a war with no end, and an oil drill in your back yard… smart, real smart buddy.
You’d cut off your nose to spite your face… you never were a democrat.

Reps are just reiterating what is the truth. She needs to hang in there because the next couple of weeks will tell us if Obama is the coward a lot of people think he is. Or he’ll show his true color and demonstrate what he learned at Trinity!

Now we will see what kind of damage Hillary’s long negative attacking campaign will do to our democratic nominee and the democratic party. The republicans are using her own words and videos to tear down Obama, just like we (and she) knew they would. These kind of attacks had no place in a nomination process. Hillary broke new ground. She has more in common with McCain, her pal, than she does Obama. What a shame.

Hilliary betraying the progreesives of the party just like good ol’ Bill, and now she DEMANDS to be rewarded for it… How pathetic can these clowns get?

Obama’s perfect judgment about the war in Iraq was flawed and wrong. Obama’s judgment about the church he attended for 20 years is flawed. Obama’s judgment about his close personal friends is flawed. Obama’s judgment taking drugs is flawed. Obama’s judgment regarding smoking is flawed, Obama’s judgment regarding “Iran is a tiny threat” is flawed, Obama’s judgment about taking the highest office in the world with no experience is flawed—which represents he is not thinking of the nation but himself. And, all of us taxpayers help support a church that “hates white America” to the tune of 15 million dollars. It is all too sad.

This is EXACTLY why that backstabbing, manipulative, sckalawag should not be on the ticket!! She is not worthy and im sick to my stomach just thinking about it. She trying to steal the thunder of Obama getting the Presidential Nomination. VERY SELFISH!!

Jim et all.,
Obama isn’t qualified to be commander in chief. He has horrendous judgement. Just lookk at his frineds associations and church of the past 20 years.
Hillary didn’t make him unqualified. She didnt chose his associations. She didn’t make him inexperienced.
He is these things and he is unelectable. It has nothing to do with Hillary. keep blaming her for his weakness as a candidate. you’ll keep pushing women to McCain.

John McCain will make a fine President. He is a decent qualifed candidate, unlike the complete unqualifed disaster the Dems have chosen.

Well… isn’t she hoist on her own petard? She thinks the man has no experience and would fail the commander in chief test (whatever that is) and now she wants to be his no. 2?? I don’t thinks so. She picked a bad strategy, attacked him unfairly and maligned his character and ability. He should do nothing now to support her naked ambition.

The Obama supporters think the best way to get Hillary supporters to vote for Obama is to call them “stupid”? Get real.

Posted by: Texas Lil | June 3, 2008, 6:45 pm 6:45 pm

Blake, you wrote: “In your bitterness… you would cast your vote for no healthcare…” I would certainly appreciate it if you would provide the source for your information that Sen. McCain plans to eliminate all hospitals and clinics!
The United States has an excellent health care system. (Why do you think the Canadians are frequently coming across the boarder to receive health care?) But what Sen. Obama and Sen. Clinton want is to implement universal health care, where eventually private health insurance is eliminated and the federal government will run the entire system.

Geez.
Here comes all the republican bloggers to drive the wedge between the clinton and obama supporters.
This is just the start folks.
Congrats to senator Obama for becoming the first african american to be chosen a major parties nominee.
Its a great day in american history.

Stop it America!!!! We elected George Bush remember? We cant let his policies continue with John McCain. Do we want healthcare or not? Do we want fair taxes for the middle class? How about war for 100 years, all of our young coming home mentally disabled, paralized or in body bags? Stop bickering and stand up for a change in our government. It can only happen with UNITY!

So you would want us to take a bigger risk in a complete unknown. For a reason nonother than you like him or you agree with what he ‘claims’ he’ll do. Or you are a sucker for soundbites. ‘Change’ is what got you.
You come down on others for electing bush, I would too. But don’t expect this blind faith to follow a puppet that has no record and no experience. I for one won’t do it.
Hillary is the ONLY logical choice for America! If not Hillary, then by default it has to be McCain. He is a moderate anyway!

Obama is only “unknown” to those who choose not to learn about him for “unknown” reasons.
They said he couldn’t in 2007 and he proved them wrong.
Now they say he can’t in the Fall and you bet he will prove them wrong.
Yes we can!!!

Kissthesky: there you go again making the classical error.
Obama thrives on the presumptions of his political enemies especially when they presume he will be a cake walk.
Look at his senate race too and you will begin to see the danger of that assumption.

Lana,
the country is on the worst track that it has been in over 30 years. It’s not that Obama is so talented, it’s because many new voters want a change. It could’ve been anybody.
He also got lucky that a) the media was behind him, b) the clinton campaign made serious mistakes, and c) see point A.
Oh I will grant him this: he somehow magically got 90% of black voters to vote for him. Wow I wonder what genius it took to pull that off?

