Lieberman Dismisses GOP Veep Speculation

ABC News’ Ron Claiborne Reports: Senator Joseph Lieberman, I-Conn., says he has no interest in being Sen. John McCain’s running mate, preferring to remain in the Senate seat he’s held for the past 20 years.

"As regards the vice presidency, I really have been there and done that," Lieberman told ABC News in an interview airing on Saturday’s World News. "I am not a candidate. I am not interested in doing it. I hope John is elected president. I’m going to work hard to do that happens and I think the best thing I can do the help him be the great president I think he’s capable of being is to be Democratic senator working across party lines to get things done."

WATCH MORE OF RON CLAIBORNE’S INTERVIEW WITH SEN. LIEBERMAN ON WORLD NEWS SATURDAY.

Lieberman was re-elected in 2006 as an Independent to his fourth term after failing to win the Democratic nomination. He caucuses with the Democrats, helping give them a razor thin 51-49 majority in the Senate.

Last December, he endorsed McCain for president and has often campaigned with him. He was Al Gore’s running mate in 2000.

Because of his early support for and close friendship with McCain, he has been mentioned as a long-shot to be the Republican’s pick for the No. 2 spot.

When asked what he would say if McCain asked him to join him on the GOP ticket, Lieberman said,"Well, it’s not going to happen. But I’d tell him, ‘You honor me by this request to your friend but you can do a lot better, so thank you.’"

Too bad….If Lieberman was chosen as McCain’s VP nominee it would give me 101 reasons not to vote for McCain….Now, I only have 100.

McCain/Lieberman is the dream ticket for the GOP – it’s the ONLY ticket that can beat Obama. The GOP should look seriously at this pairing.

Lieberman is correct – McCain can do much better. And Gore could have chosen better too. Live and learn….

Nothing says “change” more than a ticket with both a democrat and a republican; that said, Lieberman and McCain hardly represent their parties anyway.

Doesn’t gall you when that man calls himself a democratic senator? It’s down right insulting.

I find it sad to see Obama running for the highest office in the US because if elected we have really lowered the bar.
Imagine a young John McCain in his twenty’s serving our nation in uniform. Getting shot down and being brutally tortured by the North Vietnamese for over 5 years. On the other hand envision a young spoiled Obama in his twenty’s doing cocaine & drugs. Obama is a very selfish man that lacks character and a moral compass. How utterly tragic it is that we have so many naive and foolish people that can’t see the empty suited Obama.
I don’t think Obama has the correct judgment to be our leader. I don’t think a boy raised without a father knows how to be a man. I believe Obama is flawed in many many ways. I’m sure as a youngster he was brainwashed in the liberal mindset. Obama sat in that church for 20 years listening to Rev Wright put down white people and our country. I think Obama is ashamed of being an American.
Clearly a boy is trying to compete with a man. I guess Obama getting this far makes him laugh and hate this country even more. Maybe Obama is right we Americans are an embarrassment to the world.

Why does Lieberman matter? because he holds the democratic majority together? He’s more guilty than anyone else of the mess in Iraq. Go lobby for israel’s security – american interests are second in line.

Liberman already backdoored the electoral process to retain his seat in the Senate once the Connecticut democrats kicked him to the curb when he wasn’t even able to get the nomination as a incumbent from his own party. As far as I am concerned the republicans can have him. Joe Must Go.

Some of these comments are really funny when you think about them. Especially about Obama being flawed because of no father in his life. Really, how do you know how much time Admiral McCain actually spent raising young John. Or the person who asserts that Obama has no moral compass. At least Obama has been a consistent churchgoer over the years. McCain really has very little moral compass if church attendance or lack of church attendfance is any indication. It is really humorous that so many people think and write about moral compass without really looking at the growing-up time and background of the two candidates.

Lieberman is a gentle, honorable man. He’d make a fine VP. This country has lost it’s taste for honorable leaders and statesmen. Instead we want the candidate who serves our niche interests best. What a pity.

Too bad Lieberman won’t run as McCain’s VP. If he did, he could be one of the few people, if not the only person, to lose TWO elections as the VP nominee.

This just in—
Strong rumor that Robert Mugabe and Hugo Chavez are the two front runners for Obama VP. Rumor also has it that Obama wants ‘job sharing’ for the VP slot, and wants them BOTH to run with him on the Birds-of-a-Feather ticket.
His only concern is that the two men might be a little too conservative for his political base and he is going through an all-out search for a Lennin descendent with Lennin political and moral values.
When asked about the fact that none of the above is an American born citizen, Obama replied that “It is time that the US become a global citizen and get beyond the archaic idea that the president must be a US born citizen.”

