The Lady In The Pantsuit Says It’s Over
"It’s not over until the woman in the pantsuit says it is," Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, said a few weeks ago, quoting a supporter.
This afternoon she said it was over.
Watch HERE and read the transcript of her remarks HERE.

GOD BLESS THE LADY IN THE PANTS SUIT.
SHE SHOULD HAVE BEEN OUR PRESIDENT.
NOW WE WILL JUST HAVE TO SETTLE.

I stay at Hillary’s side so I’ll fight with her to beat John McCain in the GE. She totally convinced me of the necessity, for millions of Americans, to get the Republicans out of the White House. This time it must and shall be Obama.

After the media got done tearing up AL Gore in 2000 and he gave his speech to conceed they said if he had given that speech in the begining of his campagin he would be the President gee they said the same thing about Hillary today and I would say they feel guilty but not so you have to be honest it has been a long time since we had media with a heart.

TKay,
Pay No attention to the jerks in the media and listen to the candidate that you support. Watching Clinton’s speech today, she looked devasted but, I think I saw her soul for the first time, and it was genuine. Its time to rally around Obama. Like she said, we democrats are a family. Good families keep their disagreements in-house and unite against family enemies — THE GOP!!

I am going to try and appeal to your sense of reason. Please explain how the DNC disrespected Hillary. I might agree with you on the Media, but how did the DNC do it?

Here’s my view. Even if Hillary were able to keep Bill out of the media I’m still not convince she coulf be VP.
Yes her record is great and she brings voters but the SCANDALS. The Clinton scandals.
Sean Hannity would have a field day and this could unite the Republican party.
Obama should watch the polls. Right now he has 80% of the Democratic party behind. If this number grows, Jim Webb would make ga reat prospect.

It was time for Hillary to end this to bring unity to the party, hopefully she did not wait to long that it damaged it beyond repair. As for all of you wanting to vote for McCain instead, that is your right, but if he gets in, remember who put him there and that you will only have yourselves to blame when we lose everything under his ruling. Igmorance and anger is no excuse for voting for that man, Obama got the votes and the back of the majority of the SD’s so what someone had to, and as far as the race card goes, it was used on both candidates during this campaign. Grow up people and realize what is at stake here and do the right thing and vote for Obama!!

mcCain can take a vaction because he will be elected president in 2008. The Republicans played the public and the Media like pawns saying Obama would be a problem. Yes Obama is a Problem for the Democrats now.
The whites in this country will vote like they do down south and will crush Obama in the General Election

I don’t think Obama will get stomped. On the contrary. If McCain keeps giving speeches the way he gave on Tuesday, Obama could name Rev. Wright or Pfleger as V.P. and still win in a landslide.

McCain will do NOTHING for ordinary Americans.
McCain was asked by a New Orleans reporter why he voted twice against an independent commission to investigate the government’s failings before and after Hurricane Katrina, and he incorrectly stated that he had “voted for every investigation.”
McCain actually voted twice, in 2005 and 2006, to defeat a Democratic amendment that would have set up an independent commission along the lines of the 9/11 Commission. At the time of the second vote, members of both parties were complaining that the White House was refusing requests by Senate investigators for information.
McCain is a DISASTER.