Whichever candidate you support,( and I am an pro-choice, anti-war, tired of the rich getting richer and the poor getting stepped on supporter myself, thank you).I was simply pointing out the fact that all of that good could end up being for nothing. How do you think Hillary wants to be remembered in the history books? I can guarantee it’s not as the person that helped bring this country to four more years of McBush politics- by having her supporters be so enraged they brought on the Repubs again. They basically have the same policies ( her and Obama) , we all say vote the issues not the person. Come November we’ll see what’s most important to Americans.

Posted by: enoughsenough | June 3, 2008, 8:27 pm 8:27 pm

Vickie- Really? How long do you think it will take the MSM to spin this on Hillary? It didn’t take them much longer to spin a bunch of the other stuff that happened. This is my opinion and I was just voicing it. I am not trying to be the great uniter, I just thought there might be another negative to the whole McCain crossover effect that other people may want to know about.

it is obama, his supporters, the dnc bigwigs and the msm who will get more killed, and send all of us to the soup line.
if you all had been so concerned about that you would have paid more attention to sen. clintons solutions than obama’s speech.
just remember obama, the far left of the dnc, with help of the msm will be as much to blame for a mccain presidency and whatever it brings as any of us.

Justsaying- You have some very interesting points- I disagree with almost all of them , but that is what this election is all about. The freedom to disagree. I wish you the best of luck in your future and may good judgement always be with you.. and let me just say..one last thing maybe I stretched it when I said their policies were basically the same as I gave no metric for my measurement. Compared with McCain they are basically exactly the same.

I’m a Obama supporter but I will welcome whatever Hillary can bring to the cause of beating McLame, the last thing we want to do is try to exclude and disillusion our fellow citizens like the republicans.

Me too, Kate….I hear she has no experience in the light of the national press and is sure to provide a lot of comedy to the campaign. The lady that played Hillary on SNL has got a role in her future.

michelle obama does not want sen. clinton around, so I hope sen. clinton will take michelle obama’ advice and go back to her day job.
michelle obama is not welcoming and sen. clinton should not impose.
and the deal about the vp spot.
sen. clinton was asked the question,
if it would help the party would you consider vp. she said yes to help the party. i hope she does not.
but i put this just to remind those who say she is trying to get on the ticket with him
obama needs sen. clinton more than she needs him.
but michelle does not want her.
so sen. clinton should stay away.
she can’t really help them anyway

Obama-Sebelius Ticket Floated By Wes Clark

Posted by: Kate | June 3, 2008, 9:03 pm 9:03 pm

Wes Clark floats Obama-Sebelius
Wes Clark stopped out in Texas yesterday to drop by a fundraiser Kansas Governor Kathleen Sebelius headlined for Michael Skelly, a Democrat running for congress in Texas.
Clark introduced Sebelius and, according to a regular correspondent and reliable source who was there, said:
“The London odds-makers say that Kathleen Sebelius is the odds-on favorite to be the next vice
president. I can tell you, she’d make a great vice presidential choice.”
He then introduced her as “The next vice president of the United States….”
Sebelius is typically considered for the slot only if Obama is the nominee.
A sign of the times from a Clinton loyalist.

Its Obama job to unite the party–not Hillarys. She’s simply too good now for the rotten party that they are. They stole her delegates. Just because he outsmarted her campaign strategically he didn’t win. Hillary is the people’s choice by far.

This campaign she has ran damaged her rep.. but she can fix it depending on how she acts now !

Posted by: Kate | June 3, 2008, 9:26 pm 9:26 pm

What she said is completely true. He is totally inexperienced and certainly doesn’t come close to Clinton and Mccain in regards to that. Furthermore, Clinton supporters are voting for her and supporting her because of her massive amounts of experience. Why then would we willingly vote for Obama instead of Mccain? Eight years ago the American people were sold a president with no experience and look where that has gotten us. Apparently it is only the Clinton supporters that can see the reason the country is where it is at is not simply because Bush is a republican, but more so that he was not prepared for the job. It makes absolutely no sense whatsoever to put another inexperience president in place to try and clean up the mess from GW. That is why Mccain will win; that is why Hillary supporters cannot, in good conscious, vote for Obama; and that is why this country will have to endure republican values for another 4 years. But at least Mccain is more of a centrist than a right-winger (like Bush) or a liberal left-winger (like Obama).

Obama’s idiotic statements of the last few weeks, such as Iran isn’t a threat because it’s a little country, confirm that indeed he doesn’t pass the Commander-in-Chief test.
When he’s sitting down sipping tea with America’s worst enemies, how many misstatements do you think they’ll allot him? Not a single one.