Kramer: You should try harder not to let your racist feelings show through. Your assertion that because he didn’t grow up with a father means he cannot be president is ridiculous. Plenty of people have grown up without fathers and you calling them “unmanly” is insulting. Secondly, Barack got into Harvard for law school. He went to Columbia for his undergrad. I went to Columbia and then BC and I can tell you that a lot of people get into Harvard for grad/law school after being at Columbia…black and white.
GXB: You should spell Lenin’s name right.
I’m fine with Joe Lieberman running for VP, it will very greatly hamper McCain’s chances of winning over the religious right.

Too bad–now I won’t get a chance to vote against him in November, and only the folks in CT will get that pleasure should he try to fool his constituency once again.
Dems won’t need him to caucus after November, and I don’t think there will be a McCain administration to appoint him as Secretary of Remembering How To Tell Shite From Sunni From Al Qaida Or Whatever Instead Of Killing Them All And Letting God Sort Them Out or whatever.
Bye Joe.

Posted by: ToastOnDayOne | July 11, 2008, 6:28 pm 6:28 pm

Why not his pal Ahmadinejad for Secretary of State? Of course, that assumes he will be elected, but I believe his bubble will burst long before November. Have never seen such a callow, inexperienced, pompous arrogant person such as Obama pretend to be President, with a thinner resume than Bush II. It won’t wash in November!

Posted by: KC | July 11, 2008, 6:28 pm 6:28 pm

Check out “Vietnam veterans against Mccain” or “Missing, Presumed Dead” McCain collaborated with the VC and men died. McCain AND Kerry didn’t allow a continuance of the POW commission, and rushed to normalize relations with Vietnam, without a full accounting of POWS alive or dead in Vietnam. It is entirely possible that these actions resulted in American POWS that were then and could still now be in Southeast Asia as slave labor. Which are being sighted and reported even to this day. McCain is NO hero, he is a traitor who sold out his fellow men into slavery and forgot about them and left they and there familes to suffer permanetly. He is the scum of the Earth and is unqualified to be dog catcher, let alone commander in cheif. Look for yourself. The info is there. Don’t let yourself blindly suppport anybody without looking at both sides of their character. Remember giving Bush the benefit of the doubt… TWICE!!!!

I guess the white in Obama made him do cocaine and drugs in his twenty’s.
You people and your fixation on race proves another reason Obama should not be elected president – there is just too much white guilt happening this election cycle.

Lieberman was the best thing the Dem party had going for them. He was a reasonable man who made his decisions from common sense and hard data, not rank ugly partisan politics like the rest of the Dem Sheep politicians. So of course, the Dem party threw him out (or did their best to do so).
They screwed up badly, and Joe beat them hands down. Now he is an independent and the better man for it, but the dummy dems need his votes and have to suck up even today.
Way to go dems.

Well duh!!! With Joe Liebermann as Vice President, we wouldn’t have needed 9/11 as an excuse; we would have still gone to war with Iraq. With the Israeli lobby bent on vanquishing every Arab/Islamic country in the Middle East and ensuring that Israel emerges as the super power of the Middle East, Joe Losermann would have found another excuse to attack Iraq and get America fight Israeli wars by proxy. Wake up people.

In just the last four days, McCain called the most important entitlement program in the U.S. an “absolute disgrace,” his top economic adviser described the American people as whiners, McCain released an economic plan that no one thought was serious, he flip flopped on Iraq, joked about the deaths of Iranian citizens, and denied making comments that he clearly made—TWICE.
The L.A. Times front-pages, ‘McCain’s broken marriage and fractured Reagan friendship: The nature and timing of his divorce from Carol Shepp alienated key friends — and his version doesn’t always match that in court documents.
Yesterday Sen. John McCain ventured to an auto-parts supplier in this hard-hit Detroit suburb to express sympathy for those affected by Michigan’s economic malaise and to talk up his ideas for creating jobs in the region. But a day after a top McCain economic adviser dismissed the nation’s struggles as a ‘mental recession,’ the presumptive Republican presidential nominee’s message landed with a thud, as workers sat in stony silence.

Last time I looked, the candidate who gets the most votes (from members of all parties) wins the election. Just because the politically-active Dems turned him out for a moron in the primary in 06, doesn’t mean that the majority of the electorate, who was very happy with Joe, had to go along. also, in four more years if the majority of folks decide to turn him out, then that’s the way it works, too.

