Jesse Ventura To Run for Senate?
In an interview with NPR’s David Welna that ran today former Gov. Jesse "The Body" Ventura, Ind-Minn., sounds like he may run for Senate, challenging incumbent Sen. Norm Coleman, R-Minn., whom Ventura defeated for governor in 1998, as well as Democratic nominee and former Saturday Night Live humorist Al Franken.
Ventura, born Jim Janos, tells Welna that the main reason he would run is because of Coleman’s support for the war in Iraq. "That’s the reason I run," he says. "I run because it angers me…All you Minnesotans take a good hard look at all three of us. And you decide: if you were in a dark alley which one of the three of us would you want with you?
Ventura had a stormy tenure as governor and horrible relations with the Minnesota press corps. Thus, it was the June issue of a local wine magazine where he chose to drop hints about his pending campaign.
"I’m not a politician, I’m a statesman," he told The Midwest Wine Connection. "I do one term, and then I go back to the private sector. If I get back into the fray again this year, it’s only because I’ve been gone five years back to the private sector. That’s what I did when I was mayor. That’s a statesman. That’s not a career politician."
Ventura said of Coleman, "the guy has not had a job in the private sector his entire adult life. He’s been collecting government checks since the day he got out of law school and went to work for the attorney general’s office. So when Norm Coleman tells people in the private sector he feels their pain, how? He’s never been in it. At least Al Franken knows what the private sector is. I would like to send him out and get a real job in the private sector."
Ventura called Franken an opportunist and a carpetbagger. "He hasn’t lived here in 30 years, and he’s only coming back to Minnesota for the convenience of his own political agenda. Why didn’t he run in the states he was living in? Clearly, for being a Harvard graduate, he’s not too smart on taxes, is he? Everybody laughs, saying I came from wrestling. But at least I knew when I wrestled in 40 states, I had to pay taxes in those 40 states. You just have to do the paperwork. I find it unbelievable that someone who could go to Harvard didn’t know that or let it slip. Blaming his accountant is worse, because now he’s turning into a politician. He’s not accepting responsibility for his actions."
A recent state poll has Coleman leading with 52 percent of the vote and Franken with 40 percent.
A hypothetical race with Ventura shows Coleman with 41 percent, Franken with 31 percent and Ventura with 23 percent.
Of course, as this priced-to-move 1999 biography of Ventura recalls those poll numbers are far better than Ventura’s numbers in his 1998 gubernatorial run. In June 1998, Ventura only had 7% support. In November, he won with 37% of the vote.

UPDATE: Ultimately those Ventura observers — who argued that the former governor’s occasionally confusing syntax should be taken into account when reporting his seemingly definitive declaration "that’s the reason I run" — are correct.
Ventura told The Associated Press he had been speaking hypothetically to NPR, that in responding to Welna’s question about why he would run, "I gave him the reasons why I would run. But I said ultimately, it will come down to whether I want to change my lifestyle and go to that lifestyle or not." Reports the AP: "Ventura says bluntly that no one knows whether he will run — not even his wife. He says the decision won’t be made until next Tuesday, the filing deadline."
This blog post has been updated to reflect Ventura’s carification.

Everyone who runs for office has a lot of money… Except for maybe someone like Carolyn McCarthy from LonG island who was just a regular mom who ran on an anti gun platform, most politicians have a lot of money.. its not just the famous ones.

Jesse is the biggest moron to be in the national political light ever. He single handedly ruined the State of Minnesota’s tax system and state budget. It took Pawlenty 6 years to clean up his mess, AND we have a useless light rail system thanks to him that takes 20 minutes to just get to you. Then, you go about as fast as a 90 year old can walk to your destination.
He is a spoiled child that never grew up. He was never a Navy Seal. He was a PRO WRESTLER for God’s sake! He has GOT TO GO AWAY…FOREVER!!!
His wife is nice, though.

It blows me away that the Star Tribune has yet to put anything about this on their site. That rag is so worthless. Anyway, Jesse Ventura has no business running for the Senate. He left his own party(MN Independence) to wither away when he stepped away from being Governor. He is a thug as far as politics are concerned. His only legacy is for appointing some pretty good judges. All he cares about is his ego!

Ventura did not say he was running at all.
If you know anything about Jesse syntax you would know that he leaves off prepositions when he speaks. The uninitiated could misconstrue what he said. WHen he said “I run…” what he intends to say is “If I run…”
If Ventura does run he won’t make the announcement until the last day for filing and it won’t be made to NPR.