Isn’t it GREAT to see an average American really make it big. Obama was raised by his single-mother with the help of his grandparents. He worked Hard, got a good education, and turned down large sums of money to go to work for the average American. What a great story. He raised his large sums of money for his campaign, not thru big corporate donors like many others, but thru average Americans giving $10 or $20 at a time. I suspect he is going to go down in history as one of the great presidents of all time. Obama will be Great in 2008!!!.
Posted by: pt | June 7, 2008, 8:11 pm 8:11 pm
It’s a sad day. Or was that last Tuesday? Yes, Obama was a selection, not an election.
This was the most corrupt primary I’ve ever seen. Whatever happened to OUR voting rights?
Closed caucuses, secret meetings, delegates awarded where none were earned, votes canceled, voters being told their votes are worth only HALF everyone else’s, “super” delegates, and finally a convention circus. A vote BY THE PEOPLE would be so much simpler! But then the power brokers in the DNC couldn’t control who we are allowed to vote for.
I have no objection to those who support Obama, if that’s who you truly believe in. I strongly object to being TOLD who we MUST support. If you like Obama, make sure it’s YOUR decision, not Howard Dean’s (and his buddies in the Star Chamber).
Posted by: Rhys | June 7, 2008, 8:38 pm 8:38 pm
USMarine, many of us DO reject Obama, but the fact is that the Democratic National Committee has forced him upon us, and we are left with only a choice between Obama and McCain.
Hillary Clinton represented SOME degree of moderation, but that’s not what America wants anymore.
Our country will be in for a rough ride for the next four years, simply because the Republicans didn’t see this one coming and fielded a weak candidate, who would be otherwise unelectable.
If the Huckabee machine hadn’t deliberately derailed Mitt Romney, Obama would NOT be a shoe-in. And now the Libertarians are planning to do to the GOP what Ralph Nader did to the Democrats a few years ago. Bob Barr will sabotage any chance of keeping Obama out of the White House.
Posted by: Rhys | June 7, 2008, 8:56 pm 8:56 pm
For years, Democrats could not win white house not because their strength is not acknowledged by the publice (economy, health care, etc), but because their weakness can not be addressed (national security, too liberal stances) by their candidates. Gore, Kerry, McGovern have been too good examples. They were clearly smarter and better than their repub rivals, had good credentials, yet, eventually, their failed to deliever because they could not effectively address those weakness.
This time, once again, the democratic party selected (not elected) a man who has been the least able to address those problems — the most liberal senator, the least experienced, and with the poorest understanding of the foreign policy issues (the recent AIPAC speech is yet another example). Not only will Obama fail to improve democrats’ chance to win over people Kerry and Gore failed to capture, he is also a man with the kind of problems (Wright, Ayres, Black Liberation Theology, Rezko) to which those people are very sensitive. Without his dark skin, Obama is in effect reduced to the least credible candidate in history.
It should have been a year when Demo can easily win, now the race is going to be very close. Democratic party once again ignored its problems, and Obama brings in his own problems — My prediction: McCain will win.

Carolyn, you nailed it, but it has already been established that ANY criticism of Obama will label you as a racist. This was part of the plan all along, but I don’t think it was Obama’s decision.
When he started, he tried to be “everyman’s” candidate, and I honestly think he tried to keep race OUT of it… at first.
But then the power brokers realized that by playing the race card… often… it worked! They have placed Obama on an Ebony Pedestal and condemn anyone who DARES to criticize him, even if the criticism has NOTHING to do with race.

carolyn… I like most of the Libertarian platform, but as usual they’ve been unable to come up with a viable candidate. Bob Barr is a former representative from Georgia and is 59 years old. He may be a good person, but even with a fairly well-recognized name (like Ross Perot), the Libertarians have only been able to disrupt an election, not get their candidate elected.
As for your comment about Obama being a racist… of COURSE he is, but he tried to keep it off the front page when he first stepped into the spotlight.
I graduated from high school in 1956, back in the days when white people were the worst racists. Now the shoe is on the other foot.
The worst thing about this election is that the PEOPLE didn’t get to make a choice of who we’re allowed to vote for. The party power brokers made all those decisions, and used whatever means necessary to get their preferred candidates nominated. As a result, we now have an “Obamanation”.
The Republicans, figuring they’d lose to Hillary Clinton, didn’t even TRY to put up a strong contender, although Mitt Romney was close to it. However, Huckabee and his theocratic buddies made SURE Romney got eliminated early on, clearing the way for Old Man McCain.
Some accuse McCain of being another Bush, but I disagree. I can’t tell where McCain stands on ANY issue of importance; it changes from week to week. People used to accuse Bill Clinton of “waffling” on issues, but McCain is the champion in this category.
Hillary Clinton was our best hope, but the DNC never intended that she would be the nominee, and with the help of the news media, they attacked her on a daily basis.
So here we are… between a rock and a hard place.

Those of us who supported Hillary Clinton did so because we agreed with her ideas (and never questioned her patriotism). Yet, you (and most Obama supporters) are suggesting that we can change our political philosophies as easily as changing a shirt.
It’s not that simple. Barack Hussein Obama and Hillary Rodham Clinton ARE two different people with VERY different ideas for America’s future.