Kick that traitor Lieberman out of the Senate and the country before him and his traitorous, subversive Zionist lobbying groups like JINSA and AIPAC take our once great country down. We all know where his allegiances lie. These Zionists need to leave the country before they ruin it. Go fight your own wars.
“A nation can survive its fools and even the ambitious. But it cannot survive treason from within. An enemy at the gate is less formidable, for he is known and carries his banners openly against the city. But the traitor moves among those within the gates freely, his sly whispers rustling through all the alleys, heard in the very halls of government itself. For the traitor appears not a traitor; he speaks in the accents familiar to his victims, and he wears their face and their garments, and he appeals to the baseness that lies deep in the hearts of all men. He rots the soul of a nation; he works secretly and unknown in the night to undermine the pillars of a city; he infects the body politic so that it can no longer resist. A murderer is less to be feared.”

It isn’t like he didn’t help his kin Odinga take over Kenya by having “Friends of Obama” donate almost $1 million to and personally campaigned for Odinga who ran a campaign of “CHANGE” too. Odinga, is muslim who pushed for Sharia laws and is currently having his goons rape, murder, and burning down BLACK CHRISTIAN CHURCHS WITH PEOPLE STILL IN THEM. JERUSALEM – Was Sen. Barack Obama a Muslim? Did he ever practice Islam?
The presidential candidate officially rejects the claims, but the issue of Obama’s personal faith has re-emerged amid conflicting accounts of his enrollment as a Muslim during elementary school in Indonesia, the world’s most populous Muslim nation.
Widely distributed reports have noted in January 1968, Obama was registered as a Muslim at Jakarta’s Roman Catholic Franciscus Assisi Primary School under the name Barry Soetoro. He was listed as an Indonesian citizen whose stepfather, listed on school documents as “L Soetoro Ma,” worked for the topography department of the Indonesian Army.
Catholic schools in Indonesia routinely accept non-Catholic students, but exempt them from studying religion. Obama’s school documents, though, wrongly list him as being Indonesian.
After attending the Assisi Primary School, Obama was enrolled – also as a Muslim, according to documents – in the Besuki Primary School, a public school in Jakarta.