Jesse was an embarrassment to this state before and he will be again if he wins the seat. I will give him credit for one thing — he is the absolute master of the sound bite. However, he is very shallow, thin skinned, and his proposals are more of the same for this state — tax and spend, with little thought to the taxpayer. We are still saddled with the consequences of his last term – mainly the high cost of LRT (light rail transit), which makes no economic sense (the buses do make sense in this area because of the disparate metro area). In addition, he is now an opportunist politician who has lost his populist roots. The saddest thing of all is that (just like the presidential election) all of the choices are bad. Flip a coin, since the voting public will get the worst outcome either way.
Posted by: MNVoter | July 9, 2008, 10:30 am 10:30 am
I’ll try to answer some of the Minnesota questions. First, there’s nothing wrong with electing someone with personality. Wellstone, Coleman, and Ventura were all competent, even if they make you squirm. Franken would be the same. Ventura actually had the best budget plan of the three parties in 2001; his problem was that he didn’t work hard for it in the legislature and we ended up with a mess.
Same-day voting registration makes a big difference, because it lets more people get involved more quickly and turnout goes up.
Finally, Minnesota has some of the highest-quality government in the nation. Other states are always looking to us in health care, education, social services, and clean government.

I really don’t understand what the thinking is in Minnesota. Both Ventura and Franken are nutty, so how can Minnesotians even allow that to happen. Have they gone so anti-Bush, far left liberal, that they have no sense. I was shocked when they elected Ventura governor in the first place…then the democrats end up with Franken on the ticket. Who is controlling the information to these voters? I have to assume there is some very far left liberal media that makes the voters decisions for them. I can understand the youth being influenced by the media and Obama’s rockstar magic, but the older voters shouldn’t be this naive and should be able to see through the hoopla?

People shouldn’t disparage someone for running, even though they think the candidate is not qualified for office. [For instance, I don't usually choose who will get my vote for a spot in the U.S. Senate based on whom I'd want with me in a dark alley, as Ventura advises, so he wouldn't get my vote if those are his platform credentials.]
In a country where more than 90% of our national congressional representatives are reelected based mostly on their incumbency alone, and some U.S. Senate seats are sought by no one but the incumbent (considering that each state only gets two spots, it’s amazing from a “small ‘d’” democratic standpoint that such a scenario ever occurs), we should be happy that even some people whom we personally consider to be less-qualified candidates want to put in the effort to get their name on the ballot and campaign for office. It doesn’t mean anyone has to vote for them, but it at least shows some engagement with the democratic process.
Whatever your politics, you have to give Ventura credit for trying to change things through his own person initiative instead of just complaining and passing off cheap and easy cynicism as if it were deeply insightful, as most pundits and lay commentators do.
Posted by: Joshua | July 9, 2008, 10:52 am 10:52 am
So Jesse wants us to ask ourselves of the three people in the race who do you want to walk with you down a dark ally? Okay. Now he is going to run a “Get out of Iraq” campaign right? So let me understand this governor – You want me to take you down a dark ally (apparently to protect me) but when the fight starts I can just expect you to leave me hanging. Man you are dumb.

He knows what people are thinking and he’s not afraid to say it, and be damned if we don’t need more people like him in this country.

Single digit approval? Not exactly – just more lies from the liars
Matt Drudge blew the ram’s horn early Tuesday morning: “Congressional Approval Rating Falls to Single Digits for First Time Ever.” Within minutes, the conservative group Freedom’s Watch was blasting the news out to reporters. And by afternoon, Rep. Adam Putnam of Florida — the No. 3 Republican in the House — had welded it into a cudgel with which to beat the Democrats.
The only catch: The news wasn’t exactly the news.
Rasmussen didn’t ask respondents whether they approved or disapproved of Congress; it asked respondents to rank Congress’ job performance as excellent, good, fair or poor.
Just 2 percent rated the performance as excellent, and 7 percent rated it as good.
Add those up, and you get 9 percent.
But 36 percent of Rasmussen’s respondents said they consider Congress’ job performance to be fair. Is that approval or disapproval?
Rasmussen CEO Scott Rasmussen said that’s a fair question but one without a clear answer. His best guess: If you converted the thinking behind the answers into the binary results of most polls — approval or disapproval — then Congress’ approval rating might actually be as high as the mid-20s.