Rhys, Hillary was the favorite from day 1 and the presumptive nominee. That is why so many supers supported her from the get go. The DNC and the country saw Obama take this country by storm. He excited people. People finally had a choice for the democratic nominee. Hillary did nothing for me but of course I would have voted for her. Yes, we the people made a choice. Half of this country voted for Obama and half voted for Hillary. But neither one would get the nomination without the supers. You and many others may think he’s am empty suit and there are just as many who want something different than the Clintons. If Hillary had won the nomination and the white house I can just see her and Bill dusting off things and putting them back in their place. We can’t go back to the past. There are many Obama supporters out there. I just don’t see how you can blame this on the DNC.

Interesting parallels between Ted Kennedy’s run in 1980 and Hillary’s in 2008. Both had high poll numbers and were seduced into a run, but as soon as they got in and it seemed within reach, the media attacked them bitterly on a daily basis. The Dem Party leadership was working overtime behind the scenes to do whatever it might to tip things to Obama. Against the dual obstacles of a fawning media and a Dem Party leadership that was in the bag, I’m actually amazed Hillary got 17.5 million votes and hung in to the end. I would argue that the mainstream media is an extension of the Dem Party leadership anyway and Hillary was in the way. I hope this guy with a severe lack of experience is now up to the herculean task of fixing America. To be successful he will have to rise to levels he has not shown himself capable of yet. Hillary’s farewell seems so similar to Gore’s goodbye in December 2000. Neither would be a good homecoming king or queen but man, they knew their stuff and were right on the issues!

John McCain made a play to the GOP’s right wing last month, vowing to appoint conservative judges like Chief Justice John Roberts Jr. and Justice Samuel Alito and blasting Democratic rivals Barack Obama and Hillary Clinton for voting against them.
In a speech his campaign billed as a major address on the judiciary, McCain delivered a harsh critique of “judicial activists” who over step their Constitutional bounds. He also lambasted Democrats for blocking GOP nominees to the bench by turning the confirmation process into a “gauntlet of abuse.”
McCain said the difference between the parties on the courts is a defining issue for the November election. Experts expect as many as two to four vacancies on the Supreme Court, and who fills them could shift the court to the right or left for a generation.
“A defining issue for the November election” indeed…

At a recent meeting with the Wall Street Journal editorial board, Republican presidential candidate John McCain admitted he “doesn’t really understand economics” and then pointed to his adviser and former Senate colleague, Phil Gramm – whom he had brought with him to the meeting – as the expert he turns to on the subject

MY FRIENDS I’M NOT SMART, BUT TRUST ME ON THIS, SAY McCAIN
McCain and Gramm are two long-time colleagues, and Gramm shores up a political weak-spot that McCain readily acknowledges exists. In recent campaign stops the Arizona Republican touted his desire for a new round of tax cuts, as well as encouraging investment and economic stimulus by ending the alternative-minimum tax. But he also admitted that, “the issue of economics is not something I’ve understood as well as I should.” Adding, “I’ve got [former Fed Chairman Alan] Greenspan’s book.”

Obama cannot and will not win. America is not going to elect a politician with virtually no experience who has spent the last twenty years befriending felons and freaks (Rezko, Wright, Pfleger, Ayers…). How does someone with such a short history in public life accumulate such a load of killer baggage? Either Obama simply doesn’t mind the racist, unpatriotic vitriol that is the foundation of Black Liberation Theology or he believes it. Which one is it? And don’t tell me he didn’t know about it. Yeah right! Just like Rezko suddenly became someone other than the Tony Rezko he knew only after he was convicted. Obama is a fraud.

who was the ugly duckling and STAYED

WestCoast, I may have voted for Hillary in our primary but got turned off by her. She felt this nominatiion was her entitlement. She was so smug about it. I didn’t like that at all. Did you see her interview with Katie Couric last year. She said she knew that she would be the nominee, and it never crossed her mind that she wouldn’t be. So she just tiptoed through this campaign with that false hope. She didn’t think she had to work for the nomination. And she got burned in the end because of here arrogance. I don’t think she has our best interest at heart. I honestly think it’s all about her and Bill and their legacy.

ORLANDO –
John McCain, who will venture into the Everglades for the first time as a presidential candidate Friday, on Thursday defended his opposition last year to spending $2 billion on restoring the park.
”I am committed to saving the Everglades,” he told a gathering of newspaper editors at Walt Disney World. But he added: “I will not vote for out-of-control spending.”
He said he would support a ”stand-alone” bill to restore the River of Grass. The earlier measure was part of a broader, $23 billion Water Resources Development Act that he found unpalatable.
Welcome to the Double Speak Express.