The Loatze blog run by an American expatriate in Southeast Asia who visited the Besuki school, noted, “All Indonesian students are required to study religion at school and a young ‘Barry Soetoro’ being a Muslim would have been required to study Islam daily in school. He would have been taught to read and write Arabic, to recite his prayers properly, to read and recite from the Quran and to study the laws of Islam.”
Indeed, the Israel Insider online magazine points out in Obama’s autobiography, “Dreams From My Father,” he acknowledges studying the Quran and describes the public school as “a Muslim school.”
“In the Muslim school, the teacher wrote to tell mother I made faces during Quranic studies,” wrote Obama.
The Indonesian media have been flooded with accounts of Obama’s childhood Islamic studies, some describing him as a religious Muslim .
Speaking to the country’s Kaltim Post, Tine Hahiyary, who was principal of Obama’s school while he was enrolled there, said she recalls he studied the Quran in Arabic.
“At that time, I was not Barry’s teacher but he is still in my memory” claimed Tine, who is 80 years old. The Kaltim Post says Obama’s teacher, named Hendri, died.
“I remember that he studied ‘mengaji (recitation of the Quran),” Tine said, according to an English translation by Loatze.
Mengaji, or the act of reading the Quran with its correct Arabic punctuation, is usually taught to more religious pupils and is not known as a secular study.
Also, Loatze documented the Indonesian daily Banjarmasin Post caught up with Rony Amir, an Obama classmate and Muslim, who describe Obama as “previously quite religious in Islam.”
“We previously often asked him to the prayer room close to the house. If he was wearing a sarong (waist fabric worn for religious or casual occasions) he looked funny,” Amir said.
The Los Angeles Times, which sent a reporter to Jakarta, quoted Zulfin Adi, who identified himself as among Obama’s closest childhood friends, stating the presidential candidate prayed in a mosque, something Obama’s campaign claimed he never did.
“We prayed but not really seriously, just following actions done by older people in the mosque. But as kids, we loved to meet our friends and went to the mosque together and played,” said Adi.
Obama’s official campaign site has a page titled “Obama has never been a Muslim, and is a committed Christian.” The page states, “Obama never prayed in a mosque. He has never been a Muslim, was not raised a Muslim, and is a committed Christian who attends the United Church of Christ.”
But the campaign changed its tune when it issued a slightly different statement to the Times stating Obama “has never been a practicing Muslim.”
An article last month by the Chicago Tribune seems to dispute Adi’s statements to the L.A. Times. The Tribune catches up with Obama’s declared childhood friend, who now describes himself as only knowing Obama for a few months in 1970 when his family moved to the neighborhood. Adi said he was unsure about his recollections of Obama
But the Tribune found Obama did attend mosque.
“Interviews with dozens of former classmates, teachers, neighbors and friends show that Obama was not a regular practicing Muslim when he was in Indonesia,” states the Tribune article.
It quotes the presidential candidate’s former neighbors and 3rd grade teacher recalling Obama “occasionally followed his stepfather to the mosque for Friday prayers.”
Daniel Pipes, director of the Middle East Forum, notes the Tribune article – cited by liberal blogs as refuting claims Obama is Muslim – actually implies Obama was an irregularly practicing Muslim and twice confirms Obama attended mosque services.
In a free-ranging interview with the New York Times, Obama described the Muslim call to prayer as “one of the prettiest sounds on Earth at sunset.”
The Times’ Nicholos Kristof wrote Obama recited, “with a first-class [Arabic] accent,” the opening lines of the Muslim call to prayer.
Israel Insider’s Reuven Koret notes the first few lines state:
“Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
Allah is Supreme! Allah is Supreme!
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that there is no god but Allah
I witness that Muhammad is his prophet… ”
Some attention also has been paid to Obama’s paternal side of the family. His father, described in some reports as an atheist, polygamist and alcoholic, was buried in Kenya as a Muslim. Obama Sr., also named Barack Obama, had three sons with another woman who reportedly all are Muslim.
Obama’s brother Roy is described as a practicing Muslim.
Writing in a chapter of his book describing his 1992 wedding, the presidential candidate stated: “The person who made me proudest of all was Roy. Actually, now we call him Abongo, his Luo name, for two years ago he decided to reassert his African heritage. He converted to Islam, and has sworn off pork and tobacco and alcohol.”
Still, Obama says he was raised by his Christian mother and repeatedly has labeled as “smears” several reports attempting to paint him as a Muslim.
“Let’s make clear what the facts are: I am a Christian. I have been sworn in with a Bible. I pledge allegiance [to the American flag] and lead the pledge of allegiance sometimes in the United States Senate when I’m presiding,” he told the UK’s Times Online earlier this year.

If Leiberman had been run against Bush he would have won. He would have gotten the “Religious Right” vote because he actually practices his beliefs without fan-fair or apology. Although there are many things with which most conservatives disagree, before he was the VP candidate he was consistent and clear in his beliefs and actions. All of his op-ed pieces were online to be read by anyone who cared to do so. They were very consistent; his actions and votes were discussed openly in the paper to those in his district. Lieberman had nothing to hide and no apologies to make.
His adoption of the “party line” during the election broke trust with all of those who would have supported him for any higher office. Gore was a non-entity at the time; he had done very little to be recognizable to the public in a Presidential election.
The nomination of Kerry in the following election caused a great deal of harm to the party. He was distastful to as many Democrats as Republicans. “Swift-boating” was unnecessary–enough people remembered the 1970s (and his actions) to render him un-electable.
The ignorance displayed by so many of the comments here is appalling.

Joe Lieberman’s wife is a lobbyist – how would McCain run an honest-guy campaign with someone like that onboard?

Lieberman should join the Republican ticket…. he’s the only one that makes McCain look young! It would definitely be the old folks ticket.
Seriously, I am looking forward to an increased Senate majority so that Liberman can be booted out of the party sent to the minority where he belongs.

Lieberman is just posturing. If asked, he will run as VP. And McCain will ask him. That will be the death of the GOP, since half the convention will walk out. The man is pro-abortion, pro-Global Warming Myth, and for endless war in the Middle East. …And so is Lieberman.

>>Lieberman is the only liberal that wouldn’t wet his pants and surrender to our enemies so the Democratic party hates him now
There’s nothing liberal about LIEberman. He’s to the right of most Republicans.

He just doesn’t want McCain for VP if it turns out that he has eligibility issues after all.

Surely Americans deserve someone who’s
10% loyal to America.
Lieberman (I-Israel) is one of the worst of the dual loyalists. Whatever war or time on the taxpayer trough that Israel wants, Liberman is their boy.
A disgusting man.