I don’t agree with everything Ventura says or does, but I respect and appreciate that he’s a bit of a rogue and renegade who isn’t going to regurgitate some party’s line. He says and does what he thinks is right. We need more politicians like that – people who care more about doing what’s right than accumulating and holding political power!
At the same time, though, I’m wondering how someone who made their wealth and name as a world famous entertainer who was pampered and catered to can be more in touch with us common people than a lifelong politician who’s “never had a private sector job”?

Ventura disparages public service as a valid career, and then runs for an elected job in — public service. I wonder what Jesse thinks of policemen, since we already know what he thinks of other jobs in the justice system, jobs (attorney) offering far more experience for the office Jesse seeks (lawmaker) than “wrestler/actor” or even “recycled turned out Governor”? Must be the mendacity of hope showing through.
As for Siverticus’ post, thank you for the humor, given that Jesse’s first broadside against Franken is about — failure to pay taxes. He follows that up with the equally high-roaded appellation of “carpetbagging” — which, while an epithet in pro-slavery Southern language, is laudable in anti-slavery Northern language.

Ditto– he has more credentials than Obama!!
he has crederntials out the wazoo! Name another candidate running for the US Senate more qualified: Mr Ventura is a former Governor, Mayor, A decorated Navy Seal, A Kennedy School of Government (Harvard University) graduate, An Author (4 books and counting), An Entertainer; TV Personality, Movie Star, Professional Athlete (Hey, he got paid to wrestle), Businessman and Millionaire. Now add his household name recognition to that list. This is a challenge people who has better credentials by today’s standards?

I have lived in Minnesota long enough to know where this state gets its’ candidates from. Combine Scandinavian Socialism, a burning desire to elect characters that resemble celebrity just for the sake of ‘getting noticed’, and a self belief that Minnesotan’s are better than anyone else (when they are not), and you end up getting a parade of D-list celebrities like Franken and Ventrura combining with East Coast liberal imports like Norm Coleman showing up on my election ballot.
Jesse Ventura talks about Franken being a “carpetbagger” while he spent most of time since leaving the Governor’s office in Mexico. Al Franken talks about fiscal tax responsibility while he fails to pay his own taxes properly. And Norm Coleman claims conservative credentials while having a senate voting record to the left of John McCain and half the Democrats in the Sentate. For this Minnesota resident, they all appear to be big warm team piles of garbage. What a mess…..

All of these people who jump on here and criticize both Jesse Ventura and Al Franken. Not one of you mention a stance either has taken on any of the issues. Also there are no postings praising the work Norm Coleman has done. So if you are satisfied with what Coleman has done the past 6 years, then vote for him again. But I beg that if you are not satisfied with the status quo consider voting for either Franken or a thrid party candidate.
Personally I hope Jesse Ventura doesn’t enter the Senate race, I feel his name on the ballot will ensure another 6 years of Norm Coleman’s continous partisan bickering in Washington.
Franken may have been a Comedian, Ventura may have been a wrestler but both are educated, intelligent, knowledgeable and caring. They are both involved in politics because they care what decisions are being made.

God help us if we end up with Ventura and Obama…and Nancy Pelosi running the House of Rep. She told us two years ago, put a democratic house in office and we will give you a “common sense” solution to the energy crisis—I don’t like her solution. The she said quit filling the strategic reserves and prices will go down—she made the administration stop and prices went up. This is why congress has an 8% approval rating!

McCain, Obama, and Coleman have little or no experience outside the government sector. Jesse isn’t perfect but I would take a guy like him in a heartbeat over these three career political prostitutes. And if any of you believe Obama or McSame are going to withdraw the troops from Iraq, I ask you, are we still in England, Germany, Japan, Korea? And these countries don’t have a hundred years worth of black gold underneath them. So if you oppose the war and want it to end, don’t vote for Obama or McCain. Sad to say and admit, but I think our country has seen its highwater mark.