I am NOT from Florida and I, too, will never forget how the DNC stood up to you and for you. If you and yours are so smart, why don’t you and yours elect people to govern Florida that won’t put you at the mercy of repubs? What a mess the decisions of Floridians have caused for themselves.
I’ll bet you thought that by electing republicans on the state level and democrats on the national level, you were achieving a balance of power, right? Wrong!
Stop blaming the DNC and everyone else for the choices made by your own elected officials.

The best candidate won, by all counts, the democratic primary.
More states, more votes, more pledged delegates, more super delegtes = NOMINEE. It’s not that hard to grasp.
Now Obama will beat McCain in the general election.
McCain graduated in the BOTTOM 1% of his class. Americans do not need another moron GOP “yes man” in office.
McSame admits he does not understand economics. Just what we need now?
And his “experience” in foreign affairs? Let McSame’s own words tell you about the Iraq war:
“There’s not a history of clashes that are violent between Sunnis and Shiahs. So I think they can probably get along.” [MSNBC, 4/23/03]
“It’s clear that the end is very much in sight.” [ABC, 4/9/03]
“We’re not going to get into house-to-house fighting in Baghdad.”[CNN, 9/29/02]
“But I believe, Katie, that the Iraqi people will greet us as liberators.” [NBC, 3/20/03
"But the point is that, one, we will win this conflict. We will win it easily." [MSNBC, 1/22/03]
BEING OLD IS NOT THE SAME AS BEING WISE.

it does no matter that sen clinton wants us to unite with obama and his supporters.
the reasons i didn’t vote for obama the first time still ring true
sen clinton is a professional politician just like obama and the are members of the same party. she has to say that.
but sen clinton will now have to suffer the dems losing in nov. just like the rest of the dem party.
obama is underqualified to be potus,
he has a very short politcal resume’
most americans don’t know him, and what they do know only brings more questions.
obama has not been around on the national scene trying to help this country.-he has not earned the right nor should he be potus. therefore he will not win.
the dem. with the msm and the superdel.
helped put him up for the dem. nominee.
but the whole country will right this wrong in nov.

The DNC did not care that Obama was receiving funds from Middle East terror groups. His campaign had a Ways and Means Committee to tranfer funds from them to legal looking American citizens. He has far too many close associates, friends and supporters from anti-American factions, it makes one’s question everything he says and does. He certainly is not a true-blue American with America his most important entity to serve. It will all change after he is elected and then America will know a traitor at heart. The MSM has not vetted this man, his life and associates. He has bought eveyone off with big money and lies. This is my opinion and I believe it to be true.

The claims that ‘More states, more votes, more pledged delegates, more super delegates’ is absurd.
Is Alaska equivalent to New York, California? It makes no sense to point out most states unless you are determined to lie with statistics. Obama indeed received less votes; much less votes than Hillary. The calculation was rigged up by proportionality rule and caucus results. From Washington primaries, and caucus, we know that his winning margin was blown up by more than six times. From Texas primary and caucus, we can tell that his winnings were at fault altogether because his four points loss in primary was changed to 12 points win in caucus.
The superdelegates were supposed to detect the activists’ fraud in rigging up election results and select the better candidate for the party; however, DNC was determined to help BO get his nominee in deceit and conceit of a grand scale.
If you want to know the fact, the number of pledged delegates that BO received was 1763 versus 1640 which is represented by 123 pledged delegates. In Washington alone, Obama received 36 more pledged delegates than Hillary. In fact he should not get more than 6 delegates than Hillary. In Texas, BO received 9 more delegates in caucus in his loss in primary. In Washington and Texas, BO stole by about 40 delegates. In all his big win in caucuses, he stole by more.
At the end of election, with DNC and the party pundits, he was shown to have actual landslide losses one after another in primaries. In electorate votes and actual votes, BO losses by a significant margin. This tells us how undemocratic the Democratic Party has grown to be.
Say No to the Party and deliver them a landslide loss in November. They deserve real beating and humiliation for the mockery of DEMOCRACY. Then real democracy can follow.
McCain 08; Nobama ever and ever after for the insidious fraud.

She can not be trusted because of the way she ran a negative campaign. Trust me, she is up to something evil!