Posted by: Orin | July 12, 2008, 12:57 pm 12:57 pm

Lieberman is the very face of a lie. He is on the wrong side of history–self-interested, unreliable as an ally and living on borrowed time as far as his influence in politics and senate is concerned! It is absurd that McCain can trust a man who is working to undermine the Party that gave him political birth. I guess McCain has become that kid of politician, using every expedient means (not principle) in the hope of winning. Maverick express with the wheels out! With their gerontological companionship so very apparent in what it represents–old politics–do we have a better argument for looking for something new and better, and more refreshing? And less we still fail to understand the basis of the McCain-Lieberman relation, how about smallmindedness–Lieberman seem not to be able to overcome the slight he felt he suffered in the hands of Democrats. But this thing (and what is at stake in this election) is bigger than any one of us.

If it were not for Lieberman, Al Gore would have been president. Maybe cunning Joe did it on purpose.

looserman is a flip flopper. He’s democrat one day, indpendent the next, and republican the day after that. He’s the reason Gore didn’t carry by a bigger margin and win the 2000 election. I guess we could blame this screwed up economy and high oil prices on the looserman. What will looserman be tomorrow? It depends on which way the political winds blow.
Uh, con, ain’t that the idea behind an “Independent?” Willing to explore all roads leading to the same place?
Look that up.
It seems your democrat buds enjoy Lieberman like he is. He could cross the aisle and there goes you margin. uh, oops…
Try and learn a bit before you open your mouth. You may find it works better that way and you don’t look so silly.

Why is Obama given credit for being against the war when he was a state legislator from IL, but was not clairvoyant enough to know what was happening in his own church?? As far as Joe running as an independant, he beat the moveon.org crowd at their own game. Ha Ha

Lieberman’s name comes up because some think he can deliver the jewish vote in florida. That was the thinking back in 2000. This time I guess the GOP can’t dig up anyone in FL to run for veep – I guess they’ve asked Jeb?
Whoever the veep candidates will be, they will be chosen based on their ability to deliver a key voting swing-state. So most likely they will have ties to Florida or Ohio.
Having Lieberman as VP would mean keeping US troops permenantly in Iraq to protect Israel.

Posted by: Bosun | July 12, 2008, 11:54 pm 11:54 pm

Regrettably, there’s little McCain can do to salvage his weak campaign. For all the whining Democrats did during Rush Limbaugh’s “Operation Chaos”, the truth is they pulled their own little coup by crossing over in the primaries to vote for the red herring, McCain. Add to that the media’s play-up of Mitt Romney’s –really the GOP’s best hope –religion and you have the recipe for the current GOP disaster. If BO had the good sense to pick someone like former senator Sam Nunn, I might even be persuaded to vote for that cynical carpet bagger. As a fifty-something self-employed, hard working, tax payer, I may just throw up my hands and say “go ahead fools. Pay my way!”

How unfortunate that so many responders herein are unable to comment on actual facts and being ignorant of them have to resort to name calling and insinuations and smears. Anyone can resort to these tactics, but that doesn’t make them so. What a bunch of nitpickers. Some liberals say that Obama isn’t liberal enough. Some conservatives say McCain is not conservative enough. Those bloomin idiots on both sides have never figured out why the business of voting for the lesser of the two evils is their real choice. No candidate is perfect, only that some are less perfect than others. Those of you who will vote for a candidate in spite of his many known failings are ignorant buffoons who really do not deserve to have a vote.
So who do I support? Thats for me to know and for you to wonder who. It will be the lesser of the two evils in any case. That’s the best we can hope for.

Posted by: Russ | July 13, 2008, 1:46 am 1:46 am

Regardless of the political realities which face this year’s Presidential candidates, a fact still remains: Sen. John McCain must choose a real, true blue conservative as his running mate. His candidacy begs for a third party challenge from the right — a possibility that no one wants to imagine. Were he to pick Lieberman as his running mate, this would propel one of these folks to run an aggressive conservative campaign to the right of McCain and almost certainly guarantee Obama’s election to the Presidency.

Posted by: Phil | July 13, 2008, 3:42 am 3:42 am

Well Russ, that is the argument that most of us are faced with. I say, follow me boys and vote for a third party. Take your pick — there are many to choose from. However, the fact is this: if we do not get this present, partisan government weaned off of the current two-party sham, we as a free people are doomed. Myself, I’ll be voting Libertarian this time around.

Posted by: BlueCaddy65 | July 13, 2008, 3:43 am 3:43 am

Just their choice in women should give John the office. But that aside…”change” means socialism to Barry boy. We aren’t going there.