“Hope” and “Change” are both empty words for politicians with no actual plans for anything except to try and get elected. But, it has been proven that they can work on mindless lemmings.
Ventura would be an asset to your state because he actually has thoughts of his own. And, he is not afraid to speak his own mind, unlike the other candidates that will lie to the lemming crowd to get into office. (By lemming I mean any liberal, socialist, democrat, tree hugger, PETA supporter, Oprah follower, or any other voter that actually believes that spew.)
George Bush has done exactly what he said he would do: lead by example and protect us. He has done exactly that in the face of seriously challenging times. I cannot even begin to imagine the wasteland we would live in today if a spineless appeaser like Al Gore had been in office over the last 8 years. George Bush has kicked butt where others would have sold out to the EU. I am proud of my President and stand with him.

I can’t even stand to hear Jesse talk. The guy has to be the most arrogant person I have ever heard. Every time he speaks I feel like I am being lectured to. Why anybody would want to elect a guy who cannot open his mouth without speaking in that condescending tone is beyond me.
Also, I guess the guy is an independent but what does he actually stand for? I can understand not wanting to be a REP or DEM but does he actually take stands on issues or is he a “moderate”. Higher taxes or lower taxes? More gov spending or less? For or against illegal immigration? Jessie – instead of telling us why you are so smart and everybody else is so dumb why don’t you actually be the first nominee to state clearly your intentions.

As much as I thought Ventura was a joke when I was living in Minnesota, I must admist that I watched him several weeks ago on Larry King and found myself agreeing with many of his views. He makes a lot of sense on many issues.

Unless you live in MN!! Keep your traps shut!! Jesse was a WASTE OF SPACE while he was in office, and he only paved the way for the likes of Coleman and Pawlenty and the Republicans to gain power and influence in MN (see Michelle Bachman for one). People have kept their ‘What would Wellstone do?’ bumper stickers on their cars for a reason. We are hungry for change and a return to a progressive agenda. Jesse is a loser, and MN who vote for him want nothing more for themselves or their state that his brand of crazy!

I would suggest Minnesotans change their license plates to read, “The Screwball State” but it would leave Massachusetts moniker-less. Now all we have to look forward to is the Michael Jackson / Madonna bid for the 2012 Democratic nomination. Then I can leap from a tall building in peace… if there are any left standing by then.

Whatever happened to the great Farmer-Labor democratic party and Hubert Horatio Humphrey? I know Humphrey’s dead, but still. Whatever chance Franken had has been hurt by Ventura’s entry. Now it looks like two clowns and a grown-up, as unfair as that is to Franken.

Jesse Ventura loves to stir the pot and run when the heat gets too high. He has no clue to the real world and some people think he speaks his own mind I know he only states what he hears from the rags and idiot talk shows He believes in nothing and so he knows nothing. What a fool and to be followed by fools.
Posted by: Grumpy Old Man | July 9, 2008, 12:17 pm 12:17 pm
What is Jesse’s signature issue? What does he want to do and why does he want to be a senator? If his answer is “to serve the people” he is instantly a liar. Nobody seeks that political office without wanting something.
First and foremost, all of these guys are running because that want to be a Senator and they want the status and attention of holding that office. Secondly: Franken is running because he hates Bush and thinks all REPs are evil, Jesse is running because everybody is stupid but him, and Coleman is running because of his record I guess or because he wants the REPs to stay in power.
If I am a voter who just wants taxes and gov spending to stay low who am I supposed to vote for?

Life is not one acting role after another, Mr. James George Janos (his real name). You can’t just change your image by telling people to call you “The Mind” or “statesman.” Folks are going to want some statemanlike (or intelligent) behavior from you, first.

The U.S. Senate is NO place for him!”
Yeah, lets reserve serving in Congress for the Craigs and Vitters.
We should be most concerned about being embarrased. Least concerned about invading other countries, trashing the constitution, and taking care of our own citizens. Don’t pity Minnesota unless your area is represented by Russ Feingold. Then you have something on all the rest of us.

Who would you want with you in a dark alley? I wouldn’t go down a dark alley and if Mr. Ventura told me that we should, that would be reason enough not to vote for him. If your employer failed to withhold sufficient FICA from your paycheck, is that your fault or their’s? Granted you have to pay the taxes, but is the failure yours or theirs? Bottom line, he paid what he owed when it was brought to his attention. Al Franken is no joke when it comes to his philosophy, his ethics, his compassion and can do attitude. He doesn’t need to be Senator, he wants to serve, to make a difference, to give Minnesotans an effective voice and presence in the US Senate.

