ABC NEWS’ NATALIE GEWARGIS WRITES:
We follow the candidates along the campaign trail and all across the map, but we don’t often get to follow them home.
The Chicago Tribune offers a glimpse of the presumptive Democratic nominee’s stomping grounds in an unauthorized tour of “Obama’s Chicago.”
The tour highlights places such as where he gets his turkey legs and dressing to the ice cream shop where he wooed Michelle (they shared their first kiss at Number 5). Check out the Obama’s Kenwood home (and the ten-foot wide strip of land sold to them by Tony Rezko’s wife, Rita) that caused quite a fuss and raised allegations of ethical improprieties.
After following in the senator’s footsteps take the Tribune’s quiz and see if you know if you know who helped Obama get to where he is today and whether the candidate prefers sneakers to flip-flops or cheaters to rats.
How long after taking office did it take Obama to give his first major speech on the Iraq war as a U.S. Senator?
A. 1 week B. 1 month C. 6 months D. 11 months
