Poll numbers you won’t see on ABC or AP or the other Obama news outlets – today’s 08/20 Zogby Poll putting Obama 5 points behind McCain. If AP publishes it, it ends up everywhere. It was published on the Reuters site and will wilt in obscurity because it doesn’t follow the script the media has written for the election.

being mccains age and knowing his background almost firsthand makes it very difficult to listen to his lies–and the made up stories about him—-he absolutely is not the hero some claim him to be—this is coming out more and more by the day.the man was a military disaster.do the research.

the last 8 years show what the cost is for bad judgement in higher government.
going to war over lies and deception or for oil is not a just cause and our military are not a bunch of robots–and wont be fooled by the likes of bomb bomb mccain

I seem to remember a survey that said a slight majority of WWII, Korea and Vietnam veterans voted for Clinton for president. I wasn’t surprised. A lot of men were drafted for those wars but a lot of them volunteered. They put their life on the line for people in foreign countries. You can’t get more altruistic than that. Therefore it comes as no surprise to me that combat veterans support politicians who advocate paying taxes to support those in our own society who need help. I’d much rather pay taxes than shed my own blood again(I was awarded three purple hearts in VN) to help those in need.

With my 3 children currently serving in the US Air Force, In Japan, Turkey and Afganistan, they see a good cross section of the military vote. They all say: overwhelminly, McCain, Obama seems too anti-American.

People tend to vote and side with people that have been in the same situations they have. Obama has never even been a boy scout let alone the been in the military. Leave the big decisions to people who have been there done that, like McCain.

Are people just half listening to Obama??? He made a comment that if we pull out of Iraq we may have to go back later???? McCain wants to make sure Iraq is secured and over so it isn’t ongoing and our troops will never half to go back there. God Bless our troops and give them the wisdom and knowlege and knowlege to know what to do with it when they cast their votes this Novemeber. America security depends on them.

Great response Louise. Mc authored his own GI Bill with varying benefits especially to family members of Service members to use their benefits.
BO degrades all service members as well as do dems who gullibly believe him just to get a dem in the WH. My family and friends in Hawaii will cast our votes for our patriot, Sen McCain!!!