Oh puh-lease….I see Minnesotans here carping about ‘the Body’ running. Are these the same Democrats that elected Keith Ellison???
Ellison, in his professional-prepolitical life, was known as being completely incompetent for the job Minnesotans elected him to.
Most of my ‘center-Democrat’ friends were ashamed that the MN party had shifted so far left that they were going to bring someone forth who was not competent for the job – but elected a minority and a muslim would be a poke at the President (which, of course, was more important than electing someone who was qualified for the job and could do a good job).
Jesse shook things up in Saint Paul as Governor. He caused Republicans and Democrats to come up with bipartison bills to sign because he openly wasn’t on one side or the other….he wanted to do what made common sense. Love him, hate him, embarrassed by him….Jesse had a greater impact on MN politics and getting things done right than virtually any of our other politicians in Minnesota.
With that said….Coleman will still get my vote. But you go get ‘em Jesse and make ‘em accountable!

I heard Jessie Ventura speak his peace a few months ago, and I was completely sold on the man. He has a solid grasp of our nation’s problems and his solutions to these problems are truly in keeping with the Democratic agenda.
As a US Senator, he would be a leader in a Democratic Congress just by shear personality and and in his extensive political background and with his experience in the private sector. Franken would pale next to Jessie, and Coleman would die on the incumbent vine.
Obama’s Presidency would be strengthened with Senators like Jessie Ventura in the US Senate.

He is one of America’s only politicians that calls it as it is. When people in MN were looking for handouts for education, he told them “what do you want from me; go get a job”. If we had more politicians calling it as it is, this Country would be in a hell of a lot better shape. It’s time that people in this Country become responsible for themselves and their families. I feel Jesse is far and above the most qualified candidate.

To those who think only Minnesotans have the right to comment on this race, keep in mind: The U.S. Senate is the most powerful governing body in the country, and despite the fact that a state like California (36 million) has a much larger population than Minnesota (5 million), each is represented by two senators. We all have a stake in who gets elected to the Senate.
Go Al! The check’s in the mail.

I’m a democrat, but it offends me that Ventura doesn’t consider working at the state attorney general’s office after law school to be a “real job.” The attorneys who take these comeptitive positions are committed to public service, take huge pay cuts, and still work long hours in order to act on that commitment. He should rethink his definition of “statesman” if he thinks he’s more of one than someone who embodies these principles.

“The US should give Minnesota to Canada if Franken wins. He is a complete idiot, as is Ventura. What a bunch of showboats…
This is the state that elected Paul Wellstone (another idiot), so don’t be suprised if they elect a comedian for the US Senate.”
Wow… have some respect for the deceased… Senator Wellstone was probably one of the best that Minnesota has had in the past century. And basically the only person you didn’t call an idiot is Coleman? The two Republicans that inhabit Minnesotan politics like a bad cold, Coleman and Pawlenty have only benefited the businesses they support and have no way helped the people. We Minnesotans have begun to realize this, electing Amy Klobuchar by a huge majority in ’06.
And Light Rail is good for MN; those who say otherwise are not considering the facts. The efficient mass transit solution has led many, many people to switch to it in this time of high transportation costs and the speed at which it travels is fine. I’m sorry it doesn’t go as fast as you want, but some of us residents don’t want a bullet train going through downtown Minneapolis.

This is why I moved from the Peoples Republic of Minnesota! Minnesota politics is truly a sad, sick circus show!

I’ve often said that in Minnesota, politics is a spectator sport. This proves it.

“”Yeah, Mr. Ventura but, are you offering any Hope or Change?”
Minnesota needs a lot of Change before there can be any Hope. They have become the Kalifornia of the North. Could it be the winters?
At least Ventura isn’t as ugly as Frankenfish and does dress better.

Looks like an inevitable clear split in the Democratic Party vote, so that Norm Coleman will win easy re-election.
Makes you wonder about Jesse’s true motivations.

Minnesotans,
Do yourselves a favor. Get Coleman out of office.

The press drooled all over your state and Ventura when he first became a political novelty. Eventually even they realized what an idiot he was and he basically made your state a laughing stock. That Wellstone funeral was a real embarassment too. I look forward to the entertainment your state provides.

Two complete morons running for the same seat?

Whatever happened to what JFK said?
“Ask not what your country can do for you, but ask what you can do for your country”.
Forget the handouts, everybody has to be responsible for themselves and their families. That was the position Ventura took as Governor and the country needs more politicians to take similar positions. I think he’s the best man for the position.