The overwhelming majority of Congress and every President since Reagan (with arguably the exception of the first Bush) has been rock solid on Israel. Lieberman shares these same views yet he’s singuarly labeled by several posters here as being disloyal by supposedly serving Israel’s interests first. Could it be because he’s Jewish? This is an old anti-semetic canard and its disapointing in 2008 to see these same tired prejudices dragged out.

Posted by: Matt | July 13, 2008, 10:15 am 10:15 am

The fact that the Dems won’t kick Lieberman to the curb just proves what t total waste of time they are.

Posted by: Thomas Mc | July 13, 2008, 10:54 am 10:54 am

Lieberman would be a great choice and one that would be respected by both parties. He is a good man with very high standards which the dems do not have.

Posted by: JBW | July 13, 2008, 11:45 am 11:45 am

I have to imagine it would actually be a good idea for Lieberman to try and get the VP spot. He’s political future is about as bleak as one can get without involving a dead woman or live boy. Even if he manages to continue winning re-election as a hawk that seems to care more for Israel’s national security than America’s, he will be dumped happily by the dems after they get a significant majority. At that point he can try and side with the republicans, but he won’t be getting any chairmanships that way.

it is the lunatics in the democrapic party that marginilized joe liberman who is a fine person and good senator. while liberman has over an 80% voting records with the dems, that is not enough to satisfy the daily kos and other morons on the left. while bush has had many failures, he is no jimmy carter or obama. people should unite and elect a moderate republican not a left wing democrat.

So the story about Lieberman (I-Israel)
brings out all the DUAL LOYALISTS again.
A further treat, something named “Aaron Klein, World New Daily, from Jerusalem, has a piece that must be repeated, by some rude poster–
in it’s entirety!
because it’s so important to educate us. About how Obama is a Muslim.
Then, of course, the ‘so superior’ snippy little regular chorus scream anti semitism, as always. THey sit and wait to scream, a committee.
BUT they are correct. This country, and the rest of the world, according to the widely read and respected BBC survey, are anti-semitic, and increasingly so. Getting sick of it. more history.

Don’t fret. If it were up to me. I’d have the whole lot of the Israel loyalitys, including the “Shabbos goys” wearing yellow badges. There is no difference for me between these Shabbos-Goy False-Christian-Zionists and a Talmudic-Zionist. Every president since Reagan has been a traitor to his country. Now ya happy?

I can figure out if your are worthy of my time between whether or not you “stand by Israel” as some sort of false-Christian retard, or focused on Issues pertenent to Americans such as the Iowa flood, addressing the needs of our people.
We are different beasts. I am getting fed up with the “Israel Israel Israel, we must stand by Israel!”; “God will bless who bless and curse who curse!” crowd. (I’m no big religious man; but I know the only way to the father is through the son; so I figure these Bible! Bible! Bible!, Israel! Israel! Israel! fools are apostates).
The Zionist vs. American conflict is beginning to look alot like abolition vs. slavery. Zionists are a danger to our republic, I wish to secede from them.

Joe Lie-Berman is a Isreal first USA second politician who should be arrested for sedition. He is the reason why we are on the brink of world war 3. He and Isreal want the USA to send the US armed forces after Iran in a modern day crusade. I am no anti-semite but i refuse to fight for Isreal. My kids will not fight for Isreal. I beleive Isreal has the right to exist as does Iran, Iraq, Jordan, Syria and Saudi Arabia. If Isreal attacks Iran Russia has already said they will come to its defense as well as china. It makes you wonder sometimes if some of these conspiracy nuts are right. Did isreal, whose intell Mossad agency is the best in the world know about 9-11 and refuse to warn the USA. Thereby dragging the USA into the Middle East wars. Im not to sure. I find it hard to beleive they did not know. Isreal has over 100 nuclear warheads. These other nations like Syria and Iran are simply trying to defend themselves. If your next door neighbor was your sworn enemy and has a really big gun would you not be angry that he tried to keep you from getting your own big gun. Oh and all you Idiots who continue to spread false rumors about Obama, you are what we in the correctional setting call “Cell Gangters” You make false statements behind the wall of the internet but at the office and around the outside you clam up like a little girly man. Hows this for a rumor.. John Mcains military debriefing when he was released from captivity is sealed for no one to see. Why? There were some accusations that he is not the hero people think and indeed cooperated with the enemy. Theres one story that information he provided caused the death of some GI’s Whats to hide.. Release the information..