If Jessie the Body runs solely on his opposition to the war then he will get
“smackdown”…every day it becomes clearer that this war was just & necessary. It will be viewed someday as a successful part of the larger war against those who want to terrorize, threaten & taunt the rest of the civilized world. Every one of our 4000 soldiers who died are heroes and those of you who are going crazy with rage at my assertions, just know that a conflict with Iran is just around the corner. Sorry folks, and apologies to John Lennon & the Imagine crowd, but it’s the age we live in…

All this just makes me wish for a slot on all ballots labled NONE OF THE ABOVE. If this got the most votes none of the ones on the ballot could run for the office again (EVER)!!! The parties would then have two weeks to choose a new nominee and then have only two weeks for campaigning before another election is held. No hidden small print exceptions or anything just a clear choice ballot.

“I’ve often said that in Minnesota, politics is a spectator sport. This proves it.”
–Actually, Minnesota has some of the strongest participatory democracy in the country. You can laugh at our politicians, but our policies on health care and education are the envy of the nation. We produce smart, healthy, happy people, and our politics are clean. With success like that, we’ve got time for entertainment in our politics!

Ventura remained a true conservative throughout his tenure. He also is well known for promoting and acting with transparency in government, the likes that the state had never seen before him.
I question the comments on this site because 90% seem slanted against Mr. Ventura in an arrogant manner. Is this propaganda?

Al Franken should not be allowed to run!!! He tried cheating the very country that made him a millionaire!!

Run Jesse Run! It would be great!
Posted by: Mark | July 9, 2008, 5:40 pm 5:40 pm
Unlike most politicians, Jesse tells it how he see’s it with no BS. I didn’t always agree with him (and did not vote for him), but I respected him for speaking his mind and providing a “3rd way” outside the 2 party system to get things done.

Typical Jesse. Say one stupid thing. Backtrack. Say some more stupid things. Do everything possible to attract as much attention as possible.
I lived in Minnesota during the Jesse as Governor years. It was nothing short of a debacle.
If Minnesotans elect him to the Senate, they deserve to be the laughing-stock of the nation – which they WILL be.

Look Jessie, all you are doing is going to make it easier for Coleman to win.
I understand that you have a mission to make the third party stick.
but you used, abused, and hurt the Minnesotants enough with that cause, go somewhere else and try it out.
For its was because of you I jumped the fraken train!

Ventura is terrific. We loved him as Governor of MN, and will vote him in as Senator. The other two parties are scared of him, and will gang up on him. Ventura wants the challenge and will kick butt. Coleman….are you ready for another whipping? Franken…..you can watch. Then run.
Posted by: Kent Fitzsimmons | July 10, 2008, 3:10 pm 3:10 pm
Listen……..all it will take is a debate between the three. Ventura will beat up on Coleman for being out of touch with the private sector and regular folks. And Franken will try to tell a joke. Ventura will attack Franken on paying taxes and it is all over. Senator Jesse Ventura……sounds good…very good.
Posted by: Kent Fitzsimmons | July 10, 2008, 3:15 pm 3:15 pm
Jesse………run for Senate. We all can see you want to. You know you will win. You will bring in many new voters that want you to help MN. We believe in you………..
Posted by: Kent Fitzsimmons | July 10, 2008, 3:21 pm 3:21 pm
Speak for yourself, Kent.
“We” did NOT love Ventura as governor of Minnesota. He was an ignorant, loud-mouthed attention hound. Nothing more.
And nothing has changed.

Go get em Jessie. We need to get the money sucking humps out of office. It is time people who have struggled at some point in their lives get back in power. We are currently controlled and manipulated by wealthy elite who play two sides of the coin and are in it together to gain as much uneeded wealth as they can. It is time to put the business community under tight control again and give the country back to the people who have worked for the benifits the elite are now taking away from us. The elite live under a socialized shell while the poeple live with no benefits at all and bail the incompitent for their mass incompitence. It is time we took our country back and put people with ambition back in charge of things. It is time to get the ” I got mine” crowd out of power and get some people who care about all the people back in power. The few have enough, and the people who do the work are being starved out. It cmes down to how many steaks can one eat – how many homes does one need. Well most americans will never own a home, while the wealthy have one in every state. Dont let them get you down Jessie. As long as they are attacking you they are in fear of you, so just take the heat as a sign of a job well done buddy. go get em.
